It’s All Greek To Me

A/N: So this story is shining a light on not one but two characters Adonis and Aron!
"Adonis, watch your footwork..."   Achilles grumbled, looking down at the young warrior, his foot placement off  his body hunched over as his eyes passed on a few women walking by, "Your father nor Athena would be proud of you." he sighed, watching as Adonis turned to look back at him,
"I heard nothing of what you said..."
"As usual." Achilles laughed, holding onto his sword, " Women will be the same thing that gets you killed..." he looked at Adonis, perching himself on the column, "I doubt that... For I have no weaknesses..." Adonis laughed, his piercing blue eyes telling a lie that he had yet known existed, "Even the Gods have weaknesses, Tripolakis."  he lunged forward as the other man blocked, "You'll just have to find it." Adonis looked at him a bit confused,
"You sound crazier than my father, who believes me to be king of Greece like him."
"Is Zeus not the king of the Gods,"
"Yes."
"And are you not of Artemis..."
"What do you speak of..."
"I've said too much." Achilles gasped, "Before you ask, I can not give you the answers of which you seek." he sighed as Adonis stormed off into the palace.  Columns and paintings lined the halls as handmaids and servants moved out of the prince's rage. "What is Achilles going on about..." Adonis growled, his eyes becoming stormy like Poseidon's seas. Manolis, his father, only laughed as Varsia, his mother looked on in terror,
"What all did he tell you..."
"That I am of Artemis... " Adonis tensed up as Manolis chuckled, "That's foolish..." his dark curls shaking with every roar of his laughter, "You are the son of a king."  he stood up to approach his son, "The son of me, the son of Greece!" Manolis smirked, "You will bring Greece to victory just as my father before me." Adonis stood back from his father's grasp as he locked eyes with his mother. As the night fell upon Greece Adonis was restless, he wanted to blame it on the wine he had consumed or the countless women Adonis had ravished ever so great, but he couldn't. His mind only focused on what his father said and what Achilles had said. Walking out towards the balcony, he could see the stars, which were always his favorite.
They reminded him that he was never alone in the world and that the Gods were smiling upon him.
"Almighty Zeus, if you're listening, send me a sign to guide me as to what I should do." his bow and cape in the corner of his chambers as he laughed,  "Funny..." he rolled his eyes, walking away from the items until a thunderbolt followed suit towards them,
"I see you were serious..."
"Talking to the Gods again..." Adonis jumped, watching as his mother stood behind him, "You'll need this on your journey..." Varsia smiled,
"It's the symbol of Apollo. It'll get you between realms..."
"Realms..."
"I haven't much time to explain..."  she sighed. The two walk towards the stables, saddling up,  "I can only get you but so far to Olympus, but they can get you to Asgard."
"Mother, you're not making sense."
"You'll know when you'll get there." she kissed his forehead, sending him on his way.
"He's on his way..." Hermes announced, watching from the grounds of the kingdom that was Olympus. Fixtures of silver graced the mountains as the Gods all came to surround their messenger. "A bit early. isn't he..." Chronos responded as Aphrodite chuckled, "Zeus isn't going to like this one bit..."  her arms crossed,
"Besides, he harnesses no exceptional powers and-"  an arrow shot her way as the goddess looked towards Athena, who then pointed towards Artemis. Her arms folded against her person,
 "Apollo, send him away..."
"Again..." he sighed, looking at her, "But..."
"Send him away!" she commanded. Apollo nodded, opening a portal to another realm, one called.
"Vanaheim," Astrid laughed, her dark hair braided dressed in green. " You must not be from here..." she eyed the man's armor. It resembles those of a Greek warrior watching as he rubbed his head, "I must've fallen hard." he mumbled, looking around, surrounded by grass, land, deer, " A palace..."  he squinted, "And those are clouds, and this is a tree." she sassed, using her powers to help him stand,
"And you are..."  he smirked, kissing her hand.
"Taken by Loki." she winked, removing her hand from his lips. "Come along, let's get you dressed..." walking into the palace, Adonis was taken by the beauty of colors and nature combined. It was as if Persephone and Artemis had both come together to create such a palace.
"Aron!" Astrid called out,
"What do you want? Can't you see I'm busy painting-"
he dropped the brush, his eyes on the stranger.
"This is Adonis ... could you dress him."
"Perhaps..." Aron smiled at Adonis, gesturing for him to follow him, "Oh and Astrid..." he watched his younger sister turn, "Yes, Aron..." she responded, her amulet glistening in the sun, "Isabasia and Thor are still waiting for your blessing..." Astrid only groaned, rolling her eyes as she marched off towards the throne room.  Adonis's eyes wandered over the prince's figure as he was a bit lean yet graceful. He had a smile brighter than Apollo's sun and eyes that twinkled like the stars.
"Draw him a bath and wrap him in the finest of fabrics," Aron commanded the servants as Adonis looked at the prince, "Such power for someone so young."  he commented as Aron chuckled, making Adonis's heart melt, "Oh, I am anything but young... " he sat atop of his bed watching the servants usher Adonis towards the bathtub,
"So tell me..." Adonis cleared his throat, "About yourself."  Aron laughed, undressing into his training armor, "Well, I'm a prince, I'm cursed, and the love of my life tried to kill me." he shrugged as Adonis laughed,
"Women are a weakness to you too, huh."
