Hi your highness, you majesty! Okay so for mixtape milestone i'm going with track 5 because I need drama and I need something in this trope because i'm a sucker for it. So I want; Hux with lovers to enemies trope. Okay before going away I just want to say what I have in my mind for this request; think like reader is a Jedi and fighting with Armitage. And while they were lovers he said something like "If I ever hurt you don't hold back and hurt me more" and than reader does what he said. And i'm sorry if it's doesn't make sense, I always had trouble with writing my ideas. Whatever. I talked too much. Have a good day/afternoon/night!
Hurt Me More
Track 5: Landslide by Fleetwood Mac - Give me a character and an angst prompt (or give me free rein) and I'll write a short blurb or headcanons about it.
Dark! Emperor! (?) Hux x GN! Reader
Thank you for the emotionally devastating request, my friend! I hope you enjoy đ
đźâ¨ mixtape milestone â¨đź
Warnings: it's all angst, and like, A LOT OF IT, totally estranged from canon, canon and not-canon typical violence, murder-suicide vibes but it's a little open-ended. Let me know what you think!!
You see him standing in the wreckage of your base, surrounded by black smoke and the raining embers, landing in his hair like stars in a celestial crown, and you just know.
You've been a fool.
A fool for never suspecting it would come to this. A fool for thinking that your love for him could change anythingâcould make a a knight in shining armor out of death himself.
"Don't come any closer."
Your words come out hollow, and Armitage wouldn't listen, even if you meant it.
He stalks toward you, a force of nature, the hem of his white cape pristine even as it brushes across the backs of your dead compatriots. You still think he's beautiful, even with blood staining his hands. Even though some of it is yours.
"I warned you," Armitage says in a voice that's low and dangerous, "you knew there would be consequences. But you still ran."
He smells different than you rememberâa thick, rich scent that makes your stomach turn. No cigarettes or day old caff on his breath. You'd learned to love that taste, loved the way the dark shadows under his eyes felt under his finger tips. Loved the way his hands used to shake against your skin, like it was an honor to touch you.
He's not shaking now, as his grip bites at the back of your neck. Maybe blaster fire would be too generous an end for you. Maybe he wants the pleasure of squeezing the life out of you, the print of his hands on your corpse, forever.
You let your eyes fall closed, and there's a memory shifting on the periphery. Warm sheets and his cool hands, fingers tickling your spine as you drifted in and out of sleep. Hush promises and whispered confessions, and something else.
"Promise me. If I ever hurt you, don't hold back. Hurt me more."
Your fingers find the hidden blaster because you still know all the parts of him he'd hoped to destroy. The weapon slips smoothly between your bodies, your arm trapped against his chest and the wicked beating of his heart. You curl your other hand around the back of his neck, holding him like he holds you. The barrel of the blaster waivers, unsure which of you it wants to most look at.
There's a smirk on Armitage's pink lips. You can't kill him like this. There's no physical wound you could leave on him that he couldn't shoulder.
So you steel yourself. Make your mouth form the words.
"I never loved you, Armitage."
The blow hits just like you knew it would. Armitage exhales sharply, tightens his grip on your neck like a vise.
"Never?" he asks. There's a hint of the man you used to know, hidden in the storm green of his eyes.
You shake your head. The blaster nods in your direction, like it's confirming his worst fears.
"Never. Why do you think it was so easy for me to leave?"
It had killed you to leave him, but Armitage will never know that. You push forward, tasting his lips one last time as you squeeze down on the trigger.

Sorry youâre dealing with travel delays! When you mentioned Domhnall Gleeson, though, it reminded me of when I first switched my Siri voice to the British male one. (I was going to say âdonât ask whyâ but Iâm sure you donât need to.) And my husband and I used my Siri to direct us to the science museumâŚ
My husband looked at me like đ
âWhy is Hux directing us to the butterfly conservatory? đâ
(Itâs just the slightest vocal similarity, and maybe just to him and me, but it made me laugh)
Hello there sweet Lady!
And thank you for the fun prompt. It definitely kept my imagination occupied during the travel blues. I hope you enjoy this little bit of swooning over villainous British voices. This is new for me. I've never written Hux, second-person perspective, gender neutral reader, or a short drabble before, so lots of firsts!
Much love!

The Sound of Your Cold Voice
Pairing: General Hux x gender neutral reader, second-person insert (no use of y/n)
CW: wartime violence, reader is wounded and captured, implied later smut but none described, implied future dubcon situation. Minors DNI
Word count: 500-600

Drifting back from unconsciousness, the first thing you heard was that voice; crisp, cold, polished, sharp enough to enact death by a thousand subtle, strategic, cuts. It was mesmerizing, pulling you back to wakefulness with an iron grip. Your eyelids flutter open to a mere squint under the bright lights and shiny black surfaces. There's something covering your mouth, pushing air into your lungs and you breathe it in desperately.
A mirthless chuckle. âAh. There you are. Welcome back.â He gives an order and the mask is gone, the air is gone, and his threatening presence seems to steal all of it from the room. âLeave us,â he commands the medical technicians, and you hear them funnel out with a hiss of the door.
It comes back to you; the research station you were working on marred by flames and swarming with storm troopers. You were injured badly and so were your colleagues (the ones who were still alive, anyway). You were shoved before him, hands cuffed behind your back, and soot staining your white lab uniform. His shiny boots striding purposefully towards you were all you could see as your head hung in shock and grief.
âAnd what have we here?â he inquired, lifting your chin with one long, leather-clad finger.
He didn't expect to be struck by how beautiful your face was; compassionate and clever eyes, a bravery in them despite overwhelming fear. Even covered in soot and abrasions, hair disheveled, it only made him want you more. It jostled his immaculate composure and made him warm under the crisp black uniform, but he would never show it.
You spoke, though your voice shook with fear and anger. âA scientist...just a scientist. This was a peaceful operation, a research facility...Why? Why did you have to do this?â
Hux wasn't accustomed to emotion breaching his Teflon coating of ambition, but something about the vulnerability in your voice made him ache to touch you, soothe you with that hypnotic voice telling you it was all for a greater good, of course, all for order in the galaxy, you sweet innocent darling. He settled on doing so, but with a shield of sardonic teasing.
He tutted, yanking your face to meet his eyes with that icy, gloved hand. Hux peaked his brows in mock sympathy, though his piercing green eyes held none. âOh, but it is all for the greater good, my dear. You'll see.â His voice dropped to a deep whisper, as his face moved closer. âAnd it will be my pleasure to personally show you.â As the implication of his words set in, you felt horrified at the unbidden heat rising in your body; the unmistakable fizzle of arousal snaking its way between your legs. He loomed, tall and thin, that brilliant red hair and green eyes reminding you of a fox playing with an injured rodent.
Now, with your back against the cold medical slab, prone and vulnerable and isolated with the dreaded General Hux, terror and temptation swirled within your body. His face, that beautiful lethal face, moved to a hair's breadth form your own as your breaths became shorter and quicker. His hand cupped your cheek gently, this time without the wall of leather between your skin. A tear slid from your eye and he brushed over it gently with his thumb.
âNow, darling,â the general said, with surprising tenderness, âWhere were we?â

Make me a caf
summary: Hux seemingly wants to keep you around after you fix his caf machine.
relationship: Armitage Hux x GN reader
warnings: (18+) making out, sexual tension
word count: 7.4k (this one got away from me... i blacked out and woke up to this. i have no other explanation lol)
A/N: 100% self indulgent. partially inspired by @wordborneâs fic Strictly Business, which is a story for inquisitor!Cal. i wonder what it is about redheads in black outfits thatâs so appealing to me lmao
prompt used: they are absolutely losing it, they pin you against the wall, hands on either side of your face, eyes looking down, they say through gritted teeth, "This isn't easy for me. I-I've never--You matter to me. And, You deserve way better than someone like me--" They're cut off when you pull their collar closer, shaking your head, somehow not fazed by his gaze that's ripping you bare. "I deserve you--everything of you, I want it." (source, by @urfriendlywriter)

