I think Vincent loves ballet bc his mother likes to take him to watch ballet in an opera house on his birthday once when he was a child even though they are an impoverished family. That day makes Vincent admire the beauty of ballet without him even realizing it and when he is rich enough he buys that opera house to remind him of his mother and his childhood memory
