As someone who has accidentally slept for 23 hours straight and literally has a nickname as “snooze” I’m obligated to do this (I tried to look for a cute / aesthetic gift but that pup is my spirit animal fr)

I’ve been digging how @oozedninjas does their Headcanons (as long with their writing, I seriously eat it up everytime yum yum yum)

as much as I love looooong Headcanons, sometimes I only have some blurbs going on in my mind, I also think this keeps things so dynamic, every interaction can be seen and everyone is happy yipee (I hope you don’t mind me using your writing style? Headcanon Set-up? Layout? as reference! Pls let me know if so, I’ll def take it out or reference you on new ones!)

today was heckas I woke up from the most fucked nightmare, thought I was getting sick/rundown(I might be?) or maybe my eyes just hurt bc poor sleep quality who knows, but had a really slow morning compared to yesterday (I seem to only have one fully productive day every 4-6months fr), so I just listened to podcasts in bed and didn’t feel well (kept my expectations low) then didn’t get outta bed til like 3pm BUT then proceeded to go for a walk in the rain (I am determined to make myself not despise winter for the first year ever) which slayed so hard (while listening to my audiobook ofc), ate all my meals and then some, drank 2L water(as I set out to do in my post last night), did some laundry, prepared more meal prep for next sem and took a shower(from the floor must add lol)… it is true I am healing myself through the power of delulu lmao jk I feel physically fkd but at least mentally I feel not so bad as a result yipee I just be doing one thing at a time and it be working out in a way :,) extra grateful for the hot shower I just had and the yummmy foooods I consumed I had protein icecream I pre-made for brekky (it’s not rlly icecream but it tastes like it) then I had sausage and egg muffin/sandwich thing I also pre-made and then I had choc up&go after walk (aussies will know) and sweet and sour chicken and rice for din I also pre-made and also I randomly melted frozen berries and super duper dark choc earlier today bc I was bored and it was… interesting :,) also grateful bc was only in pain a few times today (a lot less than lately) and feel slightly less exhausted than yesterday (probs cos I didn’t get out of bed til afternoon) - anyways I didn’t take my camera on my walk bc it was raining and as y’all know I be hiring it and didn’t pay for extra insurance so like yeah nah - so here’s a random pic below from my phone on my walk !! and also my goals for tomorrow are to drink 2L+ again and to cook another meal and I’ll leave it at that bc idk how Im gonna wake up feeling and I don’t wanna feel overwhelmed and like a failure bc then I’ll spiral lmaooo - hope ur day is going fab !!!!

A funny irl whump story of mine I reckoned you’d enjoy:

A year-ish ago I went on a class trip in the city amid winter. Now, I live in another town than the city I study in, so I commute back and forth by public transport - long story short, I ran to catch the bus to the train station so I could hop on the incoming train back home, but unfortunately I missed it and had to wait for over an hour for the next one.

And alas, my phone had died. Until the end I was very worried about any anxieties I may give to my family by not responding to their calls but another concern was also the *time* - by having zero battery, I also had no watch. Somehow, my genius brain thought it was a good idea to go like “Since you have no way of telling when the train is coming, you better stay on the platform *outside* so you can see it coming. Don’t even think about sitting inside the station and asking people for the time, this is Cringe”. So I spent that hour-and-something pacing along the platform, getting colder and colder by the minute…

The train came when it had gotten dark, I met an old friend and we sat together inside. The compartments were warm but my insides were *not* - I chatted along with her, hoping that I’ll soon feel better but by the time we arrived back in town, I still felt like a refrigerated chicken. In fact, I still felt unbearably cold as I rode in my dad’s even warmer car on the way back to my house (the one fortunate thing was that he knew he had to pick me up so my lack of phone contact wasn’t a problem anymore). 

What also was concerning was that I was barely even shivering. Reasonably worried, I took my temperature out of fear I may have given myself hypothermia but luckily, I was fine. I went to take a hot shower anyways but still felt like I had jumped in freezing river waters to dig for the cross (I’m referencing Yordanovden here lol, a very cool Bulgarian tradition for those who are curious). At last, the only thing that thawed the cold out of me was wrapping myself up in blankets and laying in bed for 30 minutes. That last part was fun because:

 a) “Yipee, I single-handedly prevented my demise, look how responsible and independent I am!!”

b) It was a nice excuse to lay tucked in my comfy, warm bed for half an hour before having to succumb to Ye Beloathed Homework

c) I had my pretty Sailor Moon bed sheets to keep me company while I was defrosting :D

Hope you all enjoyed my tomfoolery, telling it was a Neat writing exercise, stay safe and utilise your common sense to prevent ending up like I did lol

oh my goodness, anon, that sounds like an ordeal!!! there really is no worse feeling than being so chilled down to your bones that even being in a heated place isn’t enough to warm you up 🥶🥶🥶

i used to have to go to these cold-weather sporting events back in college, and it’s honestly such a weird feeling afterward when you’re sitting there wrapped in blankets and somehow STILL cold (honestly can’t believe I hadn’t thought of describing it as feeling like a refrigerated chicken - that’s perfect 🤣)

moral of the story - don’t wait outside in the cold!! ever!! unless you want to be someone’s whump inspo!

yea i made a human au for termite and willow B) honestly human termite and willow are much more interesting since theres so many situations to put them in :D i have a whole lil storyline built up with my friend n its very cool and now you lot get to hear about it (warning it is 3am i am very tired and will not read over this so sorry if its incomprehensible)

SO in the human au willow is an entomologist and is like successful and happy and stuff idk then she decides one day "how cool would it be if i had a child but also im single as fuck so lets adopt one". meanwhile Termite was off being saved from an abusive household (which we'll get to later) and willow ended up adopting termite!!!! YIPPEEEEEEEEE

termite is autistic hence the ear defenders :3 this is more brought to light in the human au since i dont really think theres as much of a definition of neurodivergent and neurotypical in the forest. luckily willow is also somewhere on the spectrum so she is understanding. willow and termite are very close like i often say that willow would commit war crimes for termite and im not kidding. both original willow and human au willow would blow up planets Smiling Friends Style for termite

so uh back to termite now i was agonising over whether i would have to change termites pronouns in the human au since with original termite i could just be like "oh termites just some weird forest creature who is above gender therefore i can use it" however it becomes an issue as soon as termites a human cus its a bit dehumanising to call a child "it" when the child isnt even really like. aware of gender at that point lol. and THEN my friend who i was complaining to said "what if termite came from an abusive household who used it/its on it" and thats when the cogs started turning. now the reason that termite continued to use it after being taken away from its bio family is still a bit jumbled in reality i just dont want to use different pronouns for termite nor do i want to pick what its sex is so here we are look i promise if human termite was the first termite i wouldnt be using it on it but this is just the way the cookie crumbles okay anyways as i was saying termites tragic backstory okay

so termite came from an abusive father, its mother died during childbirth due to lack of access to proper healthcare, which only made its father hate it even more because he was like "my girlfriend died for this stupid child >:(" and it most definitely didnt help that termite was disabled and struggled with so many things. It was abused pretty heavily up to age 6 but then was saved YIPE :D also not very fun fact its legal name is Milo (i like the name) but Willow noticed that every time she would call it Milo it would flinch from yk its dad shouting its name at it so instead she affectionately named it termite because it is aggressive and will bite you :3 also another unfun fact it haaattess people touching its hair since its father would drag it about by its hair often if it wasnt following instructions :(
