If there's one thing Felicity has learned about Oliver, it's that identity is very important to him. Oliver had once wished her a Merry Christmas, and the second Felicity said she was Jewish, he'd corrected himself. And yeah, Felicity knows that's kinda the bare minimum. But there were other things, too.
When Felicity had vehemently opposed his decision to make her his EA, he'd done everything he could to make her feel connected to her old job. She only sees that when she's no longer his EA, but hindsight is 20/20, right? Of course, there wasn't much he could do, but the computers with higher processing power was a nice thought at the very least.
Identities are very important to Oliver, Felicity realizes, because Oliver barely knew his own. He wanted people to respect that. He tells her the story of Ra's and the self-sacrifice (suicide plan) plane crash thing.
"You are Wareeth Al-Ghul," Ra's had said.
And Oliver, drawing his sword and preparing his last words, had said, "My name is Oliver Queen!"
Felicity had never been happier that one of his plans didn't go as well as he'd hoped.
When Oliver is tortured by Adrian Chase, the aftermath reminds her of this fact. Felicity has never seen the fight knocked out of him, so when he tells her and Dig that he's shutting everything down, when he barely looks at her…
She wants Adrian Chase dead more than ever.
"I don't know who I am anymore," he says.
And Felicity tells him, as gently as she can, to figure it out. Because, above anything else, it's important to him.

undone - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 270
It's odd seeing Oliver in a suit again— the business kind, not the vigilante kind. She'd gotten used to seeing him in a plain gray t-shirt or a hoodie and sweatpants. At the most, a polo. He had worn a leather jacket more often than a suit jacket.
Now that he's mayor, it's back to the fancy business attire with the top two buttons of his shirt undone, and Felicity kinda misses his gray t-shirt. Not that she really has the right to miss anything of him, since they're not together anymore. She sighs as she pulls up profiles on the other vigilantes that have been running around, trying to follow in Oliver's footsteps. Only to receive arrows in various body parts courtesy of an Angry Oliver.
Felicity has been trying to get him to work with a new team for months and of course it's only when Quentin gets the SCPD in on a mission is when he does. Felicity rolls her eyes and makes her annoyance clear to them both. Felicity just wishes he would give life a chance sometimes.
She lets it go. Some things about Oliver will never change, and she knows how hard it is for him to trust. Especially after the island he tells her nothing about. She doesn't mind really. She would never pressure him to talk about it when he wasn't ready. She had things she didn't feel like sharing with people, too. It just might help her understand why he was… well, the way he is. If she knew.
One day, she'll go through the tiniest bit of what he has. One day, she'll understand. But that day isn't today.

porch - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 311
It was funny. In all the years of playing vigilante with Oliver, she never actually imagined life without him. Even when she'd thought he'd died after his duel with Ra's… well, Dig called it denial, but Felicity just knew he was coming back. After Crisis— that was denial. Felicity ran every search she could because, in their line of work, if there was no body then there was no death. And sometimes even when there was a body, people came back.
His death didn't sink in for her until the funeral. Just months ago, they were sitting on the porch of the safe house John set up for them. The memories became a blur even months later. In another timeline, Felicity sat on the same porch watching Nyssa train Mia. Oliver changed things, Sara told her, when he "rebooted the universe". Felicity didn't really know how that worked, and she didn't really care. She sat in the huge backyard of the Queen mansion, watching Mia and William play.
Moira didn't seem to hate her as much after being revived by Oliver. Felicity had a lot of questions for when she could finally join him wherever he was. Having her to talk about Oliver with both helped and hurt. Everyone moved on, even Diggle. He moved to Metropolis. Felicity didn't know how. The last eight years meant something to her; no, meant everything to her.
She moved on, too, eventually. Not from him, but from their old life. She focused on raising their kids and working as CEO of her own company. Her mom called often to tell her how proud she was of her baby girl. And she pushed through the years it took to get back to her husband.
And finally, twenty years later, she could.
"Hey. I'm glad you could finally make it," Oliver says.
Felicity runs to him.

