Wait isn't dark magician always kinda blue? Is there deep lore? I thought the estrogen to make him dark magician girl also made her not blue

The purple DM is yugi's personal one, with the blue DM being the generic one everyone else gets. as a result they use the blue one for all the card art he appears in. drives me bonkers because I LOVE the purple one and I think the blue skin is weird. There's also a red one that is Arkana's and a black one that is Yugi's from the movie
