Surprise! Design for a random Greek myth character that I barely see mention of but found, that I could find exactly 1 pot depiction of, which. the lack of mentions make sense, as she's just been. In Tartarus, except for my beautiful mind where Hermes bails her out and they get her wings back from Achilles. By the way her wings were gifted to Peleus and Thetis who gave them to Achilles. Which makes sense that would be the retrospective concept, given his title of swift-footed, as Arke means swift. I wanted to give her another light and water theme, like her sister, but I didn't want to just do a faded rainbow- So I settled on the look light has reflected through water. smiles -Also note, I did reference drawings by Wolfythewitch for a few of the poses. If I should ? take this down because of that? please tell me.

What is your favorite fun greek god fact?

There are many of them, but the very first one that I could think about right now is that Iris has an evil sister named Arke who betrayed the gods during the Titanomachy and basically became a messenger for the Titans. After the war ended Zeus cut off her wings and imprisoned her in Tartarus.

For Arke it's really a matter of getting him to slow down and see the nuance. At the start of the game, he's not interested in hearing what he sees as excuses for atrocities.

That being said, as the story goes on, he'll be more open to conversation about it, even if he doesn't necessarily agree.

OKAY SO. This is a new-new character, fresh off the press, so I'm still working her out. (also like the entire party follows me here and shhhHHH gotta have a few secrets - it's part of a B-team plot in the same universe as Orion's campaign!).

BUT! Her name is Arke (short for Arkalis), she's a grey heron Aarakocra artificer, who lives in the world that's like - largely water, magic, all that - very much into the advancements of magical technology in her world, adding to inventions and doin' her part, and that's what kinda kicks her off in that direction. She's also a pain in the ass (affectionate - to me), kind of a cynic, would heckle gods if she got the chance, and wants to study everyone like Bugs. also she would love to kiss a girl but god who the hell knows how to do that. But in the meantime she will aid properly in the crafting and preparing of sky ships, work on her own shit (which i am still working on LOL), be on the ready/defenses for any conflict, and -

and well there's some stuff going on in her family history that is kind of keeping her driven? otherwise she might've just fucked off to the furthest corner of the world to tinker around.

also I was working on her playlist and it got kinda SAD real quick which was crazy. horrors? for your local neurotic bird girl? as a treat????
