hughes!sister x will smith au (samy + will)
summary: the hughes brothers realize their baby sister finally found the guy for her + watch her fall in love
2.4k words
this request was so cutie and i enjoyed writing it :) pls send it anymore requests you guys have for samy and will!
au masterlist
for some reason, the hughes brothers never saw their baby sister's relationship with will coming except luke who was the one still around as the feelings grew and the relationship developed—of course he picked up on all of the signs the younger smith sibling gave samy. him and will were almost the same age, so the teenage pining was all too familiar to the middle hughes.
quinn and jack on the other hand? oh forget about them knowing until the summer they came home after samy finished up her senior year. with them being away for most of the year, they missed every single gaze, touch, and stolen glances between the teenagers as the year went on. plus, luke's not one to talk about his crushes in general, so why would he mention anything about his sister's love life to the two older siblings?
the entire relationship left all three of them speechless when it finally happened. watching samy and will interact at the draft in nashville was the brothers' first indication something was happening. they looked way too close than usual considering will's always been attached to luke or jack growing up. he'd just naturally gravitate towards the boys as they grew up in the summer months together pushing each other off the dock, having diving competitions, and playing hockey in the driveway. neither jack nor luke noticed will slowly attaching himself to their sister instead as the years went on.
when samy and will's first date came a month later, the boys were skeptical. of course they knew will and how he was the sweetest soul on the planet—it was their older brother instincts kicking in. samy was their baby sister and it took a certain guy to be the right one for her and neither of the brothers wanted her to get hurt. sure, will was family, but that didn't mean he couldn't fuck something up.
their teasing was relentless before they let the young couple leave, but really it was all a tactic to see how well will held up under this new dynamic.
"can you guys shut up?" samy eyed luke standing against the wall before glancing at their mom for help.
"what? we're just saying. mom never let us go out to ann arbor by ourselves when we were yoyr age," jack piped in from the couch. will stood beside samy in a nervous mess, unaware of the brothers (mostly jack and luke) eyeing him down.
"guys, just cool it, okay? let your sister be," jim stepped in because he was probably the only one that could shut jack and luke up. the boys shut their mouths after that and samy dragged will out of the house before anymore comments could be made.
"seriously?" ellen eyed her boys.
"what? we gotta poke fun at her too," luke defended.
"you were gonna give will a nervous breakdown," the older woman rolled her eyes.
"it's nothing he hasn't heard before. just gotta make sure he's up to our standards for our sister," jack shrugged.
they were still up when samy came back through the door at around 10:30. they all perked up when she walked into the kitchen with the biggest smile on her lips.
"someone's smiley," jack commented.
"maybe it's too early to say this, but i really think it's gonna work out between us. at least, i really hope it does," samy gushed, a lovesick expression on her features that her brothers had never seen before.
her words turned a gear in their brains. they've never heard her talk about a guy like that before nor had they seen a look like that on her face after she came back from a date. that stuck out to them and for a split second, they thought that maybe will was the right guy for her. maybe.
the start of the new school year had the hughes siblings breaking up until summer again. samy headed off to umich for her first semester, luke flew out to jersey with jack to really begin his rookie year, and quinn headed back out west to vancouver—a captaincy in his near future. with the brothers not there, they didn't see the development of will and samy's new relationship. yes, the siblings were close, but there were some things they didn't talk about in detail with one another. one of them being their relationships and love life.
anytime the youngest hughes was on facetime with her brothers, she only briefly mentioned will and they also never really asked. when summer quickly came back around and the gang reunited, they were still skeptical of will. was he really the guy for samy? was he becoming like every other jerk hockey player the boys knew all too well because well, they were once that guy too.
their relationship was approaching one year and the brothers finally got to see and understand that yes, will was the perfect guy for their sister.
lazy lake days were everyone's favorites because people went and did their own thing whether it was nap all day, tan, or just mess around. luke immersed himself with a conversation with some of his old umich friends. ethan and mark yapped on and on about their hockey season while luke chimed in with details from his rookie year. the boy missed being in michigan everyday, but he was glad he could reconnect with everyone during the summer months for a few weeks.
after awhile, luke needed to go inside to get a new drink. he nodded to some of his brother's friends on his way up the yard before sliding the glass doors open. relief filled his body as the cold ac air hit his skin and cooled him down from the burning 90 degree temperatures outside. he was about to head back outside until voices caught his attention in the living room.
he shuffled that way, not quite recognizing who was talking until he saw the faces. luke met samy and will's friends a few times, but he didn't know them that well. two boys stood by the couch snickering to one another with their phone cameras out. luke raised his eyebrow, trying to peer over them to see what had their attention.
he finally spotted his sister and will curled up on the couch together. samy's head was tucked into the crook of will's neck while his own head laid atop hers. her legs were thrown over his lap and his arm draped over her shoulders. seeing them in that position was still so foreign to the middle hughes.
"gonna have a whole album by the time summer's over," luke was pretty sure his name was ryan. ryan showed him the photo album on his phone titled smitty's so whippedwhich made luke laugh.
"god, they were so insufferable over the phone and even worse in person," gabe teased.
"will was always calling samy like at any chance he got. pretty sure we tried throwing will's phone out the window one time because he wouldn't stop calling her," ryan snickered.
luke's expression settled a bit the more he stared at his sister and will. it almost softened for a second thinking about will constantly calling her to hear her voice. that wasn't something a jerky hockey player did, luke thought in his head.
"they were annoying, but it was cute i suppose. never seen smitty act like this before, it's kind of nice seeing a different side of him," gabe added with a tiny smile.
the boys' words left luke thinking. he thought back to when samy came home after their first date last year and the look on her face he'd never seen before. hearing about will's change too made the hughes brother think maybe will wasn't like every other guy.
later that day, luke crowded around the kitchen island with quinn and jack as the three discussed when they wanted to go golfing and if they wanted to invite anyone. samy shuffled into the kitchen, sleep laced in her eyes still with will right behind her.
"morning," luke laughed a little seeing his sister.
"morning," the girl grumbled back obviously not in the mood for any teasing.
"heard you two had a pretty sound nap," jack chuckled.
"yeah, it was really nice actually. thanks for asking," samy's voice dripped with sarcasm towards her brother.