Life sure takes interesting turns sometimes. You started out as a mechanic on your home planet, then got drafted by the First Order to work on many projects, the latest being a new base on the planet Ilum, which was a very exclusive and secret project. So not only did you have to relocate for a long time while the base got built, but also in the little leave you got, you werenât really allowed to talk to anyone.
But you decided a long time ago thatâs an okay price to pay for an honestly more than decent pay. You also donât have to pay for housing or food, you get your own quarters, all your equipment, and even a droid. So, not too shabby.
Itâs been a while since you moved to Ilum now, and itâs a morning like any other. Youâre the first to arrive at the workshop and your droid beeps at you, telling you that thereâs a special request coming in asking for a mechanic. You ask your companion from where it comes and it projects a schematic of the base, with the room in question blinking.
You swallow hard as you realise thatâs the part of the base where the captains and generals are housed. But the message was marked as urgent, and youâre the only one here right now, so you take your tools and nod to your droid to follow you.
It takes a while to navigate the labyrinth of hallways; it was pretty rare for the lower deck people to come to these parts. You have to look at your droidâs map a couple of times, but finally you make it to the right wing. Even the design of the walls is different here than it is in the other floors, itâs more sophisticated somehow.
You arrive at the room number indicated on the message and read the name on the plaque next to the door: itâs General Huxâs room. Great.
Luckily you didnât have to deal with him personally, ever really, but you did hear the rumours, and they werenât all too⌠nice. Sure, talks about Kylo Ren and his anger issues sounded worse in a way, but at least he lashed out from time to time. Hux donned you as the kind of person to be so emotionally constipated that he probably didnât remember how to express anything else on his face except for contempt. In fact youâre pretty sure youâve never seen the man smile.
Taking a deep breath, you knock on the door, and youâre startled as it opens almost immediately. In front of you towers none other than the General himself, sans his coat, eyeing you and your droid up and down.
âYouâre late,â is all he says as he turns on his heel, and you follow him silently, deciding thereâs no point in arguing to him about how he summoned you to basically the other side of the base out of the blue.Â
You try not to stare too much, but you canât help taking in his room: itâs spacious, clean and tidy. Thereâs a main room with a couch, a chair and a caf table, and a small kitchen to the side with a breakfast nook attached to it. An open door leads to a space you canât see, but you assume itâs a hallway to the bedroom and refresher. For a whole organisation that seems to love their sleek designs in black and red, his quarters sure are light, which in turn makes them seem bigger. The wall in the far back of the living room has a huge window reaching almost from floor to ceiling, letting in plenty of natural light, reflected on the planetâs snowy landscape.
When Hux clears his throat, you rip your eyes off the place and bring them back to him, where he stands in the kitchen with his arms crossed.
âThe caf machine is broken,â is all he says, then moves past you in a way that only entitled people do, where they expect the other to move out of their way, and takes a seat on the couch, reading through his datapad.
âRight,â you say through gritted teeth, thinking back to all your diplomas and licences to repair heavy machinery, artillery, spaceships, yet here you are, fixing a caf machine.Â
With a sigh you approach the device and get to work. You find the problem quickly, and luckily itâs an easy fix. You stretch out your arm to your droid, asking for a tool which is handed to you with a happy beep, and finish the repair within minutes.Â
âAll done, Sir,â you call to Hux.
âTest it to make sure,â he orders without looking up.
â...Sir?â
He sighs.
âMake me a caf,â he clarifies. His tone isnât particularly condescending or mocking though, itâs just flat.Â
âUhm, yes, Sir,â you respond, turn to the machine and all its buttons, then back to him. âHow would you like your caf, Sir?â
âSurprise me,â he answers and goes back to scrolling through his datapad.Â
You blink a couple of times, turning back to the device. This is one of those higher end machines, youâve never really operated one. And you donât even know where he keeps his stuff.
As if he could read your mind at your lack of movement, he says, âCaf is in the pantry, mugs are in the cupboard above.â
You open said cupboard, finding a collection of plain, black mugs, as well as an electric grinder. In the pantry you see not just an overwhelming amount of different caf beans types, but also a whole barista set, with the little press and the whisky thing. You have never used any of these; all you know is that these sets are rather expensive. And this man apparently knows his caf, so why would he ask a random mechanic to prepare it for him?
Wondering how it is you come into ridiculous situations like this alarmingly often, you get to work, grinding the beans (you didn't know a grinder could be this silent), placing everything in the machine and starting it up. In the pantry you also find some other spices and creamer, but you reckon Hux is the kind of man to take his caf black, so you donât put in any of the latter. Instead you add a little bit of⌠you donât even know what kind of spice it is, as the little jar is unlabeled, but it smells good.Â
âAll done, Sir,â you say as you walk up to him with the steaming mug.
He gestures to the caf table in front of him with his chin, and youâre about to place the mug down, but then see a little basket with coasters donning the First Order symbol. You pick one up and slide it under the mug.
âYou can see yourself out,â is all Hux says, without looking at the mug or you.
You hesitate for a moment, not expecting to just be sent off like that. Wasnât he even gonna try it? Wait⌠Why were you even waiting for a response? Itâs not like you cared.
âYes, Sir,â you bow lightly and turn on your heels, calling your droid and leaving.
On the whole walk back to your workshop, you wonder what the kriff just happened, and hope that you wonât have to deal with the General for a long time. Heâs so weird.
The universe seems to be against you though, because it is only the next day when you arrive at the workshop, but this time youâre not alone. Youâre the first mechanic, as for the next couple of rotations you have the early shift, but thereâs a Stormtrooper waiting; that canât mean anything good.Â
âGood morning, Trooper,â you greet them with a smile as you approach them. âAnything I can help you with?â
âGrab your tools and follow me,â the modulated voice orders. You pack your little bag while the Trooper just stares, then tell your droid to come, but they lift a hand.
âLeave the droid.â
You couldnât be more confused, but you comply, telling your droid to stay. It beeps sadly and slowly rolls back around your table, where it will probably stay and wait for you to come back. You feel a little bad, but thereâs nothing you can do.
The Trooper doesnât say anything else as you follow them through the pristine halls, your steps echoing off the walls. Every now and then you have to jog a little to catch up with their hasty pace. Soon enough the route seems oddly familiar and you feel like youâre having a dĂŠjĂ -vu.Â
âWhere are we going again?â you ask, even though you havenât been told yet where the Trooper is taking you.
âGeneral Hux called for you,â they explain.
Okay, now you are confused. You fixed his caf machine, even made him a fresh cup of it. What could he possibly still want?Â
The rest of the way to the Generalâs room is silent again, and once you arrive at the door, the Trooper knocks twice, then stands guard next to it. Again, the door opens comically quickly, as if Hux had been behind it waiting the whole time. The thought makes you smile to yourself, and you try to suppress it the best you can.
âAh, good, you found the mechanic,â Hux says, nodding to the Trooper, who nods back and leaves the way you came from.Â
âWhat can I do for you today, Sir?â you ask as you find yourself walking into his quarters again.Â
This time he has you following him through the hallway to the refresher, where he points at a flickering light.
âFix it,â he orders and leaves.
Is this some sort of twisted game where he would have you do menial tasks every day? Is the First Order targeting you? Just what in the world is going on, you think, dropping your bag of tools onto the floor with more force than necessary. I have more urgent work to do.
Heaving a silent sigh, you inspect the light. Just as you thought, all it needed was to be screwed in tighter into its socket, and the flickering stopped.Â
Picking up your bag from the floor, you walk into the hallway. The door to his room is open and you steal a tiny peek inside. His bed is huge! Sure must be comfyâŚ
âAll done, Sir,â you report as you come to stand beside him.Â
âExcellent. Now,â he says as he leaves his datapad on the couch and stands up, taking a step towards you, towering over you. Instinctively you take a step back, and the tiniest of smiles appears on his freckled face. Huh, you hadnât noticed before that he has freckles.Â
âMake me a caf,â he orders.
âSir,â you start, averting your gaze from his piercing one. âWith all due respect, you have a functioning caf machine right there. I donât see why my presence is needed.âÂ
He narrows his eyes at you.Â
âHow did you prepare the caf yesterday?â he asks.
Oh Maker, he probably hated it, you think as you tighten your grip on the strap of your bag.
âUhm, IâŚâ you hate yourself for stumbling over your words. You bet heâs getting a kick out of this. âWas it not to your liking Sir? If so, I apologiseââ
âThat was the best damn caf Iâve had in a long time,â he interrupts you, and you can only look up at him in surprise. âHow did you prepare it?â
âI made a⌠I think itâs called a blend?â you try your darndest to remember just what you did yesterday when you experimented with the ingredients in the pantry. âI used beans from two different packs. They seemed like they would go well together⌠Sir.â
Why did you even do that? You have no idea. Youâre also pretty sure you added one of the spices.Â
âInteresting,â Hux remarks, leaning back to stand at his full height. You didnât even notice he was leaning in so close to you.Â
You kinda just stand in place, waiting for further instructions, while his eyes seem to burn through your very soul, his face unreadable.Â
âThen, surprise me again, mechanic,â he orders, and walks back to the couch.Â
You gulp for what youâre about to say, but you donât like how he calls you âmechanicâ like itâs a derogatory term.Â
âActually, Sir, itâsâŚâ you say and pause, waiting for him to turn to you, and then you tell him your name.
He repeats it, as if testing out how it sounds, and you reprimand yourself internally for the beat your heart just skipped when you heard him say it.Â
Hux turns his attention back to the datapad, and you quickly make your way into the kitchen, leaving your bag on one of the stools.Â
Once more you find yourself in front of the pantry, and you get to work. You sniff the different caf packets, trying to understand anything from the colourfully worded descriptions on the back. With a shrug, you just follow your nose like you did last time, and grind up two different kinds of beans, this time without any spices, and let the machine do the rest.Â
Once itâs ready, you bring it to the caf table, where a coaster is already waiting this time. You place down the mug and bring your hands behind your back, waiting to be dismissed.
But instead, Hux takes the mug into his hand, blowing softly on it, and takes a sip. All without breaking eye contact with you. He waits a couple of seconds and hums. You hope thatâs a good thing.Â
âInteresting choice,â he remarks, looking into the dark liquid reflecting the roomâs lights in ripples. âYouâre dismissed.â
âSir,â you excuse yourself with the same bow as yesterday, grab your bag, and leave his quarters.Â
You take a quick look at the time on your datapad and curse under your breath as youâre gonna be late for the second rotation in a row, and speed up your pace.
This whole spiel goes on for almost two weeks: Hux sends someone to retrieve you from the workshop early in the morning, has you do some menial task as an excuse for calling you, then orders you to make him caf. The feedback you get for your results is sparse at best, usually only one or two words. But you did notice that he has a preference for one type of blend mixed with a certain spice. You even went as far as looking up more things to spice caf up with on the holonet, trying to apply it to the ingredients in his pantry.
