there should just be a fic where alina grows up thinking aleksander is her ghost buddy or imaginary friend or something. her and aleksander are the same age and they live in different parts of the world and they share a mind bond and one day when they’re both young he just appears like a ghost before her, even though she’s awake and outside. and her entire life is just her hanging out with mal while aleksander talks shit in the background, or alternatively, her hanging out with a mal who knows about aleksander and has to almost treat him like a friend too even though he can’t even see him just because otherwise it would upset alina.
