i’ve been thinking about this all day at work but i like to imagine that after riku reaches out for sora in ddd and has the moment of

oh he’s not actually there

and pulls away, that in the moment where sora is all excited to see him and hugging him after waking up

that riku reaches back out for his face again and just being able to feel the warmth from his cheek and having sora safe and in front of him, all happy to see riku is safe as well, he just melts into it, feeling content and happy to have sora in his life and can be near him like this
