Rose: Tell us about a piece of art (in any sense) that you love and why?

I know everybody has heard enough about me gushing about Vadászat... but damn that album is a piece of art that I love a whole lot! It combines great music and poetry just as amazing to make one of the best concept albums I’ve ever heard! I mean, some songs may seem weird to people who don’t understand the lyrics or the concept of it, but I think even the music alone can convey what it’s about... I am not a big fan of Hobo Blues Band, especially not their covers, but this album is honestly a masterpiece.

Daisy: What’s a little thing that makes you smile?

The way that old dog on the corner always comes to greet me. He isn’t a very expressive dog usually, he doesn’t show much of his emotions. But I think we’ve become good friends since I’ve moved here and saw him every time I went to work or came home, so now he comes running every time he sees me, wagging his tail with joy in his eyes. I’m happy to have a dog like him as my friend.

Orange Blossom: Describe your favourite item of clothing.

It’s a denim jacket from the 80s that used to be my aunt’s I think. Though some people say it was my dad’s. My dad and aunt can’t tell whose it was. It’s that very typical 80s kinda denim jacket, and wearing it makes me feel like I’m the protagonist of a movie. I kinda ruined it, to be honest, because I tried to paint the Woodstock logo on the back, and never bothered to finish it. I will one day finish it though, and then it’ll be even cooler than before.

Lilac: Tell us about a place you love.

There’s this place in Hungary called Keret Klub. It’s a really tiny place that functions like a pub but is officially a club so they can avoid laws against smoking and probably some other legal stuff. But it makes you feel like a special person, you gotta sign a paper that you are now a club member when you first there, and then you can enter by either giving the code or ringing the bell and saying your name. But the reason I love it is that it feels like a whole different world when you step in there from the streets of Budapest. It’s like one of those mountain lodges on the inside, or at least it reminds me of one. And on the upper floor, a cloud of origami cranes of different sizes and colours hangs from the ceiling. The kids from the high school part of the art school I go to all hang out there in the afternoon, which kinda makes me sad I didn’t go there...

Honeysuckle: What comforted you as a kid? What comforts you now?

Rationally thinking things through was a thing I used to comfort myself if I was afraid. Like the dragon I was convinced lived in my room and wanted to eat me when I fell asleep? Well, I’ve slept in my room countless times, he had plenty a chance to make me his lunch before! Why would he kill me this very night? Otherwise, I don’t really remember. As for now, there are many small things, like the mood enhancing tea I drink, comforting music, my man’s hugs, the warmth of the sun, the purr of a cat... Things like that.

1. which parent do you look more like?

My mom. My dad has dark hair and dark eyes. But parts of my face sometimes resemble my dad more.

2. is water wet?

Things are wet when water sticks to them. Well, due to cohesion, water sticks to water so yes, water is wet unless you take one single water molecule.

3. what was/is your favourite subject at school?

Depends on the grade! Early elementary school had a composition (can't translate it better) class where we pretty much just had to write stories. I loved that. Later elementary I loved physics and art. Had an amazing art teacher in 8th grade! In high school it was art and math, in the last two years literature because my teacher was great.

4. describe your favourite teacher.

He was my 8th grade art teacher. He had somewhat long hair that he wore in a ponytail, and he generally looked like a painter. I believe he didn't have the confidence to be a successful painter, he was never satisfied with what he painted. But he was the perfect teacher, so maybe that's for the best. He was patient, kind and had great humour. We all respected him enough to not be too terrible in his class. He also held two extracurricular activities: art and photography. Of course I went to both.

5. would you rather go without mascara, or without concealer?

I don't really ever wear either, I don't even know how to put them on properly. But I'll go with mascara and without concealer cuz I don't really have anything to put concealer on anymore.

6. which season do you think your personality reflects?

Spring! I'm kinda unpredictable, you never know in what mood you'll find me, same as spring weather. Sometimes I'm gloomy, sometimes I'm warm and loving.

7. how superstitious are you, on a scale of 1-10?

5, I guess? I like to make up little superstitions for myself for fun.

8. talk about some of your superstitions.

Anything to do with making wishes. For example I always make a wish on a shooting star. I also had a ring I believed to bring me luck. Actually, I often have a possession I give the role of luck bringer. Also if I find a playing card without the rest of its deck I take note of it, cards like these might be conveying a message.

9. honest opinion of wearing heels?

Hats off to anyone who can! I would love to rock heels, but I'm not used to them, and I don't think they'd suit me.
