Kamen Rider Fourze: 1.31 Subaruboshi Kingdom / 1.32 Super Space Sword

After the 39th and 40th Astroswitches are developed, Amanogawa and Subaruboshi High Schools hold a test transfer of some of AGHS's students to SBHS, which causes problems when the Aries Zodiarts makes itself known to the AGHS students... / After Gentaro's death at Ryusei's hands, Kengo does not know how to resurrect him as the Aries Zodiarts takes the other Kamen Rider Club members captive. Elsewhere, having betrayed Tachibana, Ryusei is able to talk to the revived Jiro.

We get to see Sakuta Ryuusei pull his fake friendship mask off and sacrifice everyone to save his friend and sparring partner Jirou. The whole Kamen Rider Club visits their school's neighboring school, Subaruboshi, where the transfer student from their school, has turned the entire thing into his shitty Jdrama studio. He has the Aries power, which means he can make people go to sleep forever if they do something he dislikes. And that also means he can wake up ppl in comas, like Jirou. So basically, Sakuta (transfer student from Subaruboshi to Ama-no-gawa where the KRC is) made a deal with the Aries Zodiart. He betrays Fourze, kills Fourze, in exchange for his friend's life. It's such an awesome reveal it's delicious we've been building up to it slowly for about 10 episodes now. And what we don't see is Ryuusei having to live with the consequences of his actions in the part 2 of this episode, continued in 32. But believe me, the payoff for this is so fucking worth it.

Kari, how is Michinaga worse than Ryusei and Micchy? the both of them have murdered Gentarou and Kouta respectively. In Micchy's case, he murdered both Kouta and his brother, how is Michinaga worse between the three of them.

I'm assuming worse because you have put placed Michinaga in the ditch when both Ryusei and Micchy, who have done the same did, aren't there as well?

Just genuinely curious.

Oh, Micchy is just as bad as Azuma is, certainly. I don't think he really deserves half the mercy Kouta showed him, and I don't think he has achieved a true redemption by the end of the show, either. But he was trying, and that counts for something.

I suppose that his one saving grace is that, at least in the beginning, he undertook his shady actions because he felt responsible for bearing the truth of the Helheim conspiracy and protecting his friends from it.

Ryusei has the slightly more complicated case, due to his friend Jirou's life being used as a bargaining chip against him- the Aries Zodiarts was the only one who could revive him, and he would only do it if he killed Gentaro. He was in an impossible situation, no matter which choice he made he would be killing someone.

And then he goes on to great lengths to correct his mistake, nearly killing himself in the process too.

Azuma, on the other hand, isn't in this to protect anyone, and he didn't kill Keiwa for anyone else's sake. He just did it because Keiwa was getting in the way of what he wanted, and it was all the better that Keiwa ended up being fuel for his desire to be granted. And he isn't above sacrificing total strangers who have no grievances with him, either.

well zero's hosts are bc he runs out of energy outside his original universe (he has a friendship bracelet from God himself that lets him visit different universes), and nexus/noa/the next's are bc tsupro wanted him to prove "anybody can be ultraman" despite never making a title character a woman (ace from the showa era doesn't count bc she got purposely written out of the show). oh wait i forgot the military guy from The Next's movie so his total is actually 5. military guy sucks tho nobody talks about his movie. that entire movie is military propaganda and comphet anyways. i feel bad for the military guy's kid since his parents hate each other and his dad is probably gay for his squad leader and his mom has probably already mentally prepared herself to be ostracized for divorcing her husband.

but at least the soundtrack to that movie was a banger! where was i going with this? oh yeah, i just remembered. if possession is defined as body control, then the aries and taurus zodiarts might count since they controlled their respective schools

Complete Selection Modification OOO Driver Complete Set

Hoo boy, it’s been a long time since I talked about a Kamen Rider belt, and I picked a doozy to do, in multiple senses. There’s a lot, and I mean a lot to talk about here, and a lot of it falls more under ‘feature’ than my usual categories. So, let’s cut the chatter and get to it, I guess.

