just a couple of princes (overthought name logic under the cut)
for both of them:
abraxas as the family's surname from the gnostic great archon, the god from demian (maybe best known on weeb tumblr for what the "crack the world's shell" speech in revolutionary girl utena is directly referencing), and the original name of the island in thomas more's utopia
el is another way to say "from"/"of" in esperanto, the language used in metaphor - specifically my headcanon here is that the royal family use el, while all other euchronian nobility (like strohl's family) use da
amaurot as the territory name also because of it being the name of the city in utopia, and because grand trad was named "sanct amaurot" in early development - i'm imagining here that amaurot was the original name of the city/territory around it when euchronia was founded, and the rename to grand trad was comparatively recent after the annex war
for more/hythlodaeus V:
thomas for thomas more, self-explanatory
raphael is also from utopia, for raphael hythlodaeus, also self-explanatory
for the prince:
lilia from lilium, the genus for lilies, which are the closest match for the royal flowers/eldan sanctum flowers
it also doubles as a silly reference to lilia from twisted wonderland, just as a nod to the sleeping beauty/briars reference there for the curse
alexander because it's one of the alternate default protagonist names (russian, specifically), and for lilium alexandrae, a type of japanese lily that are white and green like the royal flowers

Khamael , Archangel of Mars Talon Abraxas
Samael is the Archangel of Mars – prince of the fifth heaven, lord of war and pestilence, and angel of death and destruction. He is the Sathan (Adversary) who visited wrath upon Job, slew the firstborn in Egypt, and (as the Guardian Angel of Easu) wrestled with Jacob. As the Sathan he accuses men of their wrongdoings in the Divine Court. Samael should not be confused with the modern Christian concept of Lucifer or the Devil. Samael is not the source of all evil, nor did he ever wage war upon the Throne of God.
He was, however, cast down to Earth when he refused to bow to Adam as the Image of God. (He had previously sworn to never bow to anything less than God Himself.) Once here, he took Lilith as his wife and has acted as the Divine Accuser, Enforcer and Angel of Death ever since. While he is still very much in the employ of God, he persecutes and seduces mankind when he is ordered to do so.
(Some sources equate Samael with Shemyaza, the leader of the fallen Watchers from the Book of Enoch. This is likely due to both Samael and Shemyaza being punished for disobedience, yet each retaining their positions as celestial angels. However the angels share no other characteristics, and this similarity does not prove the two angels are one and the same.)
The ancient Gnostics elevated him to the position of Demiurgos (the Creator) and interpreted his name to mean “Blind God.” They also called him Ialdabaoth and Saklas. His form was described as a lion-headed serpent. He and his angels (called archons) had created the world as a prison where they could feed upon mankind’s suffering. Later forms of Gnosticism, however, did not equate Ialdabaoth with Samael.
Samael was at one point regarded as the Patron Angel of Rome – and it is likely in this aspect that we see him (as the Dragon with Seven Heads) engaging in single combat against Michael (the Patron Angel of Israel) in the Revelation of St. John.
More recent tradition has given him the name Khamael (Camael, Camuel, etc) – the result of mistranslating a Hebrew Samekh (S) as a Kaph (Kh). In this form he is regarded primarily as the Angel of War and Divine Severity.
Invitation to Samael
I invoke thee, Samael! Holy Archangel of the Martial sphere! I call upon thee within thy realm of Severity and Fear!
Samael, Powerful, Bloody, Sword-bearer, Bold, Untamed, Terrestrial Fire, against whom none can defend himself, thou who destroys the strong and powerful, Lord of fiery heat – and of the planet of blood!
Samael, who art the Adversary, accusing men of their wrongdoing. Fearsome warrior and divine enforcer! You who inflicted Job with sorrow, who slew the firstborn of Egypt, and wrestled with Jacob. It is you who bears the wrath of God unto the Earth! You who overthrow nations and cast kings down from their thrones!
O Samael, we have called upon you [here list the reasons you have called him in the past, if any, and the positive results that came from those workings]. For all of this we thank you!
Come thou forth and partake of these offerings, which we have prepared in thy honour and to the glory of Elohim Gibor. May you find them pleasing and empowering. I ask that you offer your blessings to my home and family, and bear our offerings and prayers of thanksgiving to the Divine Court. We petition thee for strength and protection in all of our undertakings, for defense of our home, and that the light of thy wisdom should guide and keep us at all times. In the name of Elohim Gibor. Amen.