"jeez, someone's grumpy," the older brunette laughed which made quinn and luke chuckle too. all samy did was give him the middle finger as she bent down to pick up the bottle cap she dropped.
instinctively, will wrapped his hand around the counter edge so samy wouldn't hit her head when she came back up. the gesture went unnoticed by samy since it was in will's second nature to just do that, but the brothers saw it very clearly. they saw how will didn't even think when he did it, he just did.
neither of them mentioned it when they left, but all three of them thought about the gesture for awhile after.
jack wasn't good at falling asleep. his parents liked calling him the night owl in the family since they could never put him down for bed. he'd just jump right back up, his energy bursting to get out.
the middle hughes tiptoed around the guys asleep on air mattresses scattered across the house. he thought maybe some food could make him sleepy, so he started searching the fridge for a snack.
the guy didn't notice samy and will until he let his gaze drift to the backyard while he cut up some apples. his eyes stopped on the gently swinging hammock on the deck and the two people inside. he immediately recognized samy's frizzy curls—very much taking after luke with that gene.
jack wasn't meaning to be creepy, but he crept a bit closer to the back doors to get a better look. will's arm was draped around her shoulder and samy's head was on his chest. he could hear their faint voices through the door and small giggles at whatever they were talking about.
the older brunette smiled to himself briefly before a few tears edged their way to jack's eyes. seeing his sister in love was not something he thought would make him emotional, but after watching her grow up, it all felt bittersweet in jack's mind.
he was always the one samy would go to first after luke if she needed something. he was closer to her age and while she didn't think quinn couldn't give advice, he was six years older. jack and luke were and have always been samy's go to's. jack was emotional in the fact that his baby sister finally found someone who sat in a hammock with her late at night to look at the stars—especially someone she already knew so well.
he left them be after he cut up his apples, retreating back to his room where he'd go to sleep knowing samy was in the right hands.
water guns were most definitely the worst investment for the lake house. the hockey boys went crazy with them full and armed like they were going to squirt anyone who walked by them. somehow, some of the guys and the girls managed to get themselves into a mini water gun fight.
gabe and ryan teamed up against samy and hannah originally. their squealing caught the attention of some of the other guys who quickly ran to join gabe and ryan against the girls. rutger aided in throwing water balloons at them while mark and moldy chased them with water buckets. poor samy and hannah were severely out numbered.
"hey! you can't run forever!" moldy yelled as he chased after the youngest hughes with an entire bucket of water.
"i can and i will!" samy yelled back at him. the brothers found it amusing and endearing that a lot of their friends saw samy as their own little sister they could constantly tease.
will walked onto the deck where samy immediately ran to him as a shield. the blonde grew confused before he saw nick with the largest water bucket he'd ever seen.
"hey, woah. you can't dump that on me," will said as he held his arm out, shielding samy from the impending water.
"i will if you don't move so i can get samy," moldy laughed.
"i'm not a part of this, so technically, i'm a safe spot," will tried negotiating.
"i'm not sure it works like that, smitty. she runs to you, you're on her side," nick shrugged, smirking still.
"get her!" mark yelled as he ran towards the deck with his own water bucket. nick took that as a signal he could dump his water.
samy screamed as will quickly shoved her out of the way and took the hit as two buckets of water drenched him from head to toe. the boys broke out into laughter while samy stared in disbelief that her boyfriend was now dripping wet and she was perfectly dry.
"oh shit. i'm sorry will," the girl couldn't hold her giggles as she covered her mouth.
the blonde shook his hair out like a dog before breaking a tiny smile. "you're taking the hit next time," he mumbled, placing a chaste kiss to her lips.
quinn, jack, and luke had watched the entire interaction from where they sat together at their fire pit. the three of them were laughing watching poor will get soaked for samy.
"he's so whipped if he just took two buckets of water for her," jack mumbled with a smile.
luke and quinn looked his way. it was the first time one of them had ever said something about samy and will to one another since their entire relationship started.
"they're cute. makes me miss being a teenager in love," quinn muttered. "plus, i've never seen her so happy before nor have i seen will so happy either," the oldest hughes added.
their eyes flicked back towards the couple where will was now trying to dry himself off.
"it's a good look for them, isn't it?" luke said after a moment.
"she's happy. like really happy," jack nodded.
"i think he really cares about her. he's definitely sticking around," luke said.
"i mean wasn't he already? he's like family," jack laughed making quinn laugh too.
"i'm just happy she's found someone. i totally saw it coming by the way, so you all owe me still," luke muttered and the brothers rolled their eyes.

What native Gallifreyan species are there?
Gallifrey has a diverse range of fauna, both native and introduced. Despite claims of minimal ecological impact, the installation of the Eye of Harmony and millions of years of Time Lord civilisation have significantly altered Gallifrey's original biosphere.
🦋 Invertebrates
Beatitude Flies: Begin as maggots and pupate into golden-winged nocturnal insects. They use nectar to create helium in their bellies and are attracted to light and decay.
Butterflies: Various species flutter across Gallifrey.
Bees: Essential for pollination.
Gullet Grubs: Likely to live in digestive tracts of larger mammals, or similar environments.
Blossom Thieves: Possibly insects that steal nectar or pollen.
Scrubblers: Likely small, cleaning insects.
Neversuch Beetles, Sandbeetles, Waspbeetles: Various beetles.
Dustworms: Likely live in dry, dusty environments.
Scissors Bugs: Possibly predatory insects with sharp mandibles.
Flutterwings: Gigantic insects (3 meters by 25 meters) that never land. Five races include Wild Endeavor, Mandrigal, Silver-Band, Blue Crystal, and Perdition.
Snails
Water-Sligs: Likely aquatic or semi-aquatic molluscs.
Web-Spinning Insects: Including spiders about an inch long.
Other dangerous invertebrates: There are also nasty creatures that live beneath big stones.
🐟 Marine Life
Singing Yaddlefish: Notable for their song, and they can be eaten.
Kittensharks: Hatch from eggs and presumably grow into Catsharks.
Axolotl Salamanders: Amphibious creatures with regenerative abilities.
🐍 Elapids
Taipan: A venomous snake, 10 metres long.
Venal Snakes: Possibly nest-stealers or highly venomous.
Bat-Snakes: Presumably flying snakes.
Dinosauria: 20-meter-long reptiles resembling brontosaurs with thick chitinous scales and serrated teeth.
🦅 Avians
Owls: Symbol of Rassilon.
Flurry Birds: Likely small, fast-moving birds.
Trunkikes: Game birds whose eggs are often eaten.
Air Diamonds: Fly in the upper atmosphere, possibly crystalline or bioluminescent.
Song Birds: Various species.
Gargantosaurs: Dinosaur-like creatures, twice the size of a hab-bloc, with two legs, vestigial wings (with purple and white feathers), and four eyes.
🦣 Mammals
Plungbolls: Thumbnail-sized furry creatures living in mountains, attach en masse to warm objects.
Taffelshrews: Edible rodent-like mammals.
Fledershrews: Bat-like, mushroom eaters, nearly extinct.
Cobblemice: Mice that sprout wings.
Rovie Mice: Field-dwelling, long-lived if kept safe, sometimes pets. They have short memories.
Moss-Rats: Possibly rodents that live in marshes with moss-like camouflage.
Vex: Burrowing animals.
Gallifreyan Womprats: 1-metre-long rats with fifteen legs.
Pig-Rats: Inhabit the Drylands, presumably combining porcine and rodent traits.
Rabbits
Flubbles: Small six-legged koalas.
Unnamed rounder rabbit-like creatures
Ounce-Apes: Might be tiny monkeys that are particularly agile.
