"it's all tedious, yes, but that is our life." as long as he could keep up this lifestyle, he didn't mind all that much the things he had to do. the long meetings, the annoying other nobles. he got to keep a highly respected title and provide his family with plenty wealth. "of course, i understand your studies are quite important to you. should i get you a private tutor?"
Tumblr media
"That sounds tedious." Carina responds with a partial frown. Though, receiving her father's smile was greatly affirming as his opinion of her was always so important to her. She did push back and stand firm (in as dignified way as she could) when they disagreed, but there wasn't ever much cause for that. "No. I haven't had much urge to be that social. I've been focusing on my studies more than anything. I adore reading and learning, although, it is feeling a bit dull."

Volturi Kings HC - First time in bed
Tumblr media
- 1K Follower Post Celebration! Thank you all for loving my writing!!!
Tumblr media
Volturi Kings x GN! Reader +Carlisle Cullen
Summary: First time in bed.
Warnings: Smut, Fluff, Establishing/Established Relationship
Characters: Aro Volturi, Marcus Volturi, Caius Volturi, Carlisle Cullen
Minors do not interact!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aro Volturi
- After a dinner date, he takes you to the bedroom and then lets you get ready for sleep. While cuddling you, he kissed you gently, but he couldn't help himself but get rougher with your lips.
- His hands would be firmly exploring your body, squeezing at your warm skin, then letting his kisses travel down to your neck along with some light bites.
- Taking off anything you had on, he would read your mind through his touch and do anything you wanted as long as it wasn't drawing blood; he knew that he wouldn't be able to control himself.
- He isn't afraid to make noise in the bed, which was known to whoever came close to your door. Whether it was the bed sounding like it was going to break or his moans echoing in the room, he made it known he was enjoying himself.
- Keeping his hands on you, he would know where you wanted him to cum, but he would still want to hear your choked words that mixed with moans.
His hands gripped your hips, thrusting into you, and he watched as your head pushed back into the pillow. Your breath hitches as he thrusts deeper as he moans sweet nothing's to you. Leaning down, he kisses your neck, leaving little bites behind. Edging himself on his instincts to rip you apart, he makes his thrusts almost animalistic before becoming sloppy and coming to his senses. He leans into your ear, whispering with silk in his voice "Tell me where Amore".
-
Tumblr media
Marcus
- Talking about books, he would invite you to his library. You both have already gone over all the castle's library. He would watch as you explored the shelves.
- Finally, after you had picked one you wanted him to read to you or even just tell you what it was about, sitting next to him, a soft touch landed on your thigh with his soothing voice telling you about the book.
- Slowly, his hand moves up your thigh, making you less focused on his words. As you focus on his hand, he kisses your cheek, getting your attention and letting his sweet words finally get to you.
- You watched as he put the book down on the table beside him. Kissing his soft, cold lips, he moved to lay you on the reading couch, letting him in between your legs with his hands moving under your clothes to then take them off.
- He wasn't loud, but his moans could only be heard by your close ear. His lips worshiped every inch of your body, leaving short-lasting, cold trails of kisses. He let your gasps and moans guide him even through his thrusts before kissing you as you met your highs.
Trails kissing down your neck with nothing but coldness accompanying them, his cold hands making you gasp and shake just by their soft touch. Stopping, he removed his clothes, keeping his eyes on you after he threw them to the floor. His hands met your thigh, pulling them apart as gently as he could, feeling years-old emotions coming back.
As the second came and went, his grasp on you became rougher; his hands left prints before quickly going away. Finally finding himself entering you, his moans grew louder even after feeling you match his thrusts. Pulling himself back together, he kisses your hot skin, making you shake slightly with each one. His words and moan made you cry out, telling him all he needed to know.
-
Tumblr media
Caius
- After dating for long months, he insisted a month ago that you get a couple of paintings done, though he posed to look at you as you looked forward. Your bush captured in the painting forever, letting you remember his eyes that carefully scanned you.
- Finally, it was done, and he shooed the painter away, leaving you alone with him and his exploitative eyes. Staring at the painting, you smiled, seeing how his face looked in love. His arms warped around you, accompanied by kisses on your neck, with his teeth lightly meeting your neck, teasing you.
- Pulling to the couch you sat on, he lays you on it, quickly pulling his clothes off and even helping you with yours. His words filled your head, talking about how he couldn't wait any longer to have you.
- Both on your knees, your back against his chest, his kisses keeping your neck company, leaving your moans to surface out into the room as his cold hands mix with your warm skin, wanting for his next move. The chills from his cold skin made him moan, knowing he had a lasting effect on you.
- At first, his gentle guidance would wear off when your moans from his thrust filled the room, taking over his thinking and control, making his moves sharper and rougher, burying himself inside you.
  Your head rested on his shoulder, giving him a front-row seat to your moans and making him pull you both into euphoric bliss, blurred by his thrusts and his words, the only thing keeping you in reality. His hand moves down to touch you, pushing you closer to your climax. Curses leave your mouth before pulling your head up and then back down as you came into his hand, your body shaking. His moans join yours as he buries himself into you.

Tumblr media
Carlisle
- Having a day off with the kids out living their lives, he waits with a warm bath ready for the both of you. Coming home, he lets you put your stuff down but quickly takes you to the bathroom with slow music softly playing in the background.
- Not letting you lift a finger, he takes off your clothes, letting his cold hands graze your skin, making you hold your breath. A small smirk shows on his lips that makes you smile.
- Having you sit in the bath, he sits behind you, watching his hand go behind a towel that is covering what now you see as sparkling water. After pouring you your glass, he kisses your cheek before pulling you closer. His hands start to travel across your chest, then move down, making you laugh through closed lips that curve into a smile.
- Touching you with his cold hands makes you shake and moan; in turn, he hums lowly in satisfaction, and his lips start sparking in the nook of your neck. He asks you to tell him to make love to you, and with a shaky "yes," he takes you to the bedroom.
- Laying you on the bed, he kisses your thighs, tickling you before traveling back up to your lips. His gentle hands push your thighs apart and slowly enter you as a sweet nothing is whispered into your ear.
His grip grows tighter as his thrust becomes rougher from his gentle touch. Your moans mix loudly in the once-quiet house. Sloppy kisses on your lips as he looks into your eyes and then closes his, his moaning rubble in his chest echoing into your ear. Your hands hung on to him, nails running down his back, leaving nothing behind. His thrust became softer with a kiss near your ear.
Please," you beg through his kisses, and he rushes one of his hands down to touch you to let you finally meet your high. Your head back, you couldn't see his face as he moaned with you as you both came.

Hi, could I request more about "Being Carlisle and Esme's youngest daughter HCs:" and we have the Volturi wrap around our finger, please, thank you, and love it.
You put it, the Reader doesn't get along with Bella. I was hoping you could tell us more about that relationship. And I personally would love it if the Volturi knew that we're there since Carlisle and Esme got custody of us. They are "Cousins [ Demetri, Felix, Alec, Janeand Heidi,] Anutes and Uncles [ Uncle Aro, Caius and Marcus] to us". When Alice goes and saves Edward dumbass. We're there to save Edward, but we're also happy to see them. When Demetri and Felix came, we called them Cousin Dem and Fe while smiling. We hug Jane, holding hands with her. The Cullens knew about what we call them. We really don't care what happens with Bella, but we do care about our brother and sister. Personally, I got the feeling we don't really care if Bella lives or dies
Thank you so much 💓
P.S. feel free to message me if you need anything clarification on this
Being the daughter of carlisle and the Volturi loving you:
So I usually don't write for the Volturi so bear with me.

So you want to know more about Bella and y/n's relationship...
So, I want to compare how Edward thinks and how Bella thinks to show the two girls relationship.
I think when Bella is finally introduced to the family she's quite jelouse of Edward's relationship with you, there's no real incureties to it, she just doesn't want girls hanging around Edward.
Bella also thinks your plan and shy, there's off hand comments on how she's discribes you, Edward on the other hand discribes you as happy, humorous, and so beautiful.
You guys are always throwing harmful comments to each other and Bella usually takes it too far.
You also hate how she's treats her father. She always gets mad and says it's none of your business and you have no idea what you were talking about.
“my parents chose me, yours just got stuck with you”
Carlisle and Esme would put a stop to it, there's been many times Carlisle and Charlie have had talks about Bella's bullying.
Of course you're parents know your not a saint in theses situation, but Bella is usually the one to start it.
“if someone pushes you, you push back” Emmett always says, which is why your never scared to decened yourself.
And since your the youngest, your basically the center of the Cullens universe, but then Bella comes along and puts your family in danger, that's your problem.
You also have a problem with Edward putting everything aside no matter what for her, your happy he finally has a girlfriend but there should be boundaries.
You especially started hating her when Edward decided to go to the Vulturi after Bella's supposed death.
You knew about the Vulturi and you became friends with them in fact, your uncle Marcus(yes, you heard me right) says your the glue that holds you all together.
After Aro found out about a human joining Cullen Coven, he showed up to see if it was true, Aro didn't really have a plan for what he was gonna do, but when he met you he saw no harm. He was in aw at the sight of the small child.
The deal was that you could stay human with the family as long as you wanted, you just had to keep the secret of the Vampires.
Honestly you see Aro as the creepy uncle, you'd never say that to his face and he'll never found out because he refuses to read your mind.
“but, Dad he creeps me out! None of the others do”
Dispite you thinking he's creepy, he'd never hurt you.
At first Cauis wanted nothing to do with you and didn't agree with Aro's decision, but the more the family interacted with the Vulturi the more he grew a soft spot for you.
Marcus is more of a grandpa than an uncle if were being honest, he's a lot older than the others and he's always been so gentle and kind towrds you.