The more time you spend in his room, the more he opens up little by little as well. At first youâd work in silence. Then heâd sit on the stools by the kitchen instead of the couch, doing some work. Then heâd put down the datapad to watch you work, and it even came as far as doing smalltalk. Once he even asked you for your input regarding a technical matter in his work, where you caught a glimpse of some schematics of something huge. Youâd be lying if you said it didnât make you curious to know what he was working on.Â
As ridiculous as this whole situation was, not only did you find yourself looking forward to seeing a Trooper every morning, but you made it your goal to make a caf that would blow Huxâs socks right off.
Itâs shortly after the two week mark of this whole thing that youâre on your way to the workshop, expecting to see a Trooper to pick you up, but the place is actually empty, save for your co-worker whoâs on the early shift. You greet your droid, who beeps happily at your arrival, and you look around.
âDid anyone come by, buddy?â you ask, and get a negative beep-boop.Â
When you ask the other mechanic, she also says itâs been just her until now.
Huh, weird. No, wait, hold on a minute â why are you even expecting to get summoned in the first place? You can finally catch up on all the work youâre behind on because of the little âcaf-scapadesâ, as youâve been calling them.Â
âAlright, letâs get to work,â you tell your droid and pat it a couple of times. âThereâs a lot to do.â
The nagging feeling that something is wrong doesnât leave you though, in fact, the more time passes, the stronger it seems to get. By the end of your shift, you wonder if you should pay the General a visit out of your own volition. But you decide against it, after all he could be on a mission somewhere, or maybe he was busy today. Either way, itâs none of your business.Â
You wrap up for the day and finish cleaning your workstation, get your dinner, and not long after, find yourself getting ready for bed. After a quick shower, you change into a tank top and shorts, your go-to sleepwear. Youâre glad that despite the harsh outside conditions, the living quarters are well heated.
Just as youâre lifting the blanket to get into your bed, you hear your datapad beep twice: a message. You wonder who it could be this late at night.
With a sigh, you make your way to the table and pick up the device, squinting at the light in your already dark room. You almost drop it to the floor when you see the message: âCome now. Alone.â Itâs from an unknown sender, but marked as urgent: itâs gotta be from Hux. You glance at the time and roll your eyes. Of course he would have you on a regular trip to his room every morning for half a month, then suddenly stop, only to call you to his room in the middle of the night. Just what is this guyâs deal?!
You look down at yourself and sigh. This isnât how you want the General to see you, at least not right now. Not yet. Perhaps.Â
You donât really own any civilian clothes, as youâre always in the base. The only non overall kind of clothing you have is a First Order uniform, but that one is only ever really used for official events or gatherings. Plus itâs rather stiff.Â
All your coveralls are currently either covered in grease and/or smell of engine oil. Besides, you donât wanna wear those over your PJs. So you grab the next best option, which is the summer version of the coveralls you almost never use because they have short sleeves, and itâs mandatory to wear long sleeves and gloves in most of the hangars and workshops. Theyâre clean at least, so you quickly jump into them, not even bothering to zip it up all the way, slip into your boots and head out.Â
Walking down the hallways to the military wing of the base at this time of night is strange; for some reason thereâs more Troopers and people out and about than in the early mornings. They give you a strange side-eye when walking past you, but no one seems to question your presence at least.
When you finally make it to Huxâs room, you lift your hand to knock, but hesitate.
Why would he call you out here at this hour anyways? On one side you expect him to tell you that heâs grown tired and bored of you. On the other side you know he wouldnât do that, not like this at least.Â
All day, ever since not being picked up by a Trooper, youâve been plagued by this little voice in your head. A nagging feeling that was disguised as a strange curiosity to know where the caf-scapades would bring you two in terms of getting to know each other, yet you knew that beneath it was genuine worry for the General. He doesnât contact you all day, then suddenly messages you (which means he went out of his way to get your contact information, since you hadnât given it to him), and here you are, running to him the second he calls you.Â
You grimace at the thought, or rather the realisation, that you actually came to⌠like the General.Â
He has a weird sense of humour, and isnât good at expressing how he feels. But if you look closely enough, you can recognise the subtle changes in his face that give away his thoughts. You canât deny that he is very handsome, but youâre also aware that he can be a dangerous man. Youâve heard enough stories of what he and Ren have done and are capable of. And yet⌠There's something about his presence, like heâs surrounded by this air full of purpose and confidence, that you canât help being pulled towards him.Â
So yeah, youâre intrigued by him. And you want to see more.Â
Taking a deep breath, you knock on the door in the pattern you usually do.
But the door stays closed.Â
Suddenly it dawns on you that you didnât actually know for sure who sent the message. What if it wasnât Hux, and something happened to him? What if he was hurt and this was all a trap?
You hold your breath, tilting your ear towards the door, trying to hear if thereâs anyone at all in there, when you suddenly hear a groan from the other side.
Youâre about to call out to Hux but stop yourself. Youâre sure it was a groan right, and not a⌠moan? You feel heat rising to your cheeks at the thought.Â
Shaking away the images threatening to flood your brain, you knock again. You really hope youâre not interrupting anything.
This time the groan is louder, clearly pained, and itâs calling your name.Â
âSir?â you ask, now definitely worried for his well-being, all other theories thrown out the window.Â
Suddenly, the door whooshes open, but thereâs no one in front of it. Instead, you see the remote aimed at the entrance (so thatâs how he opened the door so quickly), held by a Hux whoâs half hanging from the couch onto the floor.
âGeneral!â you call, close the door behind you and rush to his side.
Hux is only wearing his trousers; his shirt, jacket and belt are strewn on the floor. He probably was trying to get dressed or change, but collapsed. You grab his arms to pull him up, and you get to sit him down properly on the couch. His face is flushed all the way down to his neck, clearly running a fever. Your hand shoots up to touch his forehead and heâs burning. He weakly swats your hand away and winces in pain, his eyes shut tightly, and you feel your own gaze travelling down his jaw to his collarbones, to all the freckles covering his shoulders and pecs.
Forcing yourself to tear away your eyes, you shake his shoulder lightly.Â
âSir, you need to go to bed and rest,â you tell him.
âI- I was⌠trying,â he huffs between heavy breaths, his eyes meeting your own in what you guess was meant to be a glare, but they lack their usual intensity.Â
âLean onto me,â you instruct, pulling him up by an arm and throwing it over your shoulder. You feel how heâs fighting to slump all of his weight on you, and get moving.Â
It takes a while and Hux almost falls to the floor twice, but you make it to his room, where he lets himself fall onto the bed. You rush to the refresher, where you remember seeing a first aid kit, and bring it back to the room. You help him take off his boots and lift the blanket for him to climb into the bed, tucking him in once heâs settled. Then you sit down on the edge of the bed and start unpacking the kit. A cold patch goes to his forehead and you take his temperature, which is way too high.
âIâm gonna give you a stim, okay?â you warn him as you take it out of the kit, pulling the blanket down a little so you can apply it. You stick it below his collarbone in a quick motion, and he hisses.
âThere, there,â you coo and canât help but smile. He grunts as he places his forearm over his face, and you pull the blanket back up properly.
After packing everything into the kit and putting it to the side, you go to the kitchen to get a cup of water. Back in the room, you hand Hux some pills and the cup, and he downs it all without even asking what it is and with no snarky remark, which makes you feel even worse for him; the fever must be really bad.
Youâre still sitting at his side, taking in his state and wondering what else you can do, when a question pops into your head.
âWhy did you call me, General?â you ask him, and he peeks at you from under his arm. âShouldnât you have gotten a nurse or a medical droid?â
âDidnât get my caf today,â he rasps.Â
âOh, so itâs my fault you came down with a fever?â you retort playfully. He nods, and you canât help but laugh a little.Â
âSo now I gotta make up for my mistake?â you add, and he nods again. You exhale through your nose with a smile. âWell, General, I did all I can do for you. Iâm gonna go get a medical droidââ
But before you can stand up, his hand shoots up to grab your wrist, yanking you back down.Â
âArmitage,â he whispers, blinking a couple of times, trying to focus his eyes on you.
âSirââ is all you get out, trying to loosen his grip on your wrist.
âCall me Armitage,â he repeats, louder this time, eyes suddenly full of an intensity you didnât know he had left in his state.
âSir, I canâtâ Youâreââ you whimper in pain as his grip tightens around you even more. âYouâre hurting me, Armitage.â
Hux looks up at you a moment longer, then down at his hand, and suddenly lets go, as if he only now realised what he was doing.
âIâ I didnât mean toâŚâ he mumbles as his hand hesitantly reaches up to your wrist again, but much gentler this time. His fingers ghost over the irritated skin, taking your hand in his larger one, and bringing it to his mouth to kiss your knuckles.
âStay the night,â he orders, and you feel like your heart, brain, lungs â everything just stops working altogether.Â
âGenerââ you start but his brows furrow in a warning glare, so you correct yourself. âArmitage, I really shouldnât. I canât.â
Not when youâre like this, at least, you add in your mind.
âI wonât do anything, I promise,â he assures you, his face softening, but eyes still as intense. âJust stay by my side.â
Your eyes fall to your hand still in his, and you feel him give you a squeeze. After a moment, you return it. Youâre aware that this can end in one of two ways: itâs either the start of something very interesting, or the end of your career as you know it. Are you really about to risk it all for some fun?Â
âOkay,â you finally give in, and he sighs in relief.
Hux pats the space next to him in his enormous bed, and you walk over to the other side of it, lying down on top of the blanket. He holds your hand again and closes his eyes, starting to drift off.Â
â â â â â
The next morning, Hux wakes up to a dull pang of pain behind his eyes. He squints as he takes in his surroundings. When did he get to bed? Did he forget to close the blinds last night? Sitting up in the bed, he sees the patch from his forehead fall into his lap. Did he get that himself from the refresher? Why canât he remember anything from last night?Â
He throws his legs over the edge of the bed, seeing that heâs still wearing his uniformâs trousers. On the nightstand is a glass of water and some pills which he assumes to be aspirin. He downs it, drinking the whole thing. Why is he so thirsty?Â
His eyes travel over the bed when he realises that not only is the other side ruffled, as if someone had slept there, but thereâs some mechanicâs overalls neatly folded at the end of the bed too. He freezes, racking his brain for any events of the night prior, but itâs all a blur.
Suddenly he hears some clinking sounds from the kitchen. Sniffing the air he also smells food. Just as heâs about to get up to investigate, you come walking through the door, and his heart skips several beats. Youâre only wearing a tank top and shorts, showing much more skin than heâd ever seen from you, and he immediately decides that he likes what he sees.Â
âOh, youâre up,â you say, coming to a halt just as you pass the door, suddenly very self-conscious of how his eyes are essentially eating you up. âI made breakfast, and caf. Are you feeling any better?â
He doesnât answer, instead looking down at the floor. You being here, dressed like this, does that mean that last night you twoâŚ? And if so, why couldnât he remember any of it?!Â
Given his lack of response, you walk around the bed and stand in front of Hux, looking at him with worry.
âHey, are you okay?â you ask, your hand coming up to his forehead. You sigh in relief when you notice his fever is almost gone, but you donât miss how he tenses up at your touch. So if heâs back to normal again⌠âA-Armitage?â
