New OC! Based on an idea I had and meet Aqua-Jet, the Razor!
She's a blacktip reef shark and is a loner. Feared by many in the ocean, she ventured out of the open waters and left for a life on dry land.

POKEMON
Tanjiro Kamado - Part 1
Being a Demon Slayer wasn't easy for him, especially after he lost his family due to a demon attack and his younger sister Nezuko became a demon. But he decided not to give up and his goal to find a cure for her sister and defeating the king of demons.
After meeting a strange but interesting person named Natsuki and she has the ability to command strange looking animals/creatures and finding out that she is from another world, she decided to help him and stay by his side, learning later on that these creatures are called Pokèmon and the many adventures about his new friend's world.
During the training for the war against Muzan, Tanjiro and his friends were teleported to another world and they meet Natsuki. Since Tanjiro and his friends are stressed due to the war, they decided to settle down and started their new adventure in the Pokèmon world along with their Pokèmon Trainer friend.
POKEMON
Decidueye (Husui) - Male - Grass/Fighting Type
Decidueye, let's do our best to protect everyone!
First Pokèmon, his Ace. He captured him while time traveling with Celebi
As a Rowlet, Decidueye was the older of his family, but some Pokèmon hunters captured his family and Decidueye was the only one who escpaed from them
During his years of being alone, he started to train in order to become stronger
When Tanjiro asked to Natsuki about Decidueye, he answered him that Decidueye's legs are extremely powerful that it can knock trees down and shatter boulders with the power of its kicks (Leaving all the Kamaboko Squad and Hashiras very impressed)
Decidueye sees Tanjiro in himself and decided to become his partner after seeing him protect him from a pack of Aradios
Tanjiro sees Decidueye not as his Pokèmon partner, but a member of his family and he wants to see his friend be happy and safe
He's strong and smart, but when Nezuko pets his feathers he would blushed for emberassed (Zenitsu would laughed behind on his back until he received a smack on the back of his head)
Tanjiro and Decidueye do almost everything together, especially training and eating (ramen and tempura are their favorites)
Decidueye hates injustices and later demons (except Nezuko)
POKEBALL: Ultra Ball
STRUMENT: Ultra stone (Ultra Decidueye)
ABILITY: Scrappy (Enables moves to hit Ghost-type foes)
NATURE: Adamant
MOVES: Aerial Ace, Sword Dance, Sucker punch, Triple Arrow, Leaf Storm, Aura Sphere
Samurott - Male - Water Type
Samurott, prepare the swords!
Second starter Pokémon. He captured him while time traveling with Celebi, but he didn't evolved in Hisuian form, as Tanjiro and his friends go back in present time
He met him when he was a Dewott as he tried very hard to beat another Dewott
As Dewott, Samurott is a real proud Pokémon who took his job a the "Little disciple of the Water" very serious
Before being catched, Dewott always follows Tanjiro in order to challenge him against Decidueye
After being defeated many times, Dewott was upset, but Tanjiro proposed to him to join his team, which made the Discipline Pokémon very happy
He evolved in Samurott when he tried to learn Sacred Sword like his father (who knows who he is 😏)
Samurott has a friendly rivalry with Decidueye, he sees as his rival, but also a friend
Not only he's proud, but he's also impulsive and brave. But he's very kind and protective
Tanjiro has often problems with Samurott, especially when it comes to battles, but he knows that Samurott always follows his orders
Even if he won't to admit, Samurott is very fond of Tanjiro and Nezuko
POKEBALL: Sub Ball
STRUMENT: Mystic Water
ABILITY: Shell Armor (Blocks critical hits)
NATURE: Adamant
MOVES: Razor Shell, Aqua Jet, Ice Beam, Sword Dance, Hydro Pump, Sacred Sword
Rampardos - Male - Rock Type
So hard... like a boulder! URGH!
