Is it possible that you could write a Sun Haven oneshot where to establish peace in Withergate, Darius and the Fem!Farmer were placed into an arranged marriage and they’re both learning how to get along before the big wedding?
Hey, sorry for the wait. First of all, thanks so much for the ask!!! I had a blast writing, even if it took me a bit. I hope you like it and sorry that it's so short. I had to cut it off or else it'd snowball into a 20k word thing(that's been happening to me consistently when I start new oneshots recently.)
(It's been a while since I've posted so sorry if the format is different.) Type: Ask fulfill, scenario, fluff. Words: 1 394. Pairing: Darius/feminine reader Pov: 2nd person Gender: Fem
_______
You didn't orginally know how to feel about the information. You had been settled into your new job as a farmer in Sun Haven for little over a year when your friend and basically town mayor asked to speak to you.
Now normally, you loved spending time with Lucia whenever you two could spare it, considering how little time the two of you ever had to spare. But the way she spoke in her letter was disconcerting, to say the least.
So you finished watering your crops for the day and set off towards her office, a sinking feeling of dread in your chest.
She greeted you with a warm hug that smelled of mana and spice, as always, and urged you to sit down in her office. "Hey, my favourite farmer! I haven't seen you in a while."
You smiled at her and sat down. "Lucia, I'm the *only* farmer you know. Unless you count Liam growing wheat for his bakery."
She laughed, as she always did when you said that. "I know, I know. You make sure to remind me. But I've missed you."
You sighed. "I missed you too. And as much as I love you, I know you didn't call me in today for a catch-up session. You've been going back and forth with the King of Withergate for close to a month now. So spill."
Lucia winced at the reminder of why this meeting was happening. "... So. You know how we've been trying to settle an agreement with Withergate? We've finally settled on something."
"...Okay? Isn't that a good thing? What did you settle on?"
The way she looked at you exuded guilt. "You're going to marry the Prince."
You blinked for a few seconds, dumbfounded. "... What? Lucia, what in the world!?"
"You're the best person to do it and you'll be ferried over to Withergate in a few days so that you two can get to know each other before the wedding."
"Lucia, slow down. *What???*"
_______
That had been a few days ago. Here you sat, at the river next to your farm, waiting to be shipped off as a bride to someone you've never met. At least it would mean that Withergate wouldn't be giving Sun Haven a hard time, but it was still a difficult pill to swallow.
You were a farmer. Why in the world would any Prince want to marry you? You felt naked without the armour you forged, the only pretty dress you owned your body's only protection. It was rude to show up to a first date in armour.
The ferryman was nice enough, although silent. The time to reflect was appreciated. You'd gone so far as to scrape the dirt that was almost permanently present from under your nails. You were still unsure of how to feel.
A part of you desperately wanted to be angry. But you couldn't bring yourself to be. This was for the good of Sun Haven and you couldn't bring yourself to be angry at Lucia for doing what's best for her town.
You were anxious. You didn't know a single thing about Withergate, let alone its Prince.
When you finally met your arranged Fiancé, he wasn't what you were expecting. He was arrogant and cocky, yes, you had expected that from a Prince, but he knew every resident by name and kept himself invested in their lives. He was... caring. Extremely so.
You could tell he was uncertain of what to do with you, too. He was prickly the first few times you interacted. You were surprised that you didn't mind as much as you thought you would.
It had been half a week since you settled into your apartment. You had been given a rooftop area to farm in, which was kinder than you had hoped for.
You breathed soil for most of the day. You were so absorbed in your crops and caring for them that you hadn't even noticed your fiancé standing on the roof with a plate of native Withergate food in hand. "Do you usually get so covered in dirt when you farm?" His voice startled you when it announced his presence.
You turned to him, resting your arm on your hoe. "Well, yeah. Farming is a very dirt-related activity. It is, in fact, common to be covered in dirt because of it."
It was clear that Darius didn't expect that answer from the way he opened and closed his mouth a few times.
He eventually decided that there was no proper reply for that and gently waved tye plate of food around in the air. "I brought you lunch."
You eyed the food for a second, equal parts suspicion and surprise. "You better not have been the one to make it. No offense, but you can't cook to save your life."
He rolled his eyes in response and scoffed. "No, I didn't cook it. One of the palace chefs did. Now, do you want the food or not?"
With a sigh, you set down your hoe in its designated spot and clapped your hands together a few times to get rid of most of the mud on them. You'd already been chewed out by your landlord because of the dirt on your doorknobs once and weren't keen to repeat the action. "I do. It's actually really sweet of you. Just- come along and give me a second, I want to shower before I eat."
