Camryn, while understanding the responsibilities of being a princess, also enjoys the perks of great dresses and tiaras.  Alex is more into getting to attend college, but she’s down for dressing up for the wedding at the end.

I do like the cream and golden garb Miranda and Aron wear when doing the wedding ceremony for Karsh and Illena.  It’s very idealized for Aron to be brought back, but I don’t mind the idea of there being a reality out there where he gets to spend more time with his wife and twins.

Among others, David and Emily attended the wedding; Emily’s jacket and hat are great.  I am hopeful that the twins’ adoptive and biological families can happily coexist.  Though it’s slightly odd that the Barnes play a larger role in the adaptation where the twins are college-aged compared to the books where they’re high schoolers.

Miranda is the beautiful queen of the magical dimension, Coventry. Her first husband is Aron. Miranda is also the biological mother of Alex and Camryn. She was born on the night of an eclipse. Therefore, Miranda is connected to the sun and moon. Her second husband is Thantos, who she most likely married as a gesture of goodwill and politics upon believing her family was dead. Miranda is a stirn and powerful ruler. She makes harsh decisions, which include great sacrifice, but she believes it's for the good of her people. Unfortunately, Miranda is also quite gullible. She's easily fooled into believing her husband and daughters are dead without evidence, like seeing their corpses. Despite this, Miranda is a sentimental woman who loves her family.

backstory. 

persephone dubaer is the daughter of camryn and demitri from twitches / twitches princess camryn was quick to fall for demitri upon meeting, despite the fact he lied about his identity. pretending to be a magic-wielding prince rather than a kitchen-boy in the castle. 

soon after thantos was defeated for a second time and demitri’s powers were returned to him, the two settled down together. camryn and demitri hopped in-between worlds, the two exploring an evil free coventry and camryn showing off the human world to demitri.

it wasn’t long before the two settled down in coventry where they gave birth to twins on october 31st much as her mother had. the twins possessing the power of the sun and moon. 

persephone was the youngest of the twins and therefore was dubbed the daughter of the sun. 

she was named after the greek goddess persephone to honor the fact her mother’s real name is apolla aka the female version of apollo. her middle name erin is a female version of her grandfather aron’s name and the last name dubaer was taken on to honor their lineage. 

persephone grew up in conventry as a princess and was taught personally by her grandmother, miranda. her mother also taught her how to become confident in using her powers. 

growing up, persephone had vivid dreams of worlds that she knew nothing of and would often sketch the people and things she saw so that she wouldn’t forget them. but there came a point where she preferred her dreams over reality.

her art inspired her to test out other mediums such as writing where she would come up with stories based on the sketches she drew. writing soon became her next best escape. 

once her eighteenth birthday was approaching, she begged her mother to let her take a portal into the human world where she could go to school and pursue her dreams of becoming a published writer one day. 

the human world was a refreshing and captivating change for the girl, but she still felt as if she didn’t really belong in either worlds.