He captured him when it was a Cranidos after being revived by a fossil. He captured him after coming back to the present day with Celebi
As a Cranidos, Rampardos was very stubborn and very energetic
He liked heabutting everything and everyone
When the Head Butt Pokémon was crossing the line, Tanjiro decided to step in, headbutting the Pokèmon. As the result, only Tanjiro fell unconscious
After regained consciouns, Cranidos approached the boy and began to nuzzle his chest, asking to be his trainer which he accepted, surprising everyone
He evolved in Rampardos during the battle against Steelix
He still headbutt, but only against those who harmed his friends
One time Inosuke tried to beat the Head Butt Pokémon, only to be crashed into a rock wall after receiving a tail kick from the Pokémon (Luckily he wasn't in any danger after receiving treatment from Nurse Joy)
Rampardos likes to carry his friends on his back
POKEBALL: Safari Ball
STRUMENT: Choice Scarf
ABILITY: Mold Breaker (Moves can be used regardless of abilities)
NATURE: Jolly
MOVES: Headbutt, Zen Headbutt, Crunch, Sandstorm, Stone Edge, Earthquake
Corviknight - Male - Flying/Steel Type
What a remarkable crow~
He captured it when Tanjiro was in Galar and found Corviknight nearly injured by a wild Pokémon
At first Corviknight didn't want the boy's help, but after few days the Pokèmon decided to trust him
The Raven Pokémon decided to join the team after a battle against Tanjiro and his team to see if he is worth to be his trainer
Unlike the crow from Tanjiro's world, Corviknight is not very talkative, he is very calm and patient
He dislikes Ramparados' antiques and whenever the Head Butt Pokémon starts to be wild, the Raven Pokémon would always put an end by battling against him
Corviknight is able to transport the Kamaboko Squad, even though at the beginning he didn't want to beacuse of Inosuke and Zenitsu
Corviknight is very careful and is very aware of dangers
He likes to carry Tanjiro on his back in case he is exhausted from travel and/or a fight
POKEBALL: Velox Ball
STRUMENT: Leftovers
ABILITY: Pressure (Raises foe's PP usage)
NATURE: Impish
MOVES: Steel Wing, Drill Peck, Iron Defense, Brave Bird, Roost
Volcarona - Male - Fire/Bug Type
This Pokémon represents the sun?!
Tanjiro got Volcarono when he was an Egg. He received it as a present from Natsuki
As Larvesta, Volcarona thought that Tanjiro was his father and he would always snuzzle him and eat with him along with Decidueye
Volcarona sees Decidueye as his older brother
When he was Larvesta, Volcarona didn't fight very much, but once he learned Flamethrower he started to trained to become powerful like Decidueye and his trainer
He evolved in Volcarona when he saved Tanjiro and Decidueye from Pokémon hunters
He is brave and strong, but a real soft and goofball when it comes to his trainer
"Do you want to know something Tanjiro? Volcarona was considered a Pokémon that was born from the Sun?" "REALLY?!"
From that day, Tanjiro had always believed that he and the Sun Pokémon were destineted to meet
Volcarona get along very well with Kyojuro, Mitsuri, Shinobu and Giyuu, but he hates Sanemi and Inosuke (poor them 😅)
POKEBALL: Premier Ball
STRUMENT: Super Stone (Super Volcarona)
ABILITY: Flame Body (Burns the foe on contact)
NATURE: Modest
MOVES: Flamethrower, Sunny Day, Hidden Power [Water],Quiver Dance, Bug Buzz, Fiery Dance
Slurpuff - Female - Fairy Type
You have a great sense of smell, Slurpuff 😄
Tanjiro met Slurpuff during a festival, more specifically a Food Festival
Slurpuff was Tanjiro's partner during the festival and soon they two get along very well
"Wait... Slurpuff can smell everything even from a mile from here? Is it possible for her to smell even demons?"
Who knows, it was never proved... until Slurpuff smelled a demon from Tanjiro's world, and she was able to defeat it
Tanjiro decided to let Slurpuff join his team
Since she likes to eat, she would often eat her friends' food, until she would receive a scold from her trainer
Slurpuff has once eaten Inosuke and Zenitsu's food. The result? They chased her
Despite her love for food, she is very generous and she is willing to give her food to others
Mitsuri and Nezuko love Slurpuff
She can be lazy, but Slurpuff is very energetic when it comes to battle
POKEBALL: Heal Ball
STRUMENT: Leftovers
ABILITY: Sweet Veil (Burns the foe on contact)
NATURE: Naive

I beat Pokemon Brilliant Diamond! I borrowed it from a library. Before then, I played it using a profile on a digital copy of someone else's Switch. I felt my plan to borrow a physical copy from my library was convoluted.
My team is under the cut:
First was Goku, the Infernape I started with. His Nature is Quirky (one of the neutral natures), which also means that he doesn't have a favorite or disliked flavor of Poffin. His characteristic is that he's capable of taking hits, meaning that his highest IV is in physical Defense and that it's 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, or 31. His final moveset is Flame Wheel, Power-Up Punch, Flamethrower, and Taunt. I did nothing with contests. All of my team members have at least two ribbons, those being the Sinnoh Champion Ribbon and the Effort Ribbon since I maxed out their EVs. Since he's not from Pokemon Home, he has Blaze as his ability.
Second was Manaphy, which I got from the Manaphy egg event on that other person's Switch. Its Nature is Serious (another neutral nature). The egg claims to have come from "a lovely place" on December 30th of 2021, the same day the egg hatched in Floaroma Town. Its characteristic is that it's alert to sounds, meaning that its highest IV is in Speed and it's 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, or 31. Its final moveset is Tail Glow, Scald, Charm, and Water Pulse. Being a Manaphy, its ability is Hydration.