Hux straightens up suddenly at the use of his name, and looks at you with a ferocity you hadnât seen before. You instinctively take a step back, and immediately regret it when you see the hurt cross his face for a split second. Huxâs eyes fall and go to your hand which had just been on his forehead moments ago. A scowl spreads on his face as he carefully takes your wrist and brings it up to his face to inspect the bruising that spreads from the back of your hand to almost the middle of your forearm.
âWho did this to you?â he asks through gritted teeth, clearly upset.Â
âYou did,â you answer, and he looks up at you in disbelief. âYou donât⌠remember anything from last night?â
âI donât,â he groans, and when he looks back up at you, his ears burn in the cutest shade of pink. âSince I donât remember, I have to ask⌠Did we⌠last night?â
Your cheeks get set ablaze as you shake your head, biting your lip. When he sighs in relief, you feel your heart sink momentarily, but it resumes its erratic beating with his next words.Â
âIâd hate myself if something happened and I didnât remember it the next day,â heâs quick to clarify, still not letting go of your hand. âAnd about this⌠Iâm sorry.â
You donât think that apologies are something that comes easy to Hux, so you know you should just take it as such and shut up, but you canât help your blabbering, trying to make him feel better for some reason.
âDonât worry about it, I bruise easily,â you say with a sheepish smile. âBesides, Iâve had worse. Iâll survive.â
âWorse?â Hux asks, concerned for you and at the same time enraged at the thought of someone else hurting you.Â
âYeah, look at this,â you reply, removing your hand from his to lift your shirt up a little, while the other pulls down the hem of your shorts ever so slightly, to show him a scar that goes from above your hip bone up and around your ribcage. âThis one I got from when an engine fell on me.âÂ
So you meant work accidents and not someone else laying a hand on you. Hux feels the earlier rage dissipate as he takes in your scar, and the way you so easily bared yourself to him.Â
Being pulled towards him by your hips, you watch in complete shock when Hux places the softest of kisses on your scar, then traces it with his fingers. Heâs so close, you wonder if he can hear your heart pounding against your ribcage.
âShall we get breakfast then?â he asks, suddenly very matter-of-factly, and stands up. âWouldnât want the caf to get cold after all.â
Hux walks past you to the wardrobe, getting out of your sight as he stands behind the open door. You take a moment to control your breathing and imagination, then walk towards the kitchen.Â
When he joins you on the stools, you notice he changed into more comfortable clothes, and you pass him his mug and a plate of eggs and bacon.
âI can also make some porridge if you think youâd stomach that better?â you offer.
âThis is perfect,â he retorts, and starts eating.Â
You prop your hand on your elbow for a second, just taking in this moment which seems⌠strangely domestic. And peaceful. It feels like something you could get used to.
Snapping back to reality, you check the time on the microwave, and scramble to your feet.
âAh, kriff! Iâm so late!â you start running back and forth, gathering your things. You quickly slip into your overalls and jump into your boots without even tying them up. You appear once more next to Hux, whoâs still calmly enjoying his breakfast.
âYou better take the day off. I donât want to see you around, you hear me?â you tell him, pointing at him with a scolding finger. âDrink plenty of water and stay in bed, okay? Message me if anything comes up.âÂ
Before you realise what youâre doing, you place a quick kiss to his cheek, say your goodbyes and dash out the door, leaving a very perplexed Hux in the kitchen.
Itâs only as youâre rushing down the halls that you realise not only what youâve done but also how this must look to the passers-by: someone getting out of a high ranking officerâs room with rather dishevelled hair, not having even put on your clothes properly. You swallow your pride though, ignoring all the looks you get, and run as fast as you can to your room to get changed.Â
When you finally make it to the workshop, itâs no surprise to see your supervisor there, and heâs fuming. You try to sneak by to your workstation somehow, but he sees you and calls you over to his office, where he gives you an earful about impunctuality and responsibility and yadda yadda yadda. Then he goes on about how highly irregular this behaviour is from you since youâve always been a diligent worker, and you better think twice before not appearing for work next time.Â
You bite your tongue and let it all pass over you. As long as you finish your work within the deadline, thereâs no real risk here.Â
When your boss finally lets you go, you rush to your droid and get to work immediately. The next couple of rotations youâre immersed in your job, taking shift after shift to catch up on everything you still have to get done. In all this time, thereâs no messages from Hux, and youâre glad, because you would probably say things to him that youâd regret later if you saw him right now. Getting so behind schedule in the first place is kind of his fault. Sure, you never told him that you were losing precious hours of work, but you didnât think itâd get this far. That you would come to enjoy his company and hope he enjoyed yours, to the point where he had asked you to spend the night.Â
So, right now, you donât want to see him, not until after the deadline. But the universe has other plans for you yet again, as it is the day before it that you see Hux again.Â
You had told him he should message you. He could have gone and sent a Trooper for you like last time. But no, what does this guy do? Comes to get you personally.
If it wasnât for your droid, you wouldnât even have seen him coming because youâre currently head-first inside a cockpit, trying to reach some cables. But its beeps alert you, and you spring up so hastily that you hit your head on the dashboard.
With a hiss and rubbing over the spot you just hit, you get out of the ship, where Hux and two of his Troopers are waiting.Â
âGeneral Hux,â you greet with a polite smile, âWhat can I do for you?â
âCome with me,â he orders, and for a moment you look at him in disbelief.Â
Just what is he getting at now? No greeting, no nothing? Just ordering you around again, in front of your crew? Making you lose even more hours of work? Oh, two can play that game.
âNo,â you retort after a scoff.
He comes to a halt and turns around slowly, his eyes narrowed at you in a warning glare.Â
âI beg your pardon?â he asks, his whole body language telling you to measure your next words very carefully, but instead, you slightly lift your chin in a defiant gesture.Â
âThen beg.âÂ
Hux curls his fists at his side, and the Troopers lift their blasters to aim at you, but he lifts one hand, and they lower their weapons, but not without giving each other a look behind the General.Â
At this point the whole workshop is so silent, youâre sure youâd be able to hear a needle drop onto the metallic floor. Even the TIE fighters in the hangars around you seem to roar more silently.Â
âI am the General in charge of this base and you will listen to me!â he suddenly yells, and you avert your eyes. You canât believe he just pulled rank on you.Â
Letting the tool you were holding fall into the toolbox with a clank, you walk up to him, still not looking him in the eyes.
He slightly shakes his head at you, then turns on his heels and heads for the hallway, with you in tow and the Troopers at the end.Â
Hux takes a different route than expected; instead of taking you to his quarters, which are pretty far away, he heads to the office wing, finding an empty conference room and getting in. He slams the button on the panel for the blinds, and the inner windows dividing the room and the hallway go dark.Â
âNo interruptions,â he instructs the Troopers through gritted teeth, then closes the door.Â
You find yourself in the rather dark room now, alone, with a seemingly very angry General. He suddenly turns around and takes quick steps towards you, pushing you back against the conference table and trapping you between his arms.
âDonât you dare defy me like that again in front of the others,â he threatens you.Â
âDefy you?â you say with a wry smile, crossing your arms in front of your chest. âYou donât get to order me around like your Stormtroopers. You can ask nicely, you know? Or just, I donât know, like a normal person?âÂ
He groans, slamming his fist onto the table, which startles you. You donât like this attitude at all, so you push him back and take a step to the side.
âGeneralâ No, Armitage,â you try softening him up by using his name, and it seems to be working. âWhat even are we?â
He starts walking towards you again, slowly backing you up against the wall this time.Â
âIf this is just a game to you, thenââ you start, your hands on his chest in an attempt to push him off, but you donât actually put any strength into it because you know what you actually want. So you let yourself be pushed further, your heart pounding with every step backwards you take. âThen letâs just stop right here. But if youâre serious about this, you need to tell me, pleaseâŚâ
By now, Hux is absolutely losing it, and he finally pins you against the wall, hands on either side of your face, eyes looking down into yours.
"This isn't easy for me,â he says through gritted teeth. âIâ I've neverâ You matter to me. And, maybe you deserve better than someone like meâ"
Heâs cut off when you pull him closer by the collar, shaking your head, somehow not fazed by his gaze that's ripping you bare.
"I deserve youâ everything of you, I want it,â you breathe.Â
With that, Huxâs last thread of self-control snaps, and he presses his body against yours, smashing his lips on yours. The kiss is heated, sloppy and messy, but you wouldnât have it any other way. Finally youâre able to show just how much youâve been longing for each other.Â
The General slips his hands under your thighs, pulling you up against the wall. You gasp in surprise and he uses that to press his tongue against yours. You hook your ankles behind him, both your hands roaming each other in desperation.Â
When you finally break for air, youâre panting, but Hux attacks your neck next, and heâs relentless. He spends what feels like an eternity and yet nowhere near enough kissing, biting, licking every inch of your skin he can reach. Youâre sure the grip of his hands on your legs will leave bruises again, but this time you find yourself looking forward to them.Â
Once Hux seems satisfied, he nuzzles his face into the crook of your neck, his shoulders rising and falling quickly with his ragged breathing.Â
âWhen you showed me that scar,â he whispers against your skin. âI thought I was gonna take you then and there.â
He leans his head back only enough to look at you, and the intensity of his eyes sends a shudder to your very bones.
âIâll map every inch of your skin, every scar, mole and freckle, and mark it up. I want all of you,â he growls, and youâre not sure if itâs supposed to be a threat or a promise; youâre just glad that heâs holding you in place because your knees have long since given out.
You cup his face, and bring him in for another kiss. This time itâs much slower, gentler, but just as deep.Â
âIâd like that,â you breathe into his lips, and he smiles.Â
When he finally lets you down, you have to hold onto Hux because of how wobbly your legs are.Â
âYou good?â he asks, his hands on the underside of your arms to hold you.
âYeah,â you reassure him, and have to choke back a laugh when you look up at him.
âWhat?â he questions with an amused little smile.Â
âCome here, lemme fix your hair. Youâre quite a mess,â you say, and he leans down so you can smooth out his hair as best as you can.Â
âWell, you should see yourself,â he chuckles as he returns the favour.
Once youâre both more or less presentable, you walk to the door. Before Hux opens it though, he takes your hand one last time in his and brings it to his lips, kissing your knuckles.
âSee you tonight?â he asks, hopeful.
âCanât wait,â you say with a wink.
â â â â â
Bonus:
When you make it back to your table in the workshop with a dreamy look on your face, your co-worker brings her hand to her mouth with a gasp.
âWhat?â you ask her, looking around in surprise, trying to find the source of her horror.
âReally? The General?!â she whisper-shouts, gesturing to you to follow her.
She guides you to the little supply closet at the end of the workshop and rummages in a box for a clean rag.
âWhat do you mean? Was it so obvious?â you ask, your cheeks still ablaze from before.
âObvious?â she repeats rhetorically, handing you the rag and a little pocket mirror. âHoney, you can see those hickeys all the way from Coruscant.â
âWait, what?â you blurt out and look into the mirror. Sure enough, the General made sure you wonât be able to walk around the base without a turtleneck for several rotations. He went absolutely ham.
âGha!â you shriek, tying the rag around your neck like a scarf. âIâm gonna kill him!â