The Good: This is a very faithful recreation of the OOO Driver. Gone are the flimsy rubber straps, replaced by an actual adjustable belt with a decorative exterior coating and parts that either clip or Velcro onto it for your own comfortability. The scanner features a slew of voice clips from Eiji and Ankh, and three setting depending on who you want to hear while transforming, if anyone at all. It comes with the first ever recreation of Kamen Rider Poseidon’s belt, which makes noise when any three Medals are inserted into it. There are several files from the Kougami Foundation cronicling all of OOO different forms, both new and old. But let’s face it, the real reason you’re getting this set is for the Medals.

This set comes with 57 and 2 half Medals. Each one is newly sculpted and painted, with diecast edges. It comes with all the Medals featured in the shows, movies, specials, and then some, but we’ll get to those in good time.

First are the typical Form Medals. They’re the one’s you’re going to be the most familiar with, and they’re lovingly recreated here.

Next are the silver edged Medals. These were featured in Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FINAL: Build & Ex-Aid with Legend Riders. The only difference between these Medals and the gold ones is that when you scan then they make a different sound. You can use them to make any Combo that would use the gold version of the same Medal, so gold Lion, silver Tora, and gold Cheetah with still yield Latorartar.

Then there’s the special Medals. They’re mostly the ones from the movies and Televi-kun features. There’s Super Tatoba, Core’s Medals, X, Amazon, Stronger, Imajin and Shocker, Kangaroo, and Panda.

Then, the ones you’re probably most curious about, the new Medals. Well, I say new, but six of them should look familiar. There’s included lore that these were the Medals developed by the Kougami Foundation between the end of OOO and when Kamen Rider Aqua and Poseidon appear.

First are Ebi, Kani, and Sasori, which make up the Bikaso Combo. It kinda reminds me of the Scorpio Zodiarts. These Medals should look familiar, as they are usually featured as Cell Medals, and are the same Medals used by Core, except Core has Sasori as the head and Ebi as the legs. Core’s Medals don’t make a Combo noise even if you switch the leg and head Medals.

Then there’s Mukade, Hachi, and Ari, which make up the Mukachiri Combo. While I’m not a fan of the face, the shield and blade are really cool, and I like how there are ants crawling up its legs.

There’s Shika, Gazelle, and Ushi, which form the Shigazeshi Combo. Again, not a fan of the head, but the legs are pretty hilarious with the cow patterns and little heads on the knees.

This might be my favorite new one. The Seiuchi, Shirokuma, and Penguin Medals make the Seishirogin Combo. The legs are amazing. They look like tiny penguins and make flippers!

These ones should also look familiar. This is the Saramiuo Combo, make up of Same, Kujira, the Ookamiuo Medals. They’re also the Medals Poseidon use.

There’s also a Hermit Crab Medal, but it doesn’t have any associated forms.

These Medals are probably the reason you’re going for this set. Even if you have the old DX OOO Driver, you can’t get these forms without the CSM version. It’s super cool that they did that, and adds a real new feel to the belt.

The Bad: I though this set was going to come with a few Cell Medals, but there are none, even though it comes with a Cell Medal holder. It’s not like I miss them, as they don’t do anything with the OOO Driver, but it’s the principle of the matter.

Also, I’m not entirely sure what to do with it. I mean, I don’t really have a place to display the belt. I love the Medals, and I think I’m gonna have fun incorporating them into pictures on occasion, but it’s not like I can display them like I can a Sentai Robot or a figure. I’m thinking of buying and painting a bucket eventually to wear the belt, but that still doesn’t help with displaying the Medals. And I can’t help but wonder how often I’m actually going to pull it off the belt, put it on, and stick Medals in it. It kind of makes me question whether I should have bought it at all and instead just looked up the new Combo noises online.

The Ugly: As with most collector-oriented toys, it’s price. How many of you saw that coming? I got mine discounted, and it still cost me $300. I mean, it’s probably cheaper than going back, tracking down an old DX OOO Driver, all the Core Medals, and even then this belt does more stuff. It’s just a lot of money to drop at once, so it’s something to save up for.