Sealak: Perhaps a kind of seal, often eaten.
Bear-Ass: A donkey-like animal with bear-like qualities.
Horse-Cats: Probably a horse/cat hybrid-like species.
Sagittary: Horse-like creatures.
Elephants
Pig-Bears: Can be trained as pets.
Wolf-like Creatures: With long snouts and black-and-white striped fur, almost as big as adult humanoids.
Broakir: Live in foothills, often hunted for food.
Baanjxx: Arboreal browsers that like to eat hallucinogenic cerub nuts. As a child, the Doctor was kicked by one in the head, apparently.
Cows
Walrus
Gallifreyan Marlot: Purple and unique in all of time and space. Probably a bit cat-like.
House Cats: Revered as symbols of intelligence. Traditionally, Presidents kept them as pets.
🐱 Killer Cats (C.A.T.S)
Killer C.A.T.S: These sapient creatures possess instinctive precognitive powers and cat-like physiology. Known for their lethal gladiatorial contests, they despise Time Lord traditions and live in the Gin-Seng Sector of Southern Gallifrey. Their culture includes mercenaries and oracles; they are telepathic.
🏞️ Ecosystem Preservation
Though Gallifrey's outer ecology has suffered, the Time Lords have used technology to preserve many species. Extinct species have been collected, ensuring none become completely extinct. The more fearsome creatures are contained in the Death Zone, while xeno-zoos hold alien species from other worlds.
🏫 So ...
So there's your whistlestop tour of the species on Gallifrey. One day, I'll try to put these onto a species distribution map. Oh, by Rassilon's Beard, I just gave myself more work.

AU where Izuku has the quirk Deku - or to be specific, a wooden puppet quirk.
Midoriya is born with mutations very similar to Kamui Woods'. He has wooden skin and leafy hair, and his body does actually resemble a doll with joints and everything. However, his Quirk is actually an Emitter Quirk; nobody has realized it yet.
His childhood plays out much like canon, nickname and everything. After all, it's not exactly the most offensive Quirk, seemingly. However, while Bakugou "Insecurities Georg" Katsuki is still as mean as ever, the rest of Aldera are far more fond of Midoriya since, well, he has a Quirk. Especially since Kamui Woods himself would've debuted around the time Midoriya is 5.
When Midoriya is... let's say eleven, late into Elementary School, he stumbles and drops something. Maybe it was a pencil, maybe it was lunch. What's important is that he caught it with a series of strings that manifested from his hands, suspending the thing in midair.
Midoriya thinks that's cool as hell since it's kind of similar to Kamui Woods which means he totally can be a Hero. And, while experimenting with the Quirk around the house, he accidentally snags Inko with it. This is how he discovers that he can manipulate objects attached to his strings. Though, he prefers using this ability on inanimate objects over people.
While Midoriya compares his puppet strings to Arbor, it's actually much closer in function to Blackwhip, being an Emitter Quirk useful for both restraint and mobility.

Trilophosuchus
Happy to say that I wrapped up another deepdive into extinct crocs, this time with Trilophosuchus rackhami.
Not sure if I brought it up last time I talked about Mekosuchus, but Trilophosuchus is a pretty similar animal in many regards, being a dwarf species from the Cenozoic of Australia known from limited remains.
The difference being that Trilophosuchus, though not having hundreds of isolated bones, has 1 really complete skull with comparably minimal damage.
Based on this a lot can be determined already. It was very small (estimates suggest between 70 to 90cm for an adult), its skull was body and robust with big eyes and it had three unique crests that ran along its skulltable. It's in fact so well preserved that scans revealed exceptional detail of the brain shape, more on that later.
Second photo by Jorgo Ristevski
Where things get really interesting is the ecology and lifestyle. I mention it in the Mekosuchus post, but generally, these dwarf mekosuchines are assumed to have been more terrestrial than many of today's crocodiles. Their skulls in particular invite comparisson with today's dwarf crocodiles and dwarf caimans, rainforest dwellers that are not as water bound as the big, semi-aquatic ambush hunters. But Trilophosuchus takes this further, or at least it's thought that it did.
The muscule attachments around the skull for example indicate that Trilophosuchus naturally held its head decently high, which has been compared to the posture taken by modern caimans when basking. Furthermore, the muscles show clear differences in how it must have moved its head when feeding. Modern crocodiles have strong obliquus capitis magnus muscle, which are basically used in order to overcome water resistence when moving their heads side to side. Since this muscle is far less developed in Trilophosuchus, its reasonable to assume it didn't have to put up with water resistance as much. The muscles responsible for maintaining momentum once it starts shaking its head are well developed tho.
The brain is also of interest. The overall shape of the brain resembles that of the famous terrestrial notosuchian Araripesuchus, and the different elements of the brain can be compared to baurusuchids and sphenosuchians in their proportions. And finally, the skull is seemingly filled with air pockets, more than are seen in even todays dwarf crocodiles, though not quite as many as in notosuchians.
Trilophosuchus lived some 20 million years ago in Queensland, which at the time housed a highly diverse crocodile fauna. This included the large and robust Baru (tackling that one soon) which was a semi-aquatic ambush hunter, and the small Mekosuchus. There is still some mystery as to how these two dwarf species, both being relatively terrestrial, could have coexisted, but given we know very little still there is a myriad of possibilities. Images by Willis, Murray and Megirian (1990) and Scanlon (2014)
Something that needs to be pointed out tho, because this is still being believed by some. No, Trilophosuchus was NOT arboreal either. I go into the specifics of that for Mekosuchus on my Mekosuchus post, but the same applies for Trilophosuchus. Sorry, it's a bummer but it needed to be said.
Trilophosuchus definitely had a lot more written on it than many other things I covered before, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be built upon. Here the before and after as well as a link to the finished article.

Lust Or Love - Chapter 1
Other Chapters
Chapter two will be posted in 1 hour :-)
I remember the day he left. He left Boston for Columbus, while I waited back in Ann Arbor. We were headed down two different paths so I don’t know how two souls so different and challengingly different could have ever strived to attach. Him being back to graduate is too much for me, although I didn’t watch him leave the first time, the thought of watching him leave again even if it is just passing by hurts.
Nick was the captain of the hockey team, the popular guy. I was another sorority girl amongst the thousands of them, that didn’t really care to be a part of one. My mother wanted me to be a part of something so that is what I chose. Never did I think a Greek life party would end up breaking my heart so bad.
~October 2021~
The Frat house down the street was throwing a big party and everyone was going. I loved to party but it got exhausting. Tonight was one of those nights that I’d rather just lay in bed but I couldn’t.
“Come on lighten up, it will be fun!” Tori, one of my roommates, tries to perk me up as I finish putting my makeup on.