He gives you advice and is there if you need to talk.
I don't know much about Heidi, but I figure she'd absolutely love you and is always spoiling you.
Demetri is like a big brother/cousin and you kinda have a love/hate relationship. You guys tease each other and sometimes it'll get mean, but trust me he'd kill anyone who harms you.
Your probably closest to Jane and Alec, they're both closer to your age and you three just hit it off immediately. You hate hearing about they're tragic back stories but they always tell you it's not your fault and you make they're lives better.
Then Edward left for Italy to go and execute himself 🙄
You were so made at Bella for putting Edward in this headspace and situation, especially after you found out she's was perfectly fine.
But, anyway Alice was getting ready to take Bella to Italy and you wanted to Tag along. Not because you were there to support Bella, but because you wanted to see the extented family.
Ya know... Going to Italy to beat Felix and Demetir at Mario cart again...
What you didn't want to do is see Bella getting all dramatic and telling your Uncle Aro to kill her instead of Edward.
You rolled your eyes and came up to hug Jane as she threatened to use her gift on her, she was only using like 5% of it on Edward just for ✨dramatic effect✨ . “alright Jay, they've learned their lessons”
Jane chuckled and stopped using her powers on Edward, wasn't too painful for him.
“Aw, I was having fun” Felix sighed as you ran up to him and hugged him.
Cauis rolled his eyes trying to hide his smile as Bella looked completely confused. “What just happened?”
“nothing... Just you being dramatic for no reason, they're on our side bone head, You think they'd actually hurt Eddie?”
You left Felix's arms and walked around the Castle. “by the way, where's Dem?”
He appeared and hugged you while Bella looked even more confused and kept asking unanswered questions. “aw, she's still alive”
You laughed and quickly shhed him.
“what? You think just because they're old school and basically vampire royalty they're evil? you asked Bella, you were kinda pissed off she thought so low of them.
“yeah we never said we were gonna kill him and Alice never said that either” Aro said, clapping his heads together.
You then clicked your tough, with a sarcastic smile. “well, we send little miss. Main character home and me and Alice can stay here for the weekend, dad said we could.”
Jane hugged you excited for some girl time while Felix ran around the Castle making sure you had a comfy room to sleep in.
“do what ever you want Dem, killer or set her free, send her to the moon, have her for dinner, I don't really care”
Uncle Cauis laughed as bella started stuttering as Felix and Alec came back with arms full of dvds.
“wait, what?” Edward sighed. “they're kidding”
“we could watch a bunch of TV shows, we got Bones, and supernatural” Felix smiled.
“no Supernatural, they got the vampires all wrong” Alec said.
The two boys and you and Jane both just walked off talking about what you should watch without even a goodbye for Edward and Bella. “What about Moon Knight, dad finally got an account for Disney+. It's a really good marvel show”
“ooh, I heard Oscar Isaac is in it, he's so hot” Jane said, Felix and Alec groaned as you girls started thirsting over male actors.
“they're just gonna be horny for 40-something year old men the whole time” Alec sighed, heide slapped him and told him to be nice.
Bella scoffed and left with Edward after Alice smiled and ran after her sister and Jane.
“Lators Gators” you shouted to Edward.

Volturi kings with an s/o who loves animals? Like they get cuteness aggression and use a baby voice when talking to animals. And when the kings say something like " it's just an animal" their s/o would go "how could you say that? 🥺".
Love the idea
Volturi kings with animal loving S/O
Aro:
Aro absolutely adores watching his s/o interact with animals, finding their childlike wonder and compassion endearing. He secretly enjoys seeing them use a baby voice and expressing their cuteness aggression, finding it charming and heartwarming.
Despite his stoic exterior, he can't help but smile when they exhibit their love for animals.- When Aro makes an offhand comment like "it's just an animal," his s/o gives him a pouty look and says, "How could you say that? They're living beings too, with feelings and emotions just like us. They deserve our love and respect."
Aro is taken aback by their passionate response but can't help but admire their unwavering dedication to animal welfare.
Caius:
Caius initially finds his s/o's love for animals amusing and slightly perplexing, as he doesn't understand why they would care so deeply for creatures he deems inferior.
However, over time, he begins to appreciate their empathy and kindness towards animals, even if he doesn't fully share their sentiments.
When Caius dismissively says, "it's just an animal," his s/o immediately jumps to the defense of the innocent creatures, saying, "How can you be so dismissive? Animals are miraculous creatures that deserve our love and protection. They are just as important as any other living being."
Caius is secretly impressed by their unwavering compassion and determination to advocate for animal rights.
Marcus:
Marcus is quietly fascinated by his s/o's love for animals, finding it endearing and sweet. He enjoys watching them interact with furry friends and witnessing their genuine joy and affection towards animals.
Despite his apathetic facade, he secretly cherishes the moments when he sees his s/o expressing their love for animals.
When Marcus casually remarks, "it's just an animal," his s/o gives him a gentle chastising look and says, "Animals are not 'just' anything. They are precious beings that deserve our love and care. How can you not see their value and importance in the world?"
Marcus is surprised by their passionate response but can't help but be touched by their unwavering dedication to animal welfare.

Yandere Caius X reader
Caius is quite protective and strict when it comes to the reader. That includes, not leaving the castle grounds and only speaking to kings including himself and the guards only.
One morning reader opens their eyes and sees that it’s snowing outside. Readers eyes immediately lights up as she sees the white and cold sky.
And so the reader decided to have a little fun and dresses up for the cold air to play outside in the backyard where the flowers usually go and where Markus usually takes his daily strolls, Caius DID say to stay at the castle grounds.
As she went outside and started playing and making a snowman, Caius on the other hand was furious that the reader might’ve ran off somewhere and was about to have Demitri do a search only to hear the readers soft laugh.
As he goes outside he sees reader making a snowman with a bright smile on her face making Caius calm down and gets distracted from her.
When reader noticed Caius was watching she decided to have a bit of fun and throw a snowball at him, which Caius decided to play readers game and throw one back.
After a while Caius notices that the reader is cold so he brought them back inside and to the kitchen to make them a hot chocolate.
This is just fluff with a dash of protectiveness❤️🤭
You guys are out of control, we all know yandere Caius would lock us up in a tower 😔🤌🏾

Deep within the ancient halls of the Volturi castle, (y/n) found herself ensnared in the web of Caius's possessive and overprotective nature. Ever since she had been discovered as his mate, her life had become a series of intricately woven rules and restrictions that bound her to the castle grounds.
Her every move was under scrutiny, and Caius's strict demeanor ensured that she adhered to his expectations without question. The rules were clear—she was to remain within the castle's walls, her interactions limited to the kings and the guards who patrolled the grounds.
It was a life of isolation, one that (y/n) had grown accustomed to, if not resigned to. Her connection with Caius was undeniable, the mate bond pulsating between them, and she could sense the depths of his possessiveness that knew no bounds. His protectiveness, while suffocating at times, was also a testament to the intensity of his feelings for her.
Days melted into nights within the castle's walls, and (y/n) found herself navigating the elegant chambers with a sense of grace and poise that had become second nature. The castle's grandeur was a stark contrast to the confines of her restricted world, a world where Caius's gaze lingered on her every move, his eyes a blend of adoration and caution.
When she did interact with the other members of the Volturi, (y/n) treaded carefully. Her conversations with Aro and Marcus were measured, her words chosen with precision. She had learned to navigate the complex dynamics of the ruling coven, understanding that her presence in Caius's life meant she had a role to play in their intricate balance.
But there were moments when (y/n) longed for a taste of freedom, a chance to explore the world beyond the castle's walls. She would stand by the towering windows, gazing out at the moonlit landscape, her heart yearning for a life beyond the confines of her gilded cage.
Yet, Caius's presence was a constant reminder of the love and devotion he held for her. He moved through the castle with an air of authority, his gaze never leaving her for too long. His actions, while controlling, were also infused with a tenderness that he reserved only for her. In his arms, she found solace from the constraints of her existence, a reminder that she was cherished and valued.
As the days turned into weeks, (y/n) began to find a delicate balance between her own desires and the expectations that bound her to Caius. The world outside the castle may have remained elusive, but within its walls, her love for him bloomed amidst the thorns of his possessiveness. And while her heart yearned for more, she knew that she was at the center of a love that transcended time and boundaries—a love that was as unyielding as the ancient stones that formed the foundation of their world.
Bundled up in warm attire, (y/n) stepped out into the snowy morning, the chill air tingling against her skin. The grounds of the Volturi castle were blanketed in pristine white, the snow creating a serene landscape that stretched out before her. Her eyes lit up with childlike excitement as she gazed at the glistening world that had transformed overnight.
With every step she took, her boots left a trail of footprints in the snow, evidence of her playful exploration. The cold air felt invigorating against her cheeks, and she couldn't help but let out a laugh as she spun around, her arms outstretched like a bird in flight.
The garden area, usually a burst of color from the blooming flowers, was now a canvas of white. (Y/n) could almost imagine the flowers peering out from beneath the snow, as if waiting for the warmth of spring to awaken them once again.
As she ventured deeper into the garden, she noticed a small bench tucked beneath a tree. The sight brought a fond smile to her lips, knowing that Marcus often sat there during his strolls. She imagined him here, surrounded by the beauty of the snow-covered landscape.
With a mischievous glint in her eyes, (y/n) moved to the bench and began to shape a snowball with her gloved hands. The cold, powdery snow compacted easily, and soon she had a perfectly round snowball in her grasp. Looking around with a playful grin, she took aim at a nearby tree and let the snowball fly, watching as it hit the trunk with a soft thud.
