#honestly when i chose my username my biggest worry was a german fortnite youtuber who had it#anyways origin story! it came from the name of one of my two childhood ocs#she ended up kind of being a character i projected all my thoughts onto and ended up being. a little bit self destructive and gloomy#and her counterpart was her chaotic sister (who i eventually turned in to just a friend) who i based off the persona i tried to give off#their names were dreamsy and sapph <- (originally dream and sapphire)#anyways when i was super young i used to care a lot more about dreamsy as the one who was representative of all my issues#but over time i actually started thinking about the mental toll sapph would have with the narrative id made of her constantly putting-#-herself and her own mental health second to helping dreamsy#and it kind of turned into a narrative about boundaries and learning to take care of yourself first#now that i think about it this was kind of. dark for a story i made up when i was like 7 or 8#but ive had these two in the back of my head for years#theyre the only ocs i ever made that i really cared about#i wasnt really thinking too hard about it when i picked the name though i just chose my ocs name and went with it
