A noncomprehensive directory of how I tag things, for blocking and searching purposes

First of all, I tag every fandom, character, and ship that I reblog. Usually it’s the whole show/fandom name, but there are a few exceptions; plus, it gets confusing with English and Japanese names. I also tend to tag duos/trios but not always.

Fandom tags!

I tag Seraph of the End as both "Owari no Seraph" and “Seraph of the End.” Most posts should have both tags. This is because I’m indecisive and can’t remember what I originally tagged it as

Hetalia is just "Hetalia." Also, all Hetalia characters are tagged with “aph [country name]”, never human names. Duos and groups like NA brothers, magic trio, and FACE family will be tagged as such. "APH canon strips" is how I tag anything drawn by Hima.

I tag Mystic Messenger characters’ names the Western way (infortunately). You’re gonna wanna search “Yoosung Kim” “Jumin Han” and “Jihyun Kim.” On the other hand, I tag kpop members names’ the Eastern way. Search for “Min Yoongi” “Jung Hoseok” and “Han Jisung.”

Obey Me is tagged as “obey me!” and all characters are tagged as “obey me! [character]”.

Most mcyts are tagged as their usernames, with some exceptions, such as #charlie slimesicle, #dreamwastaken, #foolishg, #michael my beloved (the piglin), and #philza minecraft. i also have tags for “patches the cat” and “jellie the cat” :)

General tags! 

“spicy” is how I tag anything with sex jokes, sensual nudity, or slightly steamy content. sexual content will be tagged “nsft” (not safe for tumblr)

I use "long post" on those annoyingly long posts that clog up your dash.

“j posts” are my posts, and “j draws” are my drawings. “j writes” are my fics or original writing (though I usually just post these on Ao3). 

I rarely engage in irl-related discourse, but if I do, it will be tagged “discourse,” so feel free to blacklist that tag. I also tag DSMP discourse or character crit with “[character] crit.” ex ‘techno crit’, ‘phil crit’, ‘ranboo crit’