You were already turned towards the roof access door, so you didn't see Darius' cheeks grow a tad pinker. Mentally, you noted that you were lucky that the dish Darius brought doesn't cool down even after hours of leaving it alone.
Trying your best not to get dirt everywhere, you enter your apartment and take off your farming shoes at the door. "Please take your shoes off before coming inside. After that, make yourself at home." You called out to your fiancé as you made your way to the shower.
Said fiancé took off his shoes and looked around your, admittedly meager, furnishing. "... Is this really what you live like?" He called from his spot in the middle of the living room. He wasn't sure if he should sit on the couch, since it looked seconds away from collapsing.
"We can't all be nepo babies! Most of the money I make goes straight back into getting more crops or improving my gear."
You could hear him scoff even through the walls between you two. "That's preposterous. This couch looks one bad day away from giving up."
"To be fair, I don't really spend much time relaxing for the fun of it."
There was a moment of silence as Darius thought. You assumed he was silently judging you, but he was actually deciding that it was now his main objective (after making sure that Withergate is still doing well) to maks sure you rested. He himself had workaholic tendencies, but even he realised that you need to rest sometimes.
When you were eventually finished with your shower and donned your more presentable casual clothes, you motioned towards your small dining table that has two chairs. You chose the one with the bad leg.
He sat down the plate in front of you, complete with a fork, and sat down in the opposite chair.
"Don't you have anything to eat too?" You couldn't help but ask as you grasped the fork and started to eat. It was delicious, especially so to your stomach empty from hours of work.
"I already ate. I know you tend to forget to eat until dinner, so I brought you something after dinner at the palace was finished."
You hummed appreciatively, but ate in silence for a few moments. "What trouble has Donovan gotten into recently?"
The long-suffering groan Darius let out told you more than enough, but you listened to the shenanigans anyway. You loved Donovan, really, but he was the embodiment of a little rascal.
The two of you kept talking for a while after that. It was surprisingly easy to talk to him, despite the class difference and his tendency to be rude.
In the back of your mind, you had a thought. Maybe this marriage wouldn't be built on undying love and romance, but it wouldn't be the worst thing in world, despite what you originally believed.

OMG HI!! You wouldn’t understand my pain when searching for any blogs that wrote for Sun Haven characters x readers. Much less see a blog that were still active! But I’d like to request for Kitty and Lynn (or just kitty if you only write for one character per ask) for the following alphabets F, I, J, L, U
Rip I was almost done replying to this, then opened a post on my tumblr app and the post got deleted T-T. But Hey!!! You'd be surprised how much I understand the struggle. I'm happy to provide, though. I will admit that I'm not too familiar with the newer characters(like after the seasons update) because I haven't been able to play for a while. Thanks for the ask!!!
Rip me for having to retype all of this. ( I am being smart now and typing it in my notes app instead of tumblr now tho.)
Kitty:
F- Fiancé ( How do they feel about commitment? How fast do they want to get married?) I don't think she's scared of commitment. I don't really know what a normal time frame for marriage is since I don't want to get married, but I think she'd want it pretty fast. Like once she's certain she likes you, she'll want marriage. She doesn't strike me as someone who cares how fast a relationship is moving.
I- I love you( how fast do they say love) She's also fast with this. She doesn't really see the need for it to be a special moment. "If she doesn't love you, then why would she date you?" <- Kitty's thought process
J- Jealousy(How jealous do they get? What do they do when they're jealous?) She doesn't really get jealous easily. Not because of confidence, but because she trusts you not to do anything. She strikes me as the type to not get into relationships unless she *really* trusts that person. If she were to get jealous, though, she would probably get more touchy than normal and may or may not hiss at that person behind your back.
L- Little Ones(how are they around children?) Kids LOVE her. She's so fun to be around and she meows and she's a cat!! Even to amari kids who aren't as affected by her status as a cat amari, she's still great because she's entertaining and she cares a lot about their feelings.
U- Ugly (What are some bad habits of theirs?) I think she chews her hair sometimes. Not often, but enough. She usually does it when she's bored and has to sit still for long. She also can't sit still for too long with nothing to distract her. We know she speaks in 3rd person, which can be considered a bad habit, so I'm listing it, but I don't really think it is.
Lynn:
F- Fiancé ( How do they feel about commitment? How fast do they want to get married?) She's also not scared of commitment. Tbh, she kind of expects it. She gets into relationships with the assumption that one of the goal posts is marriage. She does want to take it slow, though.
