There isn't enough content of VP so I'll make it myself.

I think we deserved more of Laurence trying to come to terms with the idea that he was in a new realm. Yeah, he had been to and stuck in the nether before so he would accept it faster, but MMW/VP's world is so much different than both the Nether and the Overworld (which I will use to address MCD's realm in this post).

VP's world is more technologically advanced and science based than either of the former, and for some reason, Laurence was just fine seeing a computer for the first time. Like a microscope? I could understand, maybe the Overworld had less advanced versions of those, but a fucking COMPUTER?? No way he would be normal about that, cause again, THEY DO NOT HAVE CRAYONS IN MCD, LAURENCE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT CRAYONS ARE.

Also, what if because they are from different realms, Laurence's body/innards are different from what Polly and Laila are expecting when x-raying him and inspecting him? It's been fanon established that the people of Phoenix Drop would have heftier builds because wheat and meats are their main diet, so Laila and Polly would def note how his diet makes his body, which would make Laurence very astonished since they 100% have not reached that level of health research in the Overworld. Maybe his bones are tougher than what Polly and Laila are expecting, maybe he has extra or less ribs than 'normal'. Hell maybe even his heart is on the opposite side than they are expecting because he is a 'human' from ANOTHER DIMESNION.

Yes, they have encountered people from other dimensions before, but Laurence is arguably the most 'human' they have ever seen. Modzilla is...well for one a dimension hopper and a man charred by the void, Reese and Marsh are literal sentient candy humanoids, so arguably, Laurence is the closest to human they could get.

Maybe him being a shadow knight means his body on the inside exhibits sign of decay, something or anything that could make him seem dead. His skin being ice cold, maybe he lets them see his shadow knight form for scientific research.

While yes there was a plot they had to be following, there is so much we missed out on of them just addressing that Laurence is not where he's meant to be. He just woke up in this new dimension after by his account being hit over the head by someone so incredibly close to him (Garroth), and it is just breezed over. It's just a lil upsetting.

ALSO, the lack of other MMW characters returning is sad, I think it would have been funny if Laurence had to learn there is an entire dimension full of people made of candy.

aaaand last post for the night, GENERAL RO’MEAVE BROTHER HEADCANONS!!

Vylad and Garroth meow at each other. like, randomly. Zane barks. they'll be hanging out or on a group call, and it'll get really silent, the three of them just enjoying each others presence, but Garroth can't stand silence for long periods of time.

so he meows. Vylad, instinctively, meows back. it goes back and forth and Zane just listens/ watches and then very rarely, will he bark. it's been something they've been doing since they were kids. they get weird looks for it, from random people, but they don't care.

Vylad comes back as soon as he gets a message from Zane that reads; "; need you." it had been months since Zane had messaged him, and the first message he sends is that? he's worried sick and drops what he's doing and pays for a ticket for the earliest time.

when he gets in the state, he immediately goes to mystreet, not even telling his mom he was back. he's so tired, but he doesn't pay any attention to that. he gets to Zanes, and none of the brothers are seen for three days, as the two olders updates him in everything.

they spend the most time together, bonding and the olders tell Vylad just how much they love him and care. it was unusual, especially for Zane, who's hugged Vylad a few times. when he asks about it, Garroth says, "we almost died, Vylad. we realized that our -

relationships with each other are some of the most important relationships ever. we didn't show you a lot of attention growing up, and for that, we're sorry." Vylad starts crying at it, realizing that he was now getting the ONE thing he wanted in life.

after this, after Vylad leaves again, they keep in contact, having a group chat with just the three of them. they message in it at the very least, once a week.

they all have black in their hair from Zianna.

Garroths is on the underside of his hair in the back, Zanes is yk and Vylads is in the front, in his bangs.

growing up, Vylad was the most ignored, or rather, he was given attention, just negatively from their father and not much from Zianna, as she was focused on Zane because she thought he was getting ignore the most. she didn't realize it was Vylad.

whenever the three were home alone, Garroth made sure they were all together, trying to spend time with one another and still not getting in trouble.

sometimes it worked, but other then their father started staying home more, not travelling as much and Zianna became a stay at home mom, and Garroth was scared that she would be upset if the three spent time together, even though he knew that she wouldn't be upset.