"And men..." Aron mumbled, seeing Adonis's figure from the mirror a lump in his throat. He had the body of God, a sculpture even, and yet it was lounging in his tub. "Where I'm from, warriors bathe together..."  he turned to look at Aron, his cheeks turning rosy,
"I should let you relax... uh peacefully." Aron ran out.
Adonis sighed, basking in the sun closing his eyes. " Great Aphrodite, what have  I done wrong... " he asked as he heard a light giggle, golden curls falling on top of his head as she squeezed his shoulder, "Terrible subtly..." she then paced in front of him,
"Too forward... and you've only just met the God."
"G-God..." he gulped, as she nodded, "Of nature, strength, and harvest."  Aphrodite chuckled,
 "How do you know this..."
"Am I not a goddess myself..." she handed him a towel as he stood there awkwardly,
 "Uhm..."
"I crafted you to look like that..."  she rolled her eyes, "Well, I'll be on my way." she smiled, leaving his presence. Later that night, Aron sat in the gardens of the kingdom, his hand petting an owl, watching his sister and her fiance braiding stems into flower crowns.
"You know stars tell us we're not alone in the world..." Adonis said, startling the prince as he spoke, "Did I scare you.." Aron looked up at him, "Yes... Yes, you did..." he glared at the warrior now dressed in traditional Vanir attire, "And my owl friend..."
"Sorry about that..."
"Why did you come here..." Aron asked, leaning in closer towards him, "Power, money, or my Mother sent you...."  a dagger under his throat as Adonis looked up at him, pretty brown eyes glistening in rage,  "I was sent here by the Gods... " he stuttered as Aron rolled his eyes,
"Sorry to tell you, this isn't Valhalla..." he growled as Adonis's heart raced faster,
"No, Olympus ..."
"Oh, you have a lot to learn."
"Try to catch up!" Isabasia smirked, nearly tossing him around the training arena, "Hey, you should be lucky, you aren't sparring against her..." she pointed towards her sister, who had Thor pinned to the ground. "How can I when you have an ax at my head." he ducked, missing it right on time, "You just did." her hand on her hips as she threw a bow at him, Adonis catching it as he made an arrow appear in his hand.  "I always preferred archery," he breathed, letting the string go as it zipped through the sky, Aron catching it in his hands as Adonis waved back. Both Astrid and Isabasia looking at him.
" I see..."
"You see what, Astrid..."  Adonis blushed, his dark brown hair longer with a few braided strands. " You're in love with our brother..." she smirked,
 "I..."
"Hesitated, " Thor mentioned, holding his soon-to-be bride close.
"Fine... yes... by the grace of Cupid, I like him..."  he pouted, a love-sick look in his eyes.
"Who's cupid?"
"Freya..."  Isabasia informed him.
"If you want to impress a loved one..." Astrid looked over to Loki, sending a kiss his way, "Try being more gentle but brave, charming you're a prince, use it." she shrugged. "Does her advice usually work?"  Both Thor and Isabasia chuckled, "She may be the goddess of chaos, but she's right about love." She pecked Thor on the lips as Adonis rolled his eyes.
Night fell, and Aron was sitting in the grass next to Loki,  rambling about his 90th time reading much ado about nothing,
Which he tended to rant about Shakespear when Astrid was busy around the palace to listen, " And then-"  Aron nodded as he looked over, seeing Adonis waiting patiently for him. "I believe Astrids returned to her chambers," Adonis mentioned, pointing to her now lit room.
"Thanks..."
"No worries." he smiled, "Is the seat taken..."
"All yours." Aron smiled, sliding his hand on top of his, "See, you've been training a bit..."  he touched one of his muscles as Adonis flexed, "It's nothing. I used to train with all the greats, even the Amazons."  Aron looked at him, then at his lips, "You don't say." he watched as Adonis got closer, his hand resting on the Vanir's cheek, "Oh, but I do."
"You know I have a thing... for warriors..." he whispered as Adonis pulled him closer,
"You don't say..."
"Oh, but I do..."
"Damnit, will you two just kiss already!" both Loki and Astrid grumbled from the window, the two eavesdropping.
"Perhaps we can take this to Asgard... We'll be ALONE there."

Where Secrets are Kept (Part 3 of Home)

A/N: Introducing a new character!
"Is that everyone, Heimdall..." Astrid asked, watching as everyone piled around in the palace of Vanaheim. "I believe so," he mumbled, a smile forming under his intimidating features, watching the young princess tend to Asgardians as well as her people. "Blanket..." she offered, conjuring as many as she could as her mother watched in the shadows, unimpressed. "I remember when you were in her shoes..." Heimdall mentioned as Amidala scoffed, "She is still reckless in her ways..." she laughed, "Careless even." Her expression changed as she looked down at the hem of her dress,
"Were you not those things too..."
