I get that the anons point is models don’t get dropped by agencies, I get that, but we’ve had other people with knowledge saying you also don’t represent and agency formally on your bio and SM unless you have signed a contract. I agree with the fact that I don’t think models gets dropped very often at all but I also have to say I don’t think it’s some easy come easy go agency to agency when you formally announce shit and then go back and edit. If that’s ok in modelling agencies land? Unprofesh.
I'm very confused about that part. How do you have Industry in your bio, on your grid (theoretically so advertisers can contact and book you) if the agency doesn't have a contract to represent you? That was on her grid for weeks. What if some brand on July 22nd said, great, I want to book Ari Lou Fournier, what would Industry NY have done if they didn't have a live and active contract with her?
Just from a basic contract law standpoint, it sounds crazy to me.