Since I connected Brilliant Diamond to Pokemon Home, I got Hidden Ability Sinnoh starters. Since I already had a Chimchar, I just used Piplup and Turtwig, both of whom are fully evolved by now. Both of them also have the Classic Ribbon in addition to the Sinnoh Champion and Effort Ribbons, the former of which prevents them from being traded over the GTS or Wonder Trade.
My Torterra is named Discworld. His summary screen claims he traveled across space and time to join me from Pokemon Home, where he met his original trainer (who I also named "Duscara" like the trainer in Brilliant Diamond) in a fateful encounter. His Nature is Adamant, which buffs physical Attack but lowers Special Attack (and it also makes his favorite flavor Spicy and his disliked flavor Dry). His characteristic is that he likes to thrash about, meaning that his highest IV is in physical attack and that it's 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, or 31. His final moveset is Razor Leaf, Curse, Crunch, and Earthquake. The Hidden Ability of at least Torterra is Shell Armor, which renders him immune to critical hits.
My Empoleon is named Bonaparte , but I accidentally added a space when I was typing it on my phone. It took me too long to realize that, but I'm keeping it because it's funny. His nature is Modest, which raises his Special Attack but lowers his physical Attack. That nature also makes his favorite flavor Dry and makes him dislike Spicy food. His origin is the same as that of Discworld. His characteristic is that he's mischievous, meaning that his highest IV is in Special Attack and that it's 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, or 31. His final moveset is Flash Cannon, Ice Beam, Brine, and Aqua Jet.
From that same person, I got the Riolu and Happiny eggs, so now I have a Lucario and a Blissey.
The Lucario is named HerlockBones (a combination of Herlock Sholmes from Ace Attorney and Sherlock Bones from Wizard101). I wanted a name that had to do with dogs, okay? Anyway, his nature is Adamant, which I won't repeat listing the effects of. He's also mischievous. The egg was traded to me on June 16th, 2023 and I hatched him in the Grand Underground. His final moveset is Shadow Claw, Swords Dance, Aura Sphere, and Bone Rush, the latter of which was the final move I used on Cynthia's final Pokemon (her Garchomp) after I stalled it and her Milotic out. His ability is Inner Focus, which renders him immune to flinching.
The Blissey is named Gordo after Gordo Slimes from Slime Rancher. She has a Bold nature, which raises her physical Defense at the cost of her Physical Attack (though both of those are bad for Blissey) and makes her favorite flavor Sour and her disliked flavor Spicy. I received her egg the same day as the Riolu egg and she hatched in Eterna City on Juneteenth 2023. Her characteristic is that she's highly curious, meaning that her highest IV is in Special Attack and that it's 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30. Her ability is Serene Grace, which makes additional effects of attacks more likely. Her final moveset is Minimize, Covet, Dazzling Gleam, and Fling because the strategy I had planned her to use on the Elite Four was steal their items and fling them back at them... especially when I realized that I couldn't keep anything I stole. The plan did not work even though I beat the Elite Four and Cynthia on my first try.

Pearl! Road to Veilstone
May the 2nd
I have been very busy so I have chosen today to race through to the next two gyms. First up I have to face Jupiter.
This fight is likely to be a pain. I have no perfect counters here so lets see what happens.
I reach the top of eterna headquarters and clearly I have to start with Luxio. A single spark is enough to take out Zubat before disaster strikes. In comes Skuntank. I assume I can take a few hits and get some chip damage... 'fraid not. A critical hit nighslash takes me out, I lose Luxio far too early into the run. It isnt the worst loss but it will make Wake and Fantina that little bit tougher. I end up doing far too many switches chipping away at the skuntank until it is finally taken down by a stomp from ponyta. This was a dangerously tough battle. I need to make sure I have proper counters in the future.
Next I head down the cycle road and head beneath it to catch a new pokemon. I manage to catch a Bronzor!!! I was initially tempted to use Bronzor but its low attacking stats just make it so difficult to use. So I continue on to heart home the location of the Barry fight.
I am a little unprepared for this I am hoping my three will do fine against his 4. He starts with Starly I start with ponyta. A few stomps later and I take it out. Double team is a pain though so I do take a little damage. Next in is Buizel, I switch to atlas (and take a bleeding pursuit!) and begin setting up curses. After about two I realise I need to start attacking, I razor leaf the buizel which brings in monferno. Atlas can't take a flame wheel so I switch to buizel and chip away at it with a mix of watergun and aqua jet. Now all three are pretty low and last in is Roselia. I have no choice to switch back into ponyta. Fortunately Ember manages to 2HKO as mega drain does minimal damage and it wastes a turn on toxic spikes. Overall another rough battle.
Clearly I need some new team members. There is only one that I currently have my eye on currently. Misdreavus! After going back to the old chataeu again to get a gastly. I race to the lost tower to get the misdreavus. I name him warlock and add him to the team.