5. Coriolanus Snow (The Hunger Games: Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes) X Female Reader - Angst/Fluff (enemies to lovers trope)

Coriolanus though, he only married you to get another step closer to becoming Panem's next president.
6. Jaskier (The Witcher) X Female Reader - Slight Angst/Fluff (Inspired by: Labour by Paris Paloma)
Jaskier and Geralt stop at a small tavern as they were traveling through a small town. They were both glad to be able to rest for a short while, and grab something to eat and drink before trying to find some place to stay for the night. Jaskier was having a grand ol' time, until you walked right up on stage. With a small frown and sad eyes, you sing your song, and Jasker is mesmerized by you instantly.

But, is this just a beautiful friendship, or is there something sweeter bubbling underneath the surface?
8. Kori/Starfire (Teen Titans) X GN Reader - Fluff

9. Anakin Skywalker (Star Wars) X Female Reader - Mini Angst/Fluff (competition/bet trope)
You and Anakin finally get to have a small break from missions and boring Jedi meetings. You and Anakin travel to a planet where - similar to Tatooine - loves pod racing. 10. Harry Hart (Kingsman) X Fluff Reader - Angst/Fluff

---
To anyone who reads this, you do not have to participate if you do not want to. I just thought it would be fun to make a poll. I haven't done one in a while, and don't really know what to make it about. XD

Nightmares (Armitage Hux x Reader)
Summary: Armitage has a nightmare but youâre there to comfort him.
Warnings/Tags: memories of child abuse, hurt/comfort, some angst but really mostly fluff, gn!reader (let me know if I missed anything!)
Words: 1,057
Authorâs Note: so, uh, this is my first fanfic ever! Iâm super happy to take constructive criticism but please be nice -- Iâm sensitive đ
This is just entirely self-indulgent because Iâve had this scenario in my head for months and I just finally had to get it out. I hope you enjoy it!
Armitage was shaking. His mind had gone blank, no thoughts except trying to block his fatherâs next blow. It was useless of course. Brendol was so much bigger and stronger, and running now would only make the punishment even worse later. Armitage squeezed his eyes shut, trying to numb himself to the feeling of Brendolâs hands against his face again and again. His fists were so large and meaty and unbelievably hot. Or maybe that was just Armitageâs pale skin, reacting to both the violence inflicted upon it and the tide of anger and fear that was rising steadily inside him, flushing his extremities as adrenaline coursed through his blood.
But then the steady pummeling began to fade, the feeling of his fatherâs fists growing fainter. Now there were new hands. Smaller hands. Cooler hands. And there was a voice.
âArmitage!â the voice was so sweet, quavering with worry. The gentle hands pressed against his overheated cheeks, the grounding reality of the skin-to-skin contact slowly pulling him from the hell to which his unconscious mind had decided to deliver him.
He blinked his eyes open slowly, adjusting to the soft darkness in the room. His vision was almost⌠watery. Had he been crying? As his eyes focused, they found your face in front of his, eyes wide with worry, your hands still pressed to his face.
âArmitageâŚâ you said again, more quietly this time, realizing your attempt to free him from his own mind had worked. You moved your hands, carefully brushing lingering tears away from the faint freckles that dotted his face. He had been crying.
His mind gained clarity more slowly than his vision, portions of his thoughts still caught in the shadowy tendrils of the dream. He closed his eyes again, focusing of the feeling of your soft palms pressed against his skin. Reaching up, he cupped your hands in his, pulling them gently from his face and intertwining his fingers with yours. He took a deep breath, just like you had taught him, and opened his eyes again.
The parts of his brain that had not yet broken free from the terror of the dream tried to convince him that you too were merely a figment of his dreaming mind, an imaginary balm sent to comfort him momentarily only to leave him all the more devastated when he finally woke up alone. But you were still there, looking at him with the same concerned expression. Thatâs when he noticed that there were thin, sparkling tear tracks on your own cheeks, faintly illuminated by the starlight that crept into the room.
He lifted one of his hands from where it lay folded with yours to echo your earlier gesture. He cupped your cheek carefully, brushing the tears from your face. Your gaze relaxed a little then, and it was your turn to close your eyes, leaning into his touch.
âWas it your father again?â you asked quietly after a moment, your gaze focused on his face again, searching his expression for the answer, even though you already knew it. Armitage nodded slowly, not yet sure he could trust his voice not to break. He swallowed, trying to steady himself. No one else ever saw him like this. On the bridge, he was composed and authoritative. With his engineers, he was organized and knowledgeable. With his officers, he was professional and controlled. But here, in his chambers, he was a frightened child again, helpless against his fatherâs rage. He was crying and shaking, unsteady and unraveled. But you folded him in the warmth that seemed to flow from you as easily as light from a star. You wrapped him up in your compassion, your understanding. Your love. a comfort he thought he would never feel, that he thought he would never deserve to feel. Yet here you were all the same. Holding him in the dark and pulling all his broken pieces back together again. He had to tell you.
âIt was my father, andâŚâ Armitage had never been good at expressing affection, or even fondness. The example of his father and the strict professionalism of the Order had stripped him of his vulnerability long ago. But he could feel it beginning to bloom again, encouraged by the sunlight in your smile and tended by your gentle hands. So he tried again: âbut the worst part wasâŚâ He faltered again, feeling his voice break. You didnât rush him, just continued to hold his hands in yours, absently running your fingers in circles against his skin.
âThe worst part was that for a moment I thought you were just a dream as well.â It all spilled out in a rush, pouring from his mouth before he could choke on the delicate, vulnerable words. Your fingers stilled as you processed his hurried confession. When the full meaning of his words finally hit you, he barely had time to react.
You launched yourself against him, wrapping your arms around him, completely enveloping him in your comforting scent and warm presence.
âIâm here,â you whisper in his ear, the quiver in your voice suggesting that you might be crying again. âI promise. Iâm here.â
Armitage buried his face in your neck, letting his tears fall against your skin as he pulled you into him, wanting you to be as close as possible. This time though, the tears werenât from anger or fear, but from a feeling that was so much lighter, so much more⌠lovely than anything heâd felt before. He didnât have a name for it yet, but he knew he only felt it when he was with you.
He wasnât sure how long the two of you stayed like that, wrapped up in each otherâs arms, just breathing. Eventually he laid back down against the mattress, bringing you with him and holding you firmly against his chest. You were real. You were real. You were real. The weight and warmth of your body against his helped him assure himself it was true. You curled into him, sighing contently as he ran a hand through your hair. After a few moments, he felt your breathing deepen as you fell back into the waiting embrace of sleep. He followed soon after, no longer haunted by memories of his past, but dreaming only of you and of your future together.

