|| Tyranus turns her head left and right, making sure Kakeru and Haruhi aren’t around. Thankfully, they’re the only two lifeforms she has to keep track of on this Facegod-forsaken dimension... ||

|| Haruhi was just staring out at the ruined skyline from the main loft office of the Dekabutsu. They’d made this, the central building of Kamina City, their base while they were still at this level. It was night, from what Haruhi could tell (with the planets out of orbit it was honestly hard to tell), but for some reason, she didn’t feel a need to sleep. ||

|| So, she was up here, staring down at the ruined city, observing what needed fixing down below. She focused down on a toppled skyscraper, and returned it to its original upright form. ||

A skyscraper is one thing, but Kakeru and Tyranus are expecting me to put together planets by the end of this...

|| She turned as the doors to the office slid open, seeing Kakeru step through them. Seeing him up didn’t surprise Haruhi much. She knew that he’d had trouble sleeping, and most of all in this place... ||

“Ah, Kakeru. Hey...”

|| Even a demigoddess needed to keep clean. Fortunately, Haruhi and Kakeru’s new residence in the reconstructed Teppelin had several baths, where both could bathe and relax. ||

|| As Haruhi had her eyes closed, enjoying the hot water, she heard someone else coming in… It could only be one person. ||

“Ah, Kakeru. What brings you in here?”

|| Haruhi was really tired. Rebuilding Mercury, now with an atmosphere and climate suitable for living creatures, had taken a lot out of her… So, she and Kakeru were taking a break before moving on to the rest of the solar system. ||

“*sigh* Oh, wow… That was a real strain. Nice to be resting after that…”

“So, now that we’ve gotten the Earth 75 percent rebuilt, I figured I’d do my part by taking up a hobby: gardening.”

“Sound boring? Well, it might be, if I didn’t plant seed pods I snagged from Mandrakon...”

|| Suddenly, in the soil where Tyranus planted the pods, a bed of huge, venus fly trap-like plants rapidly grew, their jagged maws drooling with pink nectar... ||

“That’s how we do it in my garden.”