"Tread carefully. You talk to your queen..." She snarled,
"You know Tola's death wasn't your fault, by the way..." Heimdall mentioned as he walked off, "And neither was the other incident...",
"I'm going to be here for you through it all." Astrid smiled,  making a butterfly appear from her hands. Looking at the emerald and gold ring on her finger as a sigh left her lips,  "Even if it cost my life..." she mumbled.
"Thor, this is useless... " Bruce sighed, "If I go, green then I won't be able to ..." he sighed, "Change back."
"Can't Abby fix it..." Isabella sighed, putting her hair in a ponytail, "Or something of that matter," she asked as Valkyrie whistled,
"And I don't have my hammer to fight with!"  Thor turned as Isabella went to pilot the ship. Saakar had been an eventful week, day, years? Months even for the four heading to Asgard,
"You don't have a hammer!" Isabella laughed, "You're worried about a measly cursed hammer your daddy gave you." she scoffed, "I don't even know if I have a family still! Let alone the fact your bitch of a sister took most of my powers! and yet you moan about a stupid hammer!" her blood boiling over as she nearly shook, Thor, got quiet looking at his beloved afraid to calm her down,
"And I thought I had a bad temper..."
"SHUT UP, BANNER!"
In the distance was the ever so welcoming golden palace, the center, and heart of Asgard. Although it was empty and everything left was dying and or dead, there in the deepest darkest parts sat in a dungeon was Odin's longest forgotten treasure. Hela sighed, scoffing at the emptiness almost as if her beloved father had gotten soft over the years. Using the eternal flame as her light, she trailed deeper until a gentle melody passed her ears, a song that she remembered in her youth, but this time, it was sad and haunting, almost like a cry for,
"Hela... it's been a while!"
"Sodonson..." Hela questioned, "I thought you were dead..."
"Eh, well... I tried Frigga wouldn't let me die so." he shrugged, "Been wasting away..." he laughed his eyes dark with hurt,
"Sad, really..." she laced her fingers up against the button, "But maybe you can get your revenge." he watched her hand nearly press down. "Yes..." he smiled, his palms shaking with anticipation. "But there's a catch," she leaned in, taking a glance into his eyes, "Do everything I say, and I won't kill you..." she smiled. "Have we got a deal..."
"Deal..." he fell over, falling into her arms, as she put a chain collar around his neck, " Come along now..."  she pulled as he trailed behind like a dog.
"You're doing it all wrong!" Amidala sighed, "Can you ever do anything right, Aron!" she glanced at Astrid as she looked up, "I mean you..."  the queen began to back away, her daughter, puzzled at the reaction,
"Who's Aron..."
"Just magic more soups..."  she mumbled, trying to push past her.
"Tell me who he is..."
"HE'S NO ONE TO ME ... Just go!" Astrid backed away, running off as Heimdall caught her. "They're back..." he handed her: Her crossbow and Amulet. Astrid turned to look at her mother, "She'll be fine..."
Isabella swung her sword, her armor glistening amongst the Bifrost bridge slicing dead soldiers alongside Valkyrie, kicks, and punches between the two teaming up against the undead, "Isabasia! "  Valkyrie turned to see her face pressed against the bridge, "Go without me!" she shouted, "And go find Thor!" she struggled to try to get up as several of them pinned her down, Isabella curled into a ball awaiting sweet death until, "What the hell..."
A hue of blue passed her eyes as the zombie soldiers flew off from the bridge and into the water, as a Golden arrow shot in one of their heads. Standing there in the armor of gold and a cape of blue was "Astrid..." she stood up weakly, her sister's eyes a light purple, more zombies approaching,  "I've got this..." she stepped down as a force field surrounded her,
Fellow Asgardians and Vanir gathered round to fight as Isabella heard the sound of one of the grandmasters' ships arrive, the plan that they hadn't been waiting for,
"Did you miss me, everyone on that ship now!"
"Welcome home. I saw you coming." Heimdall smirked, gold horns making themselves loudly but gracefully known as always.  He nodded as he walked by, daggers ready for anything coming directly his way. "Astrid, watch out!" Isabella shouted. As her sister tried to reload her crossbow back towards the enemy, "Damned thing..." she mumbled, a sword pressed against her back, dropping her weapon. Astrid closed her eyes, hearing their bodies fall,
"Always to my rescue as I'm in yours."
"Glad to know you're alright, darling." Loki smiled as he stabbed another zombie, tossing his daggers. As the fighting continued, Thor laid on top of the balcony, his eye missing and Hela looming over him, "Aron, get me a spear..." Hela growled, glaring at him like a hawk to its prey. Thor turned to look at his people,
"Tell me, brother, what were you the God of again..."
Astrid threw her tiara, beheading a few as she stood side by side to her sister Isabasia. Thor laughed as a lightning gleam filled his eye, some coming from his hand, lighting shooting from the palace catching the attention of Isabella. "Thor..."  she mumbled, "Go to him!" Astrid smiled, blasting a few goons alongside Loki and Heimdall. Isabella ran up the halls as she saw Hela. And her new goon taking her sword, Hela stunned her as the goon came behind her taking his chance, lightning striking down on Hela. "Thor..." the two both said as he sprung right into action. Loki smirked, looking up towards Thor as Hulk and Astrid now had their separate battles.