I- I love you( how fast do they say love) She's not slow to say it and not fast. It doesn't take her years to say it, but when she does say it, she makes sure it's a special moment. She places a lot of importance on the word and might do it how it's done in her culture.
J- Jealousy(How jealous do they get? What do they do when they're jealous?) She gets sad instead of jealous. Both of those emotions are smoke screens for insecurity, but instead of reflecting outward as done in jealousy, she reflects it inwards. She deals with it by doing more work than she normally would. The flow of the metal and forge keeps her mind too busy to dwell on her thoughts. Solon will look at you judgingly when that happens, though. On the bright side, when your relationship is more established and she's more certain of herself and your love for her, the sadness is mostly just a whisper instead of like a full-blown scream in her mind.
L- Little Ones(how are they around children?) Kids love her, too. She may not have the same entertaining personality as Kitty, but she is very compassionate. Kids like her because she cares about how they feel and takes those feelings into account. She also treats them like adults.(not in the sense that she allows them to gamble, but more in the sense that she treats them as beings capable of independent thought and reason. She doesn't automatically assume they don't know anything)
U- Ugly (What are some bad habits of theirs?) She bites her nails frequently when she's anxious. She also tends to overwork herself, and she often bottles up her feelings of not being enough. She's also pretty forgetful, so she'll leave things in random places and she might forget appointments or birthdays. Especially if it's her first time attending it or it isn't part of her daily or weekly schedule.
Hope this was okay!! Thanks again for the ask and I hope you enjoyed!!

Back on my bullshittery again. I saw this post and got inspired to do the same with Tally-ho, so here we go. Thanks to @dynamite124 for answering my ask and thus helping me with my fic.
Taliesin with the idea that the time spent in Sovengarde fighting Alduin felt like hours, but was actually years, and the dragonborn is presumed dead. Can be read as platonic since no inherently romantic actions take place, but is intended to be romantic.
Words: 877
Sovengarde was nothing like Massacre expected it to be. They had heard passing tales of glory and battle from the few nords in the college and on their journey, but no mere story could regale precisely how beautiful and serene it was. Minus the horrible dragon that they had to fight, that is.
The fight itself passed quick enough -as quick as all fights do, with adrenaline changing your perception of time- and the celebratory afterparty was wonderful. Massacre quickly learned that if there's anybody that knows how to party, it's dead nords.
After a party that left them glad they couldn't get hungover through dimensions, Massacre returned to the living world of Skyrim, but something was.... wrong.
The temple that the portal to Sovengarde belonged to seemed more... disheveled than Massacre remembered, and the bones seemed more aged than they last left them.
Slightly perturbed, Massacre decided to go to Whiterun immediately. Their companions would have known what was going on, they were sure of it.
The trip took a week, and Massacre was determined to not stop in cities or villages. Throughout the week, they found themself glad that they knew how to hunt and forage. They considered calling Odahviing, but decided against it. They didn't want to spook the city's people, and their horse was back in the stables, so their only travel option was on foot.
Whiterun looked different too. It seemed less lively and the kids looked older. No one said 'Hi' to them or even paid mind to them, as if they'd been forgotten. It left them feeling uneasy.
Dragonsreach was more dilpetaded than they remember, the stone carrying age and weather that it shouldn't have.
Balgruuf didn't recognize them. His face carried lines and blemishes that it wasn't supposed to and looked at them with confusion.
Something was very, very wrong.
~
They spent three months looking for him. He was nowhere to be found across all of Skyrim, and the only indiction that he had been there was a journal left behind in Lakeview Manor.
From what the journal said- in Taliesin's handwriting-, they had been gone for over a year, and were presumed dead after a month. They remember him saying that after everything in Skyrim, he wanted to visit other parts of Nirn, primarily Elseweyr and High Rock.
By the gods, Massacre hoped that was still true. They couldn't bear the thought of never finding him again.
High rock was a bust. Getting a passport and the doccumentation needed was a story and a half, and after months of looking over the unfamiliar terrain, they found nothing. Massacre hoped he was still alive. They didn't know how long they had been gone, but anyone could die any day and they would be none the wiser.
Sending a small prayer to the Nine, they prepared for their trek across Elsweyr.
The sandy terrain was warmer than they were used to, and unforgiving. Their meals were few and far between, and water was even less frequently stumbled upon. Sometimes, they wondered if they died in Sovengarde and this was some sort of punishment placed upon them for failing to fullfil their purpose.
