Sharing another amazing dining experience at @boppandtone. ⁣ Swipe through the carousel to see more. The food on the front covers showcases the unique no-gas approach to cooking, for everything is predominantly cooked on the in-house wood grill or charcoal oven. The food is designed to share, and the menu has a generous selection and variety for everyone including seafood, quality steaks, and cured meats. ⁣ The venue decor reflects nostalgia and optimism in the post WW2 era, embodying opulence and grandeur. Does anyone know what it’s called Bopp & Tone? ⁣ What we ate: 🥩 Bistecca alla Fiorentina, 1kg grass fed Brooklyn Valley VIC MB3+ - cooked medium rare and even for MB3+ was very soft and creamy; 🍊 Radicchio, fennel, orange, sesame; 🍃 Fried cauliflower, tahini yoghurt, grape, dukkah - the surprising dish of the night, such a lovely compliment to any dish, very savoury and hearty and not too heavy; 🥩 Wagyu bresaola - my favourite dish of the night, so creamy I forgot it was sliced; 🦪 Sydney rock oysters, verjus mignonette - loved the oil and acidic balance of the freshness and the mignonette; 🦐 Australian king prawns, garlic, chilli, oregano - loved the smokiness of the flavours; 🍷 Bondar ‘Violet Hour’, McLaren Vale SA, 2018 Shiraz - a must with your steak!