With a great ability allowing a second immunity, being a speedy special attacker with a great tm based move pool I feel pretty good. It's annoying it doesnt learn as many cool moves as honchkrow but I see him being much more useful.
With that I train against as many of the trainers as possible heading to and beyond veilstone. I also catch an unown and a sudowoodo along the way that may be needed for the party at some point. But so far so good.
Badges won: 58
Pokemn used: 131
Pokemon Lost: 30 (RIP Luxio)

Back in October 2020, my good friend @tikki-tok (i.e @tikki-makes-art ) decided to start a Platinum playthrough together! We got into the Hall of Frame on March 12th, 2021, and after exploring some of the post game, we decided to follow my long standing tradition of drawing my team after beating a pokemon game, by collaborating on the art piece together. I did the sketch, Tikki did the lineart, I did the coloring, and then Tikki finished it off with the background and lighting effects!
We had tons of fun playing the game and coming up with this drawing, so now without further ado, some team info and playthrough commentary under the cut!
Team Tikki, in the order they were caught (Name, Species, Sex, Moveset):
“Paprika”, Infernape, ♀, Close Combat - Mach Punch - Fire Blast - Grass Knot
“Freya”, Staraptor, ♀, Close Combat - Return - Roost - Fly
“Korrina”, Floatzel, ♀, Aqua Jet - Crunch - Iron Tail - Waterfall
“Malibu”, Garchomp, ♂, Dragon Claw - Rock Slide - Earthquake - Crunch
“Skadi”, Glaceon, ♀, Shadow Ball - Ice Shard - Hail - Blizzard
“Leoru”, Lucario, ♂, Aura Sphere - Stone Edge - Dragon Pulse - Drain Punch
Team Nelvana, in the order they were caught (Name, Species, Sex, Moveset):
“Zest”, Torterra, ♂, Curse - Rock Slide - Earthquake - Razor Leaf
“Xena”, Luxray, ♀, Return - Crunch - Iron Tail - Spark
“Bridget”, Floatzel, ♀, Ice Fang - Waterfall - Strength - Crunch
“Fothe”, Drifblim, ♀, Shadow Ball - Fly - Psychic - Minimize
“Tottle”, Lopunny, ♀, Return - Jump Kick - Quick Attack - Bounce
“Tempest”, Glaceon, ♂, Blizzard - Hail - Shadow Ball - Quick Attack
General Playthrough Notes:
We played every Tuesday evening until we beat the game and explored as much as the post game as we could (I’ll get back to that in a moment) Which for me brings us to the in-game time of nearly 39 hours. I believe that Tikki’s in-game time was about ten hours more than mine because she spent a lot of time, among other things, actually doing honey tree shenanigans and catching extra pokemon (which had to be trained up).
Speaking of, the final team they used for the Elite Four was not all the pokemon used by Tikki during the playthrough! It was just the team that he felt was best suited for tackling the league with. Some other honorable mentions of teammates for her are: “Syrup” the Bibarel, “Titanium” the Heracross, “Majesty” the Vespiquen, and “Lancer” the Roselia.
Actually funny story, while Tikki was off using several pokemon at once and just switching the roster every now and again, I sat with a party of five for most of the game! I told myself I’d only use glaceon if I didn’t have a full team by then, because I love glaceon but you can only get it by the seventh gym, which in most instances would be way too late in the game to be adding new team members, but for me? I never found a different pokemon I wanted to round the team out, so Tempest got to come along after all!
Okay back to the post game, turns out Platinum’s post game is really weird?? You have to fill out the regional dex to access certain bits, which for a game that just seeing each pokemon fills out the dex slot, is reasonable, except that manaphy is part of that dex and you cannot see a manaphy in Platinum without trading or having Pokemon Rangers. Unless we were both missing something, we were forced to miss out on some of the cool bits of that whole northern island of Sinnoh.
When we fought the E4, we had trained both our teams up to at least level 45 (though half my team was at least level 50), which is still quite a bit low for Cynthia, but we made it work.
Tikki, however, tried going through the game without using healing items, and this extended to the E4. The E4 was so difficult for her with that rule that they had to reload the save and ditch the rule last minute.
Everyone in Sinnoh has ADHD. Sorry we don’t make the rules.
Because I was playing on an emulator and sometimes experienced lag, and Tikki was playing on an actual DS but sometimes knocked the cartridge out of place and had to reload saves, we started making the semi-joking headcanon that we were connected to space/Palkia and time/Dialga respectively, which then escalated to our rivals being connected to Arceus and Giratina.
Speaking of, because I was playing the female trainer and Tikki chose the male trainer, our Professor’s assistant rivals were swapped, so to make things easier in conversation, we started calling Lucas/Dawn “Sapling” instead.
