I'm so incredibly torn on how to feel about the new Garfield movie. On one hand, the animation looks great, love the stylization and you can absolutely tell the creators did their homework in taking inspiration from the earlier comics and just overall series aesthetic. ON THE OTHER HAND the story from just what I've seen from the trailers seems so generic and bland (like it could be any 3d animated kids flick) and I also don't like how they seemingly retconned Odie's origin (RIP Lyman!?!?) oh and yeah I CANNOT do fucking Chris Pratt Garfield like UH OH HOLY SHIT NO WAY I won't be able to get over that the whole ass movie