It´s all practical
Hey! So, I just rewatched the Star Wars sequels and my crush on Hux returned so here goes nothing.
This story happens in the 9th episode when Finn, Poe and Chewie discover Hux is the spy, reader is with them when this happens.
Summary: While rescuing Chewie, your friends and you discover who the spy for the Resistance is, and you refuse to let more people die if you can help it.
Warnings: canon violence, mentions of trauma and sadness, fluff and I think that´s it.
Relationship: Armitage Hux x gn!reader
You heard Finn and Poe´s fight in the distance. They were standing beside you, but you were inside your mind, trying to cope with the idea of dying. Because the fact was, you were about to die. You had managed to find Chewie, but the stormtroopers found you when Poe got hurt. Now they were pointing blasters at you, ready to fire.
You took your mind to your family: your parents, your brother, your friends. You wanted them to be the last thing you saw. Their faces, their-
-Actually- You heard a familiar voice behind you- I would like to have the honor- It was Hux. Of course. You didn´t even get time to close your eyes as you heard shots, but⌠you weren´t dead. Wait, what?
The four of you turned around to see all stormtroopers on the ground and Hux holding a blaster. Your gaze went to his face immediately. He seemed almost scared. He was certainly nervous.
-I´m the spy- WHAT THE KRIFFING HELL?!
-I knew it was you!- Poe yelled. Yeah, right.
-No, you didn´t!- Finn answered back.
You didn´t know how to react when reality slapped you across the face.
-We have to get out of here, now- You motioned your friends to hurry and ran closely behind Hux.
There was no time for questions, no matter how many you had.
-Here! You don´t have long!- Hux´s face seemed honest. He was normally hard to read, at least the few times you had seen him, but now he looked almost⌠with hope.
-Wait!- Poe yelled- Why are you helping us?- He asked what everybody had been wanting to ask.
-I don´t care if you win- he basically spat- I need Kylo Ren to lose-.
-That sounds fair enough- you said honestly. You swore you saw a small smile form in Hux´s lips at your response. Chewie was already inside the Falcon, getting everything ready. Poe and Finn had started running when Hux spoke.
-Wait! Shoot me, in the arm, or they´ll know- Poe grabbed the blaster and was ready to shoot when you stopped him.
-NO! We are NOT leaving him here! They will kill him!- You said immediately.
-But we can´t just bring him with us!- Finn said.
-We can and we will, I wasn´t asking. Lets´go- You said and motioned Hux to follow you, but he didn´t move.
-Come on! We don´t have time!- You were desperate, you had seen enough people die, you knew way to many people that didn´t breath no more, and if you could avoid that for anyone else you certainly would, even if that someone was Hux.
Hux was straight up lost, he had never been this confused. Why in the world would you, Y/N from the Resistance, care if he lived or died? You saw that confusion on his face, so you grabbed him by the arm and started moving.
-NO! I can´t leave- He said. You knew he wanted to, you could see it in his eyes, but there was something holding him back.
-Why not?!- You asked, starting to lose your patience. He lowered his face, looking almost embarrassed.
-I⌠I have a cat, I can´t leave her- He said in a whisper, you were sure you had been the only one that heard it. He was expecting you to laugh. Why the hell did he say that?! It was the truth, that was the only reason he wanted to stay, but he was sure you were gonna abandon him now, like everybody had done.
You held his arm tighter and ran⌠inside.
-Where is she?!- You asked as you ran. He had to shake his head to clear his mind, still wondering what the hell was happening. He finally regained his composure and ran next to you, leading the way to his room.
None of you said a word as you ran, you seemed to be⌠connected. It was hard to put it in words. You didnât need to tell him nothing, when he needed to stop or to look out, he understood, and the same for you.
You let go of his arm as you both started speeding up, and he felt his skin complaining, already missing your touch. What the hell was wrong with him? He let his mind wander a bit, as he automatically knew how to get to his chamber. Why were you helping him? Why didn´t you even question going for Millicent? Why was his mind so focused on you? He was always thinking of things, of plans, of ideas, he never really though about people, not in a good way at least. It was always how stupid Ren was, how useless the stormtroopers were, never how good someone seemed, or how pretty they were⌠STOP. He ordered his mind.
He quickly opened the door and grabbed Millicent. She meowed happily at him and even stared lovingly at you. For a split second he allowed himself to look at you. You had to be the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his life. The biggest smile he had seen in oh so many years. You were smiling at his cat, getting closer and closer to him. He felt your breath in his arm as you said hi to the furry animal that he was holding, he felt his heart skip a beat. You were so close he forgot how to breath, literally.
-Let´s go- You said and continued to run. He followed closely behind. It was now your turn to admire the guy. You had seen him before, never this close though. He was⌠handsome. There was no point in denying that. Like, really handsome. And the moment you heard that the reason why he didn´t want to leave was because he didn´t want to leave his cat you felt your heart jump inside your chest. You felt your cheeks heat up every time he took a turn or did anything remotely agile. You would have slapped yourself right there if you hadn´t been in such a rush.
You were running so fast you counted at least three times you almost slipped like a penguin. But you finally made it. You both ran into the Falcon and you yelled.
-We´re here! GO- The ship immediately started moving and you both dropped to the floor in between heavy breaths.
-What´s her name?- You asked smiling in your tiredness.
-Millicent- He answered, offering you the first smile you had ever seen in him. Your cheeks betrayed you, and so did your heart as it started do beat even faster than when you were running. You smiled back, of course. And he, yet again, forgot how to breath. It was almost like his body wanted time to stop so that he could stare a little longer, and apparently the way to do that was to stop breathing.
-I love it- You answered honestly.
Everything happened so quickly you could barely remember it now. You had all decided to go to the Resistance base to drop Hux and you. They would go follow the coordinates the blade had given, and you would help Hux settle and gather any useful information he could provide.
Before you knew it, your friends had already left, and you were in your room waiting for Leia to appear so that you could talk about the new guy, Hux.
He was sitting in the middle of that branch-made tent you had spent two weeks putting together. His leg was bouncing in stress. And Millicent was asleep in your bed. At least someone was relaxed. He turned his head so fast he could have pulled a muscle, but the feeling of something rubbing against his leg freaked him out. He looked down and spotted a white cat with black spots.
-Oh, that´s Wolfie- you said happily. So you understood, that´s why you agreed to go get Millicent. He felt a bit of happiness before bitterness filled his heart.
He was sure Leia was gonna slap him, or shoot him, or kill him. Maybe they would torture him for information, maybe they would lead him to the middle of everyone and throw rocks at him. He felt a bit of hope because you were there, but he was preparing himself for the worst.
-Leia- You said with a sigh and ran to her arms. She hugged you back and smiled.
-Welcome- the older woman said- And welcome to you too- Oh, she was talking to him. He stood up way faster that he should have. His eyes were glued to the floor, but in a small glance he saw a⌠smile? Coming from Leia? Directed to him? It was probably a torture method, yes, that had to be it.
-ThâŚthank you- He said quietly.
-You don´t have to worry, I won´t slap you, or shoot you, and certainly I won´t kill you, that´s not something I do- Were his ears deceiving him? Why not? He certainly deserved it. But, wait! Was she reading his mind?
-We are not ones to determine what you do or don´t deserve, what´s important is that you´re here and you are both safe. It will take a while for the others to get used to your presence, and I won´t lie, some may never forgive you, some may try to harm you and honestly, I wouldn´t blame them. It will be hard, but I´m sure Y/N will make the best out of this situation, they will certainly help you fit in, and in time, who knows, maybe you´ll find a family here - Leia finished with a strong but gentle voice. She left.
No one had been this kind to him in so so long, he didn´t even remember the last time anyone had talked to him like that. He felt a tear escape his eyes. This was Kylo Ren´s mother? Where the hell did he get⌠everything from? Before he could react, he felt it again, your touch. You were softly wiping the tear that ran on his cheek.
-Hey, how about I help you settle so we can talk and you can rest. Tomorrow I´ll show you around- He nodded softly.
-There´s not much sleeping space, so I hope you´re okay with sharing this room with me. Sure, it´s not as big and luxurious as yours back there, but it´s pretty cosey-.
-You are letting me stay here? With you?- He said before he could even think.
-Well yeah, silly. Unless you want to sleep on a tree branch- You giggled softly at his stunned face. You didn´t precisely trust him, but he was in your territory now, there was no way he could harm you, and you couldnât think of any reason why he would want to. After all, he was known for doing what it takes to survive, you knew he was smart, and it would be very stupid to break your trust. Even if you couldnât trust him yet, you could trust his survival instinct. And he seemed to give off a vibe that just, draw you towards him, you wanted him to be happy, you didn´t know why though.
-Hey- He said softly, trying to find the right words- listen, I⌠I know you don´t trust me and you have no reason to. Truth be told, I don´t exactly trust you either. This is all new for me- He said with a hint of sadness in his voice that crushed your heart- I won´t stop to regret and rethink everything that I have done, I want to survive, I want to live. And if being here will do that then here is where I´ll be. I want to clarify I´m under no intention of fooling you, so I tell you now that I´m not here because it´s the right thing, I´m here because I have to be, but I do hope I end up enjoying it, at least a bit-.
He hadnât talked this much in what felt like years. It was nice to be heard.
You let his words sink in. You liked his honesty, you liked that he admitted he wasn´t there to do good, he was there so that they wouldn´t kill him, and to you that seemed like a pretty good reason to be there.
-Hux-
-Armitage, my name is Armitage- You smiled at that.
-Armitage- he felt goosebumps all over his body when you said his name- I don´t expect you to change by morning, I personally don´t believe in good or bad people, we are just people. I can promise you it´s gonna be really hard, people will hate you the moment they see you here. Many will fight to try to kick you out, but I won´t let them. I refuse to let any more people die. That´s why I insisted to bring you here. But Iâm confident you will find a lot more happiness here than back there. I don´t know if you deserve to be happy, but that doesn´t really matter. You´re here now and that´s that. So I tell you now, knowing how things are, that you can trust me with whatever. If you want to talk, if you need help⌠I know it was horrible there, I know you must have many traumas, so I don´t expect you to be perfect, but make no mistake, I do expect you to change. If you betray me or anyone here you will be harshly punished, not in the same way the First Order would, we don´t do that here, but still. You will work not just physically to earn your place here, you will have to earn our trust. But I saw it, I don´t know what it was, I saw something in your eyes. I know you want to change, and that is the first step-.
It was true. He wanted to change, because if he didn´t he knew staying here would be hell. It was all practical, certainly you had nothing to do with it. And certainly the fact that he had never had so many people smile at him in years, thing that made him burst with happiness, had also nothing to do with him wanting to change. No, it was all practical, for his survival.
That was a lie that wouldn´t last long in his mind, not when the most amazing person he had ever met was in front of him, giving him the chance of a new life, a better one, maybe even a happy one.