“I know it will be fun, for everyone else” I say to her, “But I have to study”
“Oh my gosh, you will get into vet school, your marks are fine and your biology test is Tuesday. Tonight is Saturday, which means we party” she says to me, making me chuckle lightly, “if it sucks,” she continues sitting beside me on the bench and taking the lipstick from my hand before leaning into the mirror, “We will leave”. She applies the lipstick then pops her lips, “Plus Amber doesn’t want to go either tonight but I’m making her go too, so you guys can be miserable together!”
She smiles at me and gets up before telling me I have five minutes and leaving my room. I get up and make my way over to the closet and grab a pair of black skinny jeans and a navy bustier top to wear with my white converse. I put them on then walk down the stairs to see Tori, Amber, and Kali all pre-gaming in the kitchen.
“Y/n!” Amber shouts as I reach the bottom step
“I thought she didn’t want to go out?” I say looking at Tori
“I don’t, but this is the only way I will be able to tolerate the night!” she shouts again, “Here! have a shot!” she says sliding a shot glass beside her to the empty seat.
I walked over and sat in the empty seat and took a swig from the glass. I made a face as I set the shot glass back down on the table and the girls all laughed. We pre-gamed for around an hour before we eventually headed out and made our way to the frat party. The house was only a 4 maybe 5 minute walk from our house so we weren’t out in the cold for too long.
When we got to the house it was packed. You literally had to push people out of your way to get through the house. I ended up losing the girls pretty quickly and ended up just trying to find anyone I knew when I noticed Nolan Moyle, a guy in one of my classes this semester, close enough to get to. I peel through the sweaty bodies in the house and make my way over. I usually bump into him at parties and have known him throughout my 4 years at UMich due to partying at the same houses and being in some of the same classes.
“Hey Nolan” I said loud enough so that he can hear me over the music pumping through the house
“Hey!” he smiles widely when he sees me, “What’s up?!”
I stick around with Nolan in the house until I can find my friends. We aren’t super close where we would call each other up to hang out but close enough that we would hang out at parties if we bumped into each other for the whole night and not talk about our classes.
“I’m headed out to the deck out back, wanna come?” he asks me shouting over the music
“Sure!” I say
“Grab my shoulder!” I hold onto his shoulder as he makes his way through the crowd. He is polite in an odd way as he maneuvers through the crowd by pushing through. We eventually make it to the back deck and it is almost just as packed as the inside of the house. Only difference was you didn’t have to push people to get around, you could just squeeze past them. Nolan found some of his friends and made his way over and I followed behind him.
We made it over to some of his friends and I catch one of them staring at me, he gives me a shy smile before looking away. He is cute, I smile to myself and look down at my feet. When I look up again I catch him staring again, this time Nolan notices.
“Nick, Y/n. Y/n, Nick or Blanks, or Cap, you choose” he says and we both look at Nolan, “Well you wouldn’t stop staring at each other waiting for the other to introduce themselves first” Nolan continued before looking back at the group and talking to them. Nick walks over to me and tilts his head pointing it over at the railing of the deck. I follow the motion of his head and walk over and lean my back against it.
“Hey” he smiles leaning on the rail beside me
“Hi” I smile back
“So, how long have you known Moyle?”
“Since freshman year” I tell him and he nods
“You a Senior?”
“Yeah, you?” I say and a light bulb turns on above his head
“Oh yeah, wait I do know you I think. Well know of you” he starts, “You’re dating Kyle, I was wondering where I’ve seen you but yeah, now I know” he says and I give him a toothless puffed lip smile like he hit a sore spot
“I think I’m going to go” I say nodding my head then walk over to Nolan leaving Nick over at the railing.
“Hey Nolan?” I say catching his attention so he turns and looks at me, “I found my friends, I’ll catch you later! Thanks for keeping my company!” I say and he smiles back
“Cya Monday morning!” he says before I disappear into the scrum of people.
As I push through the people I finally find Tori. I wave my hand up to Tori to grab her attention as I walk through the crowd to her. When she sees me she smiles and reaches her hand out over the crowd to grab my hand and pull me through the crowded deck so I was closer to her.
“Where did you go?” she questions me
“Where did I go? Where did you go? You disappeared”
“Oh opps” she says
“Where is Amber and Kali?”
“Amber is wasted in the bathroom and Kali is helping her, I was just helping her but vomit makes me sick, I needed air”
“Is she okay? Which bathroom?”
“I think, and the one on the left as soon as you walk through the door”
I take her directions and walk into the house pushing through the people and make it to the bathroom. I knock and tell them it’s me before opening it and locking it behind me. I walk over to the toilet and rub Amber’s back as she continues to vomit in the toilet.
“How long has she been throwing up?” I ask Kali who is sitting on the other side of Amber
“She was pretty sick around 20 minutes ago then stopped and started again just now when you walked in”
“Wow, nice. I revolt everybody”
“No she is drunk, and Kyle was an asshole” Kali says referring to my ex that broke up with me last week. Oh yeah, maybe I forgot to mention that as another reason why I didn’t want to come tonight and the reason I left the cute boy out on the deck probably wondering where he fucked up.
“I’ll take her home” I tell Kali and she gives me a look, “We will be fine, You need to stay and walk home with Tori so she doesn’t end up at some randoms or bringing a random home or walking home by herself”
“Are you sure? We could always walk back after”
“No I think I’m done partying anyway” “Kyle?”
“Haven’t seen him yet, don’t want to see him. Don’t care really” I tell Kali then lean forward to try to make eye contact with Amber, “Hey Bam, You want to go home?” I ask her and she slowly starts to lift her head out to the toilet bowl. She looks over at me and nods her head slowly and I stand to my feet, “Okay, can you get up on your feet?”
With both hands she grabs both sides of the toilet and tries to push herself up but she is extremely sloppy. I look at Kali as I grab one of Amber’s arms and Kali grabs the other as we both pull her up to her feet.
“Help me walk her to the front, I’ll need help just getting her down the stairs”
“Sure”
Both Kali and I put one of each of her arms over each of our shoulder’s and walk her out of the bathroom. We end up having to go out the backdoor as there was no way we were pushing through all the people in the house to get through to the front. We walk her, but practical drag her out the back door then to the back deck stairs. Kali and I were having huge difficulties trying to get down the stairs, we just weren’t strong enough.
“Fuck, where is Kyle when you need him?” Kali says laughing then immediately stops realizing what she said and stops her movement to look at me apologetically, “Oh my gosh, I’m so s-”
“It’s fine” I say trying to shrug off the shitty feeling inside of me, “Just help me get her to the bottom”
“Yeah, okay” she says with guilt still ringing through her voice.
We continue to struggle our way down the stairs without speaking. Before Kali’s Kyle comment we were at least telling Amber when to step and praising her when she does, but now we are just silent. “Hey Y/n!” I hear from up on the deck as I finally reach the bottom, I look up to see Nick coming down the stairs, “You look like you need help”
“Well I’m going to go now, you sure you are okay?” Kali asks me
“Yes, go have fun, I’ll look after her” I tell her and look at Nick, “I’m good” I smile then turn to basically carry Amber.