‘Inasmuch as the devil was an angel created by God and “fell like lightning from heaven,” he, too, is a divine “procession” that became Lord of this world. It is significant that the Gnostics thought of him sometimes as the imperfect demiurge and sometimes as the Saturnine archon, Ialdabaoth. Pictorial representations of this archon correspond in every detail with those of a diabolical demon. He symbolized the power of darkness from which Christ came to rescue humanity. The archons issued from the womb of the unfathomable abyss, i.e., from the same source that produced the Gnostic Christ.’ --Carl Jung
A Psychological Approach to the Trinity 1958, par. 255
Demiurge Yaldabaoth (Demiurge/Abraxas) Image Art: Jose Gabriel Alegría Sabogal Edit: Mahaboka
"The Light of Sophia always emerges from the sexual Chaos, and this Light shines in the Darkness. Sophia, as a Verb, is Yaldabaoth in complete action." -- Samael Aun Weor, The Pistis Sophia Unveiled

Alan Wake and The Implications™️ of Gnosticism as told by Carl Jung (1916)
So in AW2 NG+, there is a new video called "Spiral," where he ruminates on the implications of what the Spiral could mean (spoilers below, and a very long post ahead)!
"There are loops beyond these loops. Vast, complex super structures. Beyond what's happening to me now, ahead of me. And I'm there as well. A version of me, something I have become- some elevated, enlightened version- an archon, a demiurge, a demon of some sort- playing a secret game."
Now this is veeeery interesting to me.
In the Gnostic religion, The Demiurge (literally "artisan" in Greek) is described as a creator of the material world. He is the God of the world, but not the God of the universe. Think Cronus or Odin, under Uranus and Burí. The Demiurge cannot create something out of nothing. He takes matter, already existent and created by the upper god, and turns it into our world, though it comes out imperfect due to the matter being imperfect.
Then, we have another Greek word admist his monologue: the "archon." The archon is Greek for "ruler" but in Gnosticism, it is the builder(s) of the universe, composed of a team. There's usually seven, and each one rules a planet.
And finally, the demon. That's self-explanatory. In Gnosticism, the definition is interchangeable with the Archons. The Archons are demons and the demons are Archons. Yes, this is relevant.
What I find interesting is the intersection where these definitions meet, the center of the Venn diagram. The Demiurge, the Archon, and the Demon is Yaldabaoth, The Son of Chaos and The Prince of Darkness. He is also known in some iterations as Samael, the Angel of Death, and is primarily viewed as the precursor to our modern day Satan, as well as the Gnostic equivalent to Seth, Saturnus/Cronus, and Typhon. He is described as having a face made of "half flame, half darkness, defiled with blood."
If you ask what his morality is, you will spur a fishtfight among the occult (as I found out by perusing the various forums and subs). He is generally considered evil or amoral, but he used to be depicted as a genuinely "good" God. He is usually described as arrogant, a "fiery nature," ignorant of higher powers and jealous of other gods.
Now, Jung further developed his idea of the Demiurge and Archon and Demon from Yaldabaoth, giving him the name of Abraxas, as taught by Basilides. Little is known about Abraxas, as the sources beyond Jung are scarce, though his name dates back to the ancient Greeks. The church burned much of the text that held his name. The Catholic Church outright banned him for being a pagan God and a demon. He is the God of time, and is more powerful and more dualistic than the aforementioned Yaldabaoth (both morally and figuratively) . He was a prominent figure in his book, *Seven Sermons to the Dead,* where he had this to say about him:
"That which is spoken by God-the-Sun is life; that which is spoken by the Devil is death; Abraxas speaketh that hallowed and accursed word, which is life and death at the same time. Abraxas begetteth truth and lying, good and evil, light and darkness in the same word and in the same act. . . He is the God of the cosmos, extremely powerful and fearful. He is the creative drive, he is form and formation, just as much as matter and force, therefore he is above all the light and dark Gods. He tears away souls and casts them into procreation. He is the creative and created. . . His power is the very greatest, because man does not perceive it at all. He is magnificent even as the lion at the very moment when he strikes his prey down. His beauty is like the beauty of a spring morn. To see him means blindness; To know him is sickness; To worship him is death; To fear him is wisdom; Not to resist him means liberation … Such is the terrible Abraxas … He is both the radiance and the dark shadow of man. He is deceitful reality."
Abraxas is duality, the God and the Devil combined in one. He is the beginning and the end. The first word and the last.
Anyway, we reach the part where he has successfully Ascended. He pronounces himself the "Master of Many Worlds." He becomes, in this sense, an "archon, a demiurge, a demon," and I can only imagine what that entails. Talk about a character arc!