Tropetember Day 12 - Getting together / Love confession / First kiss / Break-up/Make-up / Fix-it
Limp away with me
Pairing: Armitage Hux x GN!Reader
Fandom: Star Wars
Rating: Teen and up
TW: Injuries, implications of rough childhood
AN: Day 12 of @tropetember. So, this is quite rough and holds a lot of potential for fleshing out into a proper story, whether that's just a longer one or a multi-chapter. Is that something anyone would be interested in? Fix-it fic cos they did General Hugs dirty
Allegiant General Pryde has shot General Hux. Lucky you're the Surgeon General really.
Find this story on Ao3 here.
Word Count: 1.6k
âAllegiant General Pryde just shot General Hux.â
Your breath catches and you allow yourself a moment to close your eyes. Next moment, youâve grabbed your bag and are focused back on task.
âCollect the body,â you direct them, âand bring it to the medbay autopsy lab. Carefully.â
You and Armitage had prepared for this eventuality. One of the advantages of having a partner in the medical core was that the chances of surviving treason were much higher.
Whilst neither of you had entered First Order service willingly (no matter what Hux said, you had both been forced into it), Armitage had quickly excelled and embraced his duties in an effort to outshine his father. To try and prove himself as worthy. You, on the other hand, had enacted the only act of rebellion against your family that you would be able to survive. You had chosen to enrol in the medical core rather than aiming for command. If you had to be a part of this monstrous cause, you would try to save as many as you could.
Youâd worked your way quickly up to the rank of Surgeon General and had been stationed on the Supremacy for a number of years. Thankfully, youâd survived the reign of Snoke and, so far, had survived Renâs reign of terror. It had been a blessing that Hux had been reassigned to the vessel from the Finaliser. You enjoyed each otherâs company and it was helpful to be able to train on your self-defence with someone who wasnât trying to beat the stuffing out of you to make a point. He was a good outlet for a lot of energy in other ways too.
You glance up from checking you have all your equipment when you realise the orderlies havenât moved. You turn your most piercing stare on them.
âDid I stutter?â
They look at each other until one of them pulls up their big boy panties and says âhe was shot for being a spy.â
You laugh. Mostly at the fact that one looks like he wants to cry and the other like heâs about to collapse. They donât need to know that though.
âYes, by Allegient General Pryde who is well known for being a thorough and competent leader. Oh wait. No, heâs not. Heâs had a grudge against Hux since he reappeared from whatever hell hole he had been hiding in. I said go fetch me the body! Now!â
They scarper out and you take another deep breath to centre yourself before busying yourself again with grabbing supplies and the emergency make-a-break-for-it kit you stored in your office. You then straighten your uniform, brace yourself and head out into the chaos of the medical bay.
---------------
Armitage is deathly pale when he finally is brought down to you but you swiftly move into action, infusing blood and bacta and checking the depth of the wound. Youâd both known that, were he to be discovered, the weapon he was likely to be shot with would pierce the thin body armour he wore beneath his uniform. Unfortunately, it was the maximum thickness he could get away with before it became noticeable but you had both agreed that some bleeding would sell the ruse. You just didnât like it.
Checking out the wound, you sigh out a quick breath of relief when you realise it is not too deep and hasnât damaged any of the major blood vessels or organs. Though gruesome to witness, it was mostly superficial.
You lose yourself in your efforts, remaining undisturbed in the autopsy room, until youâre happy that heâs stable for travel. Itâs at that point that you revive him, despite the fact heâs going to be in a world of pain.
He slowly blinks into reality with a scowl and a hiss of pain. You try to soothe him as best you can but there isnât much you can do right now. You need him mobile to get to the shuttle and someone would notice you carrying him.
Gently running your hand through his hair you tell him âcome on sweetheart. I know it hurts but weâve got to move.â
Despite the pain, he seems alert and nods, letting out a grunt of agreement as he allows you to help him sit up and then stand. You gather the spare stormtrooper armour youâd pilfered a few months ago and quickly get him dressed up in it before leading the way swiftly to the small landing bay where Armitageâs private shuttle was stored.
You whisper a thanks to whatever Gods there are that the chaos on board the vessel means that there is noone around and you manage to get the pair of you on board with little drama. In fact, the whole escape into hyperspace is amazingly smooth and once youâre away with your course set, you sag a little in relief.
Or at least, you do until you see Armitageâs slumped frame and quickly grab him and get him moved to the small bedroom to continue his care and knock him back out while he heals.
Youâre just about to inject the sedative when he grabs your hand, making you look at him.
âYou know you are my world, donât you?â he asks quietly.
You smile softly and lean forward to press a gentle kiss on his lips. You smile again as you feel him smile against you.
âI do, I wouldnât have committed treason for anything less.â
He rolls his eyes before pressing another gentle peck to your lips and releasing you to get back your work. You take the opportunity to knock him out for now. Itâs how heâll be most comfortable.
And if youâre grinning so hard your face hurts, noone in deep space can see it. They canât see you internally debating whether itâs ethical to dope someone up to get soppy confessions from them in the future either.
---------
It wasnât often that General Dameron of the Resistance found himself in the Outer Rim.
Even 3 years after the end of the war, he was still mostly stuck to the core planets and mid-rim in efforts to support the Senate and help guard the peace which had settled upon the galaxy.
Heâd been on a training mission with a few new recruits for Green Squadron when theyâd been ambushed and theyâd all received some pretty injuries despite eventually winning the battle. Injuries that required attention sooner than they would be able to if they headed back to base.
After a quick argument with Finn via the comms, the squad set course for a local med facility that was gaining a reputation for itâs high quality care.
Poe made sure all his squad were checked out before himself and he was happy that they were all being looked after so well. It was strange. The lead Doctor seemed familiar.
It wasnât until you met his eyes that he realised.
You calmly continued his consultation, gently palpitating the wounds and collecting dressings, something you appeared to be doing more quickly than he was able to collect his thoughts.
âYou!â
You snort. You canât help it.
âYes, me General Dameron.â You gently dab some bacta on some of the smaller cuts. âDid that break heal up correctly?â
He nods a bit dumbly. Youâd been responsible for his care after Ren and a couple of the Stormtroopers had tortured him. Youâd been a welcome relief, if he were honest. In fact, apart from the fact youâd worked for the First Order, he wasnât aware of any accusations against you.
âIâm glad.â You finish wrapping his wrist and nod. âAll done. Your pilots should be ready to go in around 2hrs, just to allow any drowsiness to wear off. I have some spare rooms if you need to stay on planet tonight?â
He thanks you profusely but explains that they are expected back tonight as you head back into the main waiting area. You shake his hand before leaving him and approaching a tall red-head across the room who instantly wraps his arm around your waist and drops a quick kiss on your head. You whisper to him for a few seconds and blue-green eyes suddenly lock with Poeâs before his face breaks out in a smile.
âGeneral Dameronâ Armitage says, approaching slowly and holding out a hand to a shell-shocked looking Dameron. âIâm glad you won. You and your squadrons are welcome to drop in here for treatment if you ever require it and are close by. Free of chargeâ
Poe, for his part, has a LOT of thoughts at this moment. Part of him wants to jump up and arrest him immediately whilst another screams that he was a spy and was seriously harmed because of it. Itâs neither of these things that eventually seals his reaction though. Itâs the loving glance Armitage throws your way as you offer them both coffee, the expression rendering him almost unrecognisable when juxtaposed against the version he used to know.
âThank you.â He finally chokes out. âIâm assuming youâre not known by your old names?â Given the whole living in peace and not being turned into the authorities and all that?â
Hux just laughs.
âYou would be correct. Weâre both going by Y/Nâs motherâs maiden name.â
âOh?â
âYesâ Armitage says, looking far too amused. âWeâre Armitage and Y/N Organa.â
Poeâs jaw drops to the flood. How on EARTH was he going to explain any of this?
Turns out, after it became the top recommended med centre by all members of the Resistance, he didnât have to. He just had to keep pretending he didnât know Hux had survived and not let Finn anywhere near. Poe was good at keeping his mouth shut.
Strange galaxy you live in really. And you couldnât be happier

Track 5 and Hux for the requests please đ apparently Iâm in an angsty mood, youâve got free rein on this. Congrats on your milestone!! All followers are well deserved đĽ°
Alone
Track 5: Landslide by Fleetwood Mac - Give me a character and an angst prompt (or give me free rein) and I'll write a short blurb or headcanons about it.
Armitage Hux x GN! Reader
Here's some angsty goodness for you, bestie! Thanks for your patience đŹ
đźâ¨ mixtape milestone â¨đź
Warnings: angst (as you would expect), minor sexual content, miscommunication, Hux is stupid.
This was a mistake.
Armitage doesn't need to hear you say it. It's hanging in the air around you. It's in the cant of your body away from him, the sheen of your skin. He can only see a sliver of your face from where he lays, watching the way your pulse thrums in your neck as you try to catch your breath.
And he had been so sure. Armitage never did anything without being sure, but for this he had been certain. If he could get you here, to his bed, could get to the point where he'd pull you against him and memorize the feeling of your skin against his palms, he knew that it would be enough.
But it wasn't. He wasn't.
The sheets shift as you turn to face him, covering your body with the fabric gathered in a tight fist. Hiding from him, from the marks he'd left on you. Armitage can still see the shape of his teeth printed against the skin of your neck, and the hot flush of embarrassment seeps into his spine.
Stupid of himâto think you wanted him in any capacity, but especially sexual. So blinded by his own pleasure that he almost believed you enjoyed yourself. That you wanted to be with him.
The thought makes Armitage sick.
Your lips part, a heavy sigh between them. Heavier words are sure to follow.
He steals them from you before you get the chance.
"You should go."
Relief floods your features, mouth falling closed, grateful, maybe, that you didn't have to be the one to say it. Maybe you'll be generous and let him believe the lie he's telling youâthat he didn't want this. That he hadn't been dreaming of the warm flush of your skin when he coaxed you to new heights.
You murmur an agreement, slipping between the sheets. He keeps his eyes pinned on some distant point and ignores the sound of you slipping back into your clothes that, hours ago, he would have killed for the chance to strip off of you.
There's a tepid silence, and Armitage doesn't dare break it. It's been ages since he's felt a sting like this at the back of his throat, the tightness that comes with it.
You're at the door, and he still won't look at you, although he feels the weight of your eyes well enough. A feeling he used to crave.
"Goodbye, General," you mumble with a heavy pause after, leaving the room emptier than it's ever felt before.
Armitage sits straight, digging the heels of his hands into his eyes. There are some lessons he still hasn't learned, no matter how many times they're taught.
He's better off this way. Better without you.
Better alone.

