I just realised this, after re-watching Alice in Borderland for like the 723828372 time.

"I wonder if there's a doctor here" Then the camera pans to Chishiya, with a freaking close up.
Yeah. There was a doctor there actually. I feel so stupid not noticing this earlier 😔

-Some comfort.
A/n: Hi!! This is my first written piece and I’m sorry if it’s bad lol, any tips to write better is appreciated! <3
-no use of y/n, cs I hate that personally. I’m new to the tumblr thing so i apologize if it’s bad. Gn!reader, I don’t think I put any specific pronouns into this, but then again I didn’t proofread it, so apologies in advance.
Pairing- Chishiya shuntarou x reader <3

—“Seems like we’ve lost our partner.”
Chishiya hums, his voice calm and smooth as it always is,but you can catch the small clear glimpse of disappointment in it.
“You were too kind for a game like this, ippei.” He mumbles under his breath, staring at the body of his now dead partner on the floor of his solitary confinement cell, his head exploded off from the collar-blood all over the place. But because of his experience of being a med student, the blood didn’t really bother him-like anything bothered him, really. He was always as calm as a swimming pool.
But for you it was different. It bothered you-a whole lot. Throughout this stupid game you had grown to like ippei, having the thought that he would make it out of this game, like you and chishiya. But he didn’t.
Sniffles coming from chishiya’s side caught his attention, letting out a small hum and turning his head to look at you, hands casually shoved into the pockets of his white jacket.
There you stood beside him, eyes staring down at the scene in front of you, chest lightly heaving as your eyes are already tear filled, your bottom lip trembling as you try to not let any tears fall. His eyes analyze you, watching thoughtfully as he sees the way your fingers twitch at your sides, your eyes slightly wide and pupils slightly dilated. Clearly on the verge of having a breakdown, about to turn into a sobbing mess.
Everything sounds like it’s underwater in your ears, the voices of the other players down the hall are muffled, along with the sound of your breathing, for once even your thoughts are silent. Not even realizing how tears start to stream down your cheeks, unable to tear your eyes away from the body on the floor-the sight of his blood making you feel sick. You couldn’t help it..you knew that ippei killed himself cause he didn’t want to play anymore.
He truly was too sweet for this messed up place, you and chishiya both knew that.
“It’s unfortunate, I know.” Chishiya mumbles as he looks at you, shifting his feet to face you, slightly raising an eyebrow as you don’t move. He’s actually starting to grow concerned about you, he knew you’d cry-but not break like this, it was almost unnerving how you were just standing there.
He says your name, not once, but twice, but it’s as if you couldn’t hear him. It’s only when he lightly grasps onto your shoulder that you turn to look at him, sputtering out a ‘huh?’.
Before he can get a word out you cut him off with a small sob, your hands lifting to wipe your tears, you didn’t like crying, he knew that. He couldn’t help but notice how hard your hands were being with your face, wiping the flowing tears so hard that your cheeks are starting to turn red from the constant touching.
“I-I thought we had it under control…I thought we were all getting out of here together—“ you mutter out to chishiya between sniffles, your body starting to slightly tremble as you try to comfort yourself by wrapping one of your arms around your abdomen while the other continues to stay wiping your cheeks.
He doesn’t let you say another word, unusually bringing a hand out to you and placing it on your shoulder in a soothing manner, trying to be comforting to you. And it was working, honestly.
“He was too kind for this game, but we still have eachother, right?” He hums, just letting you cry, watching as you nod your head in reply, mumbling under your breath. He couldn’t understand your mumbling, but he doesn’t mention it.
To be honest, this was a little heartbreaking to watch. To him, you were too kind for this world to, just like ippei, even though it hasn’t screwed you over yet. He didn’t want it to either. You were too nice, too pure, too kind. He saw how you comforted other players during the game, or another game he met you in a while ago-a spades one to be exact. The same one he met Arisu, tag.
He saw how you dove towards someone else to save them from the tagger and their gun, almost getting yourself killed in the process-but the grin you flashed the lady made it worth it to you. But this was your breaking point, it seems. But he can’t blame you, who knows the amount of people you’ve seen die in these games.
“We’ll get through this. We’re smart aren’t we?” He says with a slight smirk, but it falters slightly as he sees it doesn’t work on you like it has before.
“For ippei?” He draws on, slightly raising an eyebrow at you, and huffs out a breath as he watched you lift your head and nod your head, mumbling back, finally getting your breath back.“For ippei..”
He then just lift his hand to your hair and lightly ruffles it and places it back on your shoulder, guiding you away from the scene. And you let him, knowing you both would protect eachother from now on, you both wanting to get out of this game.

THE MAN YOU FELL IN LOVE WITH:
Chishiya x Reader
Request: Based on EPIC: The Musical “Would You Fall In Love With Me Again”.
—
The night had already fallen when Chishiya returned to The Beach. The blood beneath his soles seeped into the earth, vanishing as though it had never been there. He inhaled deeply before crossing the threshold, securing the hood over his head as he entered the hotel.
He moved through the crowd like a ghost, unnoticed. With his head lowered, he ascended the stairs automatically, letting his legs take him to the only place he wanted to go. When he reached the mahogany door, he raised his bloodstained fist and calmly knocked twice. He waited, and the door opened. He lifted his head, his eyes still hidden beneath the white hood. He sensed the distress in the girl’s face, though she said nothing, merely stepped aside to let him pass, closing the door behind him.
Chishiya calmly sat in the chair beside the door, tilting his head back with his eyes closed, allowing the hood to slip off, revealing his face. He listened to the water running in the bathroom and opened his eyes. He looked at his fists, distractedly scratching some of the blood from his skin. Footsteps. He looked up. He saw her.
With almost careless grace, Y/N knelt before him with a bucket of water and a white towel, which quickly turned red as she began to rub the blood from his knuckles. The silence in the room felt thick, and Chishiya thought he might drown in it. His heart clenched when he realized how mechanical her movements were, almost robotic. He had made her like this.
"Your eyes look tired," she suddenly said. Instinctively, his eyes met hers. He quickly turned away. It had been eight days since he had looked at her.
He didn’t respond. She sighed. He shuddered.
After tending to his hands, the girl brought the towel to his face. He pulled away before she could touch him, standing abruptly and moving away from her.
"Chishiya..." she whispered, still kneeling on the floor.
Her voice echoed in his whole body, and as if it were some kind of shield, he pulled the hood back over his head, moving toward the window. From there, he could see people laughing and drinking by the pool. He shuddered when a hand wrapped around his wrist, but he didn’t have the strength to pull away, allowing himself to enjoy the warmth he had missed for the past week.
Chishiya saw his reflection in the window, feeling incapable of turning around. He took a deep breath, listening to his heart pounding in his chest before he spoke.
"He's dead," he said, looking at his reflection in the window.
"Who’s dead?" she asked.
"Ren." He could almost see the gears turning in Y/N's head.
Ren was a resident of The Beach, someone Chishiya had gone out with that night to play one of those deadly games. Y/N tried to remember. He was the bartender by the pool, but she couldn’t recall speaking to him beyond ordering drinks. She didn’t remember Chishiya having any interaction with him either. Why was he so important?
"The bartender," she stated, unsure.
He nodded.
"Was... was he your friend?" she asked, realizing the absurdity of the question as it left her mouth.
"No," he replied shortly.
Y/N felt trapped. Her boyfriend hadn’t looked her in the eye for over a week and had been acting strange around her, avoiding her in public and coming up with ridiculous excuses to dodge her. She was tired. She tightened her grip on his wrist, trying to get him to turn, urging him to look at her, hoping to find answers in his gaze that he didn’t seem capable of giving her.
"Please..." she whispered, her voice breaking, shattering his heart even more.
He had to turn, even if just to stop the pain in his chest, which grew more intense with every word she spoke. Even with the hood on, he lifted his head to meet her gaze. Contrary to what he expected, the pain in his heart grew sharper when he saw the girl’s face, streaked with tears. He didn’t know when she had started crying. He raised his trembling hands and gently placed them on her cheeks, using his thumbs to wipe away the tears that still fell.
"Don’t cry..." he spoke. More like a plea.
"I just want you to talk to me... You’re so different... What’s wrong?" she said, her words broken and uneven from crying.
Chishiya looked at her in silence for a few moments. He couldn’t keep making her suffer like this.
"I’m not the man you fell in love with," the words tore through his throat like knives, confronting him with a reality he had foolishly thought he was prepared to face.
"What are you saying?" she whispered, raising her hands to press against his still-pressed hands on her face, afraid he might disappear.
"I killed Ren. Him and many others since we arrived here." He spoke, the words flowing from his tongue without being able to stop once his confession began. "Every night, every game… I lie, I betray, and I kill, directly or indirectly, just to survive… just to come back here… to come back to you."
He tried to pull away from her as if his skin were burning. She let him remove his hands from her face, and she intertwined her fingers with his, despite his frantic movements to push her away.
"Let me go, Y/N. What do you think you’re doing?" The man was on the offensive now. He had to distance himself from her, even if it meant hurting her one last time.
A dry laugh escaped from Y/N’s mouth. Chishiya looked at her, confused. She laughed once more, her cheeks soaked with new tears, and for a moment, he feared that Borderlands had finally driven her mad.
She didn’t pull away when she wrapped her arms around his torso, burying her face in his neck. Instinctively, his arms went around her waist, and with his eyes closed, he inhaled that familiar scent in her hair that he had denied himself for the past week.
"Y/N..." he spoke, more calmly now, the girl still in his arms. "I’m not the man you once adored," he whispered, trying to make her understand.
He felt the girl shift a little in his neck.
"If you knew everything I’ve done..." he continued, falling silent abruptly when she lifted her head to look at him, her eyes filled with intensity.
Her brow was furrowed, and she seemed deep in thought.
"I don’t want to know. I don’t care," she finally spoke, not breaking eye contact with him, as if she wanted her words to be seared into his memory. "Everything you’ve done… You did it to come back here, to come back to me..."
Chishiya tried to process her words, his mind working slowly as he immersed himself in the glow of her gaze. How he had missed her.
"I’m not the man you knew before," he whispered, trying to make her see, before she interrupted him, her voice firm.
"I will fall for you over and over again, I don’t care how, where, or when, no matter what you’ve done. Don’t tell me you’re not the same person, it’s you, you can’t lie to me. Only you would do all that to come back to me, only you would throw this stupid tantrum because only you care about me like this” She shook her head “It’s you..." She finished speaking, tears flowing down her cheeks again, but a smile lighting up her face, her gaze full of hope as if she was seeing him for the first time.
Chishiya didn’t know how to respond, and it didn’t matter. The girl hid her face in his shoulder again and tightened her grip on his torso. He lifted his arm and, gently stroking her hair, let his mind wander back to that little box in the drawer of his nightstand in their Tokyo apartment. He sighed. "Just a little longer," he thought. He raised her face with his hand to look into her eyes. "Hold on just a little longer..."

