Dive Back In | Aquatina

Aquata was... honestly not thrilled to be back in Swynlake. She loved her hometown, sure, and missed everyone, but there had been so much chaos in her family right before she left that Aquata just didn’t want to deal with. That was the great thing about swim camp. For four beautiful weeks, you didn’t have to answer your phone or deal with whining teenagers or worry about stupid petitions. You just swam and people liked you because of it.

So when Attina asked if she needed help unpacking, Aquata almost said no. And then she realized that she probably would never get her stuff unpacked unless someone made her. And that it was probably the right thing to do. And she had kind of missed Attina.

Come over whenever, she texted Attina, pulling some hummus and chips out of the fridge to snack on while she waited.