Overall, I like it, but I feel someone who likes OOO more than I do will enjoy it more than me. Still, now that I’ve finally handled a CSM belt, I feel like I’ll be keeping my eyes open for other releases in the future. I would love a Fourze Driver with a few more switches to mess with. I’m not really interested in any of the older ones as Faiz’ isn’t to my liking, and the only other one with similar quality to this one is the DecaDriver, and that requires you to buy 3 separate CSM items to collect all the cards required for it. If I’m going to go for any others in the future, it has to be a full package experience, like this one.

So, I've recently started rewatching "Kamen Rider: Fourze" for the sake of a fanfic I just started. I love and hate (at the same time) that this show has made me start crushing on two characters and their actors!

Yanami Keisuke (played by Ryotaro Sakaguchi)

And Tatsumori Yamada, aka Aries, aka the young king who really did nothing wrong...much (played by Kazuma Kawahara)

They're not side/supporting characters, mind you! They show up in very few episodes, but imo, they deserved more screentime. And yet, here I am, crushing on both of them!

It doesn't help that Tatsumori is an antagonist, too. The last "antagonist" I crushed on was Draco Malfoy (and that was when I was 14...15).

Give back my heart, both of you! (They're not going to, are they?)

Honestly, I don't think either would them would be surprised. It's just such a Gentaro thing to do.

I mean, aside from beating the absolute crap out of Gamou untransformed, this was also the guy who also beat the crap out of Aries Zodiarts right after coming back from the dead. Sure, he was using Cosmic States, but still... HE WAS DEAD NOT EVEN FIVE MINUTES BEFORE. And getting revived didn't magically cure him of the injuries he got before he died either.

In other words... Gentaro is a fucking madlad. And everyone knows it.

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid episode 33 Review

This episode actually stunned me, I did not expect Hiiro’s heel to be that powerful but damn. Hiiro sided with Cronus for a good reason, I honestly cant fault him on why he did it but at the last possible second and when they had cronus on the ropes it just was an utter backstab. You just know Kuroto sorry Neo Kuroto could have saved his girlfriend and probably would have once the bugsters were dealt with but nope have to take the easy way out and make a bargain with the devil. Hiiro my boy why dont you go ask Meteor how his deal with the Aries Zodiart how that worked for him or how about asking Gai how teaming with Ouja went? Deals with the devil in the kamen rider universes tend to end super badly for whoever makes them and eventually Hiiro will get his just desserts! Heh Also R.I.P Salty, you are raging at dying so unfairly in video game afterlife.

Taiga didnt do anything this episode except brood. next episode he might get some focus though.

Nico also did fuck all. Heres hoping for a V-Cinema featuring her and poppy. Seriously give her something to do.

Poppy did fuck all as well so disappointing.

Pallad learned the fear of death, it was interesting to see him lose every bit of his cocky attitude when he realised that yes now the bugster can be permanently killed with no way to continue and nice of Graphite to almost beat some sense into him. It was all a game to him but with permanent death now a threat and his rivalry with Emu having to be put on hold just how will a fired up Pallad react? What part does he have in the gashat/gameshark that will help Emu surpass even a time god?

Neo Dan is legit right that his talent was basically abused by his father and he was utterly manipulated into making Chronicle just so his dad could play God. There is something hilarious that Neo Kuroto got fucked over by a game company that used his talent then discarded him as soon as he wasnt of use anymore, I’m sure this has some real world sting. Nice to know Genm corp can give EA a run for the worst company ever award, least EA games dont try to murder you or infect you with a deadly virus as far as we know.

Emu poor poor Emu, he idolised Hiiro and yet Hiiro turned out to be a massive scumbag. Expect Emu to get beaten up a lot until we get to his final form which he is literally cheating the game. I still find it super hilarious that its basically a game shark that lets Ex-Aid get even stronger.

Hiiro, you are a bag of dicks and I’m sure your girlfriend will love the fact you’ve sacrificed your ideals and lives to bring her back to life and also you are working with a madman. Cant wait to see you get bitten in the ass. Also super great Hiiro is getting screen time! see told you eventually he would get his time in the spotlight just didnt think it would be as the big bad’s (for now) right hand man. Cant wait to see Taddle Legacy as well.

Overall we are moving into the final stretch and I gotta say Ex-Aid has in my eyes a much better flow than even Gaim. I cant wait to see how this game ends.