੭୧ chishiya with an introverted reader... . ۫

chishiya shuntaro x fem!reader (requested)
— warnings: fluff, maybe ooc chishiya, beach arc, fem pronouns, niragi doing niragi things, typical aib violence, swallowing razor blades lol...
— summary: chishiya is very enticed by the fact you seem to trust him so much, he can't help but tease you.
— word count: 1.6k

you were known around the beach, specifically for being on the quiet side, avoiding any compromising relationships, platonic or not, with people around you, knowing that would only be a flaw between others, especially in a place like the borderlands. people like this always managed to stand out more than intended between others.
it only half worked, though. when you first arrived in this sick world, it didn't take long for you to get invited to the beach, which you reluctantly accepted since there weren't that many options for you.
everyone there seemed untrustworthy and deceitful, especially the group of militants. so you decided to keep to your side, having a few acquaintances here and there but nothing too profound.
that was until a blonde guy named chishiya decided to do the job himself and approach you. you were never aware of the reason, but at this point, you didn't care. your only goal in a place like this was to never let your guard down next to others, but unfortunately, this man managed to make you. he could be using you all this time just to have someone to sacrifice when the needed time comes, and you would fall right onto it given how much trust you had put in him.
being friends with chishiya later on drove you to become friends with kuina as well, but still, you weren't as close to her as you were with the guy.
it turns out you were simply introverted, and having someone to confide in ended up helping you in a place like this, contrary to your beliefs. you'd continuously get teased by niragi for being so shy and reserved with yourself, but that didn't happen with chishiya. you could tell he was quite curious about your behavior as well; however, he didn't press it on you.
this reflected on the time you two spent together. you ended up sticking next to him more than you realized. people around the beach would be surprised if they went on a walk and saw one of you both alone. kuina was also after him sometimes, but it didn't compare to you guys's proximity. this only made him seem more suspicious, given that he only kept two people close, and even so, he would appear slightly reluctant to anything you guys did together.
before you could realize it, you were practically blabbering your mouth out whenever you were both alone, contrasting the personalities you made up around other members. and surprisingly, chishiya didn't complain, instead just staying silent for most of the time you talked. you weren't sure if he was even listening most of the time, apart from some occasional comments he decided to add when wanting to share his opinion about whatever matter caught your eye that day.
as of now, chishiya was sitting on the chair by his desk as you lied down on his bed, looking at the ceiling. his hands were moving around on a device, and you had no idea what half of its purpose was. sometimes, you would try and peek to see whatever he was doing with it, but upon recognizing the usual pliers and wires he must love so much, given he "spends more time with them than with you" (as you dramatically proclaimed a few days ago), you just gave up.
he looked very focused right now, and you knew better than to disturb him at times like these, but your boredom somehow managed to get the lead as your mind looked around for a chat theme.
"did you know that the human stomach can dissolve razor blades?" you ask out of the blue, your gaze still fixated on the ceiling.
he did not answer. instead, he stopped his movements around the device in his hands and gave you a side look. you could feel his gaze, so you immediately tried to explain.
"i'm not planning on anything!" you said it with a hurried voice, coming out with a tone of humor. "it's just a scientific fact."
he sighed, his attention turning back to the box to which he added two metals. it was now much harder to guess what the hell he was trying to make out of it.
"no, i did not know that." chishiya replied, his eyes never leaving the gadget he held as he kept fixing it. his voice was heard again shortly after. "but it's quite obvious, actually. the ph level in a human stomach varies between 1 and 3, which means it is very acidic. you could get away with swallowing a lot of things."
you could tell by the way he spoke that he tried to use easier words to make you understand, and honestly, that only made your heart beat faster and your cheeks redden.
"that doesn't mean you can do it." he stopped his movements for a second, talking with a stern voice, but quickly went back. he really looked more preoccupied with the piece of equipment.
you gasped as if you were offended by his remark, a chuckle leaving your lips right after as you rolled around on his bed. "i would never swallow anything suspicious. i'm not that insane."
"you considered pressing a button that had "don't press" written on top of it." he answered without thinking twice.
you laughed it off again, remembering how he had to physically pull you away from the tempting button you found together on a game you played. it consisted of finding the exit to a labyrinth as a killer chased the players. you knew where the exit was from the very beginning since, before entering the game, chishiya had the brilliant idea of going to a point high enough to study the whole arena. when you both finally finished the game, someone ended up pressing it, and the whole place blew up. at least you found out what it did.
"come on, i was curious!" you complained, still giggling, when the memories of chishiya being so done with you came back. "i would never swallow a razor blade, you know that."
"not even if it had "don't swallow" written on top of it?" he ironically asked, doing his best to make his voice come out nonchalant, but you could basically hear the smirk he held.
"chishiya!" you whined out louder, starting to laugh again.
after your fun died out, you got up from the bed and stopped beside him, a hand holding onto the back of his chair. "what miraculous electrical device are you making this time?"
at this point, chishiya didn't even question your choice of words, instead keeping his gaze on the item. "it's a taser," he replied sharply. "so i can bring some sense into the heads of idiots like you."
"i hate you." you admitted, rolling your eyes and turning around with a sigh, lying flat dead on his bed again. both of you knew you were not telling the truth, and he was about to tease you for it.
until he was brutally broken out of his line of thinking by an equally brutal niragi slamming the door open. you flinched at the sound, while chishiya just closed his eyes and sighed, frustrated.
"oi. executive meeting by eight o'clock. make sure not to skip it again, or the hatter might not like it." he exclaimed, referring to chishiya, not bothering about keeping his voice down or even lowering his gun to appear a bit more sociable. "oh. look who we have here..." now referring to you.
as niragi's eyes fell upon you, your eyebrows immediately furrowed as you looked away, sitting up on chishiya's bed, avoiding as much contact with him as you could.
"why are you always after this guy? there are so many better men in a place like this, and you choose him?" niragi asked with that sharp voice of his, which you profoundly despised, as he approached and pointed his gun at you. you didn't bother looking at it.
your cheeks were pretty warm from this whole interaction. you weren't scared of him physically hurting you, since chishiya wouldn't allow it and niragi knew it, but confrontations were always awkward with him.
you didn't even realize that chishiya finally let go of the device in hand, turning around in the chair and watching the scene with not too much interest. "she isn't that fond of me. actually, she just claimed to hate me."
your mouth fell agape as you looked his way with a gaze that could kill. you noticed he had a smirk, and all you wanted to do in that moment was wipe it out of his face, but you knew best with niragi there.
"oh, so she talks? now that's a surprise." niragi lowered his gun to his sides, chuckling at the end of his sentence. you could only lower your head in embarrassment and avoid any more conflicts.
"well, i'll be taking my leave. thanks for the attention, you both!" niragi yelled ironically, slamming the door shut behind him.
and as soon as he made his way out of the room, you turned your attention to chishiya, who had already mentally prepared himself to deal with your talking.
"i might not be the one dissolving a blade in my stomach, but i know who will." you said, trying your best to sound mad, which probably didn't work out because he didn't move a bit from his usual position.
"well, niragi might need to take care then." he said, turning around in his chair, back to his own world.
"i wasn't talking about him!" you rolled your eyes, fuming and concluding that it was useless to argue with him.
in truth, your tantrum didn't last much longer than 5 minutes, since soon you were already chattering about whatever came into your mind next. even if it seemed like not, chishiya was always listening, often adding a comment or two, but at this point, it was routine for both. it was entertaining to him to see how different you could be depending on the people present in the room and how you became much more comfortable with him around. he took pride in that.

