Scotty is such a cutie and a useless lesbian I love the way you portray her devil fruit. There is so much that can go wrong with such a fruit but youmagnaged to pull it off perfecrly. I think her relationship with the other whitebeard pirates/ ocs is so cute and how she’s sort of the mother but not really at the same time >.

When or if I started shipping it: This is actually a bit hard for me to pinpoint! When Scotkane first came around it was just sort of a crackship joke thing Jeidy and I had going, and then at some point people started shipping it, and then Jeidy shipped it, and then I ended up shipping it too LOL I was iffy about the ship at first since I felt like it went against Akane’s sexuality, but honestly, there are exceptions to everything and in this case Scotty was an exception to Akane’s sexuality.

My thoughts: Well I said my thoughts on Akane’s sexuality above so I guess I’ll just talk about the ship in general? I definitely like the dynamic between Akane and Scotty. Something I really value in ships is that the two characters are able to act like good friends and even have a lot of brotp aspects to them to go along with any romantic development. My biggest otps have this comfortable/brotp part to their relationship, and I really see that in Scotkane. They can act like total asses to each other, and I like that a lot.

What makes me happy about them: RED AND BLUE, PIRATE GIRLS, BADASS LADIES, ACT LIKE ASSES BUT ACTUALLY SENSITIVE AND EMOTIONAL, EY SCOTTY MATE

What makes me sad about them: They won’t admit they like each other, and with the way they both act, they never will unless some outside force pushes them to it. What can I say? They���re both stubborn.
