Looks visibly angry. Furrowed brow, angry, clenched fists, clenched jaw

He has to take deep breaths to calm down.

He can get a little despairing at first, and might even consider backing off because some of her admirers look and seem way better than him.

But he'd watch her carefully to see how she reacts to their pickup lines, compliments, suave, moves. He'd see what sort of man she responds best to.

Only when he's absolutely certain about her, he'll build up the courage to make his move.

He'd be hiding a mess of nerves under his cool, calm exterior as he does.

Phillip Graves:

The first sight of it makes him click his tongue.

He'd definitely stare daggers at every single person who looked her way, and he'd do it for DAYS.

He'll intercept anyone who dares approach her, pretending he needs them for something-- just so he can divert their attention away from her.

And then he'd give them a very subtle threat when they're out of earshot.

And when everything is settled and he has shooed away all competition, he'll make his move.

Having a bit of a random vent here; hope I'm not being annoying (!). This just feels like a safe place idk but I apologise if I’m overstepping. I recently found out by accident that @/aoioozora, a blog I follow in the COD fandom, uses/has used/intended to use c.ai. Just mentioning this in case you'd prefer to block the blog like I decided to. I sent her an ask about it, including a screenshot I'd taken from a Google search preview of an ask they'd sent someone else: https://imgur.com/a/2XV1Mce. She’s continued posting, even answered a different anon, but hasn't replied to my ask at all. I'm fairly certain the message didn't get lost because I can see the link I included has been viewed several times, and those views definitely weren't mine, and I haven't shared the link with anyone else until now.

I'm getting the vibe she’s deliberately ignoring the issue, acting as though it doesn't exist, which honestly really sucks because I was a genuine follower. I wish more people in this fandom would recognise how harmful c.ai actually is and cared enough to educate themselves properly. Even if it had been an honest mistake initially, she’s acting indifferent about acknowledging it or even confirming she’s learnt from it and ceased usage, so it feels like her silence endorses c.ai itself. My initial message wasn't even rude, but her reaction (or lack of reaction really) has me annoyed now tbh.

I'm just genuinely tired of repeatedly having to block blogs over this. At this rate, I'll hardly have any COD blogs left to follow besides yours and a few others purely because of these behaviours.😭 I don't understand the obsession with that site? From the screenshots I've seen, it's not even remotely good, not that quality would ever excuse its use anyway. 

No pressure to post or reply to this at all. I just needed to vent and also wanted to let you know as you're a writer I admire and I don't want to see your work used for AI purposes or be viewed by someone who supports AI. Just thought I'd lyk to be safe too.

Honestly anon the best thing I can say is just to block and move on. You tried to reach out and were ignored, which makes this person's intentions pretty clear. They'd rather engage with ai than be creative and rp with other fandom members and that's their prerogative. Best thing to do is stop engaging with them and encouraging the idea that it's okay to use a program that scrapes the work of writers.

It sucks so many people use c.ai, but it means that in your search for new folks to follow you may discover a newbie writer writing for the first time! New writers need a lot of encouragement right now, especially when so many users are resorting to c.ai for storytelling. You may find a hidden gem out there!

I didn’t make it clear enough in my anon answer and my reblog so let me make it known, I am no longer gonna talk about the situation with Bseplt, Dsvwd, Dmnkid, and Shecmbt for two reasons:

I believe I have said what I needed to. I have said nothing I regret, and I have done nothing I regret really. <- (This is the biggest reason)

There is pretty good evidence at this point showing that Myka has a connection to the four that I have mentioned. (I’m still holding out hope that they weren’t lying, but they undeniably have a connection to Myka. Myka has proven herself to be a pathological liar at every turn. As Sheheal, she spun me very elaborate lies in dms. If these guys are Myka or are her friends, then good lord that woman needs a hobby.)

To that Anon who I think messaged me twice, thank for your concern. Thank you for taking time out of your day to make me aware of possible foul play. But please stop messaging me. That goes for any anons at this point, please stop messaging me about this situation.

Besides one of them going on hiatus and two of the three deleting their blogs entirely, nothing extremely drastic happened. None of them said that they were ending their lives or going to self harm.

Unless my actions have led to somebody directly getting hurt (please make me aware if that is the case), I don’t think I have much to apologize for.

I was using the posts of those three, as a spring board to talk about issues I saw in the CoD community. It wasn’t really about the barracks bunny thing, because tbh if you don’t like the term then don’t use it and filter it out of your feed. It’s on par with ‘slut’ and ‘whore’ in terms of how many people like the degrading aspect of it when directed at them, but others don’t and take offense to it. These words have negative connotations that people should be aware of, but both takes are equally valid.

The only thing that I can say changed because of those four is that their situation is not good evidence for the harassment service members/veterans get from those in the community anymore, now that there is a lot of doubt surrounding them.

There has also been a lot of damage done to the conversations around the term ‘barracks bunny’ and the aforementioned harassment of service members/veterans because of this situation.