— a/n: waaah this was so fun to write!!! i love making chishiya an insufferable one so i hope this was okay and fitted your likings... i think i ran away a little bit from the topic but i wanted to make chishiya as in character as possible because imo that's what makes him so interesting. ohh i love a jackass of a man......

Brains & Brawn- Chapter 14: Round 2
“Usagi, she’s not affiliated with Chishiya. Or Niragi.” Arisu hit the side of Usagi’s shoulder playfully then sombered. “You’re not– right?”
“Not anymore,” you smiled sadly.
Kuina had introduced you to the pair in an effort to make a truce. Unwittingly, they had formed a grudge against you before you became properly acquainted. First, it was Niragi. You both were the most well-known militant pair. Then, they knew vaguely of your relationship with Chishiya, and the combination was enough to mark you as an enemy.
Usagi grimaced, and staggered forward as Arisu pushed her. She begrudgingly stuck out her hand, and you shook it vigorously. It had taken a miracle for her to get to this point.
“If I see you around either one of them, I’ll beat the crap out of you. Got it?” Usagi smiled threateningly. She didn’t need to reference who she was talking about directly.
You nodded, flinching slightly.
“Perfect! Nice to meet you, I never introduced myself properly since Hatter dragged us in. I’m Usagi.”
“Arisu.” He bowed his head before grinning again.
“What’s so funny?” Kuina interjected, laughing loosely as the tension finally broke. She had to play the role of the mediator for the past hour, delicately explaining your situation until Usagi was willing to come near you.
Arisu fiddled with a phone he had in his hand, tossing it back and forth. “It’s just I never imagined that we would end up here. All together like this and alive.”
“I just have one concern. If we cleared all the games, then why are we still here?” Kuina frowned.
Kuina was addressing everyone, but she was looking at Arisu. He lowered his head sheepishly once more when he noticed everyone else looked towards him.
“I don’t know,” Arisu admitted. He glanced down at the phone he was carrying and clicked the side. The bright white of the screen flashed as it powered on. “Wait, it works?”
You wrinkled your eyebrow in confusion. The only phones you had seen were for game registration. “Where did you get that?”
“I picked it up during the 10 of Hearts…” Arisu trailed off as he flicked a few buttons on the screen. “Oh my god– look at this.”
You all huddled around Arisu holding the phone as video footage played. Two girls appeared on screen, whom you recognized to be the Witch who died– Momoka and her friend Asahi. They were talking about how they got there, you realized.
“We wanted to show you,” Momoka explained, weaving through the plant-covered city. “The nature of this world.”
They entered a subway station, and walked through the tunnels to a steel door. There was a keypad next to it, and they showed the code.
The room inside had dozens upon dozens of screens littering the walls. People everywhere were frantically watching what was on them, while cheering and yelling. It was like they were watching a sports game, but with an additional air of desperation.
Momoka walked closer to the screens, close enough for you to see what was pictured on them.
It was you. All of you. The people in the room were watching the players during the games.
And they weren’t cheering when the players won. They only did so when they lost.
“Hey– get that phone out of here!” A man’s voice yelled. The camera footage immediately cut to black.
“So they’re the ones who ran the games,” Kuina said slowly. “What subway was that?”
“I think I know where it is. Maybe they’re still there. We can get our answers,” Arisu said and immediately started trekking towards the city.
You blinked nervously at Arisu’s back and watched the rest follow. The thought of what happened at the Beach made you pause, dropping towards the back of the group. There still could be survivors outside of the Beach with weapons. And you all weren’t armed. “Wait– it might be dangerous.”
Arisu stopped and waited for a moment. You grabbed a gun that a militant had left behind, the cool feel was reassuring and familiar. Shooting was all you had ever known. It was what had protected you for so long– even from Chishiya. It was safe.
The pang from the shooting you had done with Chishiya briefly felt painful, yet nostalgic. Most times you had your weapon of choice, it was around Chishiya.
Arisu led the group towards downtown Shibuya. You gasped as you saw how much foliage there was. Somehow in the past couple of days you hadn’t been out, it seemed to triple.
“Look– there’s a deer!” Kuina exclaimed giddily. A fawn and its mother stared at you from afar, then skittered away quickly.
Usagi stared off in the direction of the deer. “How is it possible for it to grow so quickly? It’s not like the real world at all.”
“I think we left the real world behind a long time ago,” you said solemnly.
The map that showed travelers which train to take was outside of the tunnel that led to the subway. The monochromatic color of the concrete and the entrance starkly contrasted with the vividness routes marked on the map.
“Let’s go in, yeah?” Arisu said reassuringly. He pulled out the phone and skipped to the part of the video where the girls were walking into the subway. He disappeared into the darkness of the subway, the girls’ faint voices going with him.
You felt ill at what you might discover. The people down there were the ones running the games, and you had cleared them all. Were they still there? What would happen now since you had discovered their secret hideout?
A light touch from Kuina grounded your fears, her hand grazing the back of yours comfortingly. “It’ll be okay,” she murmured. “We’re all together now.”
But you weren’t. He wasn’t there.
You swallowed painfully and smiled. “I hope so.”
The chatter of the group ahead bounced off the walls, sounding like murmurs as you and Kuina followed the sound. Water droplets from the humidity dropped into puddles, a rhythm forming with your steps.
Drip. Drip. Splash.
Drip. Drip. Splash
Drip. Drip.
Silence. The final splashing sound was interrupted– like something had stopped it from falling into the puddle. You turned around for a brief moment.
“What?” Kuina looked confused as you whipped your head around. Her forehead wrinkled further when you held your finger up to your lips as a gesture.
Through the palpable silence, you still only heard Arisu. It didn’t feel right. The silence was as if someone was holding their breath since you stopped walking.
You exhaled a shuddering breath. “I guess it’s nothing.”
“Are you sure?”
Kuina grabbed your arm and brushed the strand of hair out of your eyes. She looked concerned, her tired eyes imploring you for an answer. Her eye bags were dark and set, outlined further by the shadowy atmosphere. She was too young to have such old eyes.
“Yes I’m su-”
A rustling sound came from behind. You didn’t mistaken it at all. It floated around the edges of the tunnel before disappearing.
You traced the path of the figure with your eyes, but you truly had no idea what or who it was. Or where it was going. It was a lost cause to try. “I’m sure.”
“Hey!” Arisu’s voice filled the tunnel, reverberating off of the walls.
“What?” Kuina yelled back. She looked at you quizzically and you shrugged in reply. You had no idea what was going on in Arisu’s head, much like Chishiya’s.
They were eerily similar in their logic at times, but their personalities were so different. One was human, and the other seemed to be pretending.
“I found something!” Arisu yelled, interrupting your thoughts once more. The splashing of water followed as you and Kuina approached a familiar metal door Arisu was standing in front of. “Look at this.”
Arisu then held up the phone recording to the frame of the steel door’s keypad Momoka had entered.
Silently aside from the clicks of the keypad, you watched helplessly as Arisu slowly punched in each number. With a creak, the door swung open to reveal the same room Momoka had shown before the screen blacked out.
Instead of bustling people and bright television screens, the room was barely lit. You gasped as you looked to the floor to see it littered with bodies, with some of the televisions having a hole punched through.
“Doesn’t this look fun?” A voice said from the corner of the room in his telltale smug tone.
Before any of you could reply, all of the televisions lit up at the same time, revealing the face of an executive you knew well.
Mira practically beamed with joy as she made her announcement to the Borderlands. “Everyone, this stage has all been great fun! You’ve been through so much together. You’ve watched your friends die in so many ways.”
The screen shifted as she spoke, portraying each of her words as if she spoke them to life. “You’ve watched them lose, get burned, and even betray others– themselves included. But it’s all over now, you’ve won!”
You nervously looked at the others in the room, their faces lit up with fleeting happiness. Aside from Chishiya, who absentmindedly was staring at a corner in the room.
Mira hemmed and looked to the side of the screen. Her smile became even wider. “The fun isn’t over! We have prepared a special second round of games for you. I can’t wait to see you soon,” she winked and the screen was promptly replaced with a countdown to the second stage.
"Just what we needed, another fucking round!" you exasperatedly exclaimed.
“Oh god, do you think we’ll have to face Mira?” Kuina frowned, “I saw the way she cleared hearts games as an executive– it was scary.”
“Obviously,” Chishiya sighed, turning his attention to your group. “It would at least be interesting to see who else is running the games.”
Arisu made a sound like he was choking. “You can’t be looking forward to more games?”
Chishiya’s blank gaze at Arisu was unreadable as he smiled faintly. “It’s something to pass the time.” He turned towards you with his hands in his pockets. “Can we speak–” he gestured at the rest of the people in the room, “in private?”
“She has nothing to say to you,” Kuina interrupted before you could even think of a reply.
“She can speak for herself,” Chishiya retorted.
You looked up at Chishiya, hoping to find some semblance of familiarity in those eyes. He crooked his head to the side as if questioning your next move, but didn’t give away any feelings he may or may not have had. You weren’t sure if the throbbing pains in your chest were greater from his presence or absence.
Suddenly, a waft of peppermint reached your nostrils, and you answered without hesitation. “I’ll go. I’ll follow you.”
Kuina grabbed your wrist tightly, but you gently shook her off. “It’ll be okay,” you said, without glancing back, hurrying forth.
Chishiya had already set off, not checking to see if you were behind him. The dripping noises in the empty tunnels set your walking pace– drip, step, drip, step. It was a comforting rhythm, something reliable when you were with someone so unpredictable.
There was a small room, barely bigger than a broom closet that was hidden in the corner of the subway. He led you there and pulled on a string to illuminate the empty area.
He murmured a question that you didn’t quite catch, his brown eyes dark as his back was to the lighting.
“What?” you asked, trying not to gawk at the situation.
“Nevermind, it was nothing,” he offered in return.
The constantly frustrated feeling from his mercurial behavior arose once more, your veins burst with fire as you remembered how he had behaved in recent days. “Honestly, what do you want from me? You’ve made it quite clear how you feel about me— why the fuck are you even here?”
Chishiya, as always, somehow managed to give a non-answer. “I wanted to continue observing you.”
“Rest assured, your guinea pig doesn’t have any plans of dying quite yet,” you snorted. “Just fuck off for this stage, won’t you? I don’t plan on being your sacrifice.”
You pulled the string to turn the lights off, leaving Chishiya in the shadows as you returned to Arisu. He said something to your back that you didn’t quite catch again, but when you finally turned around he was walking away once more.
A/N: guys i'm not dead everything is fine... i just have so much work to do </3.... i swear this will b finished!!! (eventually)