Also! We came up with the headcanon that the in-game mother character, Johanna, kinda looks after trainers who are away from home and helps support them on their journey. Since she also gives you the costume outfits and I am not a fan of dresses but Tikki liked how the dress looked, we like to imagine that she meant to give me the suit and them the dress but accidentally gave me the dress and them the suit, so we just swapped.
Why were there so many npcs that talked about being starving while standing next to berry trees? Is this a Sinnoh thing? Why is no one eating?
The seventh gym was really funny because I just swept with Zest using earthquake, and due to a flinch on the steelix with the kings rock, I never saw a single one of the gym leader’s attacks. I finished it so fast, in fact, that Tikki hadn’t even started, so I just said “I’d give you advice on how to beat the gym but I didn’t even see what it had to offer”
All in all, we both had a really fun time and I would highly recommend the Platinum experience! The AI is the best I think it ever has been for pokemon so it even poses a good enough challenge on top of just being a really fun time.

When I look at Nessa's Pokemon I see her style as beginning with speed and agility. Her first two pokemon, Goldeen and Arrokuda, are fish types that I see as moving swiftly under the water to avoid opponents attacks and then strike when they're off balance. Especially since they have moves like Agility and Aqua Jet which focus on moving fast and striking quickly, plus all her pokemon have Swift Swim as their ability, further making me think she'd focus on speed and agility. Of course, her Dreadnaw is a different story. I think that pokemon would use a defensive strategy, tanking attacks with its hard shell and then striking with powerful Bite,Headbutt, and razor shell attacks as a way of surprising her opponents by using a different kind of strategy and keeping them on their toes.
Hi there l-egionaire! I 1000% agree with your analysis on Nessa’s style being more speedy but ending with some heavy defensive pressure in Dreadnaw. When you think about it makes sense when you consider her ranking within the major gym leaders. A speedy style with a defensive backbone would be a good way to overcome her type disadvantage to Milo.
And like you said it provides an interesting challenge in-universe for trainers as they are expecting a swift, but fragile force all the way through, so Dreadnaw being more defensive but still using strong attacks could catch a cocky trainer off guard. I think she serves as a reminder to not expect the same strategy from a trainer and to adapt.
But also I just want to point out how I love how Nessa’s team aesthetically isn’t the traditional beautiful/feminine water type Pokemon many would assume a model would have. Although I think she could’ve had a Milotic or Primarina (both beautiful and very strong water types that show you don’t have to choose between beauty and strength), overall I really liked how they weren’t afraid to give her an ace in Dreadnaw or let her use Pokemon like Golisopod or Toxapex in the Galarian Star Tournament.

Misaki was exhausted; she had taken down quite a few grunts so far. She sat down for a moment to use some potions on her exhausted Pokémon. She jumped as a blast suddenly came her way only to be swiped away by a Delphox that wasn’t her own.
“You alright Misaki? You can’t let your guard down here.”, Esuka said appearing.
“Thanks.”, Misaki replied, still breathing a bit heavily.
“Where did Sendou and Katsuragi go off to?”, Esuka asked.
“I told them to go to the gym. After they beat Gouki and return him to normal we’ll have some more help.”, Misaki explained.
“I see. Though, fighting all these opponents by yourself is a bit reckless.”, Esuka replied.
“I can take them. I’m not a little kid anymore.”, Misaki replied.
“Hehe! I guess not you’ve really grown since last time I saw you. Oh, how time flies.”, Esuka said.
A blast hit Esuka’s way but was intercepted by a shadow ball from Misaki’s Gardevior, Sakuya.
“And you were talking to me about letting my guard down.”, Misaki replied.
“Touché.”, Esuka replied.
With Kai and Miwa…
They had arrived at the building and were currently going through it.
“Overlord use flamethrower!”, Kai ordered.
“Dauntless use hyper beam!”, Miwa ordered.
Their steeds shot their respective attacks at the grunts below them with the rest of their Pokémon dealing with the stragglers.
“We’re getting close.”, Kai said.
“Shouldn’t we have waited for the others before going to the boss?”, Miwa questioned.
“They’ll just get in my way.”, Kai replied.
“You are so full of it.”, Miwa laughed.
“I’ll be the one to defeat Ren! Aichi doesn’t need to get involved in this. This is my fight.”, Kai thought.
They stopped in front of a door. Kai opened it seeing Ren and his cohorts inside. Ren was smirking as he watched the screen before turning his attention to Kai.
“Kai, I see you’ve finally come to face me.”, Ren said.
“I’m going to beat you Ren and turn you back to the way you used to be!”, Kai replied as Miwa gasped in surprise.
“How do you two know each other?”, Miwa asked.
“Oh, me and Kai go way back. Right Kai?”, Ren replied as Kai glared at him.
The blue haired girl got in front of Ren.
“You don’t need to waste your time on him Master Ren. I your assassin can deal with him.”, the girl said.
