Can I request DrunkCollegeAU with Kuroo? He keeps meeting his crush in parties and a few times they end up kissing, but somehow always end up interrupted. But one time he's alone at a party and gets really smashed and wakes up in someone else's house. When he enters the kitchen he sees a girl who was talking about the party to her friend who happens to be his crush. Apparently through the party he was sobbing how his crush is not there and he refused to leave until he sees her xD
Here you go! Enjoy!
~Wendy!
Kuroo Tetsuro was abusy man. Between his college classes and captaining the volleyball team, hedidn’t have time to worry about things like relationships. He’d been asked outmultiple times, but his schedule wouldn’t allow it. Kuroo had pretty much acceptedthat he’d have to wait until his life slowed down a little bit to date.
That was, until thesecond semester of his freshman year of college. He was never a fan of groupprojects, but this was different than any group he had ever been put with.Normally, he teamed up with his buddies from the team, or someone he knew frommiddle or grade school. This was the first time he had been paired with acomplete stranger.
“Hi.”Kuroo smiled at his partner. “I’m Kuroo Tetsuro. Nice to meet you.“
"I’m l/n f/n.Nice to meet you, too.” She smiled back. “So, for this project, wehave a choice of topic? Which did you want to choose?”
Y/n was able tofocus on the work. But Kuroo was a little distracted. The more they workedtogether, the more he liked her. They got to know each other pretty well, andtended to drift off topic and talk about anything and everything. By the end ofthe project, Kuroo was completely smitten, and his buddies started poking funof it.
Kuroo was generallytoo busy for parties. But exams had just finished, so there was a small breakfrom school work for a while. The team decided to go together to a party, andthey all got pretty drunk.
“Kuroo,look!” A teammate pointed to y/n. “It’s your girlfriend.”
“She’s not mygirlfriend.” Kuroo chuckled.
“Not yet. Gotalk to her!”
Thanks to the liquidcourage, Kuroo walked up to her. They talked and danced for a while.
“It’s nice tosee you outside of school for a change.” Kuroo chuckled.
“Yeah, itis.” She agreed. “But there actually is one course subject I’d liketo talk about. Can you guess which?”
“Chemistry.”Kuroo smiled seductively.
“So you feelit, too?” Y/n blushed.
“Absolutely Ido.” Kuroo leaned in, and y/n closed the gap. There was definitely aspark. And after the events of that night, Kuroo made a mental note to attendmore parties. He stuck to that, and ended up making out with y/n at three orfour more parties. That’s as far as they got, though. Y/n always had a D.D thattook her home, so Kuroo never got the chance to.
Y/n generally wentto parties with her friends, and had never mentioned any other guys before.Kuroo hadn’t even seen her flirt with anyone but him before. So, naturally, hethought he was the only one she was interested in.
That was not thecase, but Kuroo found that out the hard way. Y/n posted a facebook picture ofher kissing another guy. Kissing didn’t necessarily mean they were together, but posting the picture on facebook made it pretty clear.
“You’ve beenoff all night.” A teammate nudged Kuroo. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.”Kuroo lied, taking another sip of hid drink. Kuroo was an emotional drunk, andhe didn’t want to get into something sad after that many drinks.
“You’ve beenstaring at y/n all night, instead of actually talking to her. Something’s goingon.”
“She posted apicture with her boyfriend. They were kissing in it, so I’m pretty sure they’rea thing.”
“They might notbe an exclusive thing.”
"Maybe. But Idon’t want to be part of a non-exclusive thing with anyone. That’s notme."
"Why don’t youat least go ask her if it means anything.”
“It’s on herprofile, of course it means something.”
“So you’re justgoing to stand here and pout, instead of confirming you’re right. Then, youcould move on and enjoy your night.”
That was a goodpoint. Kuroo wouldn’t be able to move on without closure.
“Okay,fine.”
But as he aproachedher, he saw the man from the picture get her attention. She hugged him tight, and Kuroo backtracked.
“Whathappened?” The teammate asked.
“That’s the guyfrom the picture.”
“That sucks,dude, I’m sorry.”
They continued theirnight, dancing and getting even more drunk. But once the alcohol wore off,Kuroo was pretty bummed. The team noticed, and invited him to a party thatweekend to get his mind off of it. But, he wasn’t in any mood to go.
Classes had pickedup speed again, so Kuroo was working hard instead of partying. He took a studybreak, checking facebook and other social media, only to see another picturey/n had posted of her and her boyfriend. Kuroo rolled his eyes and decided to getback to work to distract himself. His phone beeped again, but it was a teammatetelling him to come to the party. Kuroo had told everyone no’ multiple times, but it didn’t seem to help.
Kuroo reluctantlygot back to work. He couldn’t focus. His thoughts kept drifting to y/n and herboyfriend. Kuroo had never felt this jealous before. But more than that, he wasupset that y/n didn’t tell him. He thought they were closer than that.Kuroo decidedto finish the chapter he was on, and go blow off some steam dancing anddrinking with his friends.