Her laughter echoed through the air as she continued to throw snowballs, each one finding its mark with unerring accuracy. She was lost in her own world of winter wonder, the joy of the moment washing away the constraints of her usual routines within the castle walls.
Meanwhile Caius paced back and forth, his expression dark and brooding. "(Y/N)," he muttered under his breath, "where in the world have you gone?" His anger boiled within him, his thoughts spiraling into worst-case scenarios. Had she run off? Abandoned him? The very idea gnawed at him like a relentless storm.
Just as he was about to call for Demetri to track her down, a faint sound reached his ears. Laughter. His head snapped toward the courtyard, disbelief warring with relief as he spotted her there, a mischievous grin on her face. The intensity of his emotions, from fury to exasperation, was replaced by a curious mixture of irritation and fondness.
Caius' gaze locked onto her as she gathered a handful of snow, her intent clear in the sparkle of her eyes. Without warning, the snowball whizzed through the air, narrowly missing his shoulder. The audacity! A rare, almost incredulous smile twitched at the corner of his lips.
He brushed the snow from his shoulder, his movements deliberate. The tension that had weighed on him began to unravel. In a swift and fluid motion, he crouched to pick up his own snowball, compacting it in his hand. With a calculated toss, he sent the snowball sailing toward her.
Her startled gasp and the way her eyes widened fueled his determination. He was not one to shy away from a challenge, after all. As the snowball hit her arm, a startled laugh escaped her lips. Caius' heart raced as he watched her reaction, the atmosphere between them shifting palpably.
What started as a playful exchange quickly escalated into a full-fledged snowball fight, each throw accompanied by a burst of laughter and an occasional yelp. The tension that had filled the air earlier was replaced by an electric energy, a connection formed through their shared antics.
Caius' stern facade cracked further with each throw, revealing a side of him rarely seen by anyone else. And as for (Y/N), her eyes sparkled with a mixture of amusement and genuine affection, finding joy in the simple act of playfulness.
Amidst the flurry of snow, their laughter intertwined, forging a bond that transcended the usual formalities. Caius had played her game, and she had matched his intensity. In that moment, they were not the stern leader and the confidante, but two individuals allowing themselves to revel in a carefree moment, where laughter and snowflakes danced in harmony.
As the snowball fight between Caius and (Y/N) continued, a playful spirit seemed to envelop them both. Laughter echoed through the courtyard, and even Caius found himself caught up in the exhilaration of the moment. Yet, amidst the joy, he couldn't help but notice the way (Y/N)'s cheeks had turned a rosy hue, and how she shivered every now and then.
His concern for her well-being surfaced, overriding the playful rivalry that had taken over. Caius stopped in his tracks, mid-throw, and eyed her carefully. "Are you cold?" he asked, his tone uncharacteristically gentle. (Y/N) chuckled, brushing a few snowflakes from her hair.
"Just a little," she admitted, her breath visible in the crisp air.
Without another word, Caius walked over to her and held out his hand. She looked at him, puzzled. "Come," he said, his voice soft yet commanding. "Let's get you warm."
Inside the castle, the contrast between the chilly courtyard and the cozy interior was striking. Caius led (Y/N) to the kitchen, where the warmth from the fireplace enveloped them in a comforting embrace. He motioned for her to sit at the large wooden table while he went about gathering the ingredients.
As he set a pot of milk on the stove to heat, his movements were efficient and precise. Caius rarely engaged in such domestic tasks, but the sight of (Y/N) sitting there, wrapped in her own thoughts, spurred him to act.
Soon, the aroma of cocoa filled the air as he stirred the mixture, the chocolate melting into the milk. He poured the steaming liquid into two mugs, the clinking of porcelain breaking the silence. Sliding a mug in front of her, he met her gaze with an unspoken question.
(Y/N) looked up at him, her eyes softening with gratitude. She wrapped her hands around the mug, savoring the warmth that seeped into her fingers. "Thank you, Caius," she said, her voice a hushed murmur.
He inclined his head, acknowledging her thanks with a nod. For a moment, their eyes held, a connection forming between them that went beyond the snowball fight and the jesting banter.
As they sipped their hot chocolate, the tension that had been present earlier transformed into a different kind of energy—an intimacy forged in the simple act of caring for one another. Caius watched as (Y/N)'s expression softened further, the lines of her face relaxing in the flickering firelight.
In that quiet moment, surrounded by the warmth of the kitchen and the shared understanding between them, Caius and (Y/N) found themselves in a space that was both familiar and yet unexplored—a space where vulnerability and camaraderie intertwined, leaving an indelible mark on their connection.

EASIER (B)
⚠️WARNING⚠️: Edward is an asshole… BUT THAT’S NOTHING NEW AT THIS POINT… Some insults, and violence but nothing too exaggerated... Also! We kinda hate Bella but not really, because let’s be honest… Edward is kinda a manipulative bitch. Unhealthy relationships (Bella and Edward).
Pairings: male!reader x The Volturi kings.
“Very well, my dear, we shall do as you want.” Aro finished the exchange by getting closer to you and caressing your face, smiling when he noticed how you were thinking of him and his brother in unholy positions, just to avoid giving the plan away. Then he leaned towards you and kissed your lips with passion before pulling away and looking at you with a devilish but comforting smirk. “We trust you, darling.”
Every time that you say you're gonna leave
That's when you get the very best of me
You know we need it like the air we breathe, air we breathe, yeah
I love you so much that I hate you right now
it's so hard to blame you cause you're so damn beautiful
So damn beautiful
After your kings decided to trust you with the task of managing the whole newborn situation, they decided that it was time for you to have a guard on your own. In their words, it was like a special guard, formed by only the best of the best. Vampires that wouldn’t doubt at the moment of killing anything that could pose a treat to you, and that wouldn’t think twice before dying for you -even if you didn’t like that idea as much as the killing one-.
That took you to the exact moment where you stood in the middle of the grand hall of the Volturi castle, bathed in the soft glow of candlelight, you were flanked by Aro, Caius, and Marcus, the three reigning kings of the Volturi and your fated mates. In front of you, a bit closer to the main door of the grand hall, the loyal and esteemed members of the Volturi guard stood. They were the vampires that your mates had designated to protect and defend you. You already knew Jane, Alec, Demetri, Felix and Nikolas. There was a face that you didn’t have the pleasure of meeting before. His name was Raine from what you heard before in the hallways and between whispers, hopefully, you weren’t mistaken. All the vampire’s eyes were filled with a mixture of respect and affection. Something a bit surprising since you hadn’t interacted with the last two mentioned.
Raine, seemed to have a commanding presence and unwavering loyalty, you didn’t need to look at him too long to feel that. He stepped forward, and his gaze met yours, and, just like that, as easy as breathing (even if you didn’t have to) a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. It was comforting, like a silent reassurance of the bond you shared. At that exact moment, you understood that Raine was going to be more than a member of the guard; he would become your protector, your confidant, and maybe with time, he would be like a brother to you.
"I know you haven’t interacted as much or well… never, so… Allow me to introduce Raine," Aro declared, his smooth voice reverberating through the hall, accompanied with a deep and amused chuckle. "A formidable warrior, devoted companion, and beloved mate to our esteemed guard, Nikolas. His unwavering dedication to the Volturi and to your safety knows no bounds. So, we are sure that you will be safe with him…"
The weight of Aro's words hung in the air, affirming the significance of Raine's role not only as a member of the guard but as your protector. Raine inclined his head with pride, his eyes never leaving yours, silently reaffirming his commitment to your well-being.
Jane, the petite yet powerful force within the guard, stepped forward next. Her gaze, filled with respect and admiration, swept across the room, acknowledging the honour bestowed upon her to protect you. Her loyalty to the Volturi and her unwavering dedication to your safety was unmatched.
"You already know Jane," Marcus announced, his voice laced with reverence. "So, we hope that you know that her unwavering loyalty and exceptional abilities make her an invaluable asset to our cause. So, as your protector, she will ensure your safety with her unique gift and unyielding determination."
“Of course, my love… Jane is always welcome with me… She’s aware of that, and she knows that I’m always grateful for her presence and company…” You said softly while looking at the young girls with a warm smile.
Jane's eyes met yours, reflecting a profound understanding and shared experiences. She knew the depth of your bond with the kings and the magnitude of the responsibility entrusted to her. Not only that, but she personally appreciated you. You were like a comforting parental figure and mentor. You calmed her down when her emotions got the better of her and you encouraged her to practice with her powers. Meanwhile, you, in her gaze, found reassurance that your safety was in capable hands.
Alec and Demetri followed suit, they didn’t need any introduction at all, their presence commanding and their commitment unwavering. They had proven themselves time and again, earning their place within the guard and their role as your protectors. Besides, they were also your friends, always willing to talk with you in your free time or just spend with you the few minutes your mates were busy with they royal duties. The loyalty and shared experiences of the two vampires cemented the unbreakable bond that tied them to you. With his unwavering strength and fierce determination, Felix stood tall beside his comrades. His role as a guardian extended beyond physical protection; he was a steadfast companion, ready to shield you from any threat. The trust you had built with Felix over the time you were in the castle made him an integral part of your journey. From the moment you met, he acted like a caring and annoying older brother, always ready to mess with you and protect you when necessary.
And then there was Nikolas, a seasoned member of the guard, his wisdom and experience enriching the group dynamics. Nikolas had been by your side for countless moments, and his loyalty was never tested, because it was so obvious that he believed in the king’s rules and laws that he never need to be put in trial for anything. He was one of the oldest members of the Volturi, so obviously, his guidance and presence carried weight within the guard.
"These are your protectors," Aro proclaimed, his voice filled with pride and reverence. If you could compare your amazing mate to something else, you would think of a child in Christmas morning, when he knows he was able to get the perfect gift for someone. "They have been chosen not only for their exceptional skills and unwavering loyalty but for the love and devotion they hold for you. Together, they form a formidable force, bound by their duty to safeguard your well-being."