“It’s fine, Asuka. Besides I have been wanting to finally show Kai just how powerful I have become. What I need you and Testu to do is to bring Aichi to me. I have a feeling that worthless pirate won’t be able to get the job done.”, Ren replied.
“Yes! I won’t fail you.”, Asuka replied, bowing to Ren.
“What do you want with Aichi!?”, Kai growled.
“Heh! That should be obvious Kai. You know why I want him. Because, he has the same powers I do and with him at our side Team Asteroid will become unstoppable.”, Ren revealed.
“I won’t let that happen!”, Kai replied, angrily.
With Aichi and Kamui…
“Go, Frank! Shade! Nightmist!” ,Gouki said, throwing out a Feraligatr, Golisopod, and Floatzel.
Aichi just smirked, not seeming very threatened.
“Ahmes use solar blade. Wingal use crush claw. Llew use first impression. Gancelot use aura sphere.”, Aichi calmly commanded.
His Pokémon sweated nervously a bit distressed at their master’s current state, but obeyed.
“Frank use crunch! Shade use razor shell! Nightmist use aqua jet!”, Gouki commanded.
“Llew get that Feraligatr. Gancelot shoot the Floatzel out of the sky.”, Aichi ordered.
Llew did as he said swiping at Frank before it could hit Ahmes. Ahmes finished off Frank with its solar blade. Gancelot sweated nervously, trembling a bit at Aichi’s aura right now. Gancelot aimed its aura sphere at Nightmist sending it careening of course and dispelling the water around it.
“Now, get it Wingal.”, Aichi ordered.
Wingal shook a bit before jumping to claw Nightmist as it fell. Shade tried to interfere with a razor shell, but Gancelot shot it down with an aura sphere.
“Now, finish it off.”, Aichi commanded.
Llew delivered consecutive sucker punches to Shade knocking it out.
“Good.”, Aichi said, as Gouki fainted like the others.
Even though he seemed happy his Pokémon couldn’t help, but shake in fear as well as Kamui’s. It was a primal fear. They could feel the overwhelming, suffocating power leaking out of him. Along with the sinister vibe the power gave off.
“G-Golisopod? (I-Is everything alright Aichi?)”, Llew asked, never experiencing Aichi in this state before.
“Of course I’m alright we’ve won.”, Aichi replied.
They felt a wave wash over them which just made them nod and agree.
“A-Aichi! You’ve gotta snap out of it!”, Kamui said.
Aichi turned to Kamui with a smile. Kamui felt himself freeze; it was a bit softer, more normal than the sinister smirk yet, somehow far more disturbing. Especially paired with the unnatural menacing glow of the rainbow spiral that flashed in his eyes. When it wasn’t there he could see the darkness clouding Aichi’s eyes and his mind. Kamui sweated nervously, shaking in fear, but stood up to face him all the same.
“The real you is counting on me to turn you back! Come on, Aichi you can-“, Kamui was cut off, as the rainbow spiral appeared back in Aichi’s eyes.
“Kamui, I’m fine. You won’t turn me back. I’m better this way don’t you agree?”, Aichi commanded.
Kamui froze feeling the same wave wash over him.
“Yeah...Yeah, of course, Aichi!”, Kamui replied, a bit trancelike.
“And if anyone tries to turn me back you will stop them.”, Aichi added.
“Whatever you say, Aichi.”, Kamui replied.
“Gallade! Gallade! Gallade! Gallade? Gallade? (Aichi, you can’t let that power consume you! Don’t you see what you're doing?)”, Ahmes said.
Aichi turned to Ahmes with a smirk.
“You will no longer stop me, Ahmes. I am your new master and you will all obey me without question.”, Aichi commanded.
His Pokémon flinched feeling the order wash over them. Compelling them to obey. He started laughing maniacally as the murky blue aura surrounded him.
“Good. Hehehaha! Finally! I told you I would take control, Aichi. Now...what should I do first?Oh, wait I’ve gotta get my badge.”, Aichi said to himself; strangely talking in the third person.
With Kai and Ren…
“W-what the heck!?”, Kai gasped, seeing the screen showing what happened in the water gym.
Kai and Miwa were completely stunned.
“It’s about time. I’m surprised it took so long to take over him.”, Ren said as they turned to him.
“What did you do to him?!”, Kai questioned.
“It’s not what I did. It’s how he was made.”, Ren replied.
“Made?! What do you mean made?”, Kai questioned, in confusion.
“As I said Aichi is just like me. He was created to fulfill Team Asteroid’s goal of world domination.”, Ren revealed as the two gasped.
“What the heck are you talking about? You can’t make someone!”, Miwa denied.
“Team Asteroid’s science is the greatest in the world. Team Asteroid’s top scientists made both of us. Is it even that crazy considering Mewtwo exists? But, Aichi ended up disappearing. We now know from monitoring you guys who took him.”, Ren explained.
