what are some headcanons u have about the squid sisters?

-I'd like to think that Callie and Marie are just stage names done up for the Squid Sisters brand! But because they've lived as Callie and Marie for so long and were so active in the public eye, it's just sometimes easier to call each other by said names anyways. They got used to it!

-Their real names being Aori and Hotaru like in the JP version of Splatoon.

-Im a big fan of the firefly squid Marie agenda and so I think she should have the bioluminescent spots, but I also think people fail to remember that Callie is a bigfin reef squid also known as a glitter squid which are known to be iridescent! So I like to think she should have iridescent stripes to contrast Marie.

-I love to push Callie to do more acting stuff (as seen by my horror series) and while I know in Splatoon 2 she only did small roles, I'm a big fan of her becoming a bigger actress over time.

-This is more of an au thought but whenever I draw Marie I like to indulge in it; but I had this story thing that Marie's hands have been heavily damaged due to an incident Post Splatoon 2 with Hypnoshades Callie. I wrote a comic about it here.

-They love to refer to Cap/Agent 3 as their sibling, and go to all their little DJ gigs- even if it's just a hobby.

I have the impression that every time you draw a couple, any one of them, the girl is tiny.

exemple Madara is smaller than Tobirama, Katsura is smaller than Mada, so Tobirama is a giant. Aori is exactly Madara's size?💀

Tobirama is an accidental giant to that’s sort of a Senju jokey HC I have for the Senju in that AU. Katsura is 4’10” so mostly everyone is taller than her.

But I got some big girls too and a short king at 5’0” (one of the reasons Katsura is so short, he’s her father)

With the tallest being Kaga at 6’4

The shorter girls do get paired up more by my followers tho, but I’m not complaining ✨

The incomplete version of her power, works simply as what she says happens. Though as the writer she needs to be in the 3rd perspective, referring her subject as how she sees them (i.e. describe them)

A completion of her book allows her to bring it to life, creating a very own universe for the "story" to play through the written words. She can also use it at the existing world, as long it has not happened yet.

works as a prediction as what she writes inside of her book happens in a specific time she wants. Using Time Ahead: Written Effect drains her energy significantly, depending on how heavy the content she wrote and want to happen.

Jiyoon cannot stand Azul's blabber for contracts... she would very much explode in anger if he continues to advertise near her vicinity...

Writing stories and drawing is one of her stress relieves.

If given any chance, she, will curse Vil Schoenheit proudly... in her language of course. :)

Jiyoon just accepted her fate being followed by Rook Hunt after she confronted him and requested him to stop. Spoilers; he didn't.

Jiyoon and Lilia often talk about the past, sometimes hinting the trauma and talk it out together.

Curses (and poison) does not affect Jiyoon, though it will inflict pain, it will just vanish in an hour or so. Vil's unique magic does not affect her either.

She create paper origamis and paper human to either aid her in her work or put some entertainment.

She is accidentally Jade's (unexpected) friend after she accidentally let out a slip of information about certain mushrooms. (She tried her best to get away and lo and behold, it did not work.)

She is best friends with Kyong Dae and they regard each other as sisters-in-arms.

Aria! Finalized her design (post-runaway).

I’m finally going to get around to actually writting this story! I’m calling it Legends of Aoris, here is an excerpt

Something dances in the mist. I remember following it. The darkened buildings tower above us, the fog obscuring the sky. Father tells me there is no city in the forest, there never was. But the voice danced with me, in the swirling mist. It looked like fire, a will-o-wisp, as Momma would have called it. I think I saw others in the mist too. A girl with raven dark hair, spinning among her own private rain cloud, a boy with curly copper hair whose dancing made sparks fly. A strangely familiar face, twirling among the wrought iron lamps. I saw a shimmering tail, like a siren’s, in the sky, swimming through the dark mist like the deep ocean. The night just went on and on, as the flickering flame danced from lamp to lamp, leading me further into the heart of the silent city. The mist glowed with an ethereal light, and soon more flames twirled with us. When we reached the city center, there was a looking glass. I saw within, a sea floor. What would have been sand, appeared as glass, surrounding a stone, with an ornate bow, untouched by corrosion in the water resting atop, the water boiling around it. A quiver and arrows lay against the rock. I reached for it, but the wisps called me away. I was drawn back to the edge of the forest, and woke in my bed.

Basically the premise is long ago, someone figured out how to steal magic, and become godlike. They began to create churches dedicated to them, and one of their core beliefs is that the people born with magic need to give it up, for only the Eternal Gods (as they call themselves) deserve it. They sealed away the weapons of the old gods, removing their power. Hundreds of years later, the history of magic has been erased, and magical humans are outlawed. A young princess pyromancer, Aria, her loyal guard, Finnigan, who can manipulate metals, and several of their new friends, kicked from their homes, band together to uncover their magical history, and find the weapons of old.