I NEED a tokrev xreader fic where they end up in the Borderlands (like Aib) and reader's personality is like Chishiya's...

on another note I would like to see tokrev characters reacting to reader as different roles from aib maybe a Queen/or King from the 2nd season
Or
Instead of reader's persona being based off of just Chishiya maybe a little mix of the mains of Aib like:
Arisu (logic)
Ann (investigation skills)
Chishiya (intellect & manipulation skills)
Kuina (strength)
Usagi (speed)
And some of the scenes of Aib get referenced in the fic (like the same scene but with tokrev characters ft. Reader)
And the fic would show the different types of loves platonic & romantic like:
Ann & Kuina
Arisu, Karube & Chota
Aguni and Hatter
Aguni and Heiya
Arisu and Usagi
Chishiya and Kuina
Reader's background COULD BE
that reader was childhood friends with manjiro and keisuke since reader also went to gramps dojo but reader came from a judgemental family so when manjiro and keisuke came up with the idea of a gang reader's mother forbid reader from hanging out with them taking it as far as changing schools and hometown until a few years later when reader was 17 they moved back in their childhood town and a few months later the 'fireworks' occurred where everyone got sent to the Borderlands
Reader could be seen by others as shy but they are actually just introverted until they get comfortable around the person (14-17 yrs old reader)
Younger reader could be deemed as actually shy and defenseless caused by childhood trauma from her home life (aka abusive father not extremely maybe like their father abused of drugs and alcohol and their mother was too inlove with him to leave but once she got the courage to leave him reader was atleast 8-9 yrs old and was traumatized to the point of almost mute)
When reader reached their preteens was when their mother separated them from Manjiro, keisuke and the rest of the toman founders
So after this moving out reader matured a lot since they had to take care of their mentally ill mother and talk some rational sense into her mind for her not to go insane, this moments made reader meditate and mature too much for their age and that would be where Chishiya's manipulation and intellect come in, reader gained these because they didn't want to be like their mother who was a people pleaser that put others safety and happiness before hers and reader wanted the contrary reader believed in putting yourself first no matter the situation
These traumas that reader went through gave her a slight interest of investigating the fucked up minds of criminals of how they treat others so badly without remorse and for reader investigating was a comfort zone they wanted to know why, what was the cause for these people to end up this way etc, they wanted to know everything and that's where Ann's abilities of investigation come in
Kuina's strength could come in from reader's time at the dojo and later on develop more as reader works out and keeps practising self defense when they moved out etc as well as her Usagi's speed could come from this too or maybe reader participation in the school's field day or track races perhaps
I just find the idea of merging tokrev & Alice in Borderland very interesting in seeing writers who accurately get into these characters personas and narrate how they would react and the impact on their personalities would be since they'll be fighting for their lives and the roles of leader and followers (gang roles) wouldn't be useful and we would see how the fear of death and loosing beloved ones would make these characters develop for the better or worse
An example could be which characters or relationships would be representing tokrev characters
In terms of relationships/dynamics:
Aguni & Hatter: Wakasa & Takeomi
Kuina & Chishiya: Chifuyu & Kazutora
Ann & Kuina: Baji & Chifuyu
Aguni & Heiya: Wakasa & Senju
Arisu & Usagi: Takemichi & Hinata
Arisu, Karube & Chota: Takemichi, Akkun, Takuya
Chota & Shibuki: Takuya & random oc (made up side character)
Karube & Shibuki: Akkun & random oc (made up side character)
Momoka & Asahi: Pah Chin & Peh Yan
Character representation:
Tatta: Angry
Kyuma: Kazutora
Mira: Kisaki
Last Boss: Shion
Niragi: Hanma
Banda: Sanzu aswell
Kuzuryu: Muto
Enji: Kisaki
These are only representative of aib characters by tokrev characters meaning that some of these characters scenes could be referenced in the fic or the some of the fics dialogue can be based off of the scenes these aib characters have

I don't know if I'm explaining myself enough since I'm not exactly skilled in explaining things but yeah that's an idea for writers who are in the Aib and tokrev fandom
Again these are just examples for inspo
If I could I would write the fic buy I'm not a good narrator and I would write the characters ooc most definitely 😵💫
I apologize for any grammar errors🧍🏻♀️
Also if anyone knows about a fic at least close to this hmu immediately 👀 or if someone is willing to write something like this also hmu

𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕡𝕣𝕠𝕗𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕠𝕣 𝕟𝕖𝕩𝕥 𝕕𝕠𝕠𝕣

ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝟙: 𝔽𝕚𝕣𝕤𝕥 𝕥𝕚𝕞𝕖 𝕚𝕟 𝕊𝕙𝕚𝕓𝕦𝕪𝕒
───────────────────────
Author’s note: Just got invited to a debutante party this February since yesterday on Saturday, so pretty busy this days with my mom.
Another note: Got a little inspirational with Coffee and Vanilla and that one manwha: Tears on a withered flower.
This works includes/warning: All images aren’t mine, grammars ahead, vulgar language, smoking, an alternate universe where they live their own lives in the real world and no borderland, two year age gap; Y/N is nineteen and had a little sister in this story.
Summary: Y/n and her sister visited Shibuya one year ago, now they move in to their new share house as well as it’s a big start for them.
—Pink text represents Y/n’s POV
───────────────────────
When I was eighteen, about one year ago. I was looking after my five year old little sister, Kitachi Aine, who’s walking around in the streets. We were from Yokohama. It was the first thing in the morning, going on a trip with her coming here in Shibuya, while hearing my sister giggling around. I was walking slow as I watch her, the only thing I do as a sister was to take care of her as if I were a mother to my own sister.
“Onee-chan!” she yelled with excitement and that big smile on her face. “Look at everyone in here!”
I weakly laughed and smile back at her, “Hmm…” as I nodded as she continuing running away. I slowly frown just by watching her happy as if everyday I had to raise her like she was my daughter, “Onee-chan?”
I saw her looking at me and came towards me, “Yes?” I asked her, while shrugging everything off my shoulder and smile just for her. While I was squatting down to look at her; my sister was unhappy when I always felt sad.
“Did I do something wrong?” the way she says, made her look so mature for her own age to understand. I casually shake my head and tell her, “Nene, I’m just a little tired,” I said, patting her head while she’s indeed unhappy that I always act like it’s not a big deal, “you can continue running around, I promise I have my own eyes on you.”
I boop her nose as Nene crossed her arms and she was grumpy that I blink, “Onee-chan, just be happy!”
I laughed and smile at her, touching her face gently as I was fixing her hair and nodded, “Yes, I am happy.”
“Smile!”
I smile a little.
“Not that! Real smile!”
I tried to smile.
“No! No! No! Big smile!”
My little sister sometimes pinch me so hard, that it hurts as she tried to make me smile. “Just be happy!”
“Nene!” I move her strong hands away from my face, then I force myself to smile at her. “Okay, is this what you wanted?” as I was clenching my teeth while smiling forcibly.
“Better!” she shouted, squeezing my face.
“Nene!” as I removed her hand away from my face again. Then she crossed her arms and turned around as I heard her, “Hmph!” I simply sigh at the sight of her sass.
When we were at the convenient store, she was just looking around when I told her to only pick one and not more than two or three. Yet, I was responsible in looking after her everyday, because it’s just only me and my little sister having this little adventure ahead. Then I watch her pointing at the one on top of the shelf: it was an onigiri. So, I only pick one just in case if she may not be finishing it, I also pick up some drinks that she likes including me.
Y/N payed it as the cashier lady begin to ask her, then they start talking while Aine was holding hands with her. Her hands slipped away when Aine notice a guy with his motorcycle, “Wow,” she mouthed. He watches him remove his helmet, then he came inside of the convenient store as he bow down at the cashier lady, that she smiles and bow back. While Y/N was too distracted on talking to the cashier woman, that her little sister begin to walk away from her as she followed the guy with the eyebrow pierce, as he was likely picking some food.
He was wearing a black mask and that the only appears was his black eyes and that piercing from his eyebrow, Aine looked around in the candy isle as she was looking at him picking up something from there. She was glaring at the bun then to his eyes then to his whole style; the guy notice her as he squat down and that he glances while smiling underneath the mask. “Are you lost?” his voice was muffled from his mask, but she could hear it clearly.
Her big eyes stares onto his dark ones, Aine shake her head as she was a little afraid of him. Then she pointed at Y/N as he move his head and look behind her, “Is that your mom?” he asked.
Aine nodded and lies about it, the guy chuckles and saw her staring at the lollipop then he turned back to her, “Sweetie, you shouldn’t be walking away from your mom,” he told her and pat her head. “Just return to her, she must’ve been thinking you walked away on her.”
She walked back while he stand up and watches her walking back to her mom (her older sister), he was smiling and then he turned back as the guy took out a lollipop. Then he takes out his phone from the pocket of his leather jacket and that his phone rings as he pick it up, “Hello?”
“Oh, hey sir,” as he was nodding at the sound from his calls. “Yes, I’ll be there in three hours, no worries, I’ll be there shortly.”
He hung up the phone, Y/N and Aine were sitting by the table and stool in the convenient store, while the guy take out the lollipop then look over for cigarettes as the guy went to the cashier lady, “Oh hello, young man, it’s been a while.”
The guy laughed and replied, “Hayashi-san, I haven’t seen you in years after I came here all day.”
The cashier lady laughed and smiled, “You’ve grown so much after your sophomore year at sixteen and always want to eat somewhere alone,” she said. “Anyways, did you grow any muscles? You’ve gotten muscular.”
The guy scoffed and nodded, “Yeah… I am, just took exercise with my boss and it was horrific.”
“Hmm…” she said, looking at Y/N and Aine then turn back to him, “…have you seen anyone yet?” while he put down a cigarette and lollipop.
“No, what do you mean by that?”
“Well… since you’re no longer having high school crushes, you would perhaps have someone in your life by now.”
“Hayashi-san,” he looked at her with an empty glare at her, “from your question, I do not need someone in my life plus I’m very busy at the moment, instead of thinking of someone.”
“I understand… but believe me, you’re gonna,” she said, but the guy shakes his head.
“No, I am not.”
“Yes, you do,” she said, already gotten payed and give him the bag to him.
“No, I am not,” as he took the bag away and walked away.
“Okay, see you later!”
“Uh-huh.”
The guy went outside and heavily sigh, rolling his eyes as he went at his motorcycle. He sat down and took out a cigarette and begin lit it up, then check his phone and texted someone.
Me and Nene were sitting down and looking out of the transparent walls, while I was helping her open the onigiri just for the both of us to eat. She was smiling at me while smile back at her, then I feel my phone vibrate as I took out from my bag and it was my boyfriend: Yui Hitsuji. I was surprise and then I tell Nene, “Stay here, okay?”
She nodded as I get off the stool and walked away, picking up the phone and that I was taking a deep breath. “Hey,” he said to me, as I didn’t know how to respond to him and that it’s been years, that I hadn’t return to Shibuya ever since me and my sister moved in. Hitsuji was my first boyfriend or as you know, we knew each other ever since were both neighbours at that time; it’s been so long I hadn’t thought of him when I moved to Yokohama, sometimes we just talk or chat but now it feels different.
It’s only just me and my little sister and that it’s been busy, I take a deep breath, “Hey, Hitsuji,” I replied back to him.
“How are you beautiful?” he asked, that I rolled my eyes and smile.
“I’m fine, just me and my little sister, visiting Shibuya,” I told him, and that the only thing I ever felt happy.
“Well, I can’t wait to see you there.”
I blinked in surprise, “Wait, you’re going to meet me in person?!”
I covered my mouth after being surprise from my own boyfriend, “Hitsuji… I-I hadn’t even fix myself, are you for real that you’re gonna show up?”
“Well who’s gonna say that I have a lucky girlfriend, who’s naturally beautiful without one,” then he laughed, “see you there.”
“Wait! Wait! Hitsu—”
I was hung up, yet, I gotten embarrassed that my boyfriend is going to show up somewhere in the streets in Shibuya. I take a deep breath and when I turned back to my sister, she was gone. I calmly panic and said, “Nene?” then I turned around, “Nene?”
But then I notice her outside.
Aine was outside as the guy quickly notice, then he dropped his cigarette and crumbled it, moving his hands just to blow off the smoke away and put back his mask. So that Aine wouldn’t catch the smell, “Hey mister?”
“Ah, it’s you, kid, aren’t you supposed to be with your mom?” He said before lifting his eyebrow at her.
“Well, I’m curious about you.”
The guy pointed at himself and asked, “Me?” then Aine nodded in response, while her eyes looked at him. The guy heavily sigh and start to squat down just to looked at her, “What do you want to know about me? But how old are you?”
“I’m only,” as she hold five fingers, then he laughed and just smiles at her, “five.”
“Five? You’re too young to go walk on your own, and you shouldn’t be talk to me,” he said, concerned and very aware for her. “I mean your mom is going to think I was going to do something to you, or else she’ll be very upset with me.”
“I know… I just like those piercing you have on, mister, mama thinks I shouldn’t come near to people who had piercing because they’re bad people.”