Yaldabaoth, the vile gnostic demiurge of matter. Yaldabaoth is a self absorbed dictator, a being who stubbornly believes in his ignorance. Yaldabaoth seeks to keep humanity from realizing their enlightened existence, keeping them in physical forms and forcing them to worship him. Yaldabaoth calls himself the one true god, demoting all others as false, this is despite the fact that he himself is the false one. Yaldabaoth was created when the Aeon of knowledge Sophia sought to create something by herself without the divine light of the true God, this ignorance gave birth to Yaldabaoth. Yaldabaoth then created the material universe from matter, creating the Archon’s in the process, aspects of the physical universe. When Yaldabaoth created humanity, Sophia instilled within them their souls, directly from the true God. Sophia then influenced the snake of Eden to entice Adam and Eve, when the two bit the forbidden fruit they learned the truth of Yaldabaoth in their enlightenment and debased him. Infuriated Yaldabaoth banished them both from Eden and later sent the flood to wipe out humanity. But each time Yaldabaoth sought to lead humanity astray, Sophia would interfere and sneak in the truth into Yaldabaoth’s lies.
Yaldabaoth is believed by Gnostics to be the God of the Old Testament, or at least their more wrathful incarnations. Because of his connection to the Abrahamic God Yaldabaoth can trace his origins back to the Semitic El. Though mainly viewed as villainous, the view on Yaldabaoth does differ with different groups, some believe that he’s merely ignorant to the higher powers and unable to create a perfect world. Yaldabaoth was transformed by the Basilidians into Abraxas, a more benevolent being that ruled the physical world and stood above his 365 Archons. Yaldabaoth’s alternate title: Demiurge, comes from an ancient term for Creator gods and artisans.

A hypothetical god tier for Harry Potter: the Heir of Hope.
An Heir of Hope is among those who explore faith in possibility. They are motivated by others to manipulate assurance. (x) The Heir of Hope struggles with restraint, gets caught up easily, and has big dreams. (x) They are the Child Believer, defined by uninhibited assurance. (x) Their opposite is the Witch of Rage. Their inverse is the Mage of Rage. They share their personality with the Page of Life. The Heir of Hope would quest on a planet similar to the Land of Shade and Hope, reigned over by Dionysus (God of Revelry) or Abraxas (the Great Archon). They would rise to ascension on the wings of doves. (x)(x)(x)

Is the Demiurge real? Does the universe have an inherent vice?
I mean I wouldn't know it's not like I've practiced enough magick and rituals or even visited a higher plain via psychedelics or anything of that sort to be able to consult the grand architect and been able to ask. I'm agnostic on this though. It would be wild if the demiurge would be behind a lot of things credited to the almighty.
Hell maybe it's possible or was possible freemasonry were aware of this and hence why they credit or "worship" the "grand archirect" instead of naming any god name. Perhaps the grand architect is the being known as "lucifer" and others but above all sits the one true god.
Why in the hell would the world be like this? I have no idea. Do believe in this? No. Have I thought this planet could be a prison planet amongst others spawned by a demiurge? During dark times ive questioned such crazy things. Shit that would be crazy.
I'm pretty sure this is what esoteric circles hail as the great archon, Abraxas.