Of course, as Aro's words echoed through the hall, a sense of gratitude and warmth enveloped you. This guard was not merely a group of protectors; they were going to be your family, bound by love and a shared purpose. Each member was starting to play a unique role in your life, and you only hoped that with time their presence would turn into a testament to the strength of the bond you were feeling between you and them.
Stepping forward, Aro extended his hand toward you, a gesture of camaraderie and trust. You took his hand, feeling the weight of his words resonate within you. With your new guard by your side, you were prepared to face whatever challenges lay ahead, knowing that their love, loyalty, and shared experiences would guide you through the darkness.
You approached a bit, your steps were measured and confident, a regal grace imbued in every movement. It was only when you were directly in front of your new guard that you stopped walking. "Thank you for joining me," you spoke, your voice carrying a mixture of gratitude and warmth. "It is an honour to have you by my side, to know that I am protected and cherished."
Nikolas met your gaze, his voice steady yet filled with sincerity. "I am privileged to serve you, to stand as your shield and your confidant. My loyalty is unwavering, as is my commitment to your well-being." The members of the guard, Jane, Alec, Demetri, Felix, and Raine, stood alongside you, their expressions a mix of respect and camaraderie.
You smiled, a true and kind smile that was rare but obviously genuine, it was an expression that lit up your features and that was mostly reserved for your adored mates. "Together, we are stronger," you said, your voice carrying a note of conviction. "In each of you, I see unwavering dedication and unwavering loyalty. I trust in my kings' choices and I believe that we will navigate the path ahead with grace and determination."
Felix stepped forward, his gaze meeting yours with unwavering intensity. "We will protect you with our lives," he affirmed, his voice filled with resolve. "Our duty extends beyond duty itself. It is a commitment to your happiness and well-being, to safeguarding the love and connection that binds you with our kings and with us all as your subjects and companions."
Your eyes softened, a flicker of emotion passing through your features. "I am grateful to all of you, for your presence, and your unwavering support," you replied, your voice tinged with genuine gratitude. "To have such loyal companions by my side gives me strength and reassurance."
A few days later, in the dimly lit chamber of the Volturi castle, you stood before a large table where Raine, Jane, Alec, Demetri, Felix, and Nikolas were gathered. The air crackled with anticipation as you prepared to give them their assignment. The kings weren’t there, trying to avoid any type of involvement with the planning in case Alice was trying to see their choices and plans. The last thing they needed was the little vampire acting like some type of prophet and trying to blame the Volturi for the newborn’s attack on the Cullens.
"Raine, Jane, Alec, Demetri, Felix," you began, your voice carrying a commanding tone. You hated when you had to act like a boss in front of your guard. You didn’t want the coven to be like that, like an enterprise, without feelings or any type of warmth, but sadly, considering how stupid the Cullens were acting and how they were about to go to war against lots of newborns that would destroy them without a second thought, you had to be serious and bark orders while thinking of a strong strategy that would help the smaller coven.
"I have a task of utmost importance for you.” You started your explanation while looking at the vampires in front of you. “The existence of our kind is at stake, and it is your duty as representatives of the Volturi clan to handle this matter with precision and efficiency."
Raine, with his piercing gaze and an air of quiet strength, nodded, his expression serious in the usually laid-back face. Jane, with her captivating aura of power and authority, even for her young appearance, stood by Raine's side, ready for any challenge. Alec, exuding calmness and a commanding presence, prepared himself for the mission. Demetri, with his unparalleled tracking abilities, exuded confidence and determination, and Felix, radiating sheer physical strength, stood tall and resolute. You knew they were all ready for whatever plan your mind had created. They would follow you without a doubt, ready to end with the threat towards your kind.
"Jane, you will take charge of the operation. Your keen intellect and combat prowess will be invaluable in this endeavour. Besides, we all know how extraordinary is your gift… Raine, the newborns probably won’t have any idea of who you are, so… I’ll need you to use your power to disorient and incapacitate them, stop their abilities, make them feel weak. Alec, reinforce their illusions and provide cover when needed. Demetri and Felix, you two will be in charge of tracking and subduing them… ensure their compliance." You paused for a moment, allowing the weight of the the task to settle upon them.
"And Nikolas," you continued, your voice filled with warmth and gratitude, "I will need you to stay by my side. You know that I consider you a loyal protector and confidant, besides… The kings would feel better if you stayed behind to protect me… You, surely know, that your presence is essential to my safety."
Nikolas, who had been standing silently in the background, nodded understandingly. He knew his duty was to safeguard you, and he accepted the responsibility with unwavering dedication. That was his main task from the moment you arrived in Volterra, to protect you, to defend you against anyone who tried to hurt you.
"While you won't be joining the others on this mission, your role here is just as crucial," you reassured him. "I trust in your abilities to protect me, and I know that I am in capable hands."
Nikolas met your gaze with a determined expression. "You can count on me, my prince…" he affirmed, his voice filled with loyalty.
After making sure that Nikolas understood why it was so important for him to stay with you while the others went to fight, you turned your attention back to the rest of the guard.
"I have every confidence in your abilities. Show the newborns the might of the Volturi, but exercise restraint and judgment. Our goal is to restore order and ensure the safety of our kind, not to needlessly destroy. If there’s someone salvageable, anyone, that would be a good addition to the clan, or if someone shows true regret and is willing to learn the rules and follow the law, let’s give them a chance. The Vulturi don’t give second chances, but let’s consider that those newborns, never had a chance to begging with."
As the team prepared to depart, you stepped forward, your gaze filled with unwavering trust and gratitude.
"Remember, you are not alone. Together, we will face the challenges that lie ahead. Your bond as a team is as essential as your individual talents. Protect one another, trust one another, and return to me victorious. The kings and I trust in your abilities and your good thinking…"
With those words, the group of Volturi representatives turned to leave, their resolve unwavering. The weight of their duty pressed upon their shoulders, but they carried it with honour and determination.
As you sat in the quiet meeting room of the Volturi castle, your gaze fixed on the regal figure of Jane as she prepared to leave. Everyone else had already left. The meeting is long over. And you couldn’t help but think that the room exuded an air of solemnity, the walls adorned with ancient tapestries depicting scenes of the Volturi's immortal reign. Maybe it was the words that were exchanged just a few seconds ago, maybe it was just how the sunlight filtered through the tall windows, casting gently rays that danced upon the polished marble floor, creating a serene ambience. You weren’t sure. Still, you had a second mission, the planning was over, and now… the second part of the plan needed to start.
Seizing the moment, you rose from his seat, your expression calm yet resolute. This was going to be quite difficult for you, but still, you knew this was necessary. Your eyes met Jane's, locking onto her crimson gaze with a steadiness that bespoke your unwavering resolve.
"Jane," You called out, your voice carrying a quiet intensity that cut through the stillness of the room.
Jane paused, her graceful movements halted as she turned to face you. Her porcelain features held a trace of curiosity, her piercing eyes sparkling with a mix of curiosity and expectation. She was ever an enigma, capable of both unspeakable power and surprising depths of empathy. Still, when you looked directly at her, she felt so young, so inexperienced in life, like a child wanting comfort and protection. Sometimes, in secret, when nobody could see your thoughts or feel your emotions, you let yourself think of her and Alec as your children. Still, you weren’t sure that it would be welcomed so you kept those feelings to yourself.
With a composed demeanour, you continued talking, your words were measured yet purposeful. "Before you depart on this mission, I have something important to convey," You stated, voice projecting a confidence borne from the knowledge that every word had been carefully considered.
Jane's brows arched ever so slightly, her attention fully captured. She remained silent, awaiting the revelation that would shape their course of action.
"In the event that you and the others discover information that could alter our plans, that could change everything," You explained, words deliberate and laden with significance, tone of voice soft but serious. You weren’t joking about this, and it was clear that you truly believed that something would change your guard’s course of action. "I ask that you exercise your judgment and take the necessary actions to ensure our success. But please, do not inform me of any such developments."
Your request hung in the air, the weight of its implications palpable. You understood the reason behind it—the need to shield the choices of the kings and your own decisions from the penetrating gaze of Alice. After all, knowing her, it was obvious that she would also see your choices related to the newborn threat. She always thought that her gift was almost perfect, and she would make sure to try to use it against any plan that the Volturi could create. The unspoken tension that had surrounded them all since the meeting's inception now found its voice in this solemn exchange.
Jane's gaze softened, her features betraying a glimmer of understanding. She nodded in acknowledgement, a silent agreement forged between you and her. Though you knew that Jane changing the plans depending on the situation would leave you in the dark, you understood that it was necessary and accepted the essential part of this arrangement, knowing it would safeguard their endeavours from the prying eyes of those who might manipulate fate.
With that, Jane resumed her departure, her figure gracefully gliding through the doorway. Meanwhile, you remained behind, contemplating the gravity of your shared secret. In this moment of quiet reflection, you took an unnecessary deep breath and prepared yourself for the unknown, ready to face the consequences of a future shaped by the choices of others. Right now, you quite loathed Alice and her stupidly useful gift.
Is it easier to stay is it easier to go I don't wanna know oh but I know that I'm never ever gonna change and you know that you're always gonna stay the same
Is it easier to stay is it easier to go I don't wanna know oh but I know that I'm never ever gonna change and you know you don't want it any other way
As the moon reached its highest point, casting a luminous glow upon the enchanting and mysterious gardens of Volterra, the Volturi kings prepared for a momentous occasion. You weren’t aware of this, but it was there, surrounded by the whimsical beauty of nature that helped them hide from the chaotic world and stay in that small piece of heaven and safeness, that they had meticulously arranged a scene that would forever mark their love and devotion into your heart.