Sometiiimmeess you have to hyperfixate on sub-par media with your friend, and then create a specific ship between two characters that hardly appear in the media they're found in, let alone interact together at all in said media, essentially turning them into your ocs and creating a whole narrative of how to change as a person, how you can be impacted by the people close to you, and the joys & struggles of both things.

As I said in my last post, I was going to draw laurances all hot n bothered but I also just wanted an excuse to draw void!laurmau because DAWG THEYRE KINDA CUTE 😭😭 Void!aph n Laurances dynamic was so cute and funny like UGH AND THE FACT LAURANCE PROTECTS HER AS IF SHES HIS OWN APHMAU LIKE BRO LOVES AND PROTECTS HER IN ANY UNIVERSE I love Laurances character as much as any aphblr user , that’s all, I love my son anywho lemme keep talking about void paradox the series I wish continued.

I loved the mini series it was a nice break from the post Jess was making at the time ( a lot of myst content ) but also it was just super cool?? Seeing the mod mod world again I do wish she brought back Reese n marsh just cause I loved those two brothers as a kid but not the point. It was just super cool seeing an MCD character in modern times?? Especially with an Aphmau who didn’t know ANYTHING of this character like if it was mystreet Aphmau she would’ve made fun or poked at Laurance since she knew him but this Aphmau hadn’t a clue who he was?? Which omg opened to so much character for Laurance n void! Aphmau!! It didn’t show Casanova Laurance it just showed a guard who thought void!Aph was his and even after the fact he wanted to stay by her , ALSO JUST I KNOW I KEEP BRINGING IT UP BUT THEIR DYNAMICSSS AHHH ITS SO FUNNY !! Laurance being the more serious one out of the two is so unlike him especially where his character development was at?? Ok imma get to some lil hc(?)

Laurance n void!aph explored eachothers bodies laurance still thinks it was a dream and so when he kisses MCD! Aph he says that was his first kiss, it was in fact not

I’d like to think void!Aph doesn’t just forget about Laurance , but she does look back at the weird medieval guard who kept her safe for those few knights a lot and often chats to Tommy about him

Void Aphmau does talk to Laurance about MCD!Aphmau and she out right tells him to take his chance on her, ofc Laurance tells her he’s waiting for Garroth to tell his feelings but void Aphmau laughs at him straight up and teases if he even likes her if he’s waiting for another man to confess. Laurances get fed up with her comment but he does think about that comment a lot even though he knows she knows nothing about his life .

Laurance when he talks to Tommy can’t help but see Malachi weirdly enough

Laurance out of habit moves void Aphmaus hair out of her face as he does to MCD Aphmau but voidaph is purposely outing her hair in her face

Once when Laurance was watching over void Aph as she slept he lightly grazed his hand on her cheek where MCD!aphmaus mark would be. Tommy called him out for being weird

Time for more of Bee's Rants that Literally No One Asked For 👏👏👏

Today's Topic: VOID Paradox

(DISCLAIMER: Mostly theories towards the end as most information about it has not been confirmed. not trying to come off weird, I just like theorizing, you don't have to agree with anything I say if you think different)

VOID Paradox - Knowing most of the lore from Mystreet, Minecraft Diaries, Mod Mod World, and even Dreams of Estorra, I like to try to piece together the lore for VOID Paradox. People are generally very confused on what is even happening in VOID Paradox and I am too, but I like theorizing. So let's start from the beginning. Mod Mod World was one of the first minecraft rps that J3$$ ever made. Mod Mod World talked about different dimensions, VOID burn, Tommy, and the characters in that world, some of which made their way to Mystreet (Reese, Marsh, McCloud, and Krystal). Anyways, at the end of Mod Mod World, Modzilla made his way back to his original dimension, leaving Tommy behind to stay with Aphmau. Now Dreams of Estorra. In DoE, there are characters known as Evi's or NPC's. It is revealed in the series that Estorra is actually another dimension that users from another, other dimension travel to, and Evi's are actually real people (Estorrans). Keep that in your head. Stay with me here this is a lot. Now, in Minecraft Diaries, way back in the lore we know that Irene can create new dimensions using her relic. And in case anyone didn't know Mystreet is another dimension that Irene basically copy pasted from the diaries dimension so that she can see her friends live happy lives. (copy pasted theory has not been confirmed but is heavily implied). This new dimension is causing a disturbance in the universe, a dimension that was created by an unnatural force. This is what I believe causes the VOID. (Theories here) The VOID wants to reset the universe to how it should be, so the VOID wipes it clean so the universe can start over again without this disturbance. It destroys dimensions one by one, wiping away everything. When it began to reach the Mod Mod World dimension, it wanted to recreate what started this, good vs evil, light vs dark, a hero vs a villain, Irene vs Shad. So it found hero's and brought them to the dying dimensions to fight against a VOID created villain. It brought Laurance from Minecraft Diaries after Garroth knocked him out at Ungrths grave and took the amulet from him (season 1, ep 99). And it brought Jayden, an Estorran and possibly brother to DoE character Asher. The VOID consumes everything in its path to reset and it is causing these weird things to happen in the dimensions it destroys. But hey that's just a theory, a VOID Paradox Theory.

