it sucks that since there’s no talks it may be a while before we learn who matt would’ve targeted if disintegration had failed...

Realistically, Vokodo would have redirected onto the biggest threats. Beau had been doing a lot of damage, Caleb was the spellcaster, but Jester? Jester’s the one who banished him.

I could do a whole bunch on how Caleb would’ve felt, but let’s be real, I don’t think it would’ve changed significantly person by person. It’s him killing his family, yet again, with absolutely no way to stop or save it, full of righteous confidence.

But the real interesting thing is that Jester, the most likely target, is also the most likely to...well, not survive. But I’m just saying. The Traveler is coming. He has hundreds of followers arriving shortly. His last interaction with Jester was avoiding a divine intervention after promising to keep her safe.

You think he wouldn’t break the universe to bring her back? Cause I do. And I’m pretty sure the Mighty Nein would’ve helped.
