Me being normal and thinking about digging a hyperfixation on D3-09—the fun and sexy logistics droid they have as a room assistant at Disney World's Star Wars hotel.

Me wanting a fanfic that's D3-09/Reader, but the reader has social anxiety and stays in their room most of the voyage, mostly hearing about the events from D3-09 instead of experiencing them.

Me craving the moment they actually meet during a climatic rescue that's not even at the end of the hotel's story, where the reader frantically runs through the ship to save D3-09 from First Order stormtroopers.

Parents are what's wrong with children.

im so done with seeing articles about kids and screen time that doesnt mention parent behaviors even once. “kids are always on their phones” so are the parents! which the kids look to for how they should behave! ipad babies didn’t chose to only play on their ipads, thats what their parents gave them!

an anecdotal example: when i was a kid, all my parents would do in their minimal free time was watch tv and then they would be surprised when in my sister and i’s minimal free time we would also only watch tv/play video games. they scolded us for not reading books, but they never read books. they scolded us for not going outside but they never went outside.

Nanowrimo

Anyone want to be Nano accountability partners? Whether you've done it before or this is your first time, whatever genre you write. I just know that having people or a team that you're accountable to and that you are also encouraging them makes Nano easier and more fun!

For those who have never heard of Nano it stands for:

NAtional

NOvel

WRIting

MOnth

The objective is to write a 50,000+ word story (or several short stories, whatever works for you) or novel within the month of November (without editing which makes it go a lot faster than you might think.) It averages out to just 1667 words per day. But you can always write more if you want to skip a day. For instance, if you only want to write during the week Monday to Friday it is 2273 words a day.

You can work on plot lines and character development this month if you are a planner. You can continue WIPs too. I plan to use it as the final push I need to finish Roses are Red, Violets are Adored and finish the optional epilogue.

I promise you no one will shame you or be disappointed if you don't actually make your word limits because even attempting Nano is huge thing to be proud of and life does sometimes get in the way.

I have lots of little tips and tricks to share that I will be sharing either on this blog or I might create a nano specific blog.

Sanguinarius, una ciudad amurallada perdida en la oscuridad. Dicen que es famosa por sus noches pero tú jamás has salido de ella. Magnates corruptos, prostitutas, traficantes, mercenarios, asesinos, miserables y pobretones que llegaron a la ciudad atraídos por sus iguales, ratas de alcantarilla que nacieron aquí y morirán en el fango. Entre los muros de Sanguinarius, no encontrarás a ningún mortal que se atreva, siquiera, a hacer mención de las numerosas desapariciones y muertes que ocurren después de cada puesta de sol. Pues hay algo peor que la escoria humana aglutinada en la ciudad, pero ellos no viven entre las calles adoquinadas y sucias, no… ellos duermen durante el día, repartidos por los cinco imponentes palacios de la ciudad, anclados a poderosos miembros de la nobleza: vampiros. La vida diurna de la ciudad no es menos… interesante, pero digamos que no es tan divertida. Sanguinarius, es una ciudad en la que se yerguen miles y miles de edificios sin ningún criterio. Al lado de una casa en ruinas un edificio de piedra inmaculada, junto a uno muy alto hay otro muy bajo, madera y ladrillos se entremezclan sin orden. Está llena de edificios que se suceden sin ninguna lógica ni razón, atravesada por intrincadas calles. Exactamente igual son las vidas de aquellos que moran en ella. La ciudad está dividida en cuatro partes. El caudaloso río estableció una frontera natural entre dos mitades y éstas fueron divididas por una calle que atraviesa el río a lomos de un puente adoquinado. Fuera de la ciudad, al sur, igualmente fortificada, se encuentra La Guardia. Pero volviendo a Sanguinius, en medio del río, en una diminuta isla, en la zona neutral, vemos un inmenso castillo, propio de un rey, el palacio de los Maiestas, la estirpe más poderosa de la ciudad. La gente de buenas costumbres dirá que no hace bien su trabajo, mas no saben que vela, precisamente, por el reinado del caos. La pequeña isla es su único territorio aparente, no necesitan más tierra; su poder abarca absolutamente todo lo que protege las murallas. Así, la ciudad dividida en cuatro partes es para las cuatro familias nobles que, hace siglos, se repartieron el territorio a gobernar: Aqer, Aqerbit, Quaestor y Cruxis