The gardens came alive with the soft glow of innumerable fairy lights, delicately twinkling like stars suspended from the branches of ancient trees. Their ethereal radiance bathed the surroundings in a warm, romantic ambience, enveloping the space in a magical embrace.
They knew it wasn’t the best time for this type of surprise, but they couldn’t help it. They were tired of hiding you, of acting like they didn’t consider you their equal. They wanted for you to be able to stand proudly by their side when they had to judge a rebellious clan, they wanted for the rest of the vampires outside their coven to respect you and fear you like they respected and feared them. They desired to be able to listen to your ideas and plans without having to hide because of your lack of a royal title. It wasn’t fair, you were one of the smartest people they’d ever met, and they didn’t want to keep insulting you by ignoring that fact. You were their mate, the only being that was solely made to be by their side, you weren’t made to be hidden and to stay put like a trophy, you were born to rule, to protect and defend what you and they considered important. Unlike them, you showed the compassion that they had lost many years ago, and they felt that it was time that the vampires of their world had a ruler they could turn to, not only to accuse another coven but to seek help and comfort.
They looked at the garden, a cosy seating area nestled beneath the sprawling canopy of a centuries-old oak tree, adorned with cushions and blankets in hues of velvety midnight blue and rich crimson. Soft, plush pillows were carefully arranged, inviting you to sink into their comforting embrace. The idea was to show the comfort and kindness that you usually showed to them and to your friends inside the Volturi guard.
A table, draped in elegant silk, stood nearby, adorned with crystal glasses that glimmered as they caught the moon's tender light. The lack of silverware, plates and food was quite obvious, but they couldn’t do anything about that. It wasn’t like you could eat, so the idea of sharing a meal would be ridiculous and wasteful. Still, they had mixed some blood with your favourite wines from when you were alive, wanting to show you that they cared not only for the current you, but also for the things that had made you into the being they loved so much. This careful mixture of alcohol and blood was a token of the kings' unwavering commitment and affection. Just like that, from the carefully opened bottles that rested in the middle of the tastefully decorated table, a tantalizing fragrance permeated the air. It was a delicate blend of freshly picked roses, intertwined with the aroma of rich, aged blood. A symphony of scents of sorts, a harmonious combination that reflected both the beauty and the primal essence of their immortal existence. An existence that they hoped to share with you by their side.
As you entered the gardens, your footsteps were muffled by the lush grass. It wasn’t possible, not at all, but the kings could almost feel how their hearts quickened with anticipation. The Volturi guard, standing sentinel around the designated area, exuded an aura of reverence and support, they had decided to take a moment to maintain this moment untouched by the responsibilities of everyone outside. Their tasks were simple, make sure that you four wouldn’t be interrupted. Each member of the guard, adorned in their regal attire, wore a gentle smile, their eyes conveying unwavering love and acceptance.
Aro, your charismatic and visionary king, the spokesman of the three kings, stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with a mischievous sparkle. "Ah, my love, we have orchestrated this moment with utmost care and affection, for we have longed to profess our love for you in a setting as extraordinary as the bond we share."
Then, Caius, your strong king, let his stoic facade softened by the warmth of his emotions and spoke with a resolute tenderness. "In your presence, we have found solace and completeness. The depths of our hearts are forever entwined with yours. Tonight, we offer you the promise of a love that transcends time and fate."
Finally, your quiet but caring king… Marcus, the always introspective, with his gaze full of profound intensity, whispered words that carried the weight of centuries. "The course of our immortal existence has been irrevocably altered since the moment we met you. Your presence fills our lives with purpose, and your love has breathed new life into our souls."
With their words hanging in the air, the Volturi kings stepped closer, their eyes locked on your own, their hands extended in a gesture of unwavering commitment. Aro, his voice both commanding and gentle, continued, "In this enchanted garden, beneath the moon's tender gaze, we ask for the honour of your hand in a union that surpasses mortal bounds. Will you become our beloved, our partner in eternity?"
This is it… They were finally asking you the biggest question of your inmortal life…
Overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of love and devotion before them, your heart swelled with emotion. Tears of joy danced in your eyes as you gazed at the kings and the extraordinary scene they had meticulously crafted. The tears would never fall, unable to find release thanks to your unnatural anatomy, but still, the emotion was there, your face and whole body were showing off the multiple feelings that were going through your heart and mind at the moment. It was a moment that surpassed your wildest dreams. You knew they wanted to marry you, you were aware of the fact that this would eventually happen but… Now? Like this? This was better than any dream, better than any imagined scenario that you had created in your mind. This was a thousand times better because this came directly from them.
You knew this wasn’t the time to be shy, you needed to convey all your feelings and you were planning to do it. Your kings had created such a beautiful proposal for you, there was no way you wouldn’t correspond to their feelings in the best way you could. So… with a voice filled with love and unwavering conviction, you replied.
"I spent most of my life until now… chasing a love that would never come true… But it’s in your arms, that I have found solace, passion, and unwavering support. To be chosen by you, to be cherished and loved by all three of you, is a gift beyond measure. With all my heart, I accept your proposal, knowing that our love will continue for the rest of our lives and that, it’s only your love, the thing that I was truly craving when I was lost….”
And the hardest part of all is that we're only built to fall
Is it easier to stay is it easier to go I don't wanna know oh but I know that I'm never ever gonna change and you know that you're always gonna stay the same
On the other side of the world, a similar, but quite different picture was starting to appear as the sun began its descent beyond the horizon, casting a soft golden glow across the meadow of the forest of Forks.
There, Bella stood on the delicate precipice between love and doubt. With the warmth of the evening air wrapped around her, mingling with the scent of grass and wildflowers, she asked herself if this whole situation was what she actually wanted. Still, she stood there, waiting faithfully doing her best to stay immobile as she waited for Edward to arrive.
Bella’s heart was heavy with conflicting emotions, doubts creeping into her mind like shadows, whispering their insidious words. She couldn’t help it, the problems, the fights, Edward's own actions in front of you and in front of the kings of the vampires, all of those little things were starting to pile up and they threaten to pour out of her heart, filling her head and soul with doubt and questions that nobody seemed to want to answer. Also, a part of her questioned if Edward truly loved her as deeply as he professed. After all, the way he reacted to meeting his ex-partner, even after he told him that it was you that was hanging onto a relationship long over, it was confusing. You had already moved on, so… Why was Edward so upset about it? Why did the brunette make such a scene accusing his ex-lover of horrible things and trying to attack them? And then… his actions towards her during their trip back to Forks, his reluctance to turn her into a vampire, to make her inmortal so they could be together forever… Did he really love her and cherish her as much as he said to do? Or were his words merely empty promises, masking a more self-serving desire to keep her in his world for a while? Like a little pet, a little thing you want to love, knowing that they wouldn’t live as long as you do… Did Edward see her as just a fleeting love? Maybe he saw her as something he could play with and pretend to love with the reassuring thought that she would grow old and die while he would stay young forever…
Bella gazed at the shimmering light filtering through the trees, the same light that had once illuminated their undying love. She still remembers the hidden encounters, the kisses in the forest and laying in the same meadow as Edward while talking sweet nothings to each other. She remember how he explained about you, about his disturbed ex-lover that dreamed of a wedding that would never happen and that fantasied about a relationship that was long dead. At the time, she was so worried for Edward, so saddened by the fact that he was tied to you, and so resentful for the fact that she had to hide her love under those threes and little bits of lights… But now, the same lights and soft shadows cast doubts upon her heart, casting darkness upon the very foundation of their relationship.
At this point, she couldn’t help but ask herself if anything of what Edward told her was even true. When she met you, you attacked her and yes, acted crazy but… were your actions really the act of someone delusional and trapped in the past? Or were those the doings of someone that was betrayed and lied to by the man they loved? Edward and herself -even if now she was ashamed of it- had made fun of you behind your back, joking about your mind being trapped in a delusion where your ex-boyfriend was still in love with you… and yet, now, she was the one who felt trapped.
She was entangled in a web of her own dreams and desires, her own personal simulated world. She felt weak, stupid… She let herself be moved by the allure of immortality, the idea of being the only one in the life of a creature that was designed to be perfect, the idea of forever being with Edward, of being loved for all eternity, the idea of being so important for someone that he was willing to ignore his own nature just to love her… that lies, that illusion held her captive. So, still with all those doubts and worries plaguing and poisoning her mind and heart, she stayed there, standing motionless, waiting for her boyfriend.
And just a few seconds later, there he appeared, a figure emerging from the depths of the forest, it was just the blink of an eye for Bella, but suddenly, he was in front of her, looking directly at her expression while his eyes glowed with an intensity that had once mesmerized her. Now, she wasn’t sure what she felt looking at that unnatural gleam in his eyes, she was just glad that he couldn’t hear her thoughts, thankful for the shield nature had given her. Edward had approached her with a confidence that both comforted and unnerved her. His voice, so sweet and melodic, echoed through the meadow, blending with the whispering breeze. She felt like he was trying to touch her with his words, cover her and hide her from the world… She used to be grateful for that feeling…
"Bella," he said, his voice laced with tenderness… but was it real? "I have loved you from the moment I laid eyes on you. Every beat of my heart, every fibre of my being, longs for you. There is no doubt in my mind that you are my destiny, my forever."
His words reached her ears, but her heart yearned for more than mere declarations. Besides, his promises and sweet nothings seemed to stay there, unclear and almost impossible to be true. Did he yearn for her because of his love? Or was it because of some weird instinct that he couldn’t control? The doubts that plagued her thoughts begged for reassurance, a tangible proof of his unwavering commitment, a way to show that he truly loved her and wasn’t only following what he thought he had to do...