“Why did he change?”, Kai asked.
“As I was saying it’s a part of how he was programmed. I don’t know all the specific science mumbo jumbo involved. We don’t know for sure how, but something seems to have been suppressing it.”, Ren explained.
“Is that what happened to you? Your brain is being messed with?”, Kai asked, as Ren laughed.
“Does it matter? All that matters is that I’m now the strongest trainer alive! And I’m going to finally prove it to you Kai!”, Ren said as he held out a Poké ball in front of Kai.
“Fine, then after I beat you and return you to your senses then I’ll do the same to Aichi!”, Kai replied.
With Shin and Mark…
They had regrouped with Misaki and Esuka along with several other trainers.
“It looks like there all down now all we have to do is regroup and storm the base.”, Mark said.
They looked over as Aichi and Kamui walked over to them with their Pokémon and Hiroshi, Kaoru, Nagisa, and Gouki following. Shin, Mark, Esuka, and Misaki couldn’t help, but freeze when they saw Aichi. Something felt very off about him. He walked very casually with his hands in his pockets without a care in the world. The smirk on his face felt eerily familiar to them. The menacing yet alluring vibe as well. It felt like the person they considered the devil. Their instincts were screaming at them to get away at all costs.
“T-this feeling! It’s just like Gin!”, Shin thought, and coupled with the resemblance it felt like Gin was there with them.
Shin stepped back bracing himself.
“What’s wrong guys? We got Kamui’s friends back.”, Aichi asked, his voice sounding seemingly normal.
They sweated nervously now feeling a bit unsure. They were sure of what they felt, but in an instance they suddenly felt doubt. Misaki walked up to them to see what’s going on.
“Nothings wrong. Is everything alright with Aichi, Kamui?”, Misaki asked.
“Yeah, he’s fine. Why?”, Kamui asked.
“He just seems…”, Misaki trailed off, looking over to Aichi unsure.
“I’m perfectly fine, Misaki. I understand your worry, but I really am.”, Aichi assured.
For some reason Misaki felt all her doubts completely disappear at Aichi’s assurance. Shin squirmed, having a horrible feeling in his chest he couldn’t shake. He knew he was lying, but despite it they all felt tempted to agree with him. Cobalion went beside Shin thinking the same thing. It could sense the menacing aura around Aichi no matter how much he tried to hide it.

Alternate Next Gen (Relatives): Brook Rivers
Brook is the son of Lily and Dorian. As a young boy, Brook enjoyed watching his mom and his aunts perform in water shows and would always watch them along side his cousins and it was because of the influence with watching their respective moms that they started their own water show where they started calling themselves “The Captivating Cousins”. The main difference between him and his mom is that he doesn’t belittle his youngest cousin Lapis and sees her as a strong battler and a great gym leader when it’s time for her to take over the gym, he, along with Gale and Rosemary also let Lapis join them for their water shows when she isn’t busy training or taking exams. Brook does care about his looks but he cares more about his Pokemon than how he looks and will always groom and care for them since he sees the Pokemon as the main stars of each performance. In a lot of performances, Brook will play a more heroic role as such his Pokemon represent the role he takes as being a hero. Brook will mostly do research about their shows to make sure that what they’re doing is accurate to how it was in whatever time period or whatever setting they’re doing.
His Pokemon:
Mantyke- Mantyke hatched from an egg given to him by his parents after Dorian’s Mantine laid an egg. As Mantyke is still young, he gets uneasy when he isn’t near Brook and always stays near him, especially when he’s swimming in the pool with him. Mantyke is very friendly and enjoys swimming and playing with the other baby Pokemon that Brook’s cousins have and they in turn like playing with him. He loves swimming and diving under water and he enjoys having Togepi and Pichu ride on his back so they can enjoy the water with him. Togepi, Pichu, Mantyke and Azurill are known to be the mascots and stars of many of the water shows the cousins create together and he enjoys taking part in the water shows as he gets to be with his friends and his surrogate father. Mantyke loves to swim with his Dorian’s Mantine when the two of them are able to swim in a large body of water, he always has fun swimming with other Water-type Pokemon and he loves taking his pseudo siblings for a swim along with him and his father. Mantyke often acts as the older brother between him, Lapis’ Togepi, Gale’s Pichu and Rosemary’s Azurill and he acts as the peacemaker between the three of them, as well as making sure all of them are happy which he does when by performing a small water show for them if they’re upset. Mantyke has a special bond with Lapis’ Togepi, Gale’s Pichu and Rosemary’s Azurill, the four of them see each other as siblings despite none of them being the same species or sharing parents.
Caught in a Dive Ball.
Ability is Water Absorb.
Moves are Water Gun, Supersonic, Aqua Ring and Air Slash. Locked moves are Hydro Pump, Air Cutter, Agility, Mirror Coat, Ice Beam and Round.