They kept hope though, as it was the only thing that kept their steps coming one after the other.
~
Finally, after almost a year's worth of searching the blazing heats of Elsweyr, Massacre found him. When they saw him amongst the Khajiit, they thought he was a mirage. The world was already cruel, so why not torment them some more?
Then he looked at them, and disbelief took over his features.
They knew that no mirage conjured by their memory could imitate that look. They wanted to scream praises for whatever deity finally allowed them to find their best friend.
Instead, they started running towards him. "Talliesin!"
The disbelief only grew the closer they got. Massacre was close to crying from the joy of finding him.
They collided with him head on, almost sending the elf toppling over. He was real, and Massacre was so glad to have found him.
They stood in eachother's hold for who-cares-how-long, processing that they were both actually there. They were both alive and together, and that was all that mattered in that moment.
After he recovered from the shock, he pulled back, staring at them. "You're alive." It wasn't a question, but they answered anyway.
"Yeah, I am. I'm so sorry I left you. I didn't know that I was in there for so long. I'm so, so sorry."
They both had tears in their eyes, and for all they knew, it was just the two of them in this city made of sand.
"I thought I lost you. You were gone for so long, we all thought Alduin had won, or that you had both bested eachother..."
"I'm so sorry. I'm here, and I was so scared when I couldn't find you. I thought I had lost you. You don't know how long I was looking for you." Massacre felt like a broken record, but they didn't care. They couldn't imagine what he had gone through when he thought they were dead. They wished he never had to experience any of it.
"It's okay. You're here now, and that's what matters."

Hello, yes, for anyone following me for the Taliesin fic I'm working on; things have been delayed slightly because I haven't been able to play Skyrim for months and now I might need a new gpu because Nvidia likely nuked the drivers for my current one bc it's "too old".
I haven't been able to find the motivation or words to work on it until I can play skyrim again, since it was mostly born out of my love for Skyrim and having Taliesin in my game. I'm honestly still livid about it and am hoping that using open-source linux drivers can fix the issue right now because I have NOWHERE near enough money to get an entire new gpu. I've been trying to play skyrim for a month or more now and other games for six months, but I kept thinking it was some sort of tomfoolery that I got up to when it is likely just nvidea screwing poor people over.
I've also been having personal struggles with my illnesses and, in general, been very dysphoric, so the fic is still at 33k words out of the expected 90k. I honestly so badly want to work on it again, but I just can't find the words when I sit down to do it.
I hope everyone reading this has been having a better time in life than I have.

Hey, so I've decided to just keep this as a pinned post until I update the old one/make a new one.
Hi, I'm arson and I sometimes make, draw, and write things. I also reblog things here.
My requests are technically open and I have one request that I haven't forgotten about and plan to finish at some point, but writing just isn't fully where my brain is at the moment and this is a hobby for me, not a job. I'm still working on fics that I have spoken about and am passively thinking about them, but the best way to describe their state at the moment is that they are meads that I am fermenting and they are also things I am lettibg simmer in the back of my head like soup. I occasionally start oneshots aswell, but none have been posted yet since I've realised I dislike posting things concretely until they're done because of the possibility that I'll abandon them/change them completely. I'm slowly getting better in regards to being creative, as you might see from my recent(and hopefully continuing) influx of original fanart posts, but I have been struggling to write and be creative in general for a while due to dysphoria being yucky and my disabilities making it hard to think/be productive sometimes.
I try to keep a pretty accurate tagging practice, but I've been here a while and need to sit down at some point and do a backlog of editing posts' tags to my system. If you are looking for/would appreciate a tag index, it'll be under the cut. The cut is here for blog accessibility. I will update this post to be accurate as time continues
Currently, if you're looking for an original post of mine, this is the category I especially want to look back on and change the tags of. So apologies that this is a bit hard to source at the moment.
From now on, I want to start tagging my posts this way so that you can differentiate between when I posted something I made/did vs when I reblog something from someone:
_My creative stuff/own posts_
#original post - used to group together all of my original posts, including: talking about things that wouldn't fully fit within my arsontastic rambles tag, text posts that aren't writing, writing, any jokes/memes I post, and my art!
#arsontastic original - used to just generally make all of my creative posts easy to find. For general original posts, the previous tag is used. This tag is specifically for my fandom-centered original posts where I show off things I made/wrote/etc
#arsontastic writing - Generally all of my writing content. If you are looking for my fics and headcanons, etc, this is where you'll be able to find them
#arsontastic fanart -all of my artistic, non-writing, content. This is a bit more general than the writing tag. You'll be able to find things like traditional and digital fanart I've done and also any other artistic stuff I've done!!