Was this proposal an act of genuine love, or a desperate attempt to keep her bound to him?
As Edward dropped to one knee, a small velvet box in his hand, Bella's heart fluttered with a mixture of hope and trepidation. What? She wasn’t confused, she understood what his words and actions meant but… She wasn’t even eighteen just yet… She was barely finishing high school… Did she want to tie herself to Edward without a chance of experimenting with other things in life? She wasn’t legally allowed to drink, she hadn’t thought of universities or if she wanted to work in something in particular… Hell, she was still a virgin!
But there it was… The delicate ring nestled within the box glimmered in the waning sunlight, a symbol of an eternity she had once craved. The commitment and future she once asked for… She even pushed Edward to take her back after he tried to leave her when the first vampire attacked her… Then she saved his life and almost pushed him to commit to her forever…
But…
Did she genuinely want this? Weren’t all teenagers allowed to do a couple of stupid things before becoming real adults? Still, how could she say “no”?
At that moment, looking at that gorgeous ring in that delicate velvet box and looking at Edward that was waiting for an answer with a small and charming smile, she felt the weight of his expectations pressing upon her, and she wondered if she could truly deny him.
Her mind raced, questioning the very essence of their love. Was it pure and selfless, or did it stem from a possessive need to control her destiny? Did Edward want her because of her? Or did he want her just to avoid losing something else that he considered his? Doubts clouded her mind and she knew that if she didn’t control herself, she would start shaking… Still, she found herself hesitating, unable to voice her doubts. The fear of losing him and the dreams she had woven around their future kept her silent. She spent so much time thinking of being with him. She risked her life, ruined other relationships, and forgot about the other possibilities of her future just to stay by his side, so… If she decided to say “no”, what would be of her? What would she do? At this point, she wasn’t sure if she could be Bella without Edward by her side…
At that moment, the conflict within Bella reached its climax. She couldn't deny the love she felt for Edward, nor could she ignore the doubts that now consumed her thoughts. Still, there was no more time, Edward was there, in one knee, waiting for her answer and she was about to get all that she thought she wanted… She just needed to ignore the questions. It wouldn’t be so hard, and maybe with time, she would get used to it…
And so, with a mixture of reluctance and resignation, she whispered, "Yes, Edward. I will marry you."
As he slid the ring onto her finger, sealing their fate, Bella couldn't shake the lingering doubts that were whispered in the recesses of her mind. But for now, she would bury them beneath a facade of acceptance, hoping that time would reveal the truth behind Edward's words and intentions. In any case, she at least knew that Edward loved her or cared for her to the point of wanting to marry her and that would be enough… That needed to be enough.
-It won’t be…- Her mind whispered, almost like answering to her silent promise. Weirdly enough, the voice sounded so much like yours that she couldn’t help but feel like she was making a mistake. Still, it felt like it was too late to change her mind now. She was going to marry Edward, and with that, she would turn into a vampire, like she was always meant to be. She was sure that with time, everything would fall into place. The doubt was, where would she fit in the whole picture once that happened?
Is it easier to stay is it easier to go I don't wanna know oh but I know that I'm never ever gonna change and you know you don't want it any other way
I love you so much that I hate you right now
It's so hard to blame you cause you're so damn beautiful

Carlisle has reached out to the Uley pack one night, an offer that was sure to satisfy them in his mind.
The Volturi’s letter to them had caused him to spiral into paranoia for Celine’s safety. He knew that if he stayed with her, the Volturi would come after her one way or another.
He’s seen it with Bella, he’s not gonna risk his Celine the same way that Edward did with Bella.
“What is it?” Sam, the leader of the pack, asked him
“The Volturi wants Celine.” He announced to him “I will place my full trust in you in protecting her for one year.”
“What’s in it for us?” Sam asked him
“You get to kill the Volturi.”
“I’m intrigued. What is it?” Aro asked, Caius and Marcus were now intently listening to him as well
“One year.” Carlisle said, his eyes directly on him “My family will be away from Celine for a year. There are no limitations on what you could do to her. But after that one year, you are to stay away from her and my family.”
“It’s a trap.” Caius called out immediately, but Aro only hushed him
His two decades spent with them taught him a lot of things about their dynamics. One crucial observation was the strained relationship between Aro and Caius. Aro's tendency to disregard Caius's counsel and blame him for any attacks carried out under the Volturi's name was a stark reality.
Carlisle also knew that Aro still trusted him despite of their past, because why would someone dare to oppose the Volturi alone?
And that just made him the biggest loser of today.
Because he would dare oppose the Volturi alone for his Celine.
“I will accept your deal.” Aro said, a smile on his face “It will start a week after her birthday.”
“Deal.” Carlisle said, a smile on his face
Carlisle turned his back on the scene of suffering and stormed out of the room with a heavy heart and a resolute determination that echoed with his decision. As he stepped out into the shadowed area beyond, he couldn't help but feel that every eye in the area, other from Celine's, already knew what he was going to do, their heightened senses attuned to the subtle shifts in atmosphere that betrayed his plans.
Though Carlisle had made an effort to keep things under wraps, he was well aware that secrets were scarce. His family's enhanced senses, polished over decades of life, were highly sensitive to even the smallest details of intent and feeling.
“How are you, my love?” Carlisle asked, looking at the makeshift bandage on her arm and gently holding her wounded arm
“More than alright. Those are some cocky bastards.” Celine said, resting her body on Carlisle. The blood was still overwhelming him, but he pushed his desires away
Celine needed him right now.
“You’re really brave.” Carlisle said, kissing Celine’s forehead “And a bit of an idiot.”
“I’m your idiot.” She teased him
In that moment, Carlisle realized the weight of his decision, recognizing the gamble that he had taken. His attempt to shield Celine unintentionally risked causing greater pain to her. He pulled her for a deep kiss, thinking that it’ll be one of the last times that he’ll get to do that.
Upon their return from Italy, Carlisle dedicated the nights leading up to Celine's birthday to be by her side at her place, ensuring her every desire was fulfilled in these final moments together. She drifted off to sleep on top of him and she woke up to the sensation of his fingers tracing through her hair, the scene similar of a happy newlywed couple.
Carlisle wishes that the scene would have been reality.
And on the night of Celine’s 28th birthday, Carlisle made her see stars with his finger and mouth alone, just like how he did on their first date. He was attentive to her every moan, her every whimper, and her every plea that she uttered. He savored the moment, aware it might be their last such intimate exchange.
All while the other Cullens packed their house away and settled some paper works to leave Forks again.
“They always come back.” He says, but would it be the same?
It was the middle of the night, exactly on the date agreed, when he decided to leave her. He understood that if he caught even a glimmer of pleading in Celine's eyes, he would abandon his mission without hesitation, willing to face the Volturi alone to shield her from harm. It was a selfish impulse, driven by an overwhelming desire to safeguard Celine at any cost. Despite the inherent risks, Carlisle was prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice if it meant protecting the woman he loved from the Volturi.
As Celine woke up, she found her bed empty, a sense of unease crept over her, her thoughts spiraling into a frenzy of worry. Hastily, she dashed downstairs, her heart pounding with increasing urgency as she searched for any sign of Carlisle. Finding nothing, she made a swift decision to grab her keys and race to the Cullen residence, her heartbeat thundering in her ears with each passing moment of uncertainty.
As Celine parked just outside the house, the absence of any car in front intensified her growing apprehension, causing her thoughts to spiral out of control. Self-doubt gnawed at her, berating her for once again placing her trust in another man. She walked into the house, seeing it empty. It was as if no one had lived in it. The silence that greeted her felt suffocating, amplifying her sense of isolation and fear.
In a moment of clarity, Celine recognized the gravity of the situation and couldn't help but laugh bitterly at herself. Of course, she thought, this outcome was inevitable.
What had she truly expected, after all?
“I wouldn’t have expected that Cullen would actually hold his end of the bargain.” A voice taunted behind her, she turned around and saw Caius, his eyes black in thirst
Had he sold her to them?
“Go ahead then.” Celine said, tilting her head and offering her neck to him “Have at it.”
“Where would the fun in that be?” He taunted her, the smirk on his face growing “Maybe I’ll have a taste of you myself before bringing you back to the castle.”
A growl was heard surrounding the place. Celine could conclude with her own human senses that it was a wolf. Caius looked around before a wolf attacked him from above
“I knew it was a trap!” Caius yelled, trying to fight the wolf on top of him. But it was stronger, having separated his limbs already. She saw a man come out of the wolf once Caius’ body was separated, which made her shocked and concerned
“Get the fire starting. Burn every bit of him.” The man ordered to her before rushing out, his attempt to not answer any question that she’ll have for him
Celine quickly went to the kitchen, grabbing something that was not fireproof to light on fire. She collected all of Caius' body pieces and threw them outside before starting the fire and burning him.
“Damn you Carlisle.” Celine hissed, watching as Caius’ body became ash
With a realization, Celine pieced together the truth: Carlisle had orchestrated her to be some sort of pawn in his dangerous game, using her as a sacrificial lamb in a bid to dismantle the Volturi's power slowly. She figured out that it was a misguided attempt on his part to protect her, flawed and filled with risks, But it spoke volumes about the depth of his love and his willingness to do whatever it took to keep her safe.
But did that mean that she misses him?
Hell no.
Celine quickly bounced back to work after Caius’ death, her colleagues bombarded her with questions about Doctor Cullen's whereabouts and the nature of their relationship. With a heavy heart, Celine responded with a simple but firm statement: "I don't know, and we never dated."