Nick stands watching at the bottom of the deck stairs as I try and struggle greatly to get my drunk friend to just put one foot in front of the other, she can walk fine, she is just resistant to leaving the party all of a sudden. I finally give up and look back to see Nick still standing, watching me struggle with a sly smile on his face.
“Fine” I say rolling my eyes, he smiles and makes his way over to us.
“Here, I’ll just carry her, '' he says, bending down and sweeping her off her feet.
“Hey Bam, this is Nick” I say and Amber just nods her head with lazy eyes
“Hey Nick, urrrr cute!” Amber exclaims
“Thanks… Bam?” he says and I nod, “What’s Bam short for?” he asks her as we walk to my place
“Amber” she replies sluggishly
“That’s nice, where’d Bam come from?”
I walk beside them as he continues asking her questions to keep her talking
“My name” she answers, “Amb is a stupid nickname so I moved to b for my exhilarating personality” she says slurring each of her words.
“Exhilarating huh?”
“Yup” she slurs, “You play hockey don’t you?” she asks him bringing her finger up and pressing his cheek
“Yeah, I do. Do you like hockey?” he asks her
“Don’t ask her that” I say, shaking my head laughing already knowing what she is going to say, embarrassing herself. Nick looks at me and laughs at my expression
“Just the boys” she says and Nick laughs
He continues talking with Amber the whole way to the house which wasn’t very much longer, then he helps me put her into her room. I walk down the stairs to grab a glass of water and some Advil then walk back up to Amber’s room setting it on the nightstand for her in the morning. Nick and I walk out of the room and down the stairs. Nick then makes his way to the front door but I stop him before he can leave, “You don’t want to stay for a bit?”
Nick turns and looks at me questionably, “Are you sure?”
“I have a full bottle of Titos and a roof I like to sit on” I say walking into the kitchen and grabbing the bottle out of the cabinet before reappearing in the hall, “You wanna join?” I ask lifting the bottle up slightly and shaking it. Nick nods his head then follows me up the stairs.

can we know anything about Cain? Like face claim, parents etc.? I just love that man
Absolutely, Nonny!!
Cain is a character that is very dear to my heart. I'll take any opportunity to talk about him ♡
As stated in his name, it's pretty common knowledge that he is a "Waters" bastard - born in King's Landing under two parents who never "tied the knot".
His mother is a common woman, who used to sell fish in King's Harbour. She had him at 17 (yikes) and forever refused to mention who fathered her head-strong son.
Her own father was a well respected merchant, who cast away his daughter when gossip that she was with child spread like wildfire. In a moment of pure desperation, Wynne begged her paramour to aid her in raising his child - but he refused, making the crude remark that a whore should have no need for his clean gold; she could easily make her own by offering her body, as she'd done with him before.
For months she starved, until hunger drove her to do exactly what her spurned lover instructed. She started working in a dead-end brothel on the Street of Silk, where she successfully gave birth to Cain, and a monstrous still-born daughter.
She would forever deem the loss of her other child as the Gods' punishment upon her - for living debaucherously, for selling her flesh even well into her pregnancy.
Her screams of anguish were said to scare away all the lordlings that walked inside the pleasure house on that acursed night. Thankfully, it was exactly her cries that drove one of Ser Allyn's knights to breathlessly check inside their nestle. He took pity on the poor woman, and on her golden-haired child.
He struck a deal with the old owner, to take both Wynne and her frail son under his protection.
He made the road back to Stonehelm Keep on foot, opting to give the young mother and her child his white mare to ride atop. Unfortunately, the travel conditions were more than pitiful - and Wynne died of exhaustion and an infected bladder, not three days into their unfortunate trip.
Her fever broke her in the dead of night, and the last words she uttered the knight were 'Lannisport, Jason... my child, my child...'
Cain was quickly given to a milk-maid near Stoney-Sept, and passed around there 'till his 8th nameday.
Once he reached the Swann stronghold, the knight told Ser Allyn of his kind deed - which the hardened Lord immediately called stupid, and "a foolish lapse of judgement, made by an even bigger fool". Yet he deemed it his duty to take care of the boy, since it was one of his men that indirectly felled his mother.
He ensured that there was always someone looking out for him, and that he had enough food to not die of hunger.
Once Cain turned 8, however, news about an ambitious and heroic young lad reached Ser Allyn's ears. He visited the Stoney-Sept, and immediately became impressed with the little boy, who wasted no time to rescue a ginger cat from the jaws of an angered blood-hound.
He took Cain under his protection, and thus ensued the first steps that prepared him for his knighthood.
The bastard was a hard worker, who never complained about having to squire for an upstuck Lord, or having to do all the humiliating jobs that his teacher forced upon him. When he was four and ten, already a sturdy and accomplished young man, he met Lady Tully (a 10 year old girl who readily saw his potential).
She insisted and begged her father to make Cain her sworn protector. Elmo laughed at his daughter's naivité and good heart, telling her that Cain couldn't be her knight, since he wasn't a knight at all.
His Lady's only words were "Well then, that should be easily fixed. He will become one today."
He didn't - but when the seige at Arbor took place, and Cain proved his nerve and loyalty by being the only man who didn't abandon his post, Lord Hunter Redwyne immediately knighted the lass.
He bacame Lady Tully's knight not long after. And the two became attached at the hip - where his Lady would go, Cain was sure to fastly follow.
When she was sent to live in King's Landing on her tenth and third nameday, under the short lived tutelage of Lord Lyman Beesburry, Cain followed her suit.
And when he bumped into Tyland Lannister on one hot summer day, he watched how the man turned as white as a sheet, upon glancing at his patent features.
Eyes of an eery steel-like gray. Hair as yellow as the cusps of dusk.
Cain never felt welcomed in the Red Keep. Thankfully enough, neither did his kind-hearted Lady.
The two returned for the Riverlands in 126 AC - though not before the Bliss of Riverrun met the Prince Jacaerys Velaryon at a lavish nameday ball -, and remained there until close to the outbreak of the Dance.
Anyway, that's a little snippet of his life story - not at all everything that I have in my drafts about him. If you guys would like to know more about THW Universe from before the war (or any info about the OCs that can be found within it), let me know!
Also! Regarding Cain's faceclaim - I always imagined him as a more rugged version of Rob Knighton (@knightonface on Instagram)!
Here are some of his pics that mostly scream "Cain Waters" to me:

WASHINGTON (JTA) — As the High Holidays near, Rabbi Mara Nathan doesn’t expect the recent wave of fake bomb threats directed at synagogues to significantly change the way she and her congregation worship together.
After all, her synagogue will already have its usual, extensive array of security measures in place: from bomb-sniffing dogs and security checks for each attendee to coordination with the local police department and FBI office. But she said emotions were running high as news reports piled up about synagogues evacuated after facing threats, often while livestreaming services.
“I think we’re on high alert,” said Nathan, the senior rabbi at San Antonio’s Temple Beth-El, a Reform congregation, “maybe a little more than usual.”