(Again close to nothing has been confirmed)

Side thing. VOID Burn. VOID Burn occurs after someone travels to another dimension via unstable means. Prof. Modzilla has VOID Burn from traveling to the Mod Mod World dimension. In Minecraft Diaries, we see VOID Burn twice, the first time was when Aphmau was trying to get Garroth out of the Irene Dimension using her powers, but her burns faded quick. The second time was after Aaron got Garroth and Zane out of the Irene dimension, he was covered in VOID Burns before he died. Even in MyStreet, Aaron was stuck in the VOID and when Irene saved him, he was covered in VOID Burns. (this is canon information)

So I came up with a duo name for my babies! And with that I’ve also been thinking about my other Aphmau ocs like my Mod Mod world one Iris. She’s a merchant and a retired scientist who used to be in the family business on other dimension mods. She’s still connected to it but she sells resources and items from other dimensions.

This is the only drawing I have of her but this is her more home attire. She has another outfit for when she’s working. She also has a little girl Maxine/Max. Who likes to run around. But along with her I also have concept ideas on Marsh and Reese’s brothers(or siblings as I call them) because it’s known that they have a lot of siblings and I’ve thought about four of them.

Penelope, the third oldest, she’s trans and is MtF and is based off Peach Candy.

Callum, the fourth oldest, he’s based off Cherry flavored candy.

I’d believe they’re all corrupted like Marsh was and could’ve been saved. I do have an idea where they are saved and all reunited. I like to think about that a lot— I do plan to redraw Iris maybe in the future. And maybe I’ll draw her little girl too

I think we were robbed of the concept of a full fledged dimension hopping team from MMW.

Like Modzilla making a whole lil team of having the group they established throughout MMW continue to SAFELY travel through dimensions. It's how I reason Marsh, Reese and Lady Luck being seen in MyStreet seasons every so often. Because Marsh and Reese are the ONLY two candy people we ever see in MYS, so it would be reason that theh aren't from the MYS realm.and are just going around doing dimension research for Mod or technically Polly and Laila who then give it to Mod, however that would work.

FFXIVWrite2024 - Day 27: Memory

Coin rolled in his palm, Sal staring at the water below the lip of the dock he leaned on, a small lamp on the pillar the Corsair was against providing light to the waves and water and young man. His eyes watched the dock, having slunk back to Nashmau and this time in the shadows, a thick brown coat hiding any hint of red in its folds and depths.

With his eyes closed Sal could imagine that beyond the Marsh he could hear the Fomor in Arrapago Reef still and his head bowed, the waves singing and crying with the teeming souls of the drowned. He had forged peace with Aphmau - Nashmeira - but it had cost him everything he had loved. The closest thing to his home was the port city Nashmau where he had spent a few turns surviving when the seas had spit him out as Odin had raised the Ebony Queen, hiding from the inspection of the Empire, and for their safety Sal sat on the pier away from the people, head down and hands hidden by shadows.

He had left the last time with the ward of evil in his wake, knowing Marafarh had passed her helm to Javed and Javed… had none of the grace Marafarh had or care for a child she'd watched grow up. And Sal, who had only wanted to give his few people left peace, took their demand for exile as the only thing he could do for them: he was shadowed by Beasts and nothing Sal could do could remove that stain. Nines might no longer follow him as much but Nines still could, and even if Aphmau commanded the Beasts to change - they were Beasts.

He'd seen their souls break and knew things the Immortals would never let be known free.