Snow White - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 552
"Not to be paranoid," Felicity said, "but how do we know this isn't a trap?"
She was getting serious deja vu. This happened at least once a month, and Oliver's response was always along the same lines.
"We don't. But it's our best chance," Oliver said.
Felicity resisted the urge to copy him as he was saying it. That also happened often.
"You know, this never works!" Felicity called out to him as he left.
***
Felicity decided to switch it up for the next time it happened. A few weeks later, Oliver brought back a USB drive that supposedly, very conveniently had the names of everyone on this guy's payroll, and he gave it up willingly. Felicity was almost certain it was actually a virus.
"Don't look a gift horse in the mouth," he said.
Golden opportunity. Felicity was almost glad this guy is setting a trap.
"Did no one get the point of that story? You're supposed to look the gift horse in the mouth so you don't end up like the Trojans," Felicity said. "Do you want to end up like the Trojans?"
Oliver gave her a look that meant, I have no clue what you're talking about; can you just do this please?
Felicity sighed.
"I'm not risking it here. I'll take it home and do it on my old computer," she said.
"Thank you," Oliver said.
Felicity later got a completely expected virus. Oliver apologized as always. And the cycle repeated.
***
Two weeks later, Oliver brought her critical intel on where someone on the list was hiding out. Turned out, some evil billionaires had plans for when the Hood paid them a visit. It wasn't exactly a convenient USB drive, but it definitely was a trap.
"Let's move," Oliver told Dig.
"Poison apple," Felicity mumbled.
Oliver gave her his "confused puppy" look.
"Snow White?" she clarified. "Witch stepmom gives her a poison apple and she…"
Felicity motions the slitting of her throat to symbolize… well.
"What are you trying to say?" Oliver asked.
"It's obviously a trap," she drawled.
Oliver went anyway, but he was prepared. It all turned out in the end, but Felicity wasn't sure it always would.
***
Felicity had lost count of how many times Oliver purposely led himself into a trap, or an obviously bad situation. One day, she decided she had enough.
"Why do you do this?" she demanded.
Oliver gave her a confused look.
"You walk into a trap, knowing it's a trap. You keep walking into death traps, and one day you won't be able to outsmart it," she said. Loudly.
"Felicity—" "Don't give me the 'that's what heroes do' bull-crap."
"Because that's the best option. Sometimes we don't have the time to see if something else is going to pan out. I calculate the risk."
Felicity considered that. She'd watched Oliver go out as the Hood for almost two years now. Every "trap" he'd let himself into, he was more than capable of getting through. Sure, there were risks he couldn't calculate. But Oliver wouldn't tell Felicity he could handle something he really could not. At least, he hadn't yet.
"Okay," she said.
Besides, new traps for Oliver to walk into meant new quips for her to come up with. Which was dark, but that was their life, wasn't it?

superman - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 368
It was one of the many times Oliver was recounting his past to her. He’d already told her what happened on the island and now he was filling in gaps of moments she wasn’t there at. Felicity told him he didn’t need to, but he admitted to enjoying storytelling to her. It helped him process through everything that had happened, and reliving it all didn’t hurt as much as it once did.
He was telling her how he woke up in Barry’s body, looking away guiltily as he recounted Iris kissing him while she still thought he was Barry. Felicity can’t help but laugh. Sometimes their lives were so ludicrous. He tells her about going to Star Labs, and Team Flash following him out into the corridor for a pep talk or something. Felicity tries not to laugh at his confusion of normal comfort. Their ideas of pep talks were harsh truths and yelling at each other to get their heads in the game.
But Star City and Central City were very different places. The members of Team Flash and Team Arrow were very different.
“Barry finally convinces Iris to give us the breach thing, and we go to Kara’s Earth,” Oliver recounted. “She actually knows who we are. It was such a relief.”
He told her about meeting Kara’s cousin.
“Wait, Superman? You met Superman?”
“Mm-hmm,” he said.
He spoke more about that crossover, telling her about the other reality they’d switched into— the one where Barry and him were criminals.
“And… well, I can tell you the rest later,” he sighs. “Tired of talking. Tell me a story?”
Felicity thought about it. It wasn’t the first time he’d asked, but her life had been pretty simple. She’d already told him about Cooper and the supervirus, since he already knew a little about that. She never really liked talking about her dad, for a lot of reasons. But, Oliver never really liked talking about the island either. She started with happy memories. And then the more painful ones— the fights he and her mom had, hushed conversations she tried so hard to eavesdrop on, him leaving.
She found that it did feel good to talk about it.