“Are you really like, unaware of his whereabouts?” Sean asked her one breaktime
“Trust me. If I knew, I would tell his fangirls so they’ll go talk to him.” Celine answered cooly, taking a sip of her coffee in an attempt to control her emotions
“Didn’t expect him to leave like that.” Eunice said quietly, Sean agreeing with her with a nod
“But he did, so let’s just suck it up and forget him. We managed without him before, we’ll manage without him now.” Celine answered, almost having lashed out on them
On her day off, Celine decided to visit her parents’ grave, a place she hasn’t visited the moment she’s got in a relationship with Carlisle. She swept off the leaves that rested on their grave as she sat down next to it. The solemn atmosphere enveloped her as she took a moment to reflect, allowing memories of her parents to flood her mind and offering silent prayers in their honor.
Celine began to ramble aimlessly about work, sharing snippets of hospital gossip and any other random thoughts that crossed her mind. She found solace in keeping her mind occupied, hoping to distract herself from dwelling too much on thoughts of Carlisle.
“I’m sure you would have liked Carlisle.” Celine accidentally said while rambling. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath before deciding to continue
“He— he was a great man. A father of three, but he took them as his own.” She continued, realizing just how much she actually missed him
“Have I told you that he’s also not human?” She asked, thinking that she would get some reply from their tombs “He’s a vampire, a really strong one too. Not once did he even think of making me his meal, even though I was already bleeding in front of him.”
“He accepted me, despite me telling him that I can’t give him children of his own, even though he knows that a vampire and a human can make a baby of their own. He made me feel so loved, so heard, so…understood. But he left.” Celine continued, wiping the tears that wanted to fall off her face
“He saw something in me that even I don’t see in myself. Would you believe me if I said that he said ‘I love you’ first?” She continued before laughing at herself in pity
“I loved him. So, so, so much.” She whispered, bowing as she starts crying “But he left. He only feels like a big part of my imagination now.”
“Is this some joke that you placed on me?” She asked, anger in her tone “Making me meet someone that will lift me so high, only for him to drop me from that height?”
“Why did he have to leave?” Celine whispered to the grass where she was bowing, letting the tears fall freely
She missed him. She misses her Carlisle.
~~
A year has passed since the Cullens left. She was now 29 and was still chief nurse, deciding that she’ll keep working until she leaves Forks on her 30th birthday.
There have been no more attacks from the Volturi, and the man who has saved her during that time at the Cullen’s house never showed up to her again. While questions lingered in her mind, she resigned herself to the uncertainty, knowing that it was just better for her to know nothing.
Despite occasional thoughts of Carlisle lingering in her mind, Celine had reached a point of acceptance regarding their situation. The abrupt departure of the Cullens had instilled in her a sobering realization: that Carlisle could leave her just as suddenly as he had entered her life.
Embracing this realization, she made the conscious decision to prioritize her own well-being, opting for a life of solitude rather than risking the vulnerability of opening her heart once more.
“You really should go on a date soon.” Eunice chastised to her, watching as she types away on her computer
“No time, need the money to travel the world.” Celine answered without removing her eyes on the screen
“He’s baaaack!” Sean said in a sing-song tune, walking in Celine’s office (which was still hers and Carlisle’s really)
“Who– ooohh.” Eunice said, realizing who Sean was talking about
“Nurses, let’s go welcome Doctor Cullen.” Doctor Daniel said. The name made Celine look at him, curious if he was messing with her or not
“We’re off to go, just calling Chief nurse Celine here to join us.” Sean said, shooing him away
“Doc Daniel is so interested in you.” Sean said, watching as he left
“Aren’t you gonna greet Doctor Cullen back?” Celine asked them.
Something in her hoped that they would drag her out, giving her an opportunity to feign disinterest and reluctance at the prospect of seeing him, pretending that she had been unwillingly coerced into the encounter.
“Aren’t you gonna greet Doctor Cullen back?” Eunice asked, mocking her tone “Come here, we all know you miss him.”
Upon their return to Forks, Carlisle made a swift decision to head straight back to the hospital. He knew that somehow, he would see Celine there, even for a split second.
And when Celine walked out of her office with Eunice and Sean, Carlisle found himself struck by the same sense of awe and admiration that had captivated him on the day they first met.
“Doc Cullen!” Eunice greeted happily, Celine behind her before she was dragged by another doctor to be by his side
“I really think you should accept my offer. It’s New York, and you’re made chief nurse there immediately.” The doctor whispered to Celine
“I can make decisions for myself.” She hissed to him, getting Carlisle to smirk
‘Always my bold girl’ he thought to himself as he was chatted on by Eunice and Sean
“Come on, think of it.” The guy continued “Higher pay? You got it. A better place? You got it. Me there? You so got it, pretty girl.”
“Have I told you that I don’t  like cocky boys?” Celine hissed to him.
Carlisle's anger simmered as he listened to the doctor spout nonsense to Celine. He made his way to her, acting under the guidance that he didn’t know him, not that he cared enough about who he was
“Nurse Celine.” Carlisle greeted, his eyes meeting hers before he diverted his look on the doctor next to her “I don’t think we've met. I’m Doctor Cullen, former chief doctor here.”
“I’m Doctor Daniel, current chief doctor here.” Daniel smugly introduced himself
Carlisle wanted to drop a low comment about his performance as chief doctor, having heard rumors and stories about how he was. But with Celine’s burning gaze on him, he knew to act proper
“So, why come back?” Daniel asked him, the same smug look on his face
“I missed this place.”
A lie.
“Forks was always the place for me.”
A lie.
“No amount of team anywhere else could compare to my team here.” Carlisle finally decided on an answer, his peripheral vision looking at Celine The real reason of his return.

aro's eyes narrowed at the other. it was common for people he didn't know to know his name. though hardly any of them approached him in such a manner that they would be friendly. they usually kept a distance, requesting permission before pressing forward. "our existence?" he questioned, not daring to out himself to someone he didn't know. "i know not what you mean."

"Aro," Caius looks to him for guidance, a lot of the time -- especially now, that they are in a different era; they are noble once more, and he wonders what they are going to do with their newfound power. "What is it we are to do? The humans know of our existence, but the girl... she is human once more."

Note
Do you think a hybrid would make a good member of the Volturi in any capacity? Obviously if they had a particularly useful gift, Aro would probably offer them a place but what about a regular hybrid? I think they'd at least make a good replacement for the human secretaries (mostly because I think they're a liability). Do you have any thoughts?
If they didn't have a useful gift?
No.
But that goes for vampires too. We see it with Laurent, he's as strong and fast as your regular vampire but is useless so he gets the punt. As for hybrids being better secretaries, not really, because they still don't look human and don't have a human background/can handle human interactions in the sense of knowing what to do/how you're supposed to engage with people which is what the secretaries are there for.
Not to mention the hybrid might accidentally eat whatever human they're dealing with and then what are you going to do?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The night and the day came over Volterra again and again and seemed to slowly blur with each other. The more often the sun rose and the people came out, the more often the moon came and the vampires were activated.
They could see their prey through the thick walls of the castle and were hungry for blood. It was a vicious circle in which the Volturi also spent their time and if it was not driven away with the blood tribute then it was with the killing of other vampires and the execution of their right.
But the humans didn't notice anything about it, they were led into the big room from time to time and enjoyed the inner design until they came to the room with the three thrones.
When the three pairs of red eyes laid on the prey and struck, it was the night and the moon seemed to light up red. Darker and bloodier everything seemed to become.
In the time of death there were the wives and bonds among themselves that helped them survive eternity. It was the understanding of the creatures for each other from their three leaders to the guards. They would all be nothing without each other and without their order.
But even in this blurry cycle of night and day, there was boredom and feelings building up for the vampires. Anger, hate, pressure and also lust. For some it was the desire to kill, the hatred for humans, the rage for other vampires.
Or nothing but the pure sexual desire to simply get the relaxation back into the body. Relaxation that you usually get only when you kill, but just the vampires in Volterra with partners knew other ways.
They knew that they would not stay together with their partners forever if they did not love each other idolatrously. Aro and his wife Sulpicia or Caius and Athendore. They all had a love so ware s also for Demetri and his partner.
Together they were the eyes and ears for all Volterra and for the protection of the Volturi. Demetri, the best tracker, found everyone and his wife, whom he had found only to transform her.
Because in her human existence she already had a sense for recognizing dangers. That's why the old vampire was almost surprised how a human could stay hidden for so long.
But when he turned her, brought her to the Volturis and turned her in front of the leaders on the condition that she was his, her talent was revealed shortly after. He was the scout who could find anyone. His heart felt and saw every attack coming, every bad thought and every action against the Volturi.
A feeling that permeated her and she could also use in battle. Though not imun against Jane or Alec, she held herself against Felix, saw each of his attacks coming and dodged until she got the vampire to the ground.
They were the outermost ring and at the same time the innermost of the Volturi. But in her existence there was more she could develop her skills, even the leaders were sure. But this still had time in the moments there was little tension that could threaten the Volturi.
What does not mean that there was no work. ,,I will be away longer today," she heard the voice of her husband, who put on his black cloak. His red eyes matched the golden chain when she saw it flashing in the mirror.
But just like that she saw his slight twitchiness he seemed irritated almost frustrated which he hid behind his facade of politeness and charm towards her. ,,Don't worry so much if that's what makes you so" she replied and got up from the red velvet sofa. She went over to him and smoothed the fabric of his clothes, feeling him release his tension for a moment.
His finger placed itself under her chin and a short smirk placed itself on his lips. ,,Believe me my thoughts are only with one" he said and gave her a short heartfelt kiss before he detached himself from her.
His red eyes met hers and with a wink he left the room. His heart stayed back but calm instead of tension went through her body. As well as an anticipation, an excited anticipation as soon as her Demetri would come back.
