Fun Fact:

If someone is asking for advice because they are struggling and your only response is “git gud”

You are Not Helping! At all! You are not giving advice on how you can avoid x attack or block y wave, you are not giving strategies on what works best against a certain enemy, you are certainly not telling them what part of their strategies or tactics or equipment they need to improve on, you get the point.

You could argue that you are telling people to practice to get better, and sometimes you may be right. If that’s what you mean, you still chose to word in a way that makes you sound like a fucking jackass who just wants to mock someone who has the AUDACITY to ask for advice on progressing in a video game

#I’ve had this sentiment for a while #and it’s just built up more when I started playing elden ring #I often search for advice on reddit #and today I found a post that was someone who got into git gud culture #after joining reddit #his conclusion was that anyone who gets mad at the difficulty of the game #are just whiny crybabies who need to git gud #doesn’t matter if they have valid complaints #against burnbarl the helldick who instakills you at half his health no matter how full your health is #or any other issue #they were just automatically crybabies who can’t handle a soulslike #l think a huge majority of git gud sayers #just have some sort of superiority complex over being good at the game #and also are redditors #elden ring