slut - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 500
Felicity wonders if Oliver knows what they say about her. She wonders if he notices the way they look at her when she makes her way to his office, or when she takes the elevator with him. He must know how it looks to them when they leave together hours later than the typical work day ends. He must hear the rumors that transgress through hushed whispers throughout Queen Consolidated’s twenty-something floors.
Their first week back from Russia, she realizes he doesn’t.
“Thank God he’s finally gotten over that bitch,” some girl is saying. “I heard he slept with Isabel Rochev.”
“Well, Smoak’s not back in I.T.—” another girl cuts herself off.
“Excuse me?” That’s Oliver’s voice. Holy crap.
“Mr. Queen— I—,” the first girl splutters.
“If I ever catch the two of you speaking about other employees that way again, I will personally see to it that you’re fired. And I will be speaking to H.R. about this incident,” he says, voice low and dangerous.
Of course, Felicity has heard it lower, and more dangerous. When he’s wearing his other suit.
She hears the girls mutter apologies.
Oliver is fuming when he walks into his office. He stops before her desk. Felicity doesn’t look up, mostly because she doesn’t want to have this conversation. She seriously can’t believe it took him this long to notice people gossiping. It’s not like they were quiet about it— clearly.
“Felicity,” he says, trying to soften his voice. It’s underlined with anger that’s not directed at her. “How often does that happen?”
“Often,” is her unclear response. “It’s fine; I’ve heard worse.”
“Worse?” He can’t keep the anger out of his voice this time.
“You know, the usual— ‘slut’, ‘whore’, ‘that bitch only wants money’, you know,” Felicity says, taking a stack of papers with her as she stands up.
Oliver puts a hand on her shoulder gently— a request not to leave. It’s always that, never holding her wrist (maybe because he knows how that feels). Felicity almost doesn’t comply.
“Felicity,” he says gently. “I’m sorry. I should’ve realized before. I thought Isabel was exaggerating.”
Felicity stiffens at that. She shouldn’t care they talked, or slept together, or whatever. It’s none of her business.
“Like I said,” she says, trying to keep her voice steady. “It’s fine. It doesn’t matter. People will gossip. You know how it is.”
He gives her a guilty look, one that says I do know how it is, but I never wanted that for you.
“It’s not your fault. What did Isabel say to make you finally notice anyway?” she asks.
Oliver avoids her gaze as he answers. “She said everyone at Queen Consolidated thinks we sleep together."
“Well, I coulda told you that,” she tries to joke. It falls flat.
“I’m sorry,” he says.
“There’s nothing you can do now,” she says honestly.
She thinks she sees heartbreak in his eyes, and for a second she feels vindicated. Then, she’s just heartbroken with him.

outside - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 395
Felicity’s not sure how much time has passed since the Monitor lead her to Oliver in whatever sort of afterlife situation this is. Time goes by weird here. Oliver had offered to show her Mia and William, since he could watch over them. Felicity had been really tempted, obviously, but she was still adjusting. It was a little too much at the time.
They’ve been at Queen Consolidated for… however long it’s been. Oliver catches her up on a lot of what happened the five years he was on the island. He has to take a lot of breaks and there’s times he just stops talking randomly and gets a faraway look in his eyes. Felicity holds his hand and waits for him to come back to her.
She’s starting to wonder what’s on the outside of these four walls, though. And Oliver seems exhausted from reliving his trauma.
“So, about your powers,” she starts. “Can you change where we are? How does that even work?”
Oliver smiles for the first time in a while.
“Yeah. Like I said, I wanted it to be where I first saw you,” he says softly.
“Right. In your mom’s office while I was talking to myself and… oh, jeez. I was telling your picture how cute you were, and you heard. I could die right now,” she groans.
“You actually can’t,” he reminds her.
“That’s so weird,” she mumbles.
“If you don’t like it, I can change where we are,” he offers.
“It’s not that I don’t like it. Just— I kinda miss our house. Our bunker. The place you had when you were mayor. Hell, I even miss your mansion, which I never thought I’d say.”
“I guess we have been here for a while, huh? Sorry, I don’t notice anymore.”
Felicity doesn’t know how he does it, but suddenly they’re at their old house. Right back at the moment before Oliver had to leave. Felicity almost sobs immediately at the memory.
“I wish she was here,” she whispers.
“I wish I was there for her. I should’ve been there. I watched it all from here, but…” Oliver trails off.
“All these years and you still blame yourself,” Felicity says incredulously.
“I guess I haven’t changed.”
“I know something else that hasn’t changed.”
“Hm?”
“You still have great abs.”
Oliver laughs, and then kisses her. It’s wonderful.