"You're going to need this..." The goon smiled, handing Isabella a gold necklace.
"Where did you find this..."
"I'll explain later," he shrugged, "Don't die."  he ran out, doing a backflip landing in front of "Valkyrie..." he blushed hard, her sword under his chin, "You're alive..."  She moved him out the way, throwing a punch. Isabella looked up at Thor, stabbing a few more goons while Thor electrocuted a few. " Go!" he looked at her, "I'm not leaving you!" dragon flames coming from her hands. The ship took off, passing above their head Loki flying towards the palace,
"You help Thor. I'm going back in."
"You're foolish, Sodonson," Valkyrie winked, dodging  Hela's blades.
"We've got to hurry, Loki!" Astrid ran down Odin's hall of things he stole. "Get Surtur's crown... and." she stopped her eyes falling on a golden sword as if it were calling to her, placing her hand on it, she picked it up stretching out her arm as it turned into a whip, "Back away from the Tesseract ..."  she glanced over at Loki as he gave her a sneaky smile,
"I think you'll want to exit this way." Aron smiled.
"The people are safe. That's all that matters..." Isabella, Hulk, Thor, and Valkyrie  stood watching as Surtur destroyed Hela and Asgard from the ship,
"Asgard is not a place. It's a people..."
"Tony..." Isabella smiled, "Do you mind... if a few friends stayed over," Tony looked as he saw Valkyrie, Aron, Astrid, and Loki, his welcoming facial expression dropping at the last two,
"They tried to kill me... Remember, Loki green hot one threw me out a WINDOW!" he then looked at Astrid, "She cursed an entire city... and who's the other guy..." Aron cleared his throat as he smiled,
" I would be her brother... oldest brother..." he took a bottle of Tony's fine whiskey, drinking it all in under a second.
"Woah woah hey hey, were you raised in a dungeon!"
"Actually, yes, he was," Astrid laughed, changing her armor into pajamas, "What are you doing..."
"Wait, what are you doing..."
"I believe it's what you call a... sleepover." Loki sat with Astrid. He conjured a blanket.
"THOR!"
"TONY!" he kissed his cheek.
"What the hell happened to your eye!"
"HELA." they all shouted in unison.

It’s All Greek To Me 2

A/N: NEW CHARACTERS
"She's hurt..." Sif looked at Thor, looking over the features of the young woman. She was pale with dark brown hair, Greek and Roman face structure, a marking on her wrist, and a necklace of Egyptian gold around her neck. "See to it that she's well." Thor smirked as Sif blushed at the unconscious woman, "Thor, I don't understand what you..." she groaned, seeing that the God was gone.
"This is Asgard..." Adonis gasped, his eyes focused on all the golden fixtures and deities who passed by now and then. "It's close to Valhalla, so the Aesir take pride in it." Aron laughed. As they walked through the crowded city, maneuvering through people, they could hear the distant voice of Hermod. "Hear me well, Aesir's!" as he then saw Aron, "And Vanir..." Adonis looking at him as he looked similar to Apollo, which was odd considering that he, for the longest time, thought that the mere concept of higher deities existing were merely just fairytales parents told their children to never worry.
" Asgard will finally have his king!" Hermod smiled as another God whispered in his ear, "We will have two kings... One from Midgard and a Vanir queen..." Aron chuckled as Adonis stood in confusion, "My sister and her two lovers are to rule, to translate the situation."  Back in the palace stood Astrid studying spell books left by Frigga, her emerald ring glistening under the nightfall stars as the sound of wind blew by her ears, causing her to shiver. As her amulet sparkled, she flicked her wrist, pinning what she hoped to be her opponent down.  "Someones, been practicing their spells..."
"Mother..." she kept reading, "What are you doing visiting from Vahalla?"  her tone still cold towards the woman, "I heard the news," Amidala broke from the grasp of the spell. "Isabasia, Thor, and Stark are ruling as Asgard."  she sighed, "It was bound to happen. " she laughed,
"Just as you dying and I never getting a throne, but..."
"Astrid, you're the next ruler of Vanaheim." Astrid dropped the book as her body nearly froze,
"I've watched you conduct yourself at the realm gatherings, and it's time I gave you credit." she sighed,
"Oh my, the woman with so little faith waits until death to appoint her daughter, which she lied to about nearly EVERYTHING!"
"And I am sorry..." Amidala sighed, "I should have trusted you more than I should have-"
"Listened to me, never locked me away in a tower, never lied about me being the oldest, protected Aron, and never sent Isabasia away!" her eyes violet.
"I shouldn't have... and I am sorry." Amidala approached her daughter for a hug. Astrid sighed, taking in her mother's scent of roses,
"Tell Loki Odin sends his best wishes as ruler of Jotunheim." disappearing into the Bifrost back, Astrid watched in disbelief at the news.
