15/09: book launch Johan Pas @ Maurice Verbaet
Artists' Publications: The Belgian Contribution is the first book dedicated to books and periodicals published by Belgian artists and art publishers, from 1900 to now. It is the result of research project by Johan Pas, who will present the book at Maurice Verbaet on Friday, September 15.
The research project was facilitated by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp (AP University College) and the Antwerp University, supported by Maurice Verbaet and MER. Paper Kunsthalle vzw. The book is published by Koenig Books, London and designed by Studio Luc Derycke, Ghent.
Johan Pas also curated an exhibition with 50 Belgian artists’ publications, which will be on show at Maurice Verbaet from September 16 to October 15.