willow - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 272
Felicity has a secret spot she goes to when she wants to be distracted. It was a secluded spot, trees surrounding a lake. Sometimes, she just sits by the water and focuses on the way the sun glitters on the lake as small waves ripple through. It quiets her brain.
It had been a tough week, with Oliver being his usual stubborn self. She'd left the bunker abruptly in the middle of an argument with him. She didn't even know where she was going until she ended up here.
She hears a soft huff of laughter behind her. Oliver.
"There was a spot like this on the island," he says softly.
She doesn't say anything back. He rarely talked about the island; she didn't want to say anything to make him stop.
"My first bow was made from willow wood," he tells her, sitting a couple steps away.
She sent him a puzzled look.
"There were a few willow trees near this… pond. It was a shipwreck." He clears his throat.
Felicity doesn't know that anything she would say to that wouldn't spoil the moment.
"How'd you find me?" she asks after a moment.
"Tracked you," he said simply.
Felicity scoffed.
"I'm sorry," he says. Felicity knows he doesn't mean tracking her.
"It's okay," she sighs. "I know you like… feeling in control."
"It's hard to let go of…" he trails off, unable to explain himself.
"I know," she says.
They sit in comfortable silence for a while. Felicity wishes she was surprised that his presence makes the spot even more calming. But he'd always been a source of comfort for her.

begging - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 503
It was basically her worst nightmare. What was supposed to be a nice, relaxing break from the craziness of her life had become some sort of social competition. She would rather have Slade's sword to her throat again, with no cure in her hand or Oliver coming to save her, than go on a girl's trip with her frenemies.
Felicity wondered if she had any real friends anymore. There were Oliver and Dig, but she's not sure they count. Oliver was a billionaire who was secretly a vigilante and Dig was… well, his bodyguard. On both fronts.
What was worse, every single one of her frenemies had plus ones. And Felicity had no one. Not even a guy friend who could…
Oh no. No, that was a spectacularly bad idea.
Unless it wasn't…?
Felicity resolved to bring it up next time Oliver asked for her help.
She had her head in the game while he was out in the field, helping him dodge a close call. She let out a relieved sigh when the bullet missed his shoulder. Dig and him made it back to the bunker safely, and Felicity yet again wondered how her life had become whatever this was.
"Hey," she said to him when they were alone. "I need a favor."
"Sure, what is it?" he replied, almost automatically.
Like he'd do anything she asked.
"You can say no," Felicity started off. "But I'm not above begging, I'm warning you right now."
"Felicity," he said firmly. "Whatever it is, I'm sure I can handle it."
"I need a plus one for a girls' trip. Which, I don't know why they called it a girls' trip if all of them are bringing their boyfriends; it's more like a couples' trip at that point— sorry," she said quickly.
"When is it?" he asked.
"This weekend," she said.
She hadn't expected that to be so easy. But Oliver just nodded and said he should start packing. Felicity was left in the foundry dumbstruck.
The hotel was really expensive. Felicity almost couldn't afford it, but she was really good at saving. She'd learnt that from her mom. She'd booked a room with two beds, obviously. Oliver carried her bags for her (which made her unreasonably happy).
"Okay, so we have lunch at this super fancy place. I can't even pronounce half of the things on this menu. Well, I could, 'cause I'm smart, but you know what I mean. You should probably come to that. But they're having a poolside thing later tonight, which you don't have to come to. It would probably be easier if I just sent you the itinerary," Felicity rambled.
"I won't leave your side," Oliver promised.
And he didn't. Not at lunch, when Felicity mumbled how much of a bitch Becky was being to him. Not at the pool, even though he opted to sit at one of the pool chairs. Not even when Becky staged a last-minute ball. No, he just danced with her, eyes fixed on her.

