Hotel workers in LA are striking, including those who work at the hotel where the meeting is going to be held. This is the union's request: "Workers ask all guests and potential guests to respect their strike and not eat, sleep, or meet at a striking hotel. It is encouraged that guests and patrons contact hotel management about their concerns and reasons for cancelling reservations or checking out early. When you check out early or cancel your reservation, please consider posting about it on social media tagging our union and with the hashtag #SoCalHotelStrike.".

The petition asks APSA to adhere to this and either relocate the conference or move it virtual. The executive committee is meeting tomorrow to decide what to do so please sign ASAP.