“Really?” he didn’t expected of her mother, even he didn’t know that the mom was her older sister. “Well, at least she taught you not to talk to strangers, but for me. I was offended that she thinks every people who had piercing are bad people.”
“I don’t think, you’re a bad person, mister.”
“Kid, I appreciate that you think of me that way, but I’m worried about your mother that she might think you’re missing.”
“Who cares.”
“Who learn you to talk like that?”
“Mommy did.”
He nodded and laughed.
“Well tell your mommy that she should be careful to act around, while you’re here with her.”
She nodded and giggled as he slowly smiles at her underneath the mask, “What’s your name?”
“Kitachi Aine.”
He blinks after hearing her last name, Kitachi, then Niragi slowly repeated her full name but then he asked about her first name, “Can you pronounce your first name and spell it?”
“I-ne, A-I-N-E.”
The guy nodded but hadn’t heard that name before, probably a unique name that must’ve been her mom naming her. “But mama call me, Nene,” she said,
“Nene?” he asked, proceed to nod. “Hmm… can I also call you, Neko-chan?”
She giggled and nodded, the guy pat her head and said, “Nice to meet you, sweetie, call me Niragi.”
“Niragi-san?” as she wasn’t so sure to pronounce it right.
“Hmm…” he nodded, that suddenly his mind start snap when he forgot something. “Oh, I forgot to give you something,” as Niragi takes out from his leather jacket, “I know that you love that lollipop, you always keep looking at,” then he laughed.
She takes the lollipop and bow down, “Thank you,” but then he shushes her for a moment. He curled his open fingers as she knows that he wanted to whisper, “Never tell your mother that I give you this, just hide it for now.” Aine giggled and become all cheeky as she zipped her mouth, then they become friends at the moment as well as Niragi notice Y/N. He quickly stand up and moved back, when she already came and shouted, “Nene!”
“Mama!” she hugged her as Y/N was confused when she call her, mama, but at the same time she feels grateful to be called mama.
Y/N carried her gently then she finally met him eye to eye, “What did you do to my daughter?”
She glares at him as Niragi held his hands without anything, but empty while looking at her. “Apologies for the intrusion, ma’am, I didn’t do anything wrong. I was just looking after her while you didn’t look after her.”
Y/N rolled her eyes and sigh then she whispers to her, “Nene, cover your ears,” as Aine covered her ears and then she glares at him.
“Don’t you dare fucking touch my daughter,” while he nodded at her own words, “if you ever come near her again,” then he proceed to nod, “I’ll fucking kill you,” again he nodded, “you asshole,” lastly he nodded. As Y/N walked away while Aine uncover her ears and looked at him, Niragi wink and wave at her, then she wave back and wink at him.
Weird, that asshole tried to lay his hands on my little sister. Ugh! That asshole!
While I carrying her during at Shibuya in the streets, I feel very irresponsible for taking care of her as I put her down gently. Looking at her so seriously, “Nene,” she was looking down and not look at me, “what did I ever tell you?”
She looked at me in upset, “Stay at the table…” as I heavily sigh after hearing her, so I hugged her. Then I told her, “I’m not mad at you, Nene, I’m worried about you.”
Nene nodded at me and slowly smile at me. But suddenly I heard a familiar voice behind me, “Am I interrupting over something?” then I turned to him as I was surprised.
Hitsuji was right in front of me as I begin clinging my hands around his neck, then I kissed him as I stand back a little and smile. “I brought you flowers,” he said, as I look at a bouquet of flowers.
“Hitsu…” in fact, these are my favourite flowers: white and blue roses.
“Of course, I wouldn’t forget my girl’s favourite flowers, and oh…” then he took out something as Hitsuji gave it to my little sister, “…I wouldn’t also forget that Nene’s favourite snack.”
“Thank you, Hitsu-oniichan!” as my boyfriend fist bum with her and that I laughed.
I was surprise that he gave so much effort, just for me and my sister after being far away; Hitsuji smiled at me as of course, he really missed me so much that I keep forgetting about everything.
◤◢◣◥◤◢◣◥◤◢◣◥◤◢◣◥◤◢◣◥◤◢◣◥
For a while now, we were sat somewhere in a random restaurant, my little sister was playing along with the other kids in that playground. While I was sitting there and my boyfriend was making eye contact around me, “What are you looking at?”
“Just looking at how cute you are, babe,” he said, making me blush as I was playing the straw. “Or did you easily forget about me all of a sudden?”
“What, no! I just didn’t think after a whole year I was in Yokohama. I mean… I missed you for all my life, but why am I not acting like I usually do?” my boyfriend gently touched my hand and look at me.
“Well, you’ve been stressed so much after… you know…” He knows what I’m going through, the fact he kept it for so long as he knows about why it’s just me and my little sister. Since I’m the only one, an eighteen year old girl taken the part as a mother to my little sister, who’s only five years old.
I sigh and looked down then nodded. “How long are you gonna stay at Yokohama?” he asked, looking at me as we haven’t been talked about this.
“Hitsu… you know, I’ve been thinking of planning on moving back to Shibuya and find somewhere for university. I’ve been earning a lot of money from my part-time job,” I confessed, then he looked at me in surprise.
“Really?” as I laughed and nodded from looking at his silly surprise look. “Oh my god, babe, that is so good to hear, I mean… when are you going to?”
“Well, next year,” I answered, then he was excited and smile at me.
“I am so thrilled, I better should plan something just for you and your little sister when you guys move in,” as he takes out his phone and begin texting notes, then I laughed.
“Honey, you don’t need to be—”
I was cut off and stop me from interrupting his plan for next year, “No, you ladies need to relax and let the man do the effort for your guy’s welcoming.”
I always laughed as I feel like myself again, when he was around, “Okay, mister, do whatever you want. I’ll always love you, no matter what you put on the effort.”
“And I love you back, babe,” he said and blow me a kiss, then wink at me that I smile.
About one year later, it was barely my birthday today as I was almost nineteen. But I don’t really often celebrate and that I was too busy moving out some of the things, then I met my landlord who’s also living here in a share house. He seems not so much sociable or that close towards me or my sister, and when my sister comes near to him, I panic over it and said, “I’m so sorry!” as I stopped Nene from going any further.
“Oh no, it’s fine,” he said, no reaction but casually frowns as his hands were on the pocket of his pants. “I’ve always wanted to look after a little one.”
I never suspected of him being naturally nice to us as if thinking, he may not been bad after our first interaction since we moved out.
“Oh… umm…” I awkwardly bow and looked at him, “…sorry for not introducing myself, I’m Y/N, Kitachi Y/N,” then I introduce to my sister, “and this is my sister, Aine.”
“Aguni, Aguni Morizono,” he moved his head down and look back at me, then he pass me the note for the rules. “Here, are the rules,” he told me, then he walked away quickly as I tried to catch up with him. Aguni went downstairs while I was holding my little sister’s hand. “Downstairs, is where you should be moving your stuff here,” he told me, showing a very big space in here. “You guys have everything privately and your own room… but the kitchen and the bathroom, that would be upstairs.”
I bow down and thank him as he came back upstairs, then I turn to look at my little sister with a smile. “So, what do you think?”
“Big!” she giggled and happily jump.
“Y/N!” I heard Aguni shouting so loudly upstairs, I stand up as I carried my little sister back upstairs.
“Y-Yes, Aguni-san!” I suddenly freak out from his voice.
“Your lover boy has been waiting for you at the door,” he said, as I gently put down my little sister and ran to the door.
“Oh hi, Hitsu!” I said with a big smile, then I hugged him as I notice that he was holding a big flower of bouquet as I laughed. “Aww, you shouldn’t have.”
Aguni cleared his throat as we look at him, “Yui… I should’ve known that this is your girlfriend.”
“Yes, she’ll be living with you.”
“You should’ve told me, unless I hadn’t slipped that plan from yours,” then I watch him trying to take out something. “Kitachi, this is your clue for tomorrow’s tonight,” as I looked down at the note and take it.
“Well, see you tomorrow,” he said. “Aguni-san, nice seeing you!” then he left as I was left with bouquet of big flowers.
“Don’t worry about the big flowers he gave you, I can bring you a big display for that,” said Aguni, as he tried to be more nice.
“Oh no, no, no, I’m fine. I got my own.”
He nodded and said, “Look, I know this is really a hard to re-adjust things for you two, I just wanna know if you need anything I’ll be there upstairs at the third floor,” as he pointed up there by the circular staircase where his working out room and his own room were.
“Thank you,” she bow down again, then he walked away and went upstairs.
For quite sometime to look everywhere at their new share house: there were too many space and it’s very big. The two of them hugged each other and smile, then Y/N carried her and twirl around as she stopped and laughed. “This is going to be a fun day, Nene!”
“Yeah!” she giggled.

