Spectral Ranger
Choosing ghosts as your chosen quarry is no meagre undertaking - but they ain’t afraid.
[ ] Spectral Familiar – You are accompanied by the ghost of an animal – you may choose any small woodland creature or any domesticated animal. Give it a name. It is incapable of interacting with the material world, but fully capable of interacting with the astral world. It is very well trained and is loyal and obedient towards you.
[ ] Ecto-Tip Arrows – You can enchant a quiver so that while you wear it, all the arrows inside become coated at their tip in a thin layer of ectoplasm, allowing them to harm ghosts and other spectral or ephemeral beings as well as corporeal ones.
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] Geistfletch – When you nock an arrow, you can enchant it by whispering to it, allowing it to pass through walls and other solid objects. You must choose the amount of objects it will pass through before you loose the shot, and may choose up to 3 per level of Geistfletch.
[ ][ ] Arrowstep – By making a sudden motion with your hand and focusing on an arrow that you've shot, you cause that arrow to shatter and teleport into its current position. At first level you can only target arrows that are still in flight, and at second level can target any arrow you have fired in the past day.
[ ] Haunted Gaze – One of your eyes is visibly altered, either greyed out, permanently bloodshot, or otherwise made to look eery or unnatural. This is a side effect of an enchantment allowing it to see into the astral plane. To the vision of your enchanted eye, the material world is a translucent haze and only spectral entities are in focus, even ones that would ordinarily be invisible.
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] Ghostwire – By plucking a hair from your head and whispering an incantation, you can stretch it into a strong wire up to 15 feet in length per level of Ghostwire. This wire is capable of interacting with ghosts as if they were corporeal.
[ ] Precautionary Possession – You are bonded to a weak, largely benign spirit in order to help you cope with the spectral world. Decide with your GM what kind of spirit or spectre is haunting you, and what their personality is. You can use your spirit to allow you to physically interact with incorporeal things, or to grant you a d6 bonus to interacting with spirits and ghosts. Most importantly, as the ghost is occupying your body and is magically bonded to you, you are immune to all other forms of possession. If you have used any of the advantages given to you by your spirit since the start of the previous session, and not done anything to repay your spirit, they are capable of imposing a -1 penalty on any and all of your rolls until they are in some way repaid for their services.
