thinking about loki slipping back into his timeline to take breaks every few millennia or something and then realizing that as he lives on the timeline he wastes more of his mortal life, and by extension his ability to power reality, but he is unable to let go his family, so he has to come to the ultimatum of his love for living versus his love of the living and after running away from it for so many years, eventually chooses his love of the living and sits the throne once again, but this time forever-

#this is based off the idea that since loki is holding all of the timelines #he is outside of time #and therefore times does not pass #so his mortal body does not age #however . he does age while inside the timeline #and yes asguardians can def live for millennia #but infinity is infinity and a millenium is a drop in the bucket #im getting philosophical and existential arent i #whoops my hand slipped #loki #loki season 2 #loki the series #the finale kinda fucked me over ngl #is anybody doing ok #anyways this is kinda closet lokius #but it works any way you try to slice it really