heaven - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 483
There are numerous points in his life that Oliver has to remind himself that there was still work to be done. That he can't hang up the hood. The mission isn't over until Star City is safe.
It won't be for years after he gets back from the island.
Out of all the ways Oliver had imagined his life ending, this isn't exactly it. But then, becoming a god-like figure isn't on anyone's death bingo card, is it? Heaven is monotonous for the most part. Oliver spends a while apologizing to everyone whose death he'd been the cause of first. Months, or something. Time is confusing in the afterlife. Old habits die hard… or don't die at all? Death is also a confusing concept to Oliver. He'd died, but then had come back as the Spectre. And then died again. But he could "come back" to Earth if the multiverse needed it. He almost hoped for some huge disaster to happen where Felicity was, but he knew that was impossible. He'd made it impossible.
It brings him some relief that she'd be here eventually, and that Star City was finally safe. In the meantime, Oliver makes conversation with the ones he loved that passed— the ones he couldn't bring back. He talks to his dad, mostly. Making up for lost time, arguing quite a bit (because Oliver didn't understand half the things he did). Eventually, Oliver realizes that they were beyond all of that— literally.
Oliver finds it easier to forgive himself every time he apologizes to Shado and she understands. It was an impossible choice, she'd said once. Sara had always said the same thing; it was easier coming from Shado, though. Yao Fei was wise as ever, and appreciated that Oliver now knew how to speak his mother tongue.
It's bittersweet seeing Maseo and Akio, but Akio was as energetic as ever. He plays games with Oliver for hours at a time, until Oliver is overcome with guilt and sadness.
Laurel is there, too. Black Siren wouldn't have become the hero she did if he'd saved Laurel. And some things he couldn't change, no matter how much he wanted to. They talk about Tommy, Sara, the "OG Team Arrow", as Felicity called it.
Sometimes Oliver wonders if any of these people were actually here, or if it's just versions of them he made up from his memory. He tries not to think about it too much.
Then, finally, The Monitor "summons" him, so to speak. He gives Oliver the news he'd been waiting to hear. So he constructs his father's old office and waits for Felicity to… appear? He isn't quite sure how it works; The Monitor was stingy about the details, as always.
And she walks in, gravitating toward the old picture of his father and him, chewing on the same old red pen.
We have all the time in the world…

apart - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 378
Dying is the easy part. Oliver's struggle is being able to watch everything that happened in flashes and know he could never be a part of any of it. He watches his children grow up in just a few minutes. He'll always be glad for the time the Monitor gave him with them, but how he wishes he could've been there to help them grow up. To watch them become the heroes they were.
It was like the time he was back in Starling City when everyone thought he was dead. At the time, he hadn't wanted the people he used to know to see the person he'd become. It's different now. He's at peace with everything he went through, with all the versions of himself he was. He had more of an understanding of how it helped him get to where he was.
The time spent apart from Felicity is the hardest part. Watching her go through the lows of her life without being able to help her makes him want to crawl out of his skin. He watches her best moments and hopes she knows how proud he is of her. Twenty years goes by, so slowly.
And finally, she's there with him again.
So now, at least he gets to watch over his loved ones accompanied by the person who means the most to him.
And they watch their children settle into their lives— William as CEO of his own tech company, Mia finding her purpose as the new Green Arrow. They both have wonderful lives, and are heroes in their own way.
It's strange watching them at the Green Arrow statue of himself.
"You were a hero," Felicity tells him softly. "And you inspired so many people to follow your lead."
"Did I do the right thing?" Oliver asks her. "Introducing the darkness back into their lives? I know I couldn't keep Star City safe forever, but—"
"They deserve the chance to become heroes, if they choose to," Felicity cut him off gently. "We can't keep them in a bubble forever."
She always knows the right thing to say. He'd missed that.
"They'll be okay," she says.
"How do you know?" he asks.
"Genetics," Felicity shrugs, giving him a teasing smile.
Oliver smiles back.

fire - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 275
There were a lot of times in the bunker where Felicity or someone close to her has been close to death. It was usually Oliver, but sometimes it was Dig or another member of the team. This life was difficult for a number of reasons. She still remembered the first time she couldn't save someone.
If you ever need to tell someone about your day, you can tell me, Oliver had said.
She took him up on that offer a few times. But eventually, Felicity got used to it. The truth was, she was more removed from it all than the rest of the team. Sometimes, when she was feeling left out or needed to be on-site for one reason or the other, she would go out into the field, sure. But even then, she was never in the thick of the action.
When it was Merlyn and Slade they were going up against, things were different. It was mostly just Oliver and Dig going out in the field. Oliver was mainly the one running into explosions and jumping from rooftops.
Now, there was a whole team backing Oliver, and honestly, Felicity preferred that. It also meant more people were at risk, which Felicity knew was the main reason Oliver didn't want to recruit a new team after the whole Damien Dhark Trying to Blow Up the City (and Maybe the World) Fiasco. Oliver had always thought that he had to take the brunt of it. But he didn't always have to walk into the fire alone. Something Felicity was never able to convince him of.
Even when the fire would kill him this time.