She knew that look, that tension. The vampire had found his prey. The game had begun. The game in which she left the room and walked around, but felt no danger, a hint of it as soon as the vampires were brought in for the execution.
But before she had to intervene, it was gone. Demetri had killed another one, one after the other, and through the few windows she saw that the sun was rising again after hours.
When the light hit her hand she could see the glitter and looked at it for a moment, fascinated and yet disdainful. What good is the sun if I can't feel it? she thought and almost laughed at her philosophical nature. If she did not feel that another execution was being carried out.
Another vampire died at the hands of Demetri. The Volturi who carried out the law. ,,It's really taking longer," she muttered, and continued to stroll through the village, even going into the library, where she sometimes found Marcus.
Her master with whom she left in the silence of eternity, not knowing whether he hated or liked it. But he had not sent her away either, which is why she picked up a book again and began to read. Lost in the words and the hours blurred further and further.
Until she looked up from the book she had finished the last execution seemed to be over and night had fallen again over the world. Her superhuman senses heard his footsteps walking quickly and impatiently to her room. She wrenched open the door and said her name, but she was not there.
She could almost see his upset expression, the lust for the chase showing in his red eyes. ,,I'm not in the mood," she heard his voice as he began to search for her with his power, her inner self, her tone, her certain something.
Putting the book aside she felt the tingling run over her body, felt how she also captured him with her ability. Started to run away from him out of the library further through the building knowing that he was chasing her.
Cracks appeared in the walls and floor as he chased her and she continued to run away from him. She felt her anticipation grow, the thought of what would happen when he caught her.
What he would do. ,,I don't have the patience for this today... Come here" she heard him call and felt his fingers brush against her arm before she ran faster away from him. She disappeared into the shadows of the building and he seemed to lose her. His abilities actually let him track her down, but had he slowed down?
She found herself in front of her room, listening in the darkened corridors that were only sparsely lit - they didn't have to be bright either, they lived in darkness. Slipping into the room and closing the door behind her she felt like a rabbit in a cage.
After the door closed and the room seemed so much smaller all at once. Where are you? she asked herself, no longer feeling him. He stopped chasing her until she suddenly heard footsteps. ,,Finally got you," Demetri said and she felt his hands on her body.
His voice reached her ears and he pressed her against him. ,,The game is over" she murmured and heard the short smirk before his fingers skilfully ran over her clothes. He let go of her and she watched him walk over to the wooden dresser.
She heard the sound of the dagger he took out of the guard. ,,Someone's impatient," she quipped, but in the same breath she felt his fingers tighten around her neck as he lightly choked her from behind. While his lips kissed along her neck, he smelled her blood, felt her excitement. He felt his own desire.
His tasks dragged on too long, he kept tracking her down and simply needed her. ,,Careful with the choice of words," he warned, and she flinched as the tip of the knife ran over her skin, carelessly cutting her clothes, and he squeezed harder than necessary. The knife would not break her skin, however.
He would break her. Despite this, it was anticipation with the knife parrt that she might nestle against him and he continued to squeeze. The first cracks appeared on her neck while he held her in a demanding grip. She knew that if she freed herself he would only treat her harder.
But maybe that was exactly what she wanted. In one swift movement she had released herself from his grip, wanting to put distance between them as his cold hands wrapped around her body again.
She only found herself in her black lace underwear seconds later on the large bed. ,,You're trying really hard today" he stated and the knife landed with a precise throw in the wall above her. Letting her know that he was giving in, that he was surrendering to his senses, to his lust.
She let her own hands wander lightly over her body, her tongue moistening her lips, her red eyes darkening and hungry. Her heart, which had stopped beating, seemed to beat faster, he seemed to hear it. Seemed to smell her arousal and all because he had touched her lightly. She was simply his.
An excited sound left her lips as the clothes came off his body, revealing his even, beautiful skin and resembling his stature. ,,My heart" she murmured and stretched out her arms to him, wanting to finally touch him. Instead, it was pain she felt, pain that made her groan and cling to him.
As he joined her on the bed and bit into her halls. His teeth forcibly penetrated the skin and left a mix of excitement and pain. The poison of the bite seemed to drive her out of her mind. ,,A bite for each of your disrespect" he mumbled, pulling away from her as she tried to kiss him apologetically.
He let her stall and continued with his punishment. Biting again broke through the porcelain like skin and they both knew it would leave scars. Scars from his bites that let the other vampires know she was his. She was his and not even the three leaders would be able to separate them.
But on this particular night, she was left out of his mercy. ,,Ngh-ah Demetri...too harsh" it came over her lips as she felt her skin breaking further and further. But just as much she knew how much he loved to bite no matter if his victims or her.
Marking her and then gently stroking it, she knew it gave her a shiver. ,,I know you will endure" he replied sternly and an excited sigh came over her lips as he soothingly and rewardingly licked the bite on her breast.
His lips soothed the bruised, splintered skin and their gazes met for a moment. Repeated his punishment over and over moved from top to bottom nestled against her thighs.
Saw how she fixed him with her black eyes excited waiting for him to move up to her middle, his excitement itself slowly showed.Instead he kissed his way along her skin biting into the soft flesh smirking at her reaction but his frustration was less with every bite he could make.
A beast calms down when it bites - this was also true for vampires. Leaning back in the bed, letting herself be caught by the soft pillows and blankets, she expected him to come back to her, but instead it was something she sensed.
The sweet irresistible smell that was always in the large space. But now only a million times stronger. Demetri had a large chalice in his hand, the old polished metal seemed to light up and the gemstones on it were all the more beautiful.
But that was not what excited her so much that made her crawl towards him. She sat down on the edge of the bed and clawed her hands at him. He had her completely in the hand but his own eyes also turned black. He lost his hunger and put the goblet to his lips and took a big gulp.
The blood he couldn't swallow immediately ran down his chin and dripped onto his upper body, running along the evenly clean skin. But while he closed his eyes with pleasure and feasted on the great source, his heart practically begged him to pull himself up.
Licked and kissed the blood from his body saw the warning look as she came closer to the cup. As he also drank the rest and the object was then carelessly dropped to the floor the clink echoed in the room before he kissed her greedily.
They both tasted the blood and an excited exhale came over his lips as he probably lost his last restraint on her and the blood. Finishing the kiss, he pushed her back down onto the bed, both of them scrambling to get more space back to the pillows before his fingers loosened the rest of her clothes.
The coldness of her human form that she once had should have given her goosebumps but it didn't instead it was a demanding whimper as his fingers moved over the sensitive spot between her thighs. ,,Finally my love" he mumbled and engaged her in another kiss as he positioned himself properly and they could both smell their mutual lust. Bloody and wild.
She wanted to say his name back, to tell him how much she needed him when a throaty moan instead echoed in the room as Demetri entered her.
Without preparing her, waiting or saying a word but he just seemed to lose himself in the feeling. ,,So good" she heard him murmur and the meaningless sweet words just flowed over his lips as he increased his pace.
He didn't wait for her and his frustration, his pressure probably hadn't subsided yet. Her fingers traced cracks down his back, almost seeming to break through his skin as she threw her head into the soft pillow and wrapped her legs around his waist.
His cold met irhe his gaze the dark eyes met hers the lust in them clearly visible. She pulled him closer to her and wanted to feel more and more of him while he supported one hand on the bed frame and put the other around her neck.
Her little by little again and again the air robbed, gave her the pain as he pressed harder only to increase his speed more and more. ,,I know you can take it," he murmured, and in her head veiled by lust and blood, she didn't realize what he meant at first.
But when the pressure disappeared from her neck, the pain faded away, she opened her eyes slightly and saw the black eyes of the older man.
Before he bit her neck again and let himself go. She stood at his disposal and lustful sounds continued to leave her bloody lips, which only fueled him even more to continue.
His will to force her and to mackieren her because he could and needed it. His bites became firmer and firmer as he bit further along her torso and his fingers found their way to her breasts. The sensitive nipples pinched and her upper body reared up which he pushed back down into the mattress.
His lips wrapped around her slowly hardening nipples, taking away the pain and only intensifying her pleasure before she pulled him back into a kiss just moments later. He hissed as she bit his lip and he only seemed to get greedier.
His pace seemed to increase one last time and his thrusts became more irregular. His heart itself felt that she was getting closer to her climax and her legs were wrapped even tighter around his hips.
Her fingers buried themselves in his brown hair and pulled him to her. The two lost themselves in each other before Demitri buried his teeth in her neck one last time with a groan. She imitated him seconds later and the two broke through the skin deeper than ever before when they came down from their orgasm.
The bed frame cracked and broke slightly on the wall which didn't bother the guard. They were much too busy with each other when their eyes met again. The black gave way and were again soaked with the bloody red.
Demetri slowly withdrew from her, keeping eye contact, and took the dark velvet blanket to lightly cover her body. ,,Wait" was the first word that left his lips as she was about to go to him. She wanted to take him in her arms and just hold him instead he gently put his hand on her cheek.
He turned slightly and for a short moment regret flickered in his eyes. She knew what he had and put her hand on his and carefully moved closer to him.
Mirroring his gesture on his cheek, she smiled softly, ,,Demetri, you didn't hurt me...you couldn't give me anything but your heart," pulling him into a brief gentle kiss before adding, ,,But you already gave me that," and tapping her other hand on his torso. A hint of a smile appeared on his lips and he pulled her closer to him. The two fell back into the blankets.
The night was still long and they both knew no matter what. They had each other and that was all they needed. ,,I love you my precious heart" he mumbled as he played with her fingers tracing the bones underneath before bringing them to his lips.
Kissing the fingers and caressing her she responded with a ,,I love you only more". The two vampires had truly found the true bloody lustful love in their infinity. The great gift in infinity.
