eloa is aware of everyoneâs sorrow... all of the time... she feels it in her bones, in her mind, in her being. thereâs never a moment where she isnât being crushed by the weight of the world. anyone that isnât eloa or god would crumble under the intensity of it because itâs literally every creature in the universe, in every world, every realm, that she feels sorrow from. thereâs no escape from it and while eloa can choose to focus on a singular person their pain it doesnât diminish the rest. sheâs learned how to function despite of it all but itâs still a lot

Task 001 :Â Â Camper Report
Camperâs Name: Austin Daniel Geller
Austin: from Augustus, meaning majestic or venerable. Daniel: âGod is my judge.â Geller: âone who yellsâ or âyellow man.â
Camperâs Age: 19
Camperâs Birthplace: rural Ohio
Godly Parent: Demeter
What is your relationship with your godly parent?:
âPretty solid, all things considered. When I first got here, first started figuring out what everything meant, I held a lot of resentment towards her. âHow could she leave me like that,â you know? But she came to me on my first quest, and she told me how sorry she was, and... I dunno. I know a lot of kids hold grudges against their parent for a long time but---I figure, Iâm already holding a grudge against my dad for all the shit he did. I canât hold another grudge against my mother for what she didnât do.â
When and how were you claimed?:
âI was ten, I think? It was, uh, the first time my dad ever... heâd yelled at me a lot, pushed me, knocked me around some, but that night was the first time heâd ever--heâd ever hit me. Guess that finally got Demeterâs attention. I ran upstairs and hid, mustâve missed the glowy wheat symbol above my head. But when we got up the next morning, half our crops were dead. Dunno if that was me or her, but... yeah.â
When and how did you first arrive at Camp Half-Blood?:
âIâd just turned eleven, I was in school and my guidance counselor said he wanted to have a âserious talkâ with me. Right before it got too juicy, the office was attacked. Some--I think it was a chimera?--was huntinâ me down. Mr. Stevenson--the counselor--turned out to be a satyr, and uh...donât really remember the specifics, but it was the first time I found out about my powers, you know? Anyway, we got the hell outta there. Hauled ass here to Camp Half-Blood, dunno how long it took.â He goes quiet for a moment. âHe didnât make it. We were so close, like you could see the camp in the distance. Something got him. I--I never saw what it was. He told me to run, and I did. I was just a scared little kid. By the time I turned back, he was--he... there was nothinâ I could do for him.â
Have you been on any quests? If so, give us a short summary:
âIâve been on a few. The first quest I got assigned to was towards the end of the war with the Romans. I helped rescue Eurus, one of the wind gods, from the Gorgons that had been reformed.
My second one --- uh, remember when Atlas was trying to reform that dragon, waaaaaay back when? Well, Sybaris must love being fashionably late, because she came back about six years after the fact. Long story short, we threw her off the top of Mount Rushmore, she dispersed, shouldnât be back for a while. Thatâs the one that made me a counselor.
My last one, Iâd barely call it a quest but hey, still counts, right? I guess Demeter and Persephone mustâve forgotten how to use Iris message or something, because I was given the unimaginable task of delivering a gift, several passive-aggressive notes, and finally another gift back and forth between the two. Guess Hermes and Iris mustâve been busy...I dunno, claiming all their long-lost kids or something?â
What is your camperâs favorite camp bead?:
âMy favorite bead comes from the summer I became Demeter cabin counselor. It features two dragons fighting each other, because Sybaris tried to get into camp and Peleus fought her off before we took her out west and took care of her. You ever seen two dragons fight? It was awesome. And then when we got back to Camp Half-Blood, the old Demeter head counselor stepped down. Yâknow---after I woke up in the infirmary. Said I deserved it. I probably wouldnât have challenged her for it, but... guess I canât complain too much.â
Does your camper have any notable physical attributes? (scars, tattoos, piercings, etc.):
Austin has a litany of scars. Theyâre a mixture of childhood accidents, remnants of his fatherâs abuse, a few from sparring at camp and some received on quests. The most notable scar is one running down the length of his left leg, given to him by Sybaris after nearly swallowing him whole.
