Le Corbusier-(October 6, 1887 – August 27, 1965) Swiss-French architect, designer, painter, urban planner, writer, and one of the pioneers of what is now called modern architecture. The chapel of Notre Dame du Haut in Ronchamp was completed in 1954, and it is one of the finest examples of the architecture of architect Le Corbusier and one of the most important examples of twentieth-century religious architecture.