Dewott- Dewott was given to Brook by his grandparents when he was a Oshawott after the two of them went to a trip to the Unova region. As a Oshawott, Dewott was pretty clumsy and a little bit of a airhead, often tripping when he would walk or he would make a mistake during rehearsal for a Water show. While he was clumsy and a little bit of an airhead, he did have a temper that would rarely come out or it would come out if he got annoyed enough and he would go into a frenzy. After evolving into Dewott, he became less clumsy and became more focused and serious which surprised his trainer and his trainer’s cousins. Dewott is an honorable Pokemon and doesn’t like anyone who plays dirty or cheats during a battle, finding those kinds of people or Pokemon to be weak and he can’t stand it when he sees a big Pokemon picking on a small Pokemon and he will fiercely protect the smaller Pokemon from a bigger Pokemon. While Dewott doesn’t understand much about the water shows, he does enjoy the plays where he gets to battle with his trainer by his side. Dewott has a sweet tooth for chocolate, to the point if he eats one he’ll lose his stoic face and happily munch on the chocolate. Dewott has a brotherly bond with Lapis’ Wartortle and Gale’s Prinplup though all three of them often fight for Rosemary’s Brionne’s affections.
Given in a Pokeball.
Ability is Torrent.
Moves are Razor Shell, Revenge, Iron Tail, Swords Dance, X-Scissor, Sacred Sword, Night Slash, Rain Dance, Double Team and Aqua Tail.
Poliwrath- Brook caught his Poliwrath when he was a Poliwhirl, thinking it would be cool if he had a Poliwrath while his cousin Lapis had a Politoed, he caught Poliwhirl and got a Water stone from a store but to his confusion his Poliwhirl wouldn’t evolve when he gave him the Water Stone. After a Nurse Joy explained that perhaps Poliwhirl needed to train some more before he evolved, Brook took that as advice and trained his Poliwhirl as hard as he could in any body of water that he could get to as well as on land. It wasn’t until the two of them were swimming that Brook had ended up getting too close to some Tentacruel and they ended up attacking him and his Pokemon. After a hard fight, Poliwhirl had evolved into Poliwrath to protect Brook. Poliwrath is a very strong and protective Pokemon, he’s also very serious and takes time to train himself with both swimming and martial arts. Poliwrath isn’t easily deterred by anything that may be in his way when it comes to the water shows or just swimming in general, he also enjoys playing the role of a hero Pokemon with his trainer. He also teaches children who visit the gym how to swim when he isn’t needed in a water show, he enjoys being with children.
Caught in a Lure Ball.
Ability is Swift Swim.
Moves are Submission, Mind Reader, Dynamic Punch, Hydro Pump, Power-up Punch, Ice Punch, Dive, Drain Punch, Bubble Beam and Poison Jab.
Buizel- Brook caught his Buizel while he and his family were on a trip to Sinnoh, Buizel was rather shy and was about to get away from the large amount of people he saw but when he laid eyes on Brook he felt more at ease with him and let himself be caught by Brook. Buizel is very shy around people and Pokemon he hasn’t met before but when he gets to know them he’s more excited and happy to meet others, often claiming to be their friend. Brook started training with Buizel in an attempt to get him to open up more, it took a while but he did start opening up and became less shy and more brave and determined. Despite Buizel’s more determined and brave nature, he still doesn’t like performing in a water show due to stage fright so he prefers to have more low known roles such as being a background Pokemon instead of battling. Buizel still enjoys helping out his trainer and his cousins with their shows so he’ll also use his moves to create beautiful background and effects, Brook, Gale and Rosemary are okay with what he does and has no issue with his work.
Caught in a Fast Ball.
Ability is Swift Swim.
Moves are Rain Dance, Aqua Jet, Water Pulse, Ice Punch, Water Gun, Double Team, Echoed Voice, Aqua Tail, Hail and Secret Power.
Ludicolo- Ludicolo was caught by Brook when he found Ludicolo dancing and playing with children near the city, seeing how well he was dancing he figured that Ludicolo would be a good member for his team so he caught Ludicolo, Ludicolo didn’t mind and was perfectly fine with having a trainer. Ludicolo is a cheerful and jolly Pokemon, he enjoys dancing to music and entertaining young children who come to the water shows. Ludicolo is a capable battler and enjoys dancing while he battles, which is something Brook uses to his advantage. Despite how he looks, he still is a Pokemon who is protective of his trainer and the Pokemon gym, as such he will fight with all he can if either is in danger. Ludicolo is also protective over children and always protects them or helps them should they need help, he’s often known as being a protector for other young kids.
Caught in an Ultra Ball.
Ability is Rain Dish.
Moves are Teeter Dance, Giga Drain, Nature Power, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Whirlpool, Razor Leaf, Water Pulse, Energy Ball and Hydro Pump.