"Astrid... are you alright..."
"You're a king..."
"Who are you... and why am I here..." the warrior woman asked, her sword drawn at Sif's neck, watching as she flipped it out of her hand, "Lady Sif of the warriors 3, you were wounded." she smiled, "Your turn."  the young mortal smirked, "Ethereal you are... I am Katina Fausta of Athens, protector to Andonis, faithful servant of Athena and lover of women." she winked watching as Sif's face began to flush,
"And my has Saphos and Aphrodite blessed you so,"  Katina remarked, watching the other warrior falter for words, "Do you drink?"
"Is Dionysus a party God?"
"I'll take that as a yes."
The Taverns of Asgard were cozy with a fireplace Gods and Goddesses and people alike all enjoying mead and ale feast fit for kings with the view of New Asgard, some areas still being built others held together by magic.
"So, have you enjoyed your stay in Vanaheim..." Aron asked, waving his hand around ordering two drinks, "That I have." Adonis smiled back at the prince, kissing his hand, "Your people have been ever so kind." he laughed, his Greek features soft under the flames that lit the path. "Are yours not so kind," Aron asked, holding onto his hand.
" it's complicated... my father wants me to be this warrior and this king, and my mother is this gentlewoman, and my rightful mother is a Goddess, so I don't know who I'm supposed to be. Adonis sighed, looking away from Aron, his eyes falling upon a warrior woman drinking what seemed to be her troubles.
"Oh great..."  Aron groaned. A tight pain in his heart formed as the memories of the pair began to flood, "Is everything alright." Adonis asked, his deep voice bringing the Vanir back to reality, "Oh, just my ex... Valkyrie." he laughed, "Who broke my heart..." he nearly chugged down his goblet of mead. "Sounds lovely... excuse me for a moment." Adonis got up, making his way towards the infamous Valkyrie hiding behind a wooden pillar that was until he heard the voice of,
"Katina Fausta of Athens..." she walked towards Valkyrie, dressed in Asgardian leather. "May I buy you a drink." her voice smooth like silk, "I don't know, how many are you willing to buy," Valkyrie asked, eyeing the foreigner,
"Enough to get a taste of this Valhalla everyone speaks of."
"Deal, but only if Sif joins." she gestured the warrior over as Katina nodded, "Three is but a party and close to an orgy," she smirked, wrapping her arms around both their waist. Adonis waited at the perfect moment to attack, hands reaching out two blades pointed at his neck.
"He means us no harm." Katina smiled, "He is but my friend." she stood up to hug him. Both Valkyrie and Sif nodded at the man as the two went back to their drinks. "Excuse us for a moment..." Adonis said, ushering Katina away. Dolding two cups of ale in hand, Katina kept her eyes focused on Adonis,
"Why are you here..."
"Why are you here?" Katina smirked, her eyes on the prince, "Did you chase another pretty woman as she tricked you and sent you here or..." she looked over his shoulder as she noticed a handsome young man waving at her friend,
"Oh, I see..."
"You see absolutely nothing." he blushed, "I won't tell if you don't tell." she patted him on the back, "Does Artemis know about this..." he stiffened up,
"You knew about that..."
"I'm a servant of Athena. I know everything..." she winked, fixing her sword on her hip holster. "Then does your mother know about them..." he asked back as Katina stood there in silence. She knew her mother was a traditionalist when it came to weakness, and her love of women she hated it, but on Asgard, it was as if they were praised for being a warrior with flaws and a sharp tongue.
"No, and I hope that she'll never find out Tripolakis..." she huffed, "Now, if you'll excuse me... I should head back." she sighed, sitting between her newfound lovers.
"Perhaps we should see the palace." Adonis whispered in Aron's ear as Aron laughed, "And still have no peace from my sisters and their betrothed. " Adonis shrugged, " I don't mind an audience." he laughed, hearing Aron sigh, "Not like that, Adonis... "
"Darling... please try to slow down.'' Loki sighed, kissing his beloved Astrids hand. "My mother told me to tell you that Odin well wishes you luck as king of the Jotuns."  she looked up at him, sitting in between his legs, as he chuckled, "And only moments away from our wedding." he laughed, "I've ahold to my birthright.'' he kissed her cheek as Astrid laughed, "I'm the next queen of Vanahiem... I'm the next queen..." Astrid gulped as feminine hands rubbed her own, "You'll be devilishly good at it." she whispered in Astrid's ears. Loki watched as the blood rushed to her cheeks,
"You rule my heart. surely you can rule a kingdom." She smiled, her long black hair draping over Astrids,  "Brother- Sister, we have company." Thor barged in as Loki glared, "Must you not know what knocking is..." she grumbled, using her magic to conjure up both Astrid and her a more presentable wardrobe of outfits.  Thor sighed, sitting on his fathers' throne, the memory of him still there.  "I see you are better." he smiled as Katina nodded, "Sif took care of me well." she smiled, as Adonis laughed, "She took care of Sif too... And your Valkyrie," he mumbled under his breath as Isabasia fumbled refraining from laughter.  Katina then smirked as her eyes reached the view of the Goddess in green accompanied by who she thought was perhaps a friend.