#arsontastic ocs - not currently a tag, but I've realised I want to add a tag where you can find info/ posts about my ocs. (For eg. Massacre) without having to look at their individual tags.
_Important Blog Navigation_
This post has made me realise I also don't have a tag for blog updates/talk, which is something that I would like to be easily found, so I'll start adding this one:
#blog updates and Shenanigans
Up until recently, I've only had one tag for everything I reblog and then fandom tags, but I've realised that that kind of prevented me from reblogging as much as I want to because I would be worried about something or another relating to it, so I'm going to, from now on, try to reblog with the following tags:
I do have a tag that I use for when I'm talking about things, which this post also has:
#arsontastic rambles -this is used to indicate my rambles/posts about varying things. ( For eg. I don't remember if the post has the tag, but I want to add it to it; my post where I talk about how I love fictional up languages and you can tell my parents are interpreters by how I engage with fandom. This is evident from my currently being worked on on and off elder scrolls language index
I'd also like to add tag for all of my own, and other people's resources for various things.
#useful resources is what it'll be for now, but it might change/gain section in the future
_Reblogs_
#reblog - still will be used for all reblogs, mostly for ease of movement
#reblogging other people's art - as the name suggests, this is the tag that I use to differentiate between textposts, memes, and other reblogs vs art/fanart reblogs(including writing) this tag is subject to change.
I'm debating whether or not to add a small index of fandom tags, so if that is something people would like, I'll add it.
Here are my oc-specific tags. I've only really talked about Massacre on here so far, but there are more and they will gain tags when I do talk about them. (I am putting tags here for characters that have names already and stories but I haven't talked about yet, too): (worth noting: almost all of my characters are trans, and all of my mcs are)
_Original Character section_
#Skyrim oc -for grouping together all of my skyrim characters
#Massacre the Last Dragonborn -Massacre's tag. Although I am considering also just tagging them as Massacre gro-shub aswell. Anyway, important info: Urag gro-shub's kid and is also a skyrim oc, paired with Taliesin, nonbinary, a sucker for kids even if they do dislike/not trust most people. They/them
#Lorne the Dragonborn -Lorne's (who is currently being developed but I have basic ideas and notes for her story already.)'s tag. Important info: is an oc for a skyrim fic, is a follower/ chosen of Lorkhan, trans, straight, paired with Teldryn Sero, and is technically an isekai! She/her
#Stardew Valley oc - not used yet but will be the grouping tag for all of my stardew ocs
#Grass the Farmer - Grass's tag. Haven't really talked about him at all yet. Important info: stardew valley farmer oc, is for a crossover fic, paired with Eskel from the witcher, unhinged (tm), trans, mlm, and is on year 6 with the average of 2 hearts with villagers. He/they
There are two other characters that will have tags at some point, but I don't really know how to phrase their tags yet so I'll just tell you about them here: Wiryar- my silmarillion oc. They're paired with Maglor and their story is meant to touch a lot on how religion can be used for bigotry and the original generation of elves/elf culture wasn't a fun time to be different in their version of middle-earth Their name is the verb for changing and they named themselves after that specifically because it is one of the things they value most. They're also an opportunity for me to be proud of ny country's foliage and environments because Tolkein wrote Middle Earth with South Africa in mind and my goodness, if I have a chance to be proud of my country and share my love for it, I will take it!!! Then there is also Kikyomatsu - they are an oc for the anime Demon Slayer and they're paired with Muzan. They, and their story in general, are an opportunity for me to explore the topic of disability and how that has affected me and how it can impact you as a person. This will kind of have two versions, both being similar and yet different. The main aspect is reincarnation. In one version, Kikyomatsu doesn't remember their past lives. In the other, they do. Both are going to be fun to write and share some key elements, but they will have different timelines and the method of connection is different. In the one where they don't remember, they are consistently running into Muzan by chance and it's something that Muzan has to grapple with(but doesn't) on his own for the majority of their lives. In the one where they do, though, they are actively seeking him out once they realise he's still alive and they won't allow him to push away the things he has to work through.
I might make Lore guides/story-specufic guides in the future because I tend to add a lot or change some things for every story I write. (Eg. I will be making an entire version of pop culture for Stardew Valley in Grass' story because why not :))) also because I find it fun to do silly world building like this!)