Perfect balance
Requested: Chishiya xF!Reader with opposing ideals.
It was during one of those deadly games that T/N met Chishiya.
The coldest, most calculating, and mysterious man T/N had ever met. Even today, she didn’t know how she had made it out of there alive. The woman she had forged an alliance with had betrayed her almost at the last moment of the game, leaving her hanging off a cliff just a few steps from the door leading to freedom.
Somehow, T/N managed to climb the rock wall she was clinging to between life and death and crossed the door marking the end of the game. Her former ally was kneeling, catching her breath; she showed no sign of being affected by her betrayal and didn’t seem the slightest bit remorseful as she got up and left the building when the end of the game was announced.
T/N was indeed shaken by what had happened; she had been in Borderlands for a while and still couldn’t get used to it. She didn’t believe anyone could ever get used to something like that. Except for that man. He had completed the game before anyone else. T/N had seen him cross the door with his hands in his pockets, calm and serene. When the game started, the players exchanged words, forming alliances and creating strategies. He did not. He had stayed at the back of the room, waiting for someone to advance and fall into the first of many traps awaiting them in the race to freedom. He had rejected any approach from other players and remained in a relaxed posture in his place. T/N was sure he wouldn’t be able to beat the game. She was wrong.
Some time later, the girl arrived at the beach, where she encountered that man again. She would never admit it, but the man had penetrated her mind more times than she would like to admit, and finding him alive in that place surprised her. She heard his name in some drunken youths’ conversation at the place: Chishiya, and when she inquired about him, they told her what she already suspected: “He is not a good man; I wouldn’t recommend associating with him.” “He’ll sacrifice you as soon as it benefits him”...
The next game they played together, T/N witnessed firsthand what the beach inhabitants were referring to. Chishiya had deceived a young man in a 2 of Hearts. The boy was new to the place and it was his first game. His first and last. T/N couldn’t help feeling a fire burning inside her as she watched the calm and careless step of the white-haired man as the game ended.
“Hey!” T/N shouted, approaching the peaceful man with quick steps. “You both could have made it out alive. There was no need to betray him like that.”
Chishiya stopped his walk and looked at the angry girl over his shoulder. Her outburst amused him, and a small laugh and a slight click escaped his mouth. “You’re alive, I’m alive. What are you complaining about?” Chishiya knew T/N from the beach and the games they had been in together. He remembered considering her weak, foolish, and ignorant, not expecting her to survive each game and rapidly rise through the beach’s hierarchy. He wouldn’t admit it, but the girl had caught his interest.
“I’m complaining that there could be more people alive if it weren’t for your selfishness.”
What happened from that day on could easily be called fate.
T/N developed a deep friendship with Kuina, who seemed curiously attached to the white-haired man. This led to inevitable encounters among the three, during the day on the terrace or enjoying the stillness of the night at the pool, and one way or another, the inevitable happened.
It all began with casual conversations when Kuina was occupied and couldn’t join them. As time went on, these chats grew more intimate, extending into deeper discussions late into the night. This progression eventually led to their hands touching and lingering embraces, culminating in a spontaneous kiss on the rooftop.
T/N wouldn’t lie if she said she hadn’t felt insecure at times, fearing being betrayed by the man they had warned her about, but it was in her nature to trust. Despite being deceived, manipulated, and used in the games, it was in her nature to believe in society, time and time again. Some would call her naive; Chishiya himself had used that term a few times to refer to her, but T/N fought for what she considered right and remained firm in her ideals, even if it meant following her feelings for the man. After all, Chishiya had never betrayed her.
The next game they played together was probably the hardest she had ever faced. It required skill, strength, speed. Neither she nor Chishiya excelled particularly in any of these categories, but fortunately, they had their own strategies. When the game started, T/N’s ideals quickly clashed with Chishiya’s pragmatism. Within minutes, as they read the rules, Chishiya had devised a master plan involving manipulating some players, whom he considered mentally weaker, to face the challenges first. T/N quickly disagreed.
“There’s no need to betray anyone to get out of here alive,” the girl expressed with regret as she pulled Chishiya to hide behind a wall to protect themselves from the explosion that occurred when one of the players had opened a door carelessly when it was evident that the continuation of the game was in the hallway behind them.
To Chishiya’s surprise, her opposition to his idea was not as irritating as he had expected; in fact, he found a certain interest in her challenge.
“Do you think we can all get out of here alive?” he asked quietly, masking his true curiosity with a laugh.
“I’m not naive, Chishiya. I know people will look for their own benefit, but I know very well that there could be fewer deaths if we don’t follow your plan and work together,” T/N replied seriously, hoping he would at least consider her idea. Over time, she had developed feelings for the man, but she wasn’t willing to abandon her ideals for him.
“So, what do you propose?” he asked, carefully stepping out from behind the wall, unconsciously keeping the girl behind him.
They both looked at the sand where the game was unfolding. The exit was practically clear, with all the players trying to deal with the obstacles.
“The exit is over there. Obviously,” Chishiya pointed out, noticing the hesitation in T/N’s response. “That little group there has been advancing along the wall. It’s a good strategy, except they’re about to trigger that”—he pointed to a wall with small, barely noticeable holes—“I bet it’s arrows,” Chishiya concluded.
There was no need to say that once the arrows were triggered, killing the group of players, the path to the exit would be cleared for T/N and Chishiya, as no other players would be aware of it while they were inmerse in overcoming the obstacles in their way.
“If we can find a way to trigger the arrows before they pass...” T/N said thoughtfully.
“Then, what do you propose?” Chishiya repeated.
T/N’s gaze shifted to the wall beside her. A ladder extended on it, and a second ladder was visible at the end of the path, descending to the floor and ending next to the exit door. It was clearly a path none of the players had dared to try.
“No one has gone that way. It’s likely to be full of untriggered obstacles,” Chishiya pointed out with clear rejection.
“Then maybe it’s time for us to play a bit as well,” T/N declared, decisively advancing towards the ladder.
Chishiya surprised himself by walking urgently behind the girl. It would have been so easy to let her do her thing, wait for the consequences, and cross the sand once all the traps were deactivated... But some strange force seemed to pull him directly to the girl, and a sour feeling settled in his gut at the thought of her getting hurt... even if it meant he could win the game.
They both carefully climbed the ladder, and upon reaching the ledge, they had to press their backs against the wall to avoid falling. There was little room for their feet, and the biggest challenge at that moment seemed to be avoiding taking a misstep and slipping off the wall. “A certain death,” thought Chishiya, contemplating the distance between them and the ground.
The wall felt cold against their backs as they moved slowly but steadily.
T/N’s eyes were fixed on the group of players who seemed to be unaware of the danger approaching. They needed to warn them as soon as possible and find another way to trigger the arrows without anyone getting hurt.
Chishiya’s eyes, on the other hand, were fixed on the girl moving in front of him. He silently feared that a trap might activate behind them, like the hidden arrows in the wall a few meters away. If an obstacle was triggered, T/N would be the first to suffer it since she was ahead, leaving this obstacle inactive for him when he had to pass. This did not comfort him in any way.
Chishiya’s thoughts were interrupted by T/N’s scream, and for a moment, he felt his heart stop. Had a trap been triggered behind them?
He saw the girl scream and wave her arms frantically. No, she wasn’t hurt; she was trying to get the attention of the group advancing on the ground, also sticking to the wall. His heart started beating again. Chishiya quickly threw an arm around the girl’s abdomen, trying to anchor her to the wall in case she lost her balance with her frantic movements. The idea of being dragged into the void with her was not enough to make him change his mind about the situation.
“Stay still!” His voice sounded somewhat desperate but was deeply ignored as the group looked up, surprised at the couple in the heights.
“Stop there! There’s a trap there! Arrows!” Chishiya might have laughed at the girl's exaggerated gestures as she tried to make herself understood if it weren't for the life-or-death situation they were in.
Somehow, the group seemed to understand what the extravagant woman was trying to show them and halted their advance. They gestured in return, indicating that they didn’t know what to do next. Chishiya’s arm remained tightly around T/N, although she seemed not to notice, too focused on communicating with the other players and figuring out a way to activate the arrows. Chishiya absentmindedly looked at the center of the sand. No players seemed to be alive, all massacred by the various traps. The safest path had been to stick close to the walls, which is why that group on the ground across the field and they, up high, seemed to be the only survivors. Although Chishiya observed that the group of players had also suffered some losses. He saw one of the players from the group arguing heatedly with the others, and before he could ask T/N if she knew what was happening, he saw that same player moving quickly and determinedly toward the place where the arrows were supposed to come out. “He’s sacrificing himself,” he thought. He had no time to decide whether to consider it foolish or brave when the arrows activated, and those coming from the higher holes in the wall were heading toward their position in the heights.
In seconds, T/N felt Chishiya’s arm around her abdomen tense over her, as if it could act as a protective shield against the deadly weapons flying toward them at high speed. The girl’s hands tightened around it with fear, and she closed her eyes, expecting the worst.
Luck, coincidence, fate. T/N breathed heavily when she opened her eyes after several seconds of uncertainty. The arrows had lodged just a few centimeters from where her head was, fortunately causing her no harm. Chishiya wouldn’t admit aloud that he had calculated the exact spot where the arrows would land once activated, but seeing them threateningly directed at the girl made him doubt, for a fraction of a second, his calculation skills. He couldn’t help but tighten his grip on T/N’s body, even though he logically knew it would be useless if the arrows pierced the girl’s body. And, for a fraction of a second, noticing the girl tensing and closing her eyes in the face of the threat, he wished he were the target of those deadly weapons.
“Let’s move on,” T/N heard with a broken voice. The girl was in shock but knew they had to get out of there, and the exit was clear.
Chishiya removed his arm from the girl’s body, depriving both of them of the warmth, almost intimate, that neither of them knew they needed.
They advanced carefully and silently, dodging the arrows stuck in the wall and reaching the stairs that allowed them to descend. Still in silence, they joined the group, which had also advanced carefully, alert for any other surprises.
“Is this the exit?” asked one. Chishiya noticed it was the same one who had sacrificed himself for the group. He had survived the attack, though wounded with an arrow through his calf, leaving a trail of blood behind him.
“I think so,” answered another.
T/N approached the armored door and examined it closely. It didn’t seem to pose any danger, but Chishiya felt uncomfortable with the girl’s recklessness.
“There’s a panel,” T/N pointed out. “Three fingerprints are needed to open the door.”
Chishiya approached her upon hearing her words and scrutinized the panel carefully. The girl was right.
At that moment, a beep sounded on all the players' phones: ten seconds remained before the game ended. T/N raised her hand and placed a finger on the panel. Chishiya did the same, and the player with the arrow through his calf did as well.
“Game clear,” announced their phones as the enormous door opened, allowing the players to exit.
The cold night air enveloped them. After several seconds of stillness, the group turned to the pair.
“You saved us in there. Thank you very much; nowadays, there aren’t many people you can trust,” said one of them, holding his injured companion tightly.
Chishiya remained silent.
“Don’t mention it; you would have done the same,” T/N replied, a smile forming on her face.
Chishiya fixed his gaze on the group, carefully examining each of its members and noticing clear signs of hesitation.
“Y-yes… yes, of course, we would have done the same… Well, thanks again, I think we should leave now…” the whole group nodded, and after exchanging more thanks and farewells, the group left.
The group might be grateful for T/N’s compassion and kindness, but that changed nothing. They were in a cruel world, and Chishiya had no doubt that they would never have done the same for them. For her.
“We did it,” T/N whispered, leaning against the car and sliding down to the ground.
Chishiya sat beside her.
“Yes, we did,” he replied. “I suppose your plan wasn’t so bad,” he smiled, looking at the girl with a hint of admiration in his eyes.
“It took three to win the game,” the girl sighed, looking up at the sky. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes.
Chishiya also looked up at the stars that adorned the night. Yes, he had realized that if they had followed his plan, only the two of them would have reached the door. Chishiya methodically valued the way the game had been conducted. The girl had methods that didn’t match his, and those methods had allowed their survival that night. Still, minimizing deaths and strengthening cooperation would never be a reliable or safe plan in Borderlands. It didn’t take much scrutiny to realize that the people they had saved that night, the people T/N had saved that night, would never repay the act. In a cruel world like Borderlands, everyone sought their own benefit, even if the stubborn girl refused to see it.
“You know… people are often not willing to return what you give,” the man said, turning his gaze back to the girl’s face, who was still with her eyes closed and breathing in sync.
After a few seconds of silence, the girl turned her head and looked at the man. “He looks more handsome than usual that night” she thought. His eyes showed a hint of respect and new understanding. She wanted to lose herself in his gaze.
“I know,” she whispered.
No more was needed. Chishiya hummed in acknowledgment, satisfied with her response. It was what he needed to understand that the girl was not stupid or naive or innocent; she was simply a person willing to challenge the status quo for her principles and ideals, even in the most desperate situations.
He raised his hand to gently hold T/N’s cheek, a tacit promise drawn in his caress. Chishiya didn’t believe in an empathetic approach, although it probably saved their lives that night, but if there was one thing he was sure of, it was that he would never let her face the challenges of Borderlands alone. His sharp mind and calculating approach would, with a bit of luck, be a sufficient shield to prevent the girl from being dragged too much by her feelings.
That night was about building a perfect balance. And he sealed his promise with a kiss.