God. OH GOD. I'd love to see him try đłđĽľđĽ˛ @liminalpebble this is perfect in every way!!! You bring me back in his grasp with only these few excellent chosen paragraphs, he's so in character and HOT I can't get over it đĽ°đđ
May I have one for our favorite ginger General Hux?
Well, well, well, you insolent rebel scum,
Have you learned yet to properly respect the First Order? Do you surrender yet to true power, or shall we play this little game a bit longer? Of the two of us, I must add, you are the only one suffering. For me, it is simply an exhilarating game....one which I will always win.
Your willfulness, while frustrating, is admirable and adorable in its futility. That insolent challenge smoldering in your eyes when I visited your cell was just splendid, beautiful even. However, you will be even more beautiful on your knees. The harder you struggle, the more satisfying it will be to see you soften and yield.
There would be lavish rewards for your obedience, pet, but I would be equally generous in my punishments if you continue your resistance.
Yield. Surrender yourself to me and to The First Order. My special attention towards you shall persist regardless. Whether that will bring you pain or pleasure depends upon your choice.
I'll visit again soon, and when I do, I expect answers.
General Hux

Here is my little drabble for Writer Wednesday @autumnleaves1991-blog @clydesducktape
Armitage Hux x GN!Reader
Warnings: Soulmate Au. This is me, angst. Pain. Mentions of an accident.
Word Count: 1541
Soulmates. Everyone wants one, everyone wants to find that extra special person they spend the rest of their life with but itâs so difficult when all you have to go on is the last words they ever say to you tattooed on your body. You had poured over yours for years wondering what it meant, everyone had this vision of spending their whole lives with the right person but fate never worked out that way. Youâd given up anyway, everyone was destined to meet their soulmate at some point, it was just a case of when.
You stared at the tin of soup in your hands, you hated shopping. No one told you as an adult youâd have to feed yourself at least once a day if not more and youâd have to think about it and cook it. Every. Damn. Day. The sound of the tin hitting the bottom of your basket rang out loudly and you looked up hoping not to have disturbed anyone in the quiet shop. There was only one other person near you, a tall gentleman smartly dressed in a suit and he certainly looked too well put together to be shopping here. You looked back at the shelf but the urge to look at him more was almost overwhelming and you ducked your head, turning slightly so you could see him out of your peripheral vision. His shoes were smart and shiny, his suit a rich black, the shirt crisp and white creating the perfect contrast. He shifted slightly and you got a good look at his profile, high cheekbones and light green eyes that were looking at you. He was looking at you. Oh shit. Embarrassment made you feel hot and uncomfortable so you quickly walked round to the next aisle, standing in front of the fridge of ready meals and hoping it would cool you down. You grabbed a lasagne and dumped it in your basket trying to think of what else you needed but nothing was coming to mind.
âHi.â You flinched and looked up momentarily speechless. His bright red hair fell over his brow, his eyes were intense as they looked at you, a slight smirk tugged at his pink lips and you found yourself thinking he was the most gorgeous person alive.
âIâŚumâŚ.ohâŚ.sorryâŚ.hi.â You muttered, feeling the heat creep under the skin on your face wishing the floor would open up and swallow you whole.
âCan IâŚ?â He pointed at the meals you were blocking from him and realisation washed over you.
âOh! Yes of courseâŚsorry.â You sidestepped and watched as he reached across you to retrieve a packet of Macaroni cheese. He was close enough to smell and you couldnât help but breathe him in, the brush of his jacket swiped your arm making goosebumps race over your skin and you shivered slightly. âGood choice.â His head turned to you and you wished you could just keep your mouth shut but when you felt uncomfortable you always spouted nonsense. And now you felt you had to talk yourself out of this. Your eyes rose to meet his amused gaze and before you knew it you were babbling. âI mean I like that meal tooâŚI chose a lasagne today though. I hate cooking, itâs such a chore. I meanâŚIâm not being nosyâŚsorry I rambleâŚ..â You were drowning in air. What was wrong with you? You shifted the basket to your other arm and stuck your hand out offering your name. To your surprise he took it, his skin smooth and soft but his handshake was firm and sure in your grip.
âIâm Armitage. Armitage Hux.â
âHi,â you breathed, caught up in the open expression on his face as his eyes studied your features. You snapped your hand away, realising you've been holding it for far too long. âI havenât seen you here before. I mean not that I make a point of scouting the men that come in here, itâs justâŚ.â You gestured to him. âYou kind of stand out. In a good way!â You almost yelled, your eyes wide. You couldnât believe he hadnât walked away yet, just standing here looking at you holding his macaroni cheese and sandwich.
âI havenât seen you here before either.â
âOh. Oh.â You didnât know what to say, a numbness was creeping over your brain and it was making you feel sluggish and even more stupid.
âHave you lived in this area long?â He asked. He wanted to keep the conversation going. You raised an eyebrow in surprise expecting him to run in the opposite direction long ago.
âA while, the days just kind of all slip into one another, what with work and then coming home to an empty flat and cooking.â
âYou live alone?â He enquired.
âOh I mean I have like 6 housemates and theyâre all burly body guardsâŚ.youâre not a murderer are you?â His laugh was loud and rich and you smiled nervously.
âNo I am not, sorry I was trying to deduce if you were single or not.â Oh.
âI am so very singleâŚâ you murmured.
âThen you wouldnât say no if I asked you out to dinner?â Your brain stuttered, your thoughts scattering, fleeing, leaving you utterly thoughtless and your mouth opened but no sound came out. âYou know, what with you hating cooking and allâŚ.â He trailed off. âYou can say noâŚâ
âNo! I mean yes! I mean Iâd like that.â You smiled slightly as the nerves twisted your stomach into a million knots. âI hate cooking so, yes. I would really like that.â He smiled and it changed his whole face softening that intense demeanour he had just moments before.
âWhat do you like to eat? Iâll let you pick the restaurant.â
âOh, I am so indecisiveâŚ.â You looked him over again and realised you were judging where heâd like to go by the way he was dressed. He could like a greasy burger from a fast food joint for all you knew. âSomewhere that does chips?â He nodded.
âThatâs good, I like chips too.â You smiled shyly as he looked at his watch, his mouth pulling down in surprise. âDamn I need to go, my meeting started 5 minutes ago.â
âWait!â You dug around in your bag quickly scribbling your number down. âHere, otherwise knowing my luck weâd never find each other again.â
âI promise Iâll message you as soon as I can!â You followed him to the tills, noticing he placed your number in the pocket inside his jacket and a warm sensation began to expand through your chest. He paid and turned to you. âEnjoy your lasagne for a family of five. Iâll be seeing you,â he breathed close to your ear with a smirk and you rolled your eyes.
âYou bet I will!â You called after him. Both of you smiled at one another before the door closed after him. You frowned, something he said made your mind race.
âMiss, are you ready to pay?â Said the cashier but you didnât hear her as a cold sensation ran through your body, the basket crashed to the floor at your feet, falling from your numb hands. Everything was muted, like your ears were stuffed with cotton wool, your hands shook as you pulled back your sleeve to see the words scribbled on the inside of your wrist:
Iâll be seeing you.
âNoâŚ.â You were aware someone was trying to talk to you but all you could think of was to get to Armitage. Your legs moved but they were slow, too slow. The door to the shop opened and you saw him stop in the middle of the road, looking down at his wrist. You wanted to shout at him, scream his name but your throat had closed up. He turned to look at you, his eyes meeting yours and you saw the realisation dawn on his face. He took a step towards you, his mouth open to say something when a waft of air ruffled your hair and he wasnât there anymore. The screech of tyres rendered the air around you, tears already sliding unbidden down your cheeks. People shoved past you, voices rose in panic but you didnât register any of it. He had been right there, just seconds ago. His red hair glinting in the sun, his green eyes full of concern for you. But he was the one who had been taken. You flinched as your wrist burned, the writing of the last thing your soulmate would ever say to you began to fade. Everything about him was being erased making your heart flutter in your chest. It pained you to think your soulmate had been around all this time and as soon as you met him, a cruel twist of fate took him from you. Turning away from the accident you found your feet moving, leading you down an alleyway where you stumbled. Your legs gave way and you fell to your knees as the pain of your soul splitting in half engulfed you. A cry ripped your chest echoing against the walls heightening the anguish you were feeling to an almost unbearable pitch. He had been right thereâŚand now he was gone.

Summary
Hux calls the reader a Grease monkey. things dont go down well.
i dont know id this is romantic, humour or crack. the reader is gender-neutral pronouns and there's a tiny bit of swearing
"Your just a little grease monkey I can't be seen with you," Hux said looking down on you.
"We've been flirting for months you could have said something. So to go out with you for real, I need to clean up."
"Don't get in a huff Y/n, you know I want you, but a technician with a General wouldn't be right at a presidential party. Do you even own any other clothes?"
"No, you should know that by now but that's not the point, you're saying you don't enjoy the way I look" jabbing him in the chest.
"No, I love the way you look. i love these eyes, the way your nose wrinkles when you smell something, that cluster of moles that look like a star sign" placing a hand on your hip and the other on your ass. "I'm merely saying that. You maybe need to bring out your high-class side just once. If you get something sorted, let me know, I've got to get back up on deck."He pushes against your finger with his chest, as he leans down to kiss you on the cheek." I do love you Y/N but I've got to keep appearances up there ." His hand Cupping your face before leaving.
------ Later in a hanger, Phasma is taking to Hux about his and y/ns relationship. Her helmet was off, and she was shaking her head.
"So you're telling me that the first person on the entire ship, that actually wants to go out with you and you tell them there not high-class enough." running a metal hand through her hair. " you realise you are a fucking dumbass. Did you ever think you should maybe buy them something different to wear?" Taking a swing, whacking him on the back of the head with the same hand.
"OW, I am not a dumbass."
"In matters of the heart, you are." returning the helmet on " Buy them something to wear then you can show them off on top deck, regardless of them being a grease monkey as you called them!"
meanwhile in your room.
"I'll show him I can be classy. A Generals partner hell wants to show off. Not some little concubine grease monkey."
you look through your old uniforms seeing what fabric there was. you ended up over the next few nights, stealing a thread from the stockroom and cutting up bits of uniform to make a new outfit. The results may be weren't the best but you'd put the effort in to show Hux. After using your full allotted time to wash and do your hair you were clean. You made sure to add some products to your face to highlight the eyes, as he had mentioned he loved them about you.
Going to exit your room to find Hux, your smaller stature runs into something. Hux is in the doorway and lets out a little "oomph" as you step on him.
"Y/n what on earth?" he looks down at you in your homemade outfit, sparkling clean. Bright-eyed and looking like an angel.
"So." You stand back triumphantly "not a grease monkey now am it?"
he takes a step into the room, disregarding the package in his hand, his stance to like an animal hunting prey. Licking his lips he places his arms around you drawing close. " Your 100% not, I'm thinking now this is maybe a bad idea."
"So it's not right? Make up your bloody mind man."
"Oh no, I'm rethinking because I don't think, were even going to make it out of the room with you looking like this." Cupping your ass he hosts you up into a fireman lift. Walking to place you on the bed.
"I think then I'm going to need a new uniform," you say playing with his collar.
"I'm sorry for calling you a Grease monkey Y/N"
"Thank you."
"Can we agree on one thing? He drops you on the bed crawling on top of you. "I think you are at your best with no clothes on at all."