unbroken - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 366
The days Oliver came back to Starling City when he was "dead" for five years was clear in his memory for a number of reasons. Seeing his family and friends coping with his death was painful. He wanted nothing more than to run to Thea and hug her. The thought of hugging anyone made Oliver nauseous— except for his baby sister.
She wasn't a baby anymore. Oliver hadn't gotten to see her grow.
He remembered seeing Tommy scold Thea for buying drugs, saying he was glad Oliver was gone so he wouldn't have to see what had become of his little sister. So much for that.
Oliver was filled with rage then, and he was out for blood.
It wasn't his proudest moment, and he would later add that to his long list of regret.
Seeing his life from the outside, the effect his absence had on everyone he loved, was strange. Tommy was so different, and yet the same. Still that same party boy. Oliver was glad to see him try to kick Thea out. Just because he and Oliver had spent the better part of their high school and college years partying, wasted, or hungover, didn't mean Thea had to. He wished he could talk to them. To Laurel. Maseo dragged him away and gave him a lecture he was very used to.
Walking back into Queen Consolidated was weird, too. He was supposed to go into his father's office and grab data from his computer. He half expected to see his father in that chair, staring out the window. Obviously, that wasn't possible. He shook the memories from his mind and plugged in the USB.
That was the night he met Felicity.
Everything around him since the island went to shit. Everyone seemed different, damaged— including Oliver.
He didn't know her name, only that she was light and life itself. She was funny and… really cute. For a second, Oliver forgot where he was. It was just them— a broken soul and an unbroken one.
Maseo's voice on comms jolted him back into action.
Oliver thought, if he ever made it out of this and back to Starling, he would find her again.

treacherous - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 176
Felicity is aware that this is a terrible idea. She shouldn’t be giving into the tension between them. She shouldn’t be free-falling, because it’ll hurt so much when she finally hits the ground. Maybe she’ll go right to rock bottom. Part of her hates that Oliver would even give it a chance, because she knows it won’t last. But she’s here, next to him, hoping he’ll stay. Hoping he won’t sneak smoothly out the window like she knows he can.
“Stay,” she breathes out. Almost involuntarily.
She hopes he didn’t hear.
She feels his arms wrap around her. The way her treacherous heart flutters makes her hate him. Not that she could ever really hate him.
“I’m not going anywhere,” he whispers.
“Promise me?” she whispers back.
She means more than just today. She knows he knows that.
He parts their bodies just enough to cup her face. So he can look her in the eyes when he makes his promise.
“I won’t walk away this time,” he vows quietly.
Felicity seals it with a kiss.

last kiss - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 169
How can you let the love of your life walk out of it? How can you let him walk towards death? Felicity crumples to the floor asking herself these questions. She knows it’s just as hard for Oliver, walking away from Mia. She wonders why the universe keeps tearing them apart.
They get engaged and she gets shot.
They get married and someone tries to send Oliver to prison.
They finally have a happy moment, Felicity finally lets herself believe in a future with him— one without the risks that come with being the Green Arrow— and a freaking God comes and tells them he’s going to die.
And yet, when Oliver tells her, “My only regret is not telling you I loved you sooner.”
She shakes her head. “No regrets.”
She tells herself the same thing over the years, until she can be reunited with him again. She’ll replay their last kiss over and over in her mind, reminding herself that she’s glad to have had that love.

seven - olicity - @taylorswiftmicrofic - word count: 212
It’s easy to be upset with Oliver sometimes. Like when she knocks on his hotel room door and Isabel Rochev walks out and makes a snide comment about “giving her the night off”. Felicity has the sudden urge to punch her in the face, or stab her. It was bad enough that everyone at Queen Consolidated gossiped about the two of them. But Oliver has to sleep with her, too? What, so she can spread more rumors?
“Felicity—” Oliver says.
Felicity doesn’t let him finish.
“What happens in Russia stays in Russia,” she says. Then more to herself, “Even when it makes no sense whatsoever.”
It was her fault, really. Seven billion people on the planet and she just had to go and fall in love with him. But it seriously made no sense. She knows Oliver. She knows he isn’t the same playboy that got on the Queen’s Gambit. She knows he wants something more than casual. And she knows he’d be uncomfortable sleeping with someone he doesn’t trust. After everything that happened on the island, with all his scars, she doesn’t blame him. She’d probably fix anyone who did with a glare that could rival Oliver’s sharp arrows.
What is it about her that makes him trust her over Felicity?