This can’t be happening.
After all that she went through in her last gane, he can’t be this saddistic.
He can. She is so concentrated on the throbbing between her legs that she doesn’t realize when he’s sitting down next to her.
Her lips tremble with a little quiet moan while the little vibrator stuck between her folds edges her again. Chishiya chuckels as the vibration stops and she is suddenly more clear. Himiko frowns but doesn’t have the energy to move more.
- You find this funny?
- Delightful, actually.
She wants to say another thing but she’s yet again stopped by the vibrations that keep her so painfully close to orgasm. Himiko breathes in and tries to focus on Usagi’s swimming, unsuccessfully.
- It’s been 3 hours, stop already.
His half smile is more enfuriating when the vibrator starts again, this time with a longer hold and she really believes he’s granting her that sweet release. But he’s not and tears slip through her eyes. If it wouldn’t be so public he would actually try to help her come, but voyeurs were never a thing for him.
The tears are too much though, he must have overestimated the situation somehow. She tries to hide a sobb when the vibrations start again, short and repetitive.
- Beg me to stop and I might.
She almost yells at him.
- Please.
- That’s not really begging isn’t it?
- Please, Chishiya.
She is serious and he knows it too, the look on her face is priceless though. So messed up, edged so many times and so willing to come - if he would as much as put a finger on her she might collapse.
- Get up, go to my room and undress.
She is too dizzy to process, but she does it. Anything for the release she’s chasing.
The buzzer starts a few times until she gets there but once she drops her bikkini bottoms to the floor the temptation to just get it out and use her fingers is so big, she almost gives in. She likes the challenge but maybe this time it was too far.
He finds her with her hands almost touching that bundle of nerves in her core, only one more second and she might have slipped.
- Such a good girl for me.
He kneels between her legs and once the vibrator starts once more, his lips - barely touching her clit - form one single word:
- Come.
And she does, while his tongue is now caressing every inch of her womanhood to help her ride the so-long-waited orgasm. She slips somewhere between conscious and unconscious for a few moments and opens her eyes to Chishya replacing the little gadget with his own fingers. He touches all the right spots and his mouth is still on her kissing, licking and sucking every sensitive area and she’s once more tensing with an orgasm.
His other hand is busy with his own issue: his grown bulge threatening to spill any second now, at the sight of her.
They find release together: he hits something inside her that feels so unholly and sweet while she scream his name for the whole Beach to hear.
He’s the one standing up first, wetting a towel and cleaning her after all her arousal went down her legs together with his release now.
Himiko snores softly once he reaches to cover her up with a blanket. He takes one of the books she has around and sits on the chair by the window.
The vinrator buzzes in weird rythms now, discarded on the floor. Chishiya looks for someone in the crowd of partying people.
…..
Kuina is holding a little remote with only one button, staring at it with annoyance and pressing it rythmically. He asked her to hold on to it and not press it but he should know better.
Besides, he didn’t tell her what it does, of course she pressed it. And so many times with no result!
Disappointing.