"Aren't you beautiful..." she covered her mouth, as Loki chuckled at the young woman's words, "You are a pure vision of lust and beauty." she kissed her hand as Loki looked at Thor annoyingly,
"My pet, as much as this flatters me... My beloved would have you beheaded." She smiled as Adonis pulled Katina away, "Your lover, well, he  sounds toxic..."
"Oh, I'm the absolute same for her," Loki smirked, transforming back as he pulled Astrid closer.
"Oh, a shapeshifter..." Katina smiled,

A/N : Yes I made a sleepover fic yes it’s angsty and yes meet Aron Sodonson and is sad backstory! This is apart of the home series

"I thought you said you knew how to get inside?" Fandral pouted. "Yeah, well, that was a lie!" Aron shouted back, the two racing down the woods of Vanaheim that connected to Asgard, hooves trotting down coming across a young girl, her brown hair flowing as she got off her horse, "Fandral, you're late..." she huffed, watching as the young boy rolled his eyes,
"Sorry..." he road by sitting next to her horse Aragorn,
"And you are..."
Aron gulped as he looked down at his feet, then at her, "Aron Sodonson, Prince of Vanaheim ...I think." he shrugged, "Vanir... Odin doesn't like your kind, right now..." the young girl giggled,
 "And why's that..."
"Your mother brutally killed the All-Father's father." she shrugged.
Aron laughed, sitting behind Valkyrie braiding her hair. "We didn't like each other much when we were little," Valkyrie smiled, her eyes looking towards Tony, who had Loki's fingers in his hair, "And why was that..." both Valkyrie and Aron looked at each other.
"Oh well, he was pining  over Fandral!"
"Was not!"
"Was too!" she laughed, "But there was also the battle of the Gods and the peace deal Odin, your father..." She pointed to Thor, "later enforced."
"Between who..."
"The Vanir and Aesir..."
"Lead by Tola and Bor." Valkyrie smirked, "It was brutal... blood and guts!" she said as Isabella smirked, "Sounds like my kind of party." Aron laughed, "I wouldn't get excited, sister, see it's the reason that mother is the way she is..." he sighed,
"Well, tell us..." Loki rolled his eyes, "Dragging it along is only getting boring..." he bit his lip as Astrid pulled his hair, "Forgive him for he grows impatient..."
"Well, the stories say it all started on a starry night when Mani had a full moon rise."  Tola, whose hair was: just starting to grey, had finished putting on her armor of gold and black, her chosen sword in hand and a cape of crimson to follow, "Freya, see to it the princess is Safe..." Tola commanded, eyeing her daughter, "As you wish." Freya sighed, watching as Frigga kept her company, walking down the spring-filled air halls of the palace, grabbing her amulet. Tola had one thing on her mind getting rid of Bor, "Tola, what if the world ends..." Hoenir sighed, "Then we shall build it back up..." she smiled, marching out towards Asgard, her steed by her side. Leather boots tied as chest armor were strapped down by Freya while Frigga braided her black curls back.
"I don't think you want to do this."  Frigga sighed, "Think about it." she watched as Amidala put her gloves on, sword on her hip, and crossbow in hand. "The only thing I think about is you, Ashton... and Valhalla." Amidala turned to kiss her on the nose. Frigga sighed while Freya cooed at the two,
"Odin will be pissed..."
"Let him be pissed." Amidala smiled at the loose hairs surrounding her face,  "Give up, Bor!" Tola laughed with her army of Vanir warriors and gods by her side, "I see you left your daughter at home." he laughed, watching as her sword became a whip, Odin by his side ready to battle, "This is no war for a princess..." She stepped up to him ready for his first strike, his sword hitting her shield.  Tola laughed, watching as her sword wrapped around his leg, pulling him close, blood gushing from it; as the rest began to ambush the Aesir, the distant sounds of a horse trotting down. "I've come to fight!" Amidala growled war paint under her eyes, crossbow pointing towards Odin sword towards Bor, Tola turned around to see her foolish daughter on the horse,
"Don't you dare..." Tola growled her daughter's hand on the trigger.
"Bor, you will never win..." Amidala growled,
"Silly little girl..." Bor laughed, swinging his sword pointing under Tola's chin. Amidala shot her crossbow, and in one swipe, Tola was no more.
"It's said that Tola was mourned forever by the queen..." Valkyrie sighed, "But her soul lives through whoever possesses her sword. So there's that."
"Sounds stupid..." Tony mumbled, relaxing under Thor's touch. "Like a story, you tell kids, so they'll go find swords..."  he looked as Astrid gulped, "It wouldn't happen to be gold, would it..." she stopped braiding as Loki looked up at her, "Astrid, you didn't..." Isabella groaned.
"I did... it called to me and... Aron shoved it in my hands and..." she smirked, "I knew I had to have it..." she shrugged, as Loki groaned, "Darling, it's probably cursed..." he sighed, "Good job... OUCH!" Astrid grunted, pulling his hair. As Valkyrie and Tony laughed at the situation, Isabella had a question nearly bubbling and brewing,
"Why try to marry your daughter off to Odin's kid then..."