“According to traditional, Gnostic doctrine, Abraxas was the son of Sophia (wisdom). He was born as an archon, whose job it was to keep people enslaved to matter. However with time, even Abraxas attained Gnosis, and now he points the way to help others attain Gnosis. The sections of his body represent the different stages of psychological identification with the elements, culminating in calling out to the light- or Gnosis. Abraxas is a product of the human soul.” -Timothy Hogan

Abraxas / アプラクサス
Abraxas is the ultimate Faith spell in Three Houses, summoning a beam of light to plummet from the sky. Defining Abraxas is a challenge: there are a vast interpretations of what it means. What is certain is that Abraxas (also called Abrasax) is a Gnostic concept founded by the teacher Basilides. He called Abraxas the "great Archon"—the leader of the 365 archons that built the universe. Some take this to mean that Abraxas is the name of God, while others consider Abraxas to be one or the culmination of the archons. Others interpret Abraxas to be one of the Aeons. The Catholic Church, of course, considers it the name of a demon, but considering it is white magic in Fire Emblem, that likely isn't the interpretation they acknowledged.
The Greek ΑΒΡΑΣΑΞ (ABRASAX) or ΑΒΡΑΞΑΣ (ABRAXAS), or the Latin ἀβραξάς (abraxas) or ἀβρασάξ (abrasax) have frequently been inscribed in stones now creatively called "Abraxas-stones." The sheer number and appearance of these stones suggest that they were used as charms of protection, and that Abraxas may not have been a deity, but magic words. Many of them would be accompanied by names and/or symbols of other gods. But most frequently, the Abraxas-stones would carry the image of the chimerical Anguipede, with the chest and arms of a man, serpents for legs, and a rooster's head. This became accepted my many to be the figure of Abraxas.
In Japanese, this spell is similarly called アプラクサス (rōmaji: apurakusasu). This is a simple corruption of Abraxas (JP: アブラクサス; rōmaji: aburakusasu)
This was a segment from a larger document reviewing the name of most every weapon and item in Three Houses and Three Hopes. Click Here to read it in full.

Mythic Creatures by Culture & Region
Part 7: Orthodox Religions
Full list & overview of creatures here.
Many religions are ethnoreligions: the religion of the Ancient Greeks (Hellenes) is called the Ancient Greek (or Hellenic) religion, simply named after that culture. The same goes for Ancient Egyptian, Roman. From Hinduism to Yoruba religion, most religions to ever have existed are simply the belief systems of that cultural area.
But some religions behave more like social movements -- they view society as having problems (sin) and promise salvation, which means they usually envision a great good-versus-evil cosmic war. Some of those movements (like Buddhism and Jainism) nonetheless are fairly focused on individual enlightenment and thus often not as critical of society or as ambitious to attack existing institutions of power (or to become them).
Orthodox religions on the other hand really can't stand wrong-think (heresy) or material expressions of cultural beliefs (idolatry) and critique these as sinful tendencies that get people off track or that marry people to the existing "fallen-ness" of society.
The creatures or beings listed below are either directly from such religious movements or they are from something that grew out of them, such as the many demon summoning books summarized in the Goetia section.