Nathan’s approach underscores how synagogues across the country have responded to the reports of rising antisemitism in recent years, and how a recent wave of nearly 50 spurious bomb threats is affecting — and not affecting — their procedures. The bomb threats, which have led to the evacuation of congregations from California to Florida, come after many synagogues have adopted a posture of readiness following the 2018 Pittsburgh synagogue shooting and other violent antisemitic incidents.
“Law enforcement and the synagogues have to respond to it because you don’t ever know when it’s actually going to be the real thing,” said Evan Bernstein, the CEO of the Community Security Service, which trains volunteers to patrol their synagogues. “When multiple things like this happen, people become numb and maybe won’t respond in the same way if, God forbid, something is legitimate.”
That reality was laid out at a briefing on Capitol Hill Tuesday focused on securing Jewish institutions during the High Holidays, which begin with Rosh Hashanah on Friday night. The briefing focused on the false bomb threat incidents, which security consultants predicted would continue because they lead to significant disruption with minimal effort.
“The increase in the bomb threats and the swatting incidents are designed to get a law enforcement response,” Michael Masters, CEO of the Secure Community Network, told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, using a term that refers to making prank calls in order to generate a police response. “They’re designed to create fear, they’re designed to create confusion.”
Leaders of the Secure Community Network, which coordinates security for Jewish institutions nationwide, told members of Congress and their staffers at the hearing that the bomb threats have become a popular tool for extremists. SCN and its partner organization, the Jewish Federations of North America, organized the 90-minute briefing.
“They actually targeted a livestreaming of the service so that they can witness the police coming in and disrupting the service during this swatting session,” said Kerry Sleeper, a former FBI assistant director who is now a senior adviser to Masters’ group, referring to a bomb threat during services in July at Beth Israel Congregation in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
(The Ann Arbor synagogue has for years been the target of anti-Israel and antisemitic protesters. Courts have rejected attempts by some of the congregants to stop the protests.)
“Here’s one my fren [sic] did yesterday,” said a message on Telegram, a social platform popular with extremists, which was attached to a video of a rabbi conducting services. “It’s funni [sic] bc when we swat them they have to shut down the synagogue for the day.”
One long-term result extremists are hoping for would be to inhibit Jewish expression, Sleeper said. “The question has to be obviously, do you have the comfort, the security to enter into a house of worship after there’s been a bomb threat or the threat of a shooting?” he said.
Masters said that ahead of the High Holidays, when sanctuaries see their highest attendance of the year, synagogues need to review security procedures in order to avoid panic if a threat is received.
He described methods that could head off panicked reactions during High Holiday services, including making contact with the local police department, reviewing an orderly evacuation plan and ensuring that police have officials in place to report whether an attack is indeed underway.
“In many jurisdictions, law enforcement is very proactive about sending someone to the synagogue, or at least doing a drive-by so … they know whether something or not is happening,” he said. “Having a point of contact at the synagogue that the law enforcement knows who they’re supposed to find, so they can do a coordinated response.”
The briefing also focused on a proposed increase of federal grants to protect synagogues and other religious institutions. The 18-year old program has grown exponentially in recent years as threats against Jewish and other institutions have increased, and there is an effort underway to raise funding from $250 million last year to $360 million.
“It is truly indispensable to the physical security of churches, synagogues, mosques, and all other faith based places of gatherings across the country,” Eric Fingerhut, CEO of the Jewish Federations of North America, said at the briefing. “There’s not a security camera or secure door that isn’t in some way costly and needing the help and support of these resources.”
Fingerhut added that Jewish federations have collectively spent hundreds of millions of dollars to enhance security for local institutions.
Sen. Chris Murphy, the Connecticut Democrat, said the briefing exhibited “the panoply of efforts we need to undertake in order to decrease the risk of physical harm to those who are in Jewish communities, for those who are showing up in synagogues, Jewish day schools.”
Increased preparedness due to the bomb threats is one of a few ways synagogues across the country are girding up ahead of the High Holidays. In New York City, the Community Security Initiative, which helps coordinate security for local institutions, is funding the purchase of one new patrol car each and other resources for four Jewish civilian security patrol groups that operate in heavily Orthodox neighborhoods in Brooklyn, where a rash of street-level incidents have added to safety concerns. Last week, Bernstein’s Community Security Service launched a partnership with the Orthodox Union, an umbrella group with hundreds of member synagogues nationwide.
The bomb threats have reverberated across the country. At the Chicago Loop Synagogue, president Lee Zoldan told JTA that local law enforcement — with whom Zoldan said the synagogue has a “very good relationship” — often keeps a presence in front of the building, which is located in downtown Chicago.
Zoldan said law enforcement officers are aware of the recent wave of bomb threats and that the synagogue has shared its holiday schedule so that police know when people will be in the building. In addition, a few months ago the synagogue purchased a metal detector, and is considering asking worshippers to be screened upon entrance for the High Holidays. Zoldan said the measure was a response to the rise of antisemitism in the United States, rather than any specific threat.
“Anything we can do to enhance security, we are going to do,” she added.

You guys ready for a SYB PROJECT??? Well I was apparently. So the window screen in my husband's room was straight up out, has been since we started renting here. This wasn't a huge problem until we started wanting to open the window and yonder Cat realized he could launch himself into the frame and attempt to jail break onto the grape arbor.
So uh, no opening the window unless we can solve the cat problem.
I honestly thought this project was going to be a lot harder than it was -- emotionally I started this at "well I'll just glue it to the outside of the window frame if I have to I guess" (it would be. On brand for some of the existing repair jobs in this house).
But it turns out to be doable, so doable that they sell a 20$ kit for it. Okay, I'm sold!
The basic principle is the screen is held in place by jamming a vinyl tube called a spline into a groove that sandwiches the chunk of window fabric in place.
I would rate this as "not too bad, just pretty tedious to do it right" . If you've built IKEA furniture and operated a sewing machine you can definitely do this. The closest related project I have also done is stretching canvas.
The steps basically go:
- remove the frame from the window (easy ish since there's no screen in there, so I can't make it worse)
- scrape the old window spline out with a screwdriver and give the frame a little wash
- tape down the frame and cut the screen ~3-4cm bigger than where it will sit in the spline (seam allowance!)
- using a screwdriver and a spline roller (that little pizza roller, it helps press down the spline) attach the screen with allowance to two adjacent sides (forms one corner). Online instructions make it seem like you can just use the spline roller -- I didn't find success with that since over-rolling would fray the screen. What does work is painstakingly starting the splining with a screwdriver and THEN spline rolling it down.
- tape down all of the opposing sides to keep the tension. Tug well against the spline -- ideally this is how the screen is gonna sit.
- pulling up the tape a little bit at a time, spline the other two sides. This is a lot like taking out pins as you sew something. Check the tension periodically.
- rip off all the tape and use a box-cutter to snip off the excess screen. Sooooo satisfying easily the best part of the project.