Which if this is just misunderstanding and these guys are not Myka, then that goes to show how much a vile person Myka is because now people who aren’t even associated with her still deal with the harm her actions caused. If these guys are Myka it’s now ten times worse, because one of these accounts (Dsvwd) said that she was a victim of SA in the military. The cherry on top is that Myka is basically committing the crime of stolen valor.

It’s because of the latter stuff I mentioned that I hope the accusations about these guys being Myka are not true.

I wanted to talk about harassment and toxicity in the Cod community, contribute to the conversation around the treatment of those in or from the military, and that’s it. Now, I have spent an unhealthy amount of time on this situation. It’s giving me a headache. I’m gonna leave it be now.

Not you supporting literal murderers, why tf should anyone care about people who cause nothing but suffering/destruction, murdering and raping innocent civilians for a living?? Anon, I get where you're coming from, and I admire your sense of justice towards innocents.

But please, don't generalise all soldiers as people who WANT to cause suffering. I do not condone or support any of these things you've mentioned, and people who enlist in the army, I'm sure, do not join to murder and cause suffering. They just want to serve the country. And it just so happens that when it's time, they are called to fight simply for defending the honour of their country and the safety of their citizens. I can't speak for all soldiers, but I'm sure a lot of them wish peace and safety was not brought about through strife.

And oftentimes, the ones who enlist are the ones who suffer under the oppressive hand of their government by being forced to kill. Sure, no doubt there are soldiers who revel in causing destruction out of their hatred, but can you say it's the same for all soldiers? Besides, not all the jobs in the military mean they get to kill people. My aunt is a retd. Major and she was an education officer. And when she enlisted, I'm 100% sure she didn't enlist because she wanted to kill and murder and rape.

I'm sure you're smart enough to understand this much.

Look, this is the sad reality of the world. Death, destruction, and suffering are commonplace, and it's something we have to sadly come to accept. That doesn't mean it's right. But remember, what we see around us is out of our control. We cannot control what laws governments pass, what they order their soldiers to do, etc. And sometimes, soldiers can be brainwashed by propaganda and be ignorant of facts too.

I know, the injustice sucks, and I completely get it. But you can't be unjust and blame soldiers for all the misery in the world when you don't know what they're going through. Ultimately, it's not right to judge because we don't know their thoughts, their background, their beliefs, mental state etc.

And yes, I agree with you to some extent that calling someone a "barracks bunny" isn't the end of the world. I've been called a whore and the world didn't end. We just gotta take it in our stride and move on because we have better things to do. But does it mean it's still not severely hurtful? It hurts, and for some sensitive people, the anxiety of being perceived that way can live with them for a long time. Nobody deserves to be called such hurtful things, whether you like them or not.

If you want to be called one and be one, then sure, go ahead and knock yourself out. I don't support promiscuity but I support your freedom to choose. But don't go around saying that female soldiers deserve it because they're "murderers". I don't know if you're a woman, but if you are, I feel like you're not really being a girl's girl here. A real girl's girl would support freedom of choice, whether you like that choice or not. A real girl's girl would understand that there's more to it than what meets the eye. Hell, it even goes even if you're not a woman.

Also, it's not about "if they don't want to be called that, they shouldn't enlist". They SHOULDN'T be called that, period. You hear similar shit in corporate too like "she slept her way to the top". Iterations of it are everywhere! It's disrespectful, rude, discouraging, and degrading. Women go through enough already, this is too much. No woman deserves this nonsense, especially if they're hardworking and sincere, no matter the industry. Forget about them being women for a moment; can we just treat them as human beings? With feelings, aspirations, dreams? Hell, even dignity?

In our passionate rants, are we forgetting that other people are human just like us?

Anon, you are free to have your opinions, but please don't be rude about it. Consider that not everyone is out here trying to actively hurt people. And maybe consider being brave and bringing up your concern to the OP instead of me, since she's a soldier and I'm just a civvy. I'm sure you'll get insight better than mine.

And in conclusion, I suggest you read my favourite poem No Men Are Foreign by James Falconer Kirkup. I hope it's relevant to your concern and gives you a fresh new perspective.

I was going to ask this the other day when I saw your ask post but completely forgot.

Anyway, this question is regarding the newer cod MW series; what are your thoughts on Ghost's skull mask? I've seen pretty mixed reviews on it. Some people love it while others think it's too edgy and unrealistic for actual combat situations. Imo, I don't really have any strong opinions on it, but I think I like the balaclava better, simply because at times the skull mask can look a little odd to me.

I think the balaclava would be more realistic since it's easy to use, maintain, and produce.

The skull mask looks like it's more work to maintain. Even if it's unrealistic, I still think it looks cool and looks more intimidating than the balaclava. In fact, it reminds me of those scary masks/helmets ancient Japanese soldiers would wear to war for intimidation.

It does look edgy but since it's a fictional video game, I think artistic liberties can be taken.

