☾ what is your character’s fondest memory?

Brett: I think his fondest memory is probably split between two events — making a friend with Anabel, the families baby cow, or discovering comic books for the first time. Brett was tiny when Anabel was brought into the world and he helped groom her and take care of her. The cow loved him just as much as he loved her and it was his first true friend outside of his siblings. Until, well… The cow was horrifically mutilated by beings out of this world (literally). But then! The comics gave him new life! New happiness and encouragement! He saw all these misfits trying to save the world — some like him, being horribly rejected and ridiculed, yet doing amazing things with their abilities and despite the short end of the stick they were seemingly given! It gave him a new lease on life, in a sense and made him begin creating his own comic. Comics began to make like more bearable and enjoyable for him.Jay: The best moment in Jay’s life (as well as fondest memory) is when his daughter, Jasmine, was born. He was in his late teens when she was conceived and born, having already said he didn’t want kids and that he hated them, and he still does, just not his daughter.Skye: When it comes to Skye, I feel like her fondest would be when she got her first book/learned to read. She loves reading and school as always been her escape! Or perhaps… It’s when she met a certain wolf, but definitely reading.Quentin: It’s a mix between first forming the band/getting a record deal or when he opened his skate/tattoo shop. Both are probably his fondest and what makes it better for him is that he did both both with his best friend.Walter: Meeting Rocky was Walter’s fondest moment, finally getting his band out there and of course, opening his music shop in Rocky’s honor. It really stems from Rocky, since if it weren’t for him, he wouldn’t be where he is now, nor would he be living the dream. Rocky was his mentor, like a second father and this man looked up to him 

♨ is your character a warm and friendly person? or are they the ones who keep people at an arms length.

Brett: He’s in between. Brett loves people, but doesn’t trust them to like him, but on a lot of days it honestly doesn’t stop him from giving people random hugs — especially if he feels like they really truly need it. He’ll go over, hug then and say, “H-have a n-nice d-day!” or something.Jay: He isn’t warm at all, save for being near his daughter. In front of her, he has to be nice to the other parents and people, but most of the time he responds gruffly and will look at you like, “the fuck you want?” if you try to speak to him, let alone touch him (which he absolutely hates).  Out of the other characters, he’s the one most likely to kill you with his bare hands if you ever had the misfortune of fighting with him and he does kill people for a living.Skye: When first meeting Skye, she’s usually cold in hopes of pushing the person away. She’s really a warm and caring person, but this is to protect herself from getting hurt, even though it’s more counter-productive. She’s really sweet and warm once you’ve gained her trust, though.Quentin: When meeting others, the male is polite , but shows an air of arrogance. He has an ego and it shows in his being, but he’s friendly and very business oriented.Walter: He’s a puppy in every sense of the word. He’s happy to see others and is overly friendly, always smiling and willing to help (if it’s in his shop).  He tries to see the good in people as much as possible. 

⌘ what kind of books and/or music does your character like to read/listen to?

Brett: He mostly reads comics of various kinds, except for ones about Aliens for… Personal reasons.  When it comes to music, it’s mostly pop/punk.Jay: He doesn’t read as often as he’d like, but he’s fond of mysteries and who done it’s, probably more than he’s like to admit. Music is… Crappy boybands thanks to a little fox and very heavy metal and gangster rap. Angry music in general.Skye: She will read  a n y t h i n g she can get her hands on. It doesn’t matter if it’s a crappy Fifty Shades or what — if it’s a book, she’ll read it. Her music tastes vary, but when it comes to her working on art, she’s fond of the Silent Hill soundtracks and creepy instrumentals. Quentin: He’s a Rob Zombie fanboy and often listens to him, Deftones, Tool, and various other musicians. His favorite reads are usually anything that’s dark, dank, and dreary. Walter: This man doesn’t read that much, but if he does, it’s usually a biography on some musician, a cook book, or some sort of food/music review. With music? Oh lordy, he listens to e v e r y t h i n g. If it’s in his store, it’s likely that he’s listened to it. He loves music.

Fitz and Michael // Keep the Faith

Fitz was driving in his car while listening to his favorite album of all time, Dangerous by Michael Jackson. The album was coming up to being 24 years old and to Fitz it sounded like it could have been recorded yesterday. He sung along as he waited at the lights and nodded his head along to the beat. Fitz was 19 and had lived a privileged life, apart from his parents working allot and not being there for him enough he had a pretty good deal. Money was not an issue and yes he did take it for granted. 

He drove the black Porsche through the country side of California and decided to make a detour to check out the Neverland Ranch. He had been there before. His childhood nanny knew the Jackson family well. When they had been there Michael was away but Fitz remembered looking around the garden in awe. He loved the place, it was pure magic. He got out of his car and smiled as he walked up to the gates and ran his fingers over the bars. He pulled his light black jacket down and adjusted his tie as he sat down on the grass beside his car that was still playing the music.

"I would like to say that I like all kinds of music, which, in a sense, I do. I like at least one artist from each genre, but I can be very particular. Most times you can find me either listening to a Bach’s organ works, or an opera by Gounod, and the next day I very well may be blaring Wire or Richard Hell. I adore classic country, Patsy Cline in particular… Eclectic, I suppose. As for literature, I prefer to stick to the classics. I enjoy horror, in particular. H.P. Lovecraft and Wilde are my dearest favorites. Other than that I own stacks and stacks of motorcycle manuals and magazines, and I can look at the same one over and over again just to admire the photos."

Hmm.. I think about my friends a lot! I also think of rainbows and unicorns. Sometimes I count the stages of mitosis to help me fall asleep.
