I respect that you have concerns about possible homophobia behind criticism of Scott, but your post about it used some inaccurate information.

Grian cheating is actually a recurring plot point in many desert duo fanfics. It isn't ignored. The difference is that when discussing the CCs, Grian's cheating was actually a result of wanting to switch up his content (Double Life happened after a post on the Hermitcraft subreddit where Grian was criticized for always grouping up with Scar and Mumbo), while behavior towards Jimmy often doesn't have as clear of an OOC reason for it.

Furthermore, Scott isn't the only one who gets flack for how he treats Jimmy - to use a recent example, people had major issues with Sausage's behavior towards Jimmy in Minecraft SOS. To use an older example, Jimmy had to reassure chat in one of his Raft streams that he was okay with how Grian, Joel, and fWhip (all married to women) were treating him, and even repeated that reassurance when he cut it down into a shorter video.

It's also important to note that Scott isn't the only LGBTQ content creator in the MCYT sphere. Joey Graceffa is gay; Lizzie, Gem, and Cleo are bi; Shubble is ace. You also make assumptions in your post that Pearl is straight, which we don't know for sure, as she's private about her personal life. While she has a boyfriend (at least I'm pretty sure he's a boyfriend), she often refers to him as a roommate instead of a boyfriend, and she could very well be bi/pan or ace. We don't know, and assuming people are straight as default can cause issues.

well some of you have met emilio and juliek, the cowboy/vampyre duo… let me explain more!!

emilio [27] is a wandering gunman from the late 1800s [specifically 1880s] and his family was involved in the mexican-american war [his father] and the american civil war [his brothers] [all died ☹️]. he ran way from home at age 15 to join a gang of outlaws and headed out west [southern california, nevada and new mexico] before they literally tried to kill him because he was a better thief and sharpshooter than the rest. was nearly drowned in a river but he was saved by a horse — his horse — rocinante!! best horse ever imo [not his horse at the time, he stole rocinante from a foolish rancher] but now he’s an infamous wanderer, and part-time bounty hunter

juliek is a 115-year-old polish vampyre [eternally 23 but that doesn’t matter besides looks]. poor man just wanted to move away from his life back in southern poland, only to be shanghaied not even 24 hours after arriving and finishing immigration papers in new york to ‘work’ for a shady railway company building railroads [why they would pick the guy who looks like he has tuberculosis and is extremely frail during the day beats me but who knows juliek is just an unlucky guy]. he kills them after arriving to the destination [the mojave desert]; but not even 12 hours after that he’s kidnapped AGAIN by emilio’s former gang and taken eastbound as they run from californian authorities, to [you guessed it, new mexico] where part-time bounty hunter emilio intercepts them and rescues juliek while killing and capturing them for the authorities… before being pursued and having to leave the country because of his former ties to the gang he literally turned in… cruel world for gunmen.

anyways they fall in love yadda yadda yadda…

and theres a biology student-turned-herpetologist there too named cody and they hate their university because their professors don’t agree with their ‘obsession with reptiles’ [their special interest bc they’re autistic][theyre also aroace but it’s never explicitly mentioned]

so i have a multiverse of ocs…. and oh boy is it extensive. and many have been lost in an “burning of alexandria” o7

the sole center of this multiverse is beetle the bard [who isn’t actually a bard, xey just adopted it]. xey have been there through it all and have knowledge of my existence [i, chris the creator] and xey fucking hate me. [its basically if i was chuck/god from supernatural, except if he wasnt evil]

beetle has a boytoy queerplatonic partner jasper, whom xey met while trying to kill his dad [he was bitten by a lycain, but thats super long story for a later date] and he was then further ‘enlightened’ and ‘learned’ of my existence [beetle has to explain it like i was an old friend-turned-worst nemesis]
