At first, I only did this because I had no idea how to decorate my teapot, but now it's become something of a tradition, heh. So here it is, my teapot honmaru throughout the seasons, plus their reference pics~

Sadly, winter teapot will be difficult, unless Hoyoverse suddenly drops a surprise Dragonspine-themed layout on us... please don't make us wait until Snezhnaya for a snowy teapot...

Then, used the stickers to bring home Oden. He's hid in the warehouse for two whole years while my Jiji already passed ranbu lv 6, why are the tenka goken like this 😅

And finally, after draining oh so many forging resources…

I was totally caught off-guard, which made it utterly ridiculous as both he and I went UWAAA!! like we just ran into each other round the corner of an abandoned house at 2 am 🤣 "Why are you surprised?!"

(Yeah, almost half these pics are of the Yamanbagiri combi. In my defense replaying the last chapter is much easier than reloading the entire demo.)

When a toudan you never send to the front lines, or even put in a sortie unit, gets fatigued just by existing during the Great Invasion:

IIRC it's a display-only bug that's already been noted by the DMM team, and if we view our toudan from the Formation screen as opposed to the Great Invasion page their fatigue should be correctly displayed.

Still, it's vaguely amusing (not to mention immersive) to think the boys are getting stressed by the war going on even when they're not personally on the front lines 😅

JIJIIIIIIIIIII—

First they hit me with the opening cutscene. Which, due to connexion issuss when I first installed Tourabu, I had to endure SO many times back in the day, enough to make rewatching it today an "Ah, I feel like being in a time loop" moment…

Except then, of course, the distortion began.

[Spoilers from here on out! Am rambling for posterity's sake!]

Second: they hit me with this cutscene.

…which was all kinds of emotions mixed in one unholy blender, that last calm before the storm shared over a cup of tea. But then. Mercilessly, we press on.

Jiji leaves.

(And I start panicking in the chat because I couldn't be noisy IRL at the time 😅)

This is quite literally, aside for my first 3-4 days playing, my first time not having Jiji around in the honmaru. He and Manba have always been there from the start, often taking turns as my aide, and just as often in the same unit of my trusty best-of-the-best.

(And yes, this little fact means this event hit me with that extra oomph, given that it's centred squarely on the core duo of my honmaru 😅)

Scared and unsure what to do, quickly slotted Crow Papa into Jiji's usual position and sent 'em out to face the invasion.

They barely could do anything. Their hits dealt next to no damage. The enemy, once it moved, KO'd both Crow Papa and Manba.

And then…

Jiji appears and oneshots the enemy captain! But it seems like he intends to make a lone stand against them while the team retreats? Anyway, we end up in the honmaru, which is somehow transported into this strange place (which looks oddly familiar… Tourabu Musou?).

And of course, as soon as they've caught their bearings, the first thing out of Manba's mouth?

Oh and as if that wasn't enough? Tonight, 29 March 2022, is a waning crescent moon.

I hope the rengeki mechanic is gonna be a permanent addition to Tourabu, because I'm having so much fun watching my boys gang up on enemies 🤣

And of course, it's the trusty team who does it most reliably. They've fought alongside each other for ages now, more or less unchanged except for certain circumstantial maps, they can do whole-unit manoeuvres in sync~

With all the excitement lately, forgot to post that I also sent Nama off to kiwame, since he'd kindly allowed Jiji to overtake him on the kiwame queue and thus could not leave directly after Honey 😅

I had Jiji send him off, same as his brother, but due to the former being kiwame'd and it possibly (?) still being a spoiler this soon, I'll hide him under the cut, heh.

The first thing that caught my attention: the different mood compared to pre-kiwame Jiji sending Honey off.

If previously he was essentially telling us that the toudan leaving may very well die a miserable death while away and there's nothing we can do about it, now he's telling us to just let them be and do what they need to do. Interesting…

Ah. Tourabu finally decides to have some plot on main… I think.

My sincere apologies to Mucchan, but I'm gonna hafta do this with my beloved. Manba-chan, tanomu zo.

Yeaaaah, this is making me nervous. What's gonna happen? Why is Jiji here? I mean, for my honmaru in particular it tracks, he's been there since within my first week and spent so much time as my constant aide, so if my toudan look to him for guidance or as aruji's representative that makes sense, but…

"Moon, asking"? That's the intro we get from the free copy of Jiji they're giving us. It counts as part of this event's convos. They literally give everyone Jiji so he will be around for what's gonna happen.

That's making me even more scared, blast it!!
