Have you ever watched the cw show "superman and lois"? I'm only a casual superhero enjoyer in general but I saw the show in the recommended shows page one time and thought "why not", and I ended up liking it a lot. I thought the two leads were pretty good

i know of it but i have never seen it. ive heard its okay. nothing terrible. yeah, ive heard the leads do a good job. ive never really made the time to watch.

No podcast de onde veio as citações da Lídia Franco em relação ao Adam Driver, na versão actual ela não fala nada sobre ele. Não estou a tentar defender o gajo, queria ouvir a história no contexto e segui o link que estava nas notícias publicadas, ela fala de fazer o filme e diz que até acha que as cenas dela foram cortadas. Depois há um corte no áudio (~47 min) e mudam de assunto. É estranho porque todas as notícias indicam o podcast como fonte, mas o podcast agora não tem referências a isso e parece ter sido editado

todas as notícias brasileiras literalmente eu publiquei uma fonte portuguesa que refere a rádio portuguesa, quando foi pro ar e quem a entrevistou

eu fico sem palavras para explicar que as coisas não surgem do nada, isto não apareceu num buraco do reddit, foi a própria Lídia Franco que foi entrevistada por duas pessoas numa estação de rádio em Portugal, e os jornais publiciatarm citando essa entrevista. Nem sei de que raio de podcast estão a falar. As citações da Lídia Franco vieram da rádio.

Russian artists simply cannnot win for some people, either they're silent=complicit or they're outspoken=not good enough/not real

Love how The X Files fans forget every criticism, every complaint, every frustration with the show, the writers, the cast, the moment there's a new picture of Gillian and David. For a few moments It is the best thing ever created and It has never done anything wrong

I can’t quite tell whether you’re being cynical or sentimental about this, heh. It’s true though — it can be fun to spiral a bit (in a perhaps slightly affectionately performative way) when we see our flagship dumbasses in a mysterious encounter together somewhere with a grey velvet curtain and a dog and no makeup or hair people (seriously where are they, a TJ Maxx fitting room?). It’s ok to be enthusiastic about or tickled by something in a moment in time without it constituting an endorsement of everything that’s ever come before. It’s a nice, and somewhat nostalgic, feeling, for me at least. 

I would venture to suspect that they may feel much the same way. I hope they had a nice and happy and drama-free visit, and I’m glad Gillian was able to take some time out from painting Campbell’s soup cans and silkscreening Marilyn Monroe *cough*

So I actually watched "livet är en schlager" with the hebrew subtitles auto translated to english, and it was good enough but you know, sometimes things get lost on translation, especially when done by bots and algorithms. I was confused by the gender identity of her sibling, and I guess it doesn't really matter in the end, but I thought it had to do with the translation but maybe it isn't so clear either in the og script? Shame about the writer if he's transphobic, I looked him up and I wasn't expecting him to be the guy lynda woodruff makes fun of in one of the ESC sketches

he is a very well known and loved writer and comedian, and a gay man himself, one of the earliest ones to come out publicly. but he still has that old view of trans women with him, seeing them as kinda the same as drag queens. he uses the t-slur a lot, not in an actively degrading way but just in a "we've always said that" way. i could excuse that since he's old, but i also feel like he's had so many chances to learn not to say it, and ignored it. so.. yea

and yeah in the og script candy darling is consistently referred to as mona's brother. i learned it years later from a trans woman on twitter that she's actually supposed to be a woman. can't remember where she got it from but since they corrected it in the stage play later i guess she was right.

That is precisely why I refuse to acknowledge that “the military is only doing their job” or any shitty falacy. 

Dozens of black policemen have quit their jobs already. They asked their precincts to take the knee, and they were denied that chance. They said they wanted to stand with their brothers and sisters, and they were threatened with being fired. So they quit.

In our country, it was the military who directly disobeyed the State and led the revolution.

You always have a choice. Fucking God could descend from the skies and tell you to do it. You have a moral obligation to choose life. Our military once said no. They told the authority to go shove it in their ass. You have the choice to deny this. I’m sorry but “just following orders” is exactly what most blind dumbasses use to defend fascism

Hovi Star claimed he was hacked a few weeks ago, did you see that? Maybe someone *is* going around hacking eurovision artists, maybe they were just really bored during quarantine. I'm inclined to believe Suzy because that comment seemed very random and rude, and that doesn't seem like her. I definitely don't buy that when she heard the song she thought it was really good though, which is what she says in the post explaining the hacking

Yep, I remember that! And what a pity, because I sort of agreed with Hovi/the hacker, I thought they had a point. Ops.

And yeah, Suzy always seemed so nice and that comment looked so out of character but oh well, nothing about Eurovision surprises me anymore, I guess. Someone suggested she might have confused her accounts and used her professional one instead of her private one to write that post but somehow I doubt that. And lmao @ her saying the song was really good, maybe that was a second hacker :°D

At this point I really hope it’s a very bored person who for some reason hates Hovi and Suzy (and Sandro, apparently), but I guess will have to wait and see if it happens again :/
