A remarkable event of Youth Singing Competition 2024 was jointly organized by Rose Youth Point, ARADO Pakistan and Kechians Language Institute at Rose Youth Point Lyari.

12 participants from different parts of Lyari were showed their singing talent in this grand finale nicely and received appreciation from the audience.

A large number of people from different walks of life were present at the moment and encourrarged the young talent of Lyari

Famous classical Singers Haroon Shaikh, Rafiq OK and Sohail Baloch were the members of jury and according to their decision Abdul Mohiz Memon got 1st position and received prize money of Rs.10000/, Hamza Niaz Stands on 2nd position and received Rs.7000/- and Sultana Bibi stands on 3rd position and received Rs. 5000/-

All participants were also appreciated with Certificates.

Universal Children's Day 2021 at Port Grand Karachi

CHILDREN'S ENVIRONMENTAL RIGHTS; A BETTER FUTURE FOR EVERY CHILD

On the occasion of Universal Children's Day 2021, a grand event was organized by Lyari Girls Cafe at Port Grand Karachi.

Minister Local Government Sindh Mr. Nasir Hussain Shah, Conservator of Forests & Wildlife Department Mr. Javed Mahar were present on the occasion. The children performed various performances including theater and tableau.

Lyari's Girls Cafe and ARADO Pakistan organized Universal Children's Day 2021 with support Port Grand and Terre des Hommes at Port Grand Karachi. More than a thousand people attended the Children's Day celebration.

We took a little step towards a sustainable future! 🌍👧👦

Lyari's Girls Cafe Foundation collaborated with ARADO’s #LocaltoGlobal and #Tdh.

Organized Children's Walk on Environmental Rights to empower the next generation of eco-champions.

Children waiting for their rights had raised banners and placards. Deputy Commissioner South Altaf Hussain Sario participated in the walk held on children's environmental rights. A large number of women including children of Lyari participated in the walk.

🌳 📚 Kids learned about their environmental rights and the role they play in preserving our planet.

🎨 Little artists expressed their love for nature through eco-friendly art projects.

Let's amplify their voices and champion environmental rights for a brighter tomorrow! 🌈💚 Together, we're nurturing a generation that values, protects, and advocates for the planet. 🌱🌏

"Act Now: Protect Our Planet and Become a Champion of Change"

Our youth social media team visited Clifton Urban Forest on World Environment Day.

Met Masood Lohar, prominent environmentalist of Karachi and founder of Clifton Urban Forest.

Efforts are being made to restore the marine ecosystem in the center of the city, a forest along the sea with mangroves and forest plants comprising about 101 species of plants. There are a total of 700,000 trees including 600,000 mangroves.

His vision was how to improve the air quality of the cities of Pakistan.

The biggest change, they didn't realize how much biodiversity has built up here.

The second important thing is that after this urban forest, an environment has been created and the awareness has been created that numerous urban forests are being created in Pakistan.

#GAM2021, it’s even more special because of the Lyari’s Girls Cafe's youth and children’s feeling and understanding. A clean ocean is the best volunteerism we could give ourselves and other citizens.

To do our bit on this day, Youth from Lyari along with children from Maripur decided to visit the Hawksbay beach Karachi to understand how we could also contribute. LGC youth has been working relentlessly to keep our city clean.

LGC regularly conducts environmental awareness which we all can volunteer in!! Let’s all pledge together to save this beautiful city, country and planet.
