i talked about this all the way back in february but oh my god. fuck. please tell me what you think of the possibility of the Eight in side order actually being different from the eight that we know and is like. a clone situation since ♾️ looks like 8️⃣. im exploding. ive been thinking about this for almost a full year

Oooohh! That's an interesting theory! I do think for sure there will be themes of cloning, recreating, and other stuff like that. But specifically that Side Order 8 is different than the one we know? That could be really cool. Being a clone of someone and not knowing until it's revealed is always a cool plot point. The 8 being infinity sideways thing is also something the Splatoon devs would do.

hello! thank you for your hard work towards unfucking everyone's dashboards! today i've run into an issue on a couple posts where an extra Follow button is added below certain strings of [person reblogged from person]. i didn't notice any of this yesterday; is there anything i can do to fix this on my end?

also, i tried to paste this screenshot into your ask box and the first time tumblr told me i went over some "4096 character block limit" and the image broke through the ask window. is that standard tumblr?

should be fixed now! I had the mini-follow buttons hidden, so i didn't realize there was an extra one there. as for the latter, that's just a standard tumblr thing.

LMAO. i can imagine. personally i knew of the series since i was like, 12? but never got into it bc the game didnt have an english patch at the time. however the vita version has had one for a while now, and even the sequel does too now, and honestly playing them as an adult...it's too easy to just enjoy them LOL. I'm a kanato enjoyer (insane) and shuu liker (normal). still haven't finished reiji or subaru's routes though. i used to be an otome game *fiend* but i have to be in a specific mood nowadays since the casual misogyny in the japanese ones can be too much sometimes, lmfao.

Flounder Heights Returns!?

[As usual, speculation! But this one seems VERY promising!!]

Twitter user apostleoforder made a post about a potential MAJOR hint that Flounder Heights is indeed returning for Splatoon 3!! See the far left corner of the third image?

It looks EXACTLY like what's on the Flounder Heights map!! It flashes for only a second in the Return of the Mammalians Trailer, but it's there!

While I can't 100% guarantee this absolutely means it's back, it'd be VERY strange to include it randomly for no significant reason...

i am Guy Who's NA3 OC is the Other Octoling in the Sludge with who becomes Agent 8 so it straight up just feels like their like. Existences are melding together. like the mem cakes. im so insane about this weird soul thing and the tableturf dialogue. and the OtH waving deal. also, i heard that the regular player character is just....out of bounds in side order, and i saw a video of it but cant seem to find the source right now. which...feels very deliberate, you know?

Oh wow yeah this is perfect for your Agents. And I never heard the latter part???????? If you ever find it I'd LOVE to see- hell when I set up Side Order on an emulator I might even use freecam just to try and find this.

@apostleoforder​ submitted: hello! i’m having trouble identifying this caterpillar(?) from [removed] [please remove location!]. it certainly moved like a caterpillar, but anytime i looked for results online, i got ones that didn’t have the little hairs this fella does.

i hope the quality is good enough here, but there was a little yellow thing attached to what i think is its rear-end. i tried to get a good look at its face by gently poking with a blade of grass, but as soon as i did it went down further into the grass (and i think spit a little?)

is this its head? i don’t know. i hope you can help me figure this out! thanks in advance!!

Hi! It’s a cutworm in the family Noctuidae, probably a bristly cutworm, Lacinipolia renigera - hence the little hairs! The head is on the right in these photos. The stuff coming out of the butt could either be defensive secretion or just poop. Their poop can look different depending on what they just ate and sometimes they’ll poop as a defensive mechanism which would make sense if you were poking at it.