- re-house the screen. This was the hardest part cause I can't reach through anymore 😭 I actually had to use the fact that we live on a first floor apartment and get up on a ladder to reach the other side. there was one sin hidden here where I wasn't able to get my screwdriver around the edge of the frame and just sort of partially screwed something in. But I think it's pretty secure so that's a sin for the next person to see this project.
If you've read all this, thank you! Happy pride, go forth and do boldly with the thought "I'm gay how hard could it be?"

Teehee. Not me making this blog a month ago and then totally abandoning it only to come back later with a small writing piece. Anyway, here's a snippet about me and A.manda.
Length: 1.4k
The Garden is as it ever was. Rustic dirt paths leading weaving through garden beds and hedges, small alcoves of statuary and fruit trees, arbors laden with heavy roses and other climbing flowers, and the house on the hill absolutely smothered with all sorts of greenery. The fake sun shines down with vague warmth, but Amanda finds herself sighing in relief regardless.
It was a good day, it seems. Or it’s been a stretch of okay days and the Entity is feeling merciful. It’s never a good idea to question why the Entity allows a visit to the Garden. One must simply bask in it while it lasts.
Amanda is especially eager to get deeper into the realm and to who she really wishes to see, but knows that there’s special protocol to follow. The Pig takes just one step onto one of the dirt paths and stops. Then, she stomps on the ground with force a few times.
Hopefully the other is in the system, as they’ve both come to call it. It seems like she is more often that not these days.
A twitch from the innards of some bush with pastel purple flowers. Slowly, a dark green vine twists its way out and into the air like a snake. It waves around idly, feeling for her as it creeps ever forward. Another joining it slithers along the ground towards her foot, finding purchase around Amanda’s ankle and coiling around it to hold her snug. The air-vine creeps ever towards her face, and she grants it the mercy of reaching for it.
The vine tip weaves through her fingers and holds it gently, wriggling around and trying to discern just who it belongs to. Amanda traces it softly with her other hand, causing it to still. Then, she taps. Tap, tap, tippy tap-tap-tap. A secret code for just the two of them.
The reaction is instant. The vine around her ankle snaps away and retreats, the other giving her hand a firm squeeze. Hello, hello! She can almost imagine the cheery voice saying. The vine around her fingers untagles itself and gives a firm point to the house on the hill before returning to the bush where it came.
The Gardener knows who she is and that she’s now on her way up. Amanda smiles ever so slightly beneath her mask and reaches to the bush to break of a quick sprig of whatever this flower is to bring along.
Smells only get sweeter as she gets deeper, nearly noxious when the porch is in sight. Aromatic lilies and roses, other flowers that Amanda has no idea what they’re called. The Gardener has tried to teach her many times, but it always gets pushed to the wayside for more important idea of traps and tactics for Trials. The Gardener never minds, just smiling and huffing fondly.
Amanda climbs the steps to the run-down porch and sees her there. The corpse is sat on the porch swing completely still, slumped against stained cushions and dead to the world. It has a gaping stomach wound and a split head, both overgrown with plant matter that weaves in through ribs and no doubt around the remaining brain left in the skull. It would be a ghastly sight if it wasn’t known that this is someone who’s actually still living.
“Hey,” She calls plainly.
The corpse all of a sudden springs back to life, a deep breath raising its chest and the eyes fluttering open. The good eye looks over to where she idles at the steps before the Gardener’s face stretches into a brilliant smile.
“Hello,” She chimes sweetly, “You got here faster than usual. One moment, please.”
“Of course.”
It’s always fascinating to see the Gardener unwind from the Garden. The plants slowly withdraw from her, leaving her body only with the peonies that have taken residence up in her permanently. One or two stray branches stay attached to her organs, but a guiding hand tugs them away and shoos them back to the rest its comrades. Soon it’s just the Gardener lounged lazily on the swing, stretching the life back into her muscles and yawning.
She finally finishes, rubbing her face and smiling once more.
“Hello, dove,” the Gardener speaks with absolute affection dripping from her voice. “Sorry about that, I was finishing up some planting.”
“No problem. Not really in a rush, anyway.” The Pig is all too willing to take the sweaty mask off in order to reveal her face to her beloved, smiling herself and walking the rest of the way to the swing.
Amanda sits rather ungracefully next to the Gardener, sighing deeply and letting her head fall back. The swing jostles and creaks at such a harsh intrusion, but holds fast for the two of them. She doesn’t worry that it might collapse, the Gardener has assured her that it’s plenty strong despite the run-down look of it.
(“If it can hold Yamaoka-san, I’m sure it’ll hold you just fine.” Amanda had chuckled at the thought of such a large man crammed onto the seat. How the Gardener manages to placate him, she doesn’t know.)
The corpse snuggles up to the Pig’s shoulder, making her throw an arm around the Gardener to pull her close. The two lean on each other and just take a moment to enjoy the peace before even attempting to talk. Amanda, because she cherishes these rare moments, and the Gardener, because she’s still trying to get back into her body after having her roots in the whole realm.
Eventually, though, the Gardener lets her head loll onto Amanda’s shoulder and she murmurs the start of conversation.
“How was your day?”
“Long,” Amanda admits. Trials are never easy, even for the Killers. “But I’m here now. Must have done something right, yeah?”
“Must have. I’ve also been waiting on you, so maybe the Boss picked up on that.”
The Gardener does indeed have a little sway on the Entity, but it’s not very much. Only enough to convince it to keep certain people out and inviting some people in ever so slightly more.
“I missed you,” Amanda admits with a small kiss to the Gardener’s head.
The other hums, content, answering right back, “I missed you too. I’m glad you’re here.”
“You were a bit tight on the ankle, though,” Amanda jokes, nudging her with her shoulder ever so slightly.
“Oh!” The Gardener pulls away with concern in her eyes before apologizing immediately, “I’m so sorry about that. I was expecting someone else, and-”
“I’m kidding,” Amanda laughs. The corpse stares blankly for a moment before sighing eyes and punching her ever so lightly on the thigh and snuggling back up.
“Jerk.”
“It’s what I do.”
Just like that, all is forgiven. Her curiosity is piqued, though, so she can’t help but ask:
“Who were you expecting?”
“I don’t know. Had a case of some minor vandalism a while ago. Nothing major, mind you, but still a pain.”
“Huh. You know who it was?”
“Not for sure, but I have my suspicions. Legion, most likely.”
“You want me to talk to them? Can’t have anyone fuckin’ up my girl’s garden.”
The Gardener giggles. Amanda smiles.
“No, don’t bother. Just kids being kids. I just have to be really careful about knowing who’s coming and going for a while.”
“If you say so. I’m sure I could rough ‘em up real good, though.”
“I bet you could! But they’d also just make fun of you for being so soft on me. I can hear it now; Big, scary Amanda Young being ushy-gushy with the Gardener.”
“Well, if they say that, I’ll just hit them harder. Problem solved.”