"Oh, should I tell her..." Valkyrie asked
"I think I should... it's my fault mother tried to settle an arrangement." he sighed, "You see, I was 15, and mother had just recently had you two..." he sighed happily, "I know this because I held you both."
Sitting at the table in the Tavern were Fandral and Aron, Fandral-like; usually had a following of maidens surrounding him feeding him wine grapes and the finest of meats from Vanaheim. "Why so blue, Aron..."  Fandral asked, his smile sincere and sweet, one he could never get out of his head, "We have all that a warrior needs, wine, women, and..." Aron rolled his eyes, "Friendship... " he winked at one of the goddesses who were wrapped around his arm, "Precisely my friend, and not to mention that foul Hela is gone!"
"For now..." he mumbled, hearing the women chatter on about Fandral, his blood boiling, watching his attention grow on them. He had to think quickly about something that would grab his attention, something mundane,
"You must be completely insane. You are but a prince!"
"I'm going to kill an Elf..." he smirked, "Maybe even the king..." silence dropped in the tavern eyes on him, "
And I'll do it with the Sword of Tola,  or maybe even the gracious hammer..." He smirked, watching as Fandral shook his head, "I won't allow it...Not unless you take me with you..." Fandral smirked,
"So you went to the realm of elves to impress Fandral..." Astrid asked, "No..." Aron blushed as Isabella glared at him.
"Alright, yes..."
"Thirsty for this Fandral guy?" Tony asked, "I mean, how hot was he..."
"Gorgeous..."
"Dashing!"
"Astounding "
"Breathtaking."
"The pure definition of sex..." Isabella gushed as Tony cleared his throat, "But then I met you, my dearest..." She continued braiding Thor's beard.
"Well, did it work..." Tony asked as Aron laughed, fidgeting with his fingers, eyes wandering while chewing on his lip. "Well, you see, we got to the realm of the elves and..."
Aron began to fidget with his hands, his nerves getting the better of him. Fandral looked over at Aron, his hand on his shoulder the other by his sword, "You don't have to do this." he grumbled, "Why are you doing this... not that I don't love a good adventure... but why?" Aron froze in his tracks, taking a big gulp, "Because I Lik- I like going on adventures with you." Aron turned to face him, "And, besides, I know what I'm doing..." Aron laughed, unsheathing the sword of Tola, a dark elf behind him ready to prey on his Vanir bones. The elf picked him up, dangling him by his feet. The only thing he could see were teeth for miles on end. As Fandral tried his hardest to save his friend, there wasn't much hope.
"Heimdall!"
Opening the gates was Heimdall, who didn't look disappointed nor upset. He just looked a bit unbothered, which was always unsettling. "Odin... or your mother will not be pleased with you..." he sighed, stabbing one of the elves, sending Aron to Vanaheim. Landing in the luscious grass, red deer feeding upon the purest of trees, as farmers tended to their cattle and Gods held debates. There sat Aron in the spring air without a worry in mind, for he was home.
"Oh, glad you're here, tell me how good are these grapes..."  Mimir asked, handing the young boy some.
"Perfect for harvest!" Aron looked up as he saw two Ravens, a lump in his throat as if he tried to swallow stew meat whole.
"Try some, perhaps?"
"I'd love to, but I should get going!" he ran off into the palace and up the steps to his chambers.
"Is everything alright..." Amidala stood at his doorway, holding Isabasia in her arms,
"I'm, fine mother..."
"You look as if you have seen a Jotun..." her features caring and soft, eyes resting on a scar on his leg, a graze mark from an elf,
"Aron Sodonson! where were you!"
"I...I..." the thunderous rumble of Odin graced the presence of the Vanir palace, Amidala turning to one of her handmaidens handing her. Her child,
"All-Father, what brings you by the land of the Vanir?" she asked, dusting Aron off,
"Your boy... your treacherous son... " he pointed, feeling Arons heartbeat.
"He's but a boy..."
"All-Knowing... boys turn into men, and foolish ones turn into trouble..." Odin glared down at the young prince, "Now I've already punished Fandral..."
"Please don't punish him... he is but all I have..." her brown eyes holding back tears,
"He is a disgrace... Asgard was nearly a wreck because of him!" his face turning red.
"Have mercy on him!"
"I've no mercy, not even for my daughter Hela..." he grumbled, watching the young boy cry signaling for them to lock his hands in shackles,
"He will be released if and when Hela returns..."
"How dare you!" she pulled her crossbow at him,
"What must I do..."
"Give me your "first" born as queen to my "first," born,  and we will pretend this never happened,"  he smirked, as Huginn and Muninn carried him away, tears streaming down the boy's face Odin had one thing in mind, the perfect revenge.