Unfortunately, Kuroomight’ve blown off a little too much steam. He was completely smashed, evensome of his drunk friends were concerned, trying to get him to drink somewater.
“Where’sy/n-chan?” Kuroo asked.
“What do youmean? Did you see her here earlier?”
“Well…no… butshe should be here.”
“She should behere because…?”
“Because herstupid boyfriend’s right over there. She’s gotta…. be somewhere aroundhere.” Kuroo went on a drunken ramble. “We spent so much timetogether. She didn’t mention him once. Or any guy. Not once! It blindsided me.I thought we were closer than that. I thought we were going somewhere. I toldher pretty much everything, even some sappy stuff about how much I liked her.Come to think of it, she always managed to change the topic after that.”
“It reallysucks when you think you’re close with someone only to find out you care aboutthem more than they care about you. But you know what I do when I feel likethat?”
“What?”
“I say ‘Forgetthem’. After making out that many times, while mentioning zero other boys, pretty much anyone would think you two would be a couple soon. I guess shedidn’t want that, and it wasn’t cool of her to lead you on so many times. Youtold her how much you liked her, but she didn’t say anything back. You shouldbe with someone who will, and you’ll find them soon enough.”
“Exactly. Thanks, man.” Kuroo smiled for the first time in a while.
Kuroo didn’tremember anything after that. He woke up in a bedroom he had never seen before. There were blankets and a pillow on the floor, meaning someone had slept on thefloor and given him their bed. He panicked. What happened last night? Heblacked out somewhere along the line, and couldn’t remember anything after theadvice from his friend.
Kuroo’s plan was tolook around the room and find his phone. Maybe he could call someone, who wouldtell him what happened.
“Hey, Kuroo,what’s up?” He asked.
“I’m insomeone’s room. I don’t know who. What happened last night, I have no memorypast our talk, with all the advice.”
“I know, bro,you were pretty smashed.” His friend chuckled. “Don’t worry, though, nothing happened. Our manager took you home.”
“That’s notwhere I am.”
“I guess shemeant back to her home.”
Then, Kuroo’sstomach flipped. He suddenly felt sick.
“Our manager isy/n’s roommate!”
"Yeah."
"What if shethinks something happened between us!?”
“Tell her thetruth, you’ll be backed up. Besides, she’s with someone else, so you can be,too."
"Thanks, man.I’ve got to go.”
 "Noproblem.“
There was no wayanything happened between him and his manager. Kuroo looked around the room onemore time to make sure he didn’t forget anything. He walked out to see hismanager and his crush having breakfast together.
"Morning.”Kuroo smiled as he walked out into the kitchen.
“Morning,Kuroo. Want some breakfast?” Y/n asked.
“I actuallyhave to go, sorry. Maybe another time.” Kuroo headed for the door.
“Are you sure?I wanted to talk about last night.”
Kuroo stopped. Hedid want to know what happened last night. Even if all he did was embarrasshimself, he wanted to know. Otherwise, he would imagine the worst case scenarioover and over again.
“I do, too. Ihave absolutely no memory of what happened after I saw your boyfriend.”
“You saw him, huh? How was he?” Y/n asked, in a worried tone.
“Shouldn’t youknow better than me?” Kuroo chuckled.
“I actuallybroke things off last night with him, after our talk.”
"I must’ve seenhim before I talked to you. I don’t remember that either.”
“Oh. I guesswe’ve gotta go over everything again, huh?"
"You two havefun with that, I have to head to the library. Later, guys.” Y/n’s roommateheaded out the door after grabbing her backpack.
“So, what didwe talk about?"
"It didn’tstart off well. You were really drunk, which explains the lack of memory. Youwere pretty emotional, too.”
“I–I think we need to talk.” Kuroo said, slurring his words.
“Okay. What’s up?”
“That was t–totally uncool. Why didn’t you tellme about that guy?”
“What guy?” Y/n could tell where theconversation was headed, and she was stalling.
“Your boyfriend. You knew I liked you. You leadme on, it was a shitty thing t–to do.” Kuroo stuttered. The tears werealready threatening to fall.
“I didn’t lead you on. You never asked me out.Someone else did. I thought you were all talk. I didn't… I didn’t know you wereserious about me.”
“I am very serious about you.”
“Kuroo, you’re drunk. Will you say the samething when you’re sober?”
“O–of course I will. B–but the real questionis… what will you say? Are you serious about m–me?”
“Very.” Y/n smiled.
“So, basically,I made a fool out of myself, but you like me anyway?” Kuroo chuckled, earning a laugh from y/n as well.
“Basically.”She agreed.
“In that case,I’m going to formally ask you out. Maybe a classic dinner and a movie?”
“That soundsgreat.” Y/n blushed.
“I’d love tostay longer, but I wasn’t lying earlier when I said I had to go. But I’ll callyou, and we can work out a time for our date. Take care, y/n-chan.” Kuroowinked.
