Many inhabitants of the Mariana Municipal partake in turf wars. This includes the shop owners on occasion.

In the case of Areefa, she lets her Garden Eel take over temporary watch of the shop while she shoots some ink for fun.

She's actually scary good despite her sweet appearance and bubbly personality outside the battlefield.