"So mother was hard on me because of you!" Astrid growled, nearly lounging at Aron Isabella and Tony holding her back, "You are the reason I had, to almost marry him?" she pointed at Thor, her magic turning from blue to purple as Aron backed away,
"You think I meant for that to happen!" he shouted, "Do you think I wanted to be locked away as a relic to Odin,  huh!" Hot tears streamed down from his cheeks,
"None of you will ever understand the pain that I went through..."  Loki looked from behind his book as he raised  his finger,
"I was a literal breathing peace treaty..."
"I got sent to Midgard to forget my heritage..."
"I had to survive Midgard with little powers, on the realm of New Mexico."
"I saw my girlfriend die by Hela's hands..."
Tony sat there silently as he watched the hurt in Aron and Astrids' eyes. Tony knew that look before because he knew the pain they were dealing with neglect, blame, and no one but themselves to point to in the end.
"Hey, hey, hey, we all have problems... Maybe we should hear him out before it becomes a shrink office in here!" Tony sighed, letting go of Astrid, "Green weasel, get back here, put the book down, and listen..."  he sighed, as he then looked at Isabella and Thor, " Never having kids, right..."  he mumbled as Isabella shove him,
"Now continue with your story..."
Aron sighed, his breath shaky as he tried to rekindle his thoughts. The image of him sitting in the dungeons under making his skin crawl. He could see Fandral and Sif guided by Frigga as they gave him food, books, and stories to interest him. "Why hasn't she come to see me..." Aron asked countless sleepless nights under his brown skin, his eyes sunken back, as he looked down at his feet, Frigga making him new shoes, "She's been busy with Astrid, I'm afraid..." Frigga laughed, "Troublesome one but caring much like you." she tilted his chin up,
"I'm but her forgotten son..." he looked away, his fingers fidgeting, "Troublesome, and mischievous..." Aron scoffed.
"I'm afraid you're describing Loki," she laughed, "Oh, you two would have gotten along ever so well." Aron smiled, looking at the pain in his eyes, "Tell me how goes it for you and Fandral." a bandage still on a fresh wound, "You tell me... He rarely visits barely looks at me." Aron plopped down in his chair,  "After I confessed my love to him, he, well, he ran off." he laughed, tears down his face,
"I never meant to hurt anyone... I just wanted..."
"Praise..." she smiled, "We all do. We're God's and Goddess for the sake of the Norns." she wiped his tears away." We can't help it if we want attention. it's in our blood." Aron looked at her as he let a laugh escape from his lips.
"But I only ever wanted his attention..." he sighed, "All of those women... who were lovely, by the way," he smirked, "Always made me a bit jealous... Because I wanted to be around his arm," he shrugged, as Frigga laughed,
"I would pray to you, you know..."
"Well, I accept no responsibility."  she laughed as a voice echoed down the dungeon halls, "All-Father, he calls for your arrival." Fandral looked up, his eyes falling upon Aron, "Of course..." she walked out from his cell, turning to look his way,
"Perhaps you'll stay here. I know my way around the palace..." her brightly colored golden dress lighting up the room,
"Aron..."
"Fandral..." his back pressed against the glass of the cell,
"Was it true... what you said..."
"Every word." he turned to face him, eyes looking down at his, "But I know you'd never feel what I feel..." he laughed,
"I can't appear to you as a maiden... I can't..."
"Appear to me as you are my friend..." Fandral smiled,
Aron sighed, sitting in the corner, his thoughts heavy as his eyes leaked of tears, "Would you like to play Uno..." Isabella asked, handing him a deck of cards, "I suppose ..." he looked over at the table as Thor threw his cards down.
"Loki, you cheated!"
"I did not!" he argued back as Tony looked down under the table, his deck of cards showing under his illusion. Valkyrie sighed, pulling her deck down, "Well, anyways, Uno:" she shrugged, Aron sitting next to her as he pulled out a card,
"The color is orange." as the night progressed with laughter and smiles: and Just Dance dance-offs. There laid the Vanir and Aesir cuddled up in blankets. Tony looked down as he saw Isabella and Thor cuddled up together in a sleeping bag. While Valkyrie Aron took to the floor in an Iron man blanket, there laid Astrid and Loki snuggled up on the couch, holding hands as her head was under his chin. They were all at peace, even in the eye of Ragnarok.
"Psst... Tony..." Thor whispered.
"What..."
"Join us..."
"Eh, this is your family, but I'll join ya tomorrow." he smiled, walking towards his room.
The sun rose over Manhattan, pigeons on the balcony. AC/DC in the background and "Thor for the love of Frigga,  get your arm off my waist..." Valkyrie grumbled, "That's Loki's arm..." he rolled over.
"Who's disgusting foot is touching my face..." Isabella kicked Loki's cheek as his eyes opened, using his powers to throw her off the couch, "Ouch!" Aron grumbled, rubbing his head.
"Thor, your heavy get off me!" Astrid growled, pushing him off as Tony walked in,
"I see the history museum opened up..."
"Stark of York, I will curse you... do you want that..." Astrid growled,
"You won't do anything..."
"Oh no, she'll do it. We've seen it happen." Loki turned over.
"Jarvis breakfas-"
"WHY ARE ALL MY COFFEE CUPS SMASHED!"
