Putting together a new top 10 favorite anime list but completely forgetting Vinland Saga because I forget it's an anime half the time and see it more like a viking period drama that happens to be animated

#i was raking my brain like i KNEW there was an anime i watched after aot but i couldn't remember #anyways. vinland saga is great might even like it more than fmab #i just don't post a lot about it here because it's not really suited for fandom i think #it doesn't really have a wacky set of characters or any shenanigans to lighten the mood #besides like thorkell #otherwise it's a gritty and grounded depiction of slavery and war and i appreciate that
