Hi. Reblogging almost every post on the soulfire tag because it's been one year since Purgatory; it's been one year since the chaos, and the god-awful spawn they ended up with. It's been one year since q!tubbo has been made their team captain, first out of uncertainty, but over time gaining not only from his teammates, but strengthening his bond with the most unlikely group of people as well. It's early November again, and the winter chills are beginning to settle in where I live, and I have a cup of tea in front of me, reblogging almost every post on the soulfire tag because I miss them terribly.

It's been one year since the most unlikely group of people to ever be put on a team found family in each other because of the bitter winter they learned to persevere in. It's been one year since they found warmth and comfort despite the hell that purgatory was. In their tea. In their base, so full of light and love, despite everything they were facing. Despite the hate, despite the death, despite their imperfections, and the mistakes they made. The sins of their past. And despite the loss. They were family, and they still are. In hindsight, the concept of fighting to win in purgatory was futile, but it still stands that even though Soulfire didn't win a grand prize by the end of it, they persevered against the odds. They had hope, they had love, and they still shared that love through the new friendships they formed and strengthened through trials and tribulations over the course of those two hellish weeks, even when it was over, and that is a far grander prize than a trophy or shrine could offer.

Reblogging almost every post on the soulfire tag because I miss them terribly, and maybe I'm insane, but I would give anything to go back and experience it all again for the memories. The tea, the farming, the despair, the cold, the warmth, the misery, the base, the late night post purgatory podcasts. I miss them terribly.