After all, we're all just having fun ^^

Please drop the daughter!reader x dad!Elias Walker fic!!! I think I saw somewhere that you had an idea about writing it, and I tried to look for it but I can’t find it anywhere

I also can’t really find any sort of Walker!reader fics anywhere, I’ve really tried to look for a crumb of just anything, but I’ve come up with nada! So please, for my heart, drop the Walker!reader fic 😭🙏

I have found some from gunnrblze, but those are more short hc’s. But the whole concept has SOOO much potential. Just think about it, Elias being reminded of his late wife every time he sees daughter!Walker, just a constant reminder of his previous life before the ODIN strikes, something he can never get back. Every time on base, when reader hums or dances while doing chores, the Walker boys are reminded of their mom, who hummed the same tune, who danced the same dance. They thought Logan took after their mother, but reader is just a mini version of what they lost

And even worse? Reader can barely remember their mom. Reader was so young when she died, she got so little time with her. (Heavily inspired by the Daughter!Walker anons from gunnrblze) And imagine if Rorke took reader when she was young, gave her the Logan-treatment for years, she’s rescued by their family, but is never the same. The whole family misses out on so much with each other, reader thinks the family sees her as a burden, they don’t, they just can’t look at her without seeing their wife/mother, and the little girl that died at the hands of Rorke. She joins the military alongside her family, to make up for all the killing she did for the federation while brainwashed. The Walker family don’t want her to join because they can’t bear the thought of losing her again, but she puts in even more effort because she feels guilty, they want to help her, but she doesn’t want to burden them even more, they try to keep her close, but she thinks it’s because they don’t trust her!

The absolute angst of it all. I need to feel my heart shatter. If this is too complicated, or not what you wanted to write when you planned to write the daughter!Walker fic, then feel free to ignore this mess. I just feel like you’re the best person to turn to when asking for a Walker family fic. Like bro, your writing is majestic, it’s absolutely beautiful. You don’t have to write anything if you don’t want to, but I would really appreciate if you maybe just entertained this little idea

About my COD OC, Ivy "Vampire" Valentina Salvador de Almeida

Basics

Ivy is the only daughter of Salvador and Helen de Almeida.

She was born in India, in the state of Goa, on the outskirts of Madgaon and lived there for a few years before moving down south to Karnataka, where she spent her formative years. Her teenage and adult years were spent in Liverpool, England.

She can speak Konkani and English fluently, while she has partial fluency in Portuguese and Kannada

She's a devout Roman Catholic

Her personality type is ENFJ

She's a tall girl standing at 5'7"/170 cm! Always stood at the back of the line for school assemblies. She inherited her height from her dad.

She's a WO2 Drill Sergeant in the British Army and serves in the Infantry Training Center where she trains infantrymen in basic and advanced skills.

She's nicknamed 'Vampire' from her slightly long canine teeth, all natural.

Personality

Being an extrovert, she enjoys company and doesn't like being alone.

She's normally quiet, but if she does speak, she's charismatic, genuine, and charming, and this often got her into quite some leadership positions in school and university, and allows her to very easily make friends.

Drinking makes her talkative, and even flirtatious, but she'll have to drink quite a lot to get to that point.

She has a strong sense of justice, and cannot stand it if innocent people are needlessly harmed. Being a drill sergeant gives her a little power to execute justice if needed.

She's optimistic to a fault, often getting bogged down by reality sometimes.

Her restless, adventurous spirit makes her hate being in one place. She enjoys travelling and doing highly thrilling activities like bungee jumping. She can also be quite reckless; give her a motorcycle and she'll be popping wheelies and even drifting.

Being an only-child, she can be quite selfish and bossy, though most of it was beaten out of her during her basic training.

Likes and Dislikes

She enjoys cooking and baking and can make a variety of dishes.

She loves reading historical accounts and all sorts of fiction, especially thrillers and mysteries. Her favourite novel is 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. She also enjoys Dostoevsky's novels

Her favourite Indian food is Mysore masala dosa and English food is Scotch egg

She hates milk tea and extremely spicy food (her Indian card is always at the risk of being revoked)

She loves anything that has garlic in it, though her favourite would be garlic bread

Her favourite dessert is apple pie

An area that has her whole heart is the Western Ghats

Her favourite color is phtahlo green

English Ivy

Her father is an adventurous man, so he took his family hopping around a lot from Goa to Karnataka, and eventually to England, where his wife got a job as a nurse.

Ivy and family moved to England when she was around fifteen years old, and settled in Liverpool.

Getting used to England's cold and gloom was a nightmare for poor coast born Ivy who loves the sun and heat. She can comfortably tolerate 30-35 degrees C like most Indians, but absolutely suffers through English winters despite eventually getting used to it.

Her years in Liverpool eventually bestowed upon her the glorious Scouse accent, though hers has an Indian lilt to it.

She had a hard time adjusting in English society, especially as an extrovert and a teenager, and often felt unwelcome in school. However, her university years were much more pleasant.

Do not talk to her about the Indian food in England. She will not hesitate to begin her TED talk.

If there's anything she actually does like about England, it's the abundance of pubs. She loves to drink, but considering how reckless she is known to be, she's surprisingly a responsible drinker and rarely lets herself get blackout drunk.

I've yet to think about her interactions with TF141, but that's all about her for now!
