“Either you go to him or he’ll come to you” is such an ominous thing to be told when you ask if someone is free to do an autograph signing
#full context#i had been trying to figure out how to get a signing with Vincent tong all day since I couldn’t find his booth#(he and Deven Mack were in a corner away from the rest of the sonic prime cast so all the volunteers were saying he wasn’t in today)#so I finally found him ten minutes before he and the sonic prime cast were supposed to go for a photo op#my friend and I asked a volunteer if they would be available to do more autographs after the photo op so they went ‘I’ll ask :D’#they went over to him#he looked at me#and then they came back and said THAT#I was already nervous so that just scared me even more 😭😭#and then my friend pushed me over to officially say hi to Vincent tong#the volunteer was super nice and helpful though!! sentence was scary in the moment but really funny in hindsight#Vincent tong was also SUPER nice#i didn’t interact with Deven Mack much but he was nice too!!#again#didn’t realize he was Arin’s VA until I got home though 😭#anyways still reeling from meeting Kai ninjago in real life#and reeling from Kai ninjago complimenting my art