My personal interpretations of Cruelty Squad
Firstly: The Triagons gave birth to each other, hence why "X triagon was born of Y" where Y is usually what the previous one represented. I mention this specifically becuase I've seen a lot of people assume the trigons represent what they are born from, which A. The wording seems to say otherwise and B. I have reason to believe otherwise.
Like the whole idea of peeling an onion at the end of the game, the key to understanding them is to start from the outside and work inward, going backwards.
The Third triagon was born of Death. With life now being finite, the energy being given to the earth (Organism) was suddenly more than was needed to sustain life, thus creating wealth. With the creation of wealth, conflict was born.
It takes the form of Abraxas in the Archon Grid (Or rather a part of them that was planted as a "seed" hence his flower like form). He is Capitalism and the spirit of the free market. The idea of wealth as a very concept. He is also your boss, both philosophically and physically.
To explain this, I first have to explain my theory about how the world of Cruelty Squad works. You see, CONTROL, the building you raid in Office, is the parent company of every other company. Each company fights, thrives, lives and dies in competition with each other, but in reality they are little more than the various tendrils of CONTROL, who manages this whole ecosystem to make Abraxas continually grow in power (Again he's literally a flower).
Elsa Holmes "The Archdemoness" and the 4 subarchons essentially act as gatekeepers to Archon grid, and once they are dead, the grid opens up and you kill Abraxas.
By doing so, you eliminate all wealth, and by extension conflict from the world. You live among friends and spend the rest of your life in idle contentment. Everyone is equal, represented by an infinite flat plane. But without conflict, you are now trapped and unable to change anything. Change cannot be brought about without conflict and youre now stuck in a world of emptiness, the tower you're walking to is infinitely far away, much like how you will now never reach a better understanding of the universe.
The Third Triagon's color is Red. Worn by the wealthy people in Idiot Party and the CTO in Office.
The second Triagon was born of Life. Its death, nice and straight forward. An end to the previously infinite expanse of life. This leads nicely into my theory about "Divine Link"
Now a lot of games that have respawn tend to invoke the philosophical question "are you really still you?" Cruelty Squad does not. Once you die and have your divine link severed, thats it. You are now nothing but a flesh automoton driven by neurotransmitters. A flesh golem implanted with the previous memories of you. Your literal soul is gone. This is why trying to enter divine link doors say "something feels missing"
The Divine sphere heals you spiritually and physically. It undoes the experimental power in misery modifications and restores you as you.
But what if, instead of a soul, you supplemented it with... something else? What if you turned away from the light entirely and embraced the fact that you're nothing more than an instrument of death? What if your soul was made of negative energy? What if every breath you took was only a means to spread as much death as physically possible.
So yes, I am saying that Hope Eradicated is basically you becoming the Lich from Adventure Time and filling the spot where a soul should be with something thats not a soul.
The "Life" ending is interesting to me. The big face with LIFE written on it says you're meeting the Triagon of life, but everything else says otherwise. To meet him, you must first KILL THE FEW FRIENDS YOU HAVE (This is 100% canon too. Once you enter Cruelty Squad HQ on Hope Eradicated, all the NPCS who were nice to you suddenly die and will not respawn and the face will even say "Your friends are in Hell, yet you smile), pass the hallway toxic to all life and then kill the CEO to take his place, either by the ZKZ transactional rifle (Which is powered up by your CEO mindset) or with the Bolt ACR, a weapon that no longer affects you.
My theory is that this is actually the Triagon of Death, the LIFE sign simply being irony. Life is a joke to are . You spread death and suffering all in the name of your own desires. Nothing is more important.
The second Triagon's color is Blue. Worn by the security at idiot party, and the CSO in Office, as well as the color of the Hope Eradicated border.
Confronting Death, they are in awe of you. You become the new CEO and now have the final piece of the puzzle to face the First and Final Triagon.
The Third Triagon was born out of Malice, but is life itself. This is horrendous to think about considering the implication is that life in and of itself is evil. By entering the trauma loop, you make your way over to the Cradle of Life, where life itself came from. In doing so, you've basically launched yourself into the very inner workings of universe. You fuck everything up so bad that the value of life becomes negative, but you, as a being of DEATH instead grow to be so much more. A "being of pure grace"
You look upon the vast cosmos that are now your kingdom and you begin to peel an onion. As you go layer by layer, the laws of the universe begin to break down and it becomes an infinitely dense spec once again.
Remember that life was born of Malice. The universe itself is an organism of Malice. It hates you. It hates itself. It does not want to exist. So you grant it mercy. By doing so you've deleted existance itself. What was once the universe is now empty but content with itself. A "Golden Age" The color of first triagon is Green, worn by the high priest in Idiot Party, Human Resources in Office, your landlord and several other people who are uniquely tied to the "greater meaning" of the game.

Just watched Late Night with the Devil. Amazing movie, all actors/actresses were great! Whoever voiced Abraxas had a very attractive voice. Well, uh, here comes my note/complaint. Us satanists can't expect that anyone would do a movie that portrays our gods more realistically... or respectfully... Abraxas isn't even a demon, he's an Archon, he does not dwell in the Infernal realm. Anyways that's all thanks for reading lol