“No. No terrorizing the teenagers.”
Something cynical wants to speak up and remind the Gardener that these teenagers are cold-hearted killers just like the rest, but something about the notion of protecting the youth is sweet. Always her little Gardener being the one to look out for those stuck in the Nightmare.
And so, the two of them are content to sit on the porch, gossiping and chatting, hoping by the grace of the Entity that this will be a longer visit. All is well for right now. The sun is fake, but it’s warm enough. The porch swing is rusty and stained, but plenty comfortable to seat them for hours. The Garden is a sweet solace away from it all, and the Gardener its warden. The Gardener, Amanda’s girlfriend and dearest companion in this wretched hellscape. Though the pleasures are fleeting, she’ll cling on to them with every ounce of strength she has.
#selfship#selfshipping#selfship writing#parlor magazines#garden favorite#body horror cw#That last one as a cautionary measure. Should I have tagged it gore? It's not very explicit.

Parthenocissus quinquefolia, commonly known as Virginia creeper, is a deciduous woody vine native to North America
1. **Growth Habit**: Parthenocissus quinquefolia is a vigorous climbing vine that can reach heights of up to 50 feet or more. It attaches itself to surfaces using adhesive pads called holdfasts, which allow it to climb up walls, fences, and trees.
2. **Foliage**: The compound leaves of Parthenocissus quinquefolia consist of five serrated leaflets arranged in a palmate pattern. During the growing season, the foliage is a lush green color, turning to brilliant shades of red, orange, and purple in the fall, making it a striking ornamental plant.
3. **Flowers and Fruits**: Although not particularly showy, Virginia creeper produces small greenish flowers in the spring, followed by clusters of dark blue-black berries in the late summer and fall. The berries are a valuable food source for birds.
4. **Adaptability**: Parthenocissus quinquefolia is adaptable to various soil types and pH levels, thriving in well-drained, moist soils. It prefers full sun to partial shade but can tolerate shade conditions, making it suitable for a range of garden environments.
5. **Maintenance**: Once established, Virginia creeper is relatively low-maintenance. Regular pruning may be necessary to control its growth and prevent it from overtaking structures or neighboring plants. It is also important to keep an eye out for potential pests and diseases, although Parthenocissus quinquefolia is generally resistant to most common issues.
6. **Landscaping Uses**: Virginia creeper is commonly used in landscapes for its ornamental foliage and ability to provide natural coverage for walls, arbors, and trellises. It is often planted as a ground cover or used to add vertical interest to garden designs.
7. **Ecological Value**: Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Parthenocissus quinquefolia contributes to ecological diversity by providing habitat and food for birds and other wildlife. Its dense growth can also help reduce erosion and provide shade in urban and suburban environments.

My Legal Battle with my Family and their Co-horts / Co-conspirators (159):
So, as I mentioned in my last post I NEVER once paid my rent late. However, my mother, Gloria Sumter, DID. Let me begin by explaining the attached images of the ledger from my aparment complex and the rent paid each month:
So, policy at Arbor Gates at Buckhead (where I live), is that rent is due on the 1st of every month and late after the 3rd. This means that if rent is paid on the 4th of the month, it is considered late and an additional late fee is charged.
So after my parents, in conjunction with Dennis Bickham, intentionally making me homeless in February of 2015. Intentionally bringing about a revocation of my parole believing I would commit suicide. Then, after I hadn't committed suicide after being in prison for almost one year and also within two (2) weeks of me filing a lawsuit against them all in federal court, they coordinated with Creighton Hussey to file a fraudulent (not true and completely perjurious) violation of his already fraudulent restraining order to have my parole date taken from me. This extended my sentence by an addtional two (2) years. They did this in retaliation for me filing the lawsuit against them in federal court and because they believed it would elicit my suicide. When I was finally released on May 21st, 2018 they gave me the choice of going to live with Dennis Bickham and his husband Dave Euckland, who had already made me homeless for filing a restraining order against my assailant, Creighton Hussey, and they had also destroyed evidence while I was in prison (including the return of service for the lawsuit I filed against my parents, Leonard and Gloria Sumter, in the amount of $1.5 million dollars), or to be homeless. Why would I go live with these people? That's effing nuts. So I got myself into a homeless shelter / halfway house. Then immediately my parents began sending me money. Then they wanted to help me get an apartment - obviously because they were scared, hoped to trick me into not pressing charges and also to exert control over my living situation ONCE AGAIN. So my mother signed a lease and sent me money to pay the rent every month.
Well, then after I was ordered by a court on December 5th, 2018 to attend a nine (9) month in-patient rehab program, my mother started paying my rent online instead of sending me the money to pay the rent. Remember I was arrested on November 20th and remained in jail until the December 5th hearing where a judge then ordered me to attend the in-patient rehabilitation program.
So the top two images and the bottom right image attached to this post are of the ledger from the rent paid to my apartment complex for my apartment which my mother is the lease holder. I have attached 8-23-18 thru 9-1-20. If you notice (which is all highlighted in green) that the entire time I paid the rent it was NEVER paid late. This is from 8-23-18 through 11-1-2018. You can also see that every month I paid the rent, I paid with a money order. Then (which is all highlighted in yellow) that the entire time my mother paid my rent, it WAS late. This is the period that I was in the court ordered in-patient rehab. And you can see that she paid every month with a credit card as she would pay it online using the RentPayment system.
Then after I was released from the court ordered in-patient rehab my mother started sending me money via Zelle / Venmo for me to pay the rent and you can see starting 2-1-20 I began paying my rent again and by money order. It was NEVER paid late when I was paying it. I paid my rent, with money my mother was sending me, all the way until 9-1-20. This was the last monthy that I paid my rent.
If you remember from my last post (post #158) I showed in the email from my mother, Gloria Sumter, (I also attached to this post a copy of the same email which is the image on the bottom right of this post) how all of the sudden my mother purported that I had ever paid my rent late and that was why she had threatened to make me homeless. That email she sent me on 8-20-20. The last month I paid my rent was the following month which I paid on-time on 9-1-20. Then she decided and demanded that she would begin paying my rent herself via the online RentPayment system. While she did begin paying it on-time, the fact remains that I NEVER once paid it late.
So one has to juxtapose: If Craig Sumter never paid the rent late, and Gloria Sumter threatened to make him homeless for allegedly paying the rent late, then Gloria Sumter began paying the rent herself, and Craig Sumter in fact, had NEVER paid the rent late, then for what reason did Gloria Sumter make this lie up and then insist on paying the rent herself? Simply, for two reasons: (1) Gloria Sumter intended to breach the private agreements she made with Craig Sumter to send him a certain amount of money every month - thereby intending to cause Craig Sumter financial harm and harm to his credit rating and wanted to simultaneously protect her credit and credit rating; (2) Gloria Sumter expected and intended for Craig Sumter to die / to in-fact bring about his death through intentionally elicited seizures, which are deadly.