"Lad, y' grabbing supplies?" The ship captain he had been working with on the journey over caught that of all the crew Sal had remained near the ship like it was a leash and the teen - a young man now, leaving the innocent turns behind more and more - lifted his head and offered a lopsided smile, hair hiding an eye that glimmered gold in the dim light.

"We're leaving at tide, aye?"

"Aye."

"Don't need anythin' then."

The captain slowly came up beside him, looking down at Sal and his coat, spotting the bulk hidden in the coat, the thick squat gun he carried but never drew, then watched his hands a moment, long enough to see the glint in his palm. "What stories does that coin have then, lad?"

Sal lifted the coin up and on one side cresting waves and a dolphin squad, on the other a ship. The coin looked worn, beloved, cared for in a way that spoke of constant holding and time and the Captain, for a moment, felt in his blood and bones the salt of the sea reaching out as he stared. He'd seen the coins before, once, in a dusty box but this coin had never been stored in a box away from sight.

"Love and curse. Blood and salt. Death and damnation," came the answer from the odd lad who'd joined their crew in a squall and had never asked for anything. He loved the sea, anyone with eyes could tell - the only thing he loved, maybe, as the captain heard the layer of loathing wrapped around Sal's words as the coin vanished again.

Silence and waves before the captain spoke. "Who're y' named for then, lad?"

A laugh before Sal's eyes closed and he drew in the air. "Luzaf."

"Dangerous name to carry, especially here."

"That's not why." Sal looked at the captain and his smile was light. "If you want, I'll leave. No one here will blame y', if you worry."

Little pieces clinked into place for the sailor as he looked from Sal to the port. "You've been here before."

"Yes."

"And they've asked y' to stay away."

"Yes."

Sal offered nothing at the damning words - no explanation, no tears, no pleading. The captain felt like the boy had accepted the reason for the sentence it was, and the captain knew this port was special, old, ancient and quiet as if it carried ghosts in its cellars. "The crew?"

"They'll be fine." Now there was something in Sal's tone, the guilt and swallow quick, harsh. "It's me. Not like y' knew. I bought passage, I'm not crew." His hand closed on something. "You can leave my bag on the dock."

Staring at the man who had left the ship and stayed on the dock instead of setting foot on the land of the city the captain weighed the unknowns like a pile of sand and coins on a scale. And then, looking at the city, he sighed even as he pulled his hat on and started to move. "Nothin' personal, lad. You're good with the ship, with the sea-"

"Captain has to look out for his crew first." Soft words but understanding.

The captain wondered if he felt better for them even as he left the strange passenger alone on the docks, watching now and catching sight of the spotters he'd missed before, ones Sal likely had known about given he'd stayed unmoving as soon as they docked. His crew and their work needed Nashmau more than they needed the coin from a cursed lad - a whistle back to the ship and a rough call and a few ticks later Sal's bag, packed as if he'd expected this, was set on the dock near him as the captain turned from the ship, walking the planks to Nashmau and away.

Leaning on the bag on one side, the pillar on another, Sal let his eyes close and held his breath until his lungs burned.

APHMAU HEADCANONS !! (i’m slowly reorganizing my hcs on my notes app)

she's a bisexual who found out in high school. when she met Teony, she thought she was really pretty, and it later developed into a tiny crush as they got closer.

later on, she ended up developing a HUUGE crush on Katelyn that dissipated a few months after they moved in together in season one, but they are the dictionary definition of platonic soulmates.

she is now madly in love with Aaron and when they do get married, it's a beautiful, small wedding that's only their immediate family and close friends from season six. Aphmau also invited Vylad, as he was one of her first ever friends in life and high school.

she has ADHD. she struggled a lot with it, growing up. in school, people were making fun of her for how she acted, that's why Sylvanna started homeschooling her until it calmed down a little.

she (obviosuly) has social anxiety.

she has a majorly good relationship with her mama. she tells her //almost// everything, unless it deals with romantic things.

she never really cared about Zack, esp after when she found out why he was gone. she was fine with just her mom, they're a good duo. it's always been just them and it always will be.

her middle name is Marie. her last name is Shields.

Aphmau Marie Shields.

at one point she had feelings for Zane (canon) but she realized later on, they they were never romantic. just plain platonic. yes, she is in love with him, but platonically.
