yknow when u have a headcanon abt a character but like ,,,,,   u dont play that character so u cant rly talk abt the headcanon bc its Irrelevant™

anyways here’s an eliza headcanon :   i get the sense that by the time of ‘schuyler defeated’ she already knows about the affair ???    this is why i think the change between workshop schuyler defeated   (  with her leaping to help alexander  &  obviously on good terms with him  )   and final schuyler defeated   (  where she’s much more passive ,   that pause before i’m sure he already knows  )   is so drastic     –––––     she doesn’t want to hear about alexander’s politics ,   she just sorta sounds empty at the mere mention of him.   she’s already in her burn dress by this point ,   &   she’s constantly in the wings or on the balcony in terms of stage directions   (  even during say no to this ,   as far as i remember  ) ,   so it’s implied that she knows about the affair long before the pamphlet just through that   (  and i think i saw somewhere that historically she probs knew about it before the pamphlet??  )   but she doesn’t have lines again till burn ,   and that’s ,   well ,   pretty obvious in terms of where i’m going with this.
